I really enjoy living here. Cant beat the convenience being so close to base. All of my appliances are new and stainless. Its very quiet which is the biggest plus. Also there is a lot of parking so no issues there. The maintenance and front office staff are really good. Kaitlyn is always very helpful for us.
Awful experience. At our tour, we were promised things and oddly enough almost none of them were true. I will be contacting Bell Partners, inc headquarters directly to put in a formal compliant. I am concerned for others that may be fooled in the future as well.Downstairs neighbors invited all their friends over to smoke weed while we were moving in upstairs. The stench of Marijuana filled the breezeways, it probably was some sort of drug deal as well considering how long those friends stayed. They claim it is full of young families and military personnel/veterans (As my husband is) but it is not. The lease says that the units are smoke free- The manager says it is because they are on the lease of the old company but it is still not OK.The advertised an immediate move in for us. We payed the $450 application fee, admin fee and deposit, and we were told that we could move in 10 minutes after it processed. But wait, then they extended it to 2 days ahead because of a plumbing problem ok, I definitely want working plumbing but thought it was odd that a unit ready for immediate move in all of a sudden had plumbing issues. Then we sign the lease, and once we get there to get the keys the manager tells us that the oven is hard to press and that they ordered a new part that will be there next week, Ok, thats fine, I can press a little hard if need be. But once we move all our stuff in and test it, THE OVEN OR STOVE DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! I have small children- are we only supposed to eat cold or microwaved food in our new apartment we pay $1265/month for? Might as well be in a cheap hotel. I then promptly call the manager and she admits that not having a working oven upon move in is not ok- EVEN THOUGH SHE FULLY KNEW THAT THIS OVEN WAS BROKEN! She leased me a unit with an oven that doesnt work and told me AFTER we signed the lease and payed all that was due! She said the stove part was ordered on the 1st of the month which was 16 days ago. She also knew that we needed working appliances, I shared that we were trying to move as soon as possible and we have young children. She offers to take $300 off rent. But that doesnt change the fact that my entire family needs to pack their things and stay in a hotel with a kitchen for days. Or go out to eat and pay more if we want a hot cooked meal. Also, the pool is broken and dirty. the gym is one treadmill and a few lifting machines. No coffee or refreshments for the residents because of covid- only a shared water fountain (? water fountains are extremely unsanitary) but they said it is company policy. The dog park is fenced in grass with dirt holes. I dont mind that, I know the dogs just need a place to run, just saying it how it is. But what is the $10/month amenities fee for? This is not right. we are breaking our lease and we signed only YESTERDAY!! It seems like these people lie and deceive you in order to get you to sign a lease for 15 months. Just be honest. It is my fault for trusting their word on things, but you know that the truth always comes out. If you want to sleep well at night, I recommend you live in righteousness and tell the truth. It is not right that they take advantage of people in the area of housing- It is something that everyone needs and people deserve to know the truth when they are signing a lease for a unit that they COULD NOT SEE PRIOR TO SIGNING. Making money off people this way is NOT RIGHT.
You pretty much dont have any privacy here due to the walls being so thin that you can hear everything your neighbors are saying and doing especially if youre outside getting ready to come in your apartment
I live there so I have mixed emotions. When I first moved in it was great. Then a month later it went bad. Brian who use to be the manager didnt get maintenance task done in a timely fashion, 6 months to remount a toilet paper holder just to name a simple one. Then he was stalking or it surely seemed like my daughter and her friends. Then covid hit and he really lost his mind. The complete maintenance staff ended up quitting. Now we have a new manager who seems to be on top of things but I see there are challenges due to having to rebuild the maintenance staff. Oh I almost forgot that they were running AIRBNB s out of the complex and one was right across from my unit and it was a constant battle about garbage. They got rid of the one across from me finally, my daughter isnt being stalked anymore so now its a wait and see. My lease is coming up for renewal so stay tuned.
My husband and I have lived here for almost 3 years. It’s been good but ever since Bryan has taken over with the new company things have been great. Work orders have been completed within 1 to 2 days. Very friendly workers and Bryan himself is amazing. I love the fact that Bryan throws events for the community to get together and meet each other. We’ve never had any problems with anything since the switch. I would recommend anyone I know to live here.
I’ve been here a year and it’s very convenient for me since they have a great dog community and it’s right next to base. The biggest issues I have is you can never get anyone when you call the front office and sometimes they are closed when they should be open. I went through the management change and the new manager is approachable and he works with you. The complex is very welcoming and I haven’t had any issues.
Been here for 3 years. Great quiet place. Rent is fair. Apartment its self is nice. Kevin is a great addition. He really makes us feel like a community and not just tenants. My girlfriend and I have made some cool friends at one of our monthly functions.
Atlantica Apartments is a great place to live! Everyone here is super friendly and nice and the staff is very accommodating! Megan, the property manager, is awesome and truly cares about her job and helping other people! Dave and E are also very quick to get any work orders done on time and very efficiently! I have no complaints about living here whatsoever! Giving 5 stars and would recommend anyone to live here!
Love it here and love the office manager Bryan even more. We have pool parties, watch football together and even some TV shows (at the pool)! It is a great community, especially if you have a dog. Atlantica is a hidden gem.
I relocated to Atlantica sight unseen and have been pleasantly surprised. It is conveniently located for my lifestyle and the apartment itself is spacious. Im always able to find parking in front of my apartment which is convenient. There is a pool area which is a nice place to relax. A new grill was recently added which is appreciated. It stays quiet at night and I dont hear my neighbors or traffic. But what really makes Atlantica a standout place is the staff that runs it - they are helpful, responsive, personable and attentive. For example, I was running late this morning and didnt have time to make breakfast. To my surprise, Kevin was there for me and passed out breakfast on the go. They really do go above and beyond.
I just signed my third lease a couple of months ago. I am originally from Atlanta and found Atlantica after doing research on the area. I wanted a place reasonably priced near the beach. It is difficult to find! But I did. Were about 1/4 mile from Hanna Park, which has beach access. The apartments here are updated, especially kitchen and bathrooms. The rooms are spacious. It is a pet friendly environment and we recently got a fenced in area to let our pets out to play. Theres a beautiful pool that is never crowded. The residents are quiet and friendly. Any time, which isnt often, I have had to request maintenance to fix something, Dave is here at least by the next day. The staff is friendly and helpful. We just got a new property manager because the last one relocated with her family. I already like him. I dont really have anything bad to say. I am middle aged, so I have leased my share of apartments over the years, and this has to be my favorite place. I am writing this review because, having no family in the area, I feel safe and part of a community. If you are looking for more than an apartment...a home...I highly recommend Atlantica.
Great experience living here, no crimes within the apartment complex. Overall great main office service from all employees especially Kevin Snider. They seem to help in anyway they can and are flexible with any issues you may come across as I did while moving my wife and daughter here. Overall I am very pleased.
Love the apartments! Definitely a great community. Kevin is always willing to help. Along with all the other staff. Always something to do monthly to get to know the people you live with. Love it!!!
10 for 10 recommend this community if you’re looking for a new place to live. The apartments are nice and affordable. The people are so friendly. The office and maintenance staff are even better and are quick to resolve any issues that arise. My fiancé and I love calling Atlantica our home!!
We have been here for a few years and absolutely LOVE this community!! What sold us was how beautiful the apartment itself was AND its gated!!! All of our neighbors are super friendly and quiet which is really nice. The staff is AMAZING! I was scared when the previous office staff left but our new office staff (Kevin) is nothing short of kind, helpful, and all around awesome! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
For sure the best apartment complex I have lived in. Nice people. Definitely managment is awesome! Since our new manager Kevin has stepped in things get done fast. He really has done a great job trying to make us a community instead of just neighbors. I would recommend this place anytime.
This is the best apartment complex in all of Jacksonville! The staff is super patient and helpful. I loved living here but unfortunately had to leave as I am in the military and was stationed elsewhere. The complex was extremely understanding when I received my orders and really streamlined the entire move-out process for me. You wont regret living here!
Great military community! Just 1 minute from the Mayport base. Management changed half way through my lease but management is impeccable! Wants to make sure all of your needs are met and that you are happy. Model looks just like the apartment itself, very happy with everything! And not to mention, very affordable!
We’ve lived here for 2 years and would be staying longer if we weren’t buying a house! The apartments are awesome and the whole complex is well maintained. The staff has always been nice and helpful and Kevin is a great addition to Atlantica!
Kevin is so great! My husband is active duty military so finding a place in between the times he is home has been very difficult. Kevin went above and beyond for myself and my family and with his help we found the apartment we had always wanted! I can’t thank them enough! Nieghborhood is very beautiful and absolutely love the apartments. Great place to be!
Moved into our apartment just a couple weeks ago and both my wife and I are beyond pleased with the location, affordability and amenities. We have been highly impressed with the complexs new property manager, Kevin. He is nothing short of professional. When he makes a promise, he delivers! The new business center and poolside grill were up and running as he said they would be. Highly satisfied with our new home and couldnt be happier!
Military is transferring us at the end of the month but I am going to miss Atlantica and the friends I have made here. You only have to watch Kevin, the manager, dragging dead leaves in the wind and in a tie to see what people really are writing about when they talk about him. Great location, I can see the base from here, its that close and its definately affordable with all the amenities. I would recommend for sure.
Helped a friend move into the apartment complex a week ago and I found the front office staff and individuals that helped us move in to be very friendly and warm. Megan the property manager was very personable and arranged help for us to move my friend into the unit. My experience was very positive and the unit and complex was clean and tidy. I would recommend this property and ask for Megan. Thanks for all the help.
I am a new resident to the Villas and the process has been made very simple by Kevin and Dillon. Kevin even offered to help me move a piece of furniture! I can only hope the time I spend here is as enjoyable as the rental process has been.
I love living here! So close to the beach and the best price! Kevin is always so willing to help and such a great addition to the community
This place is awesome and just got better! Thank you Kevin pushing forward the new additions to the pool area. Now I can grill out and watch a game right by the pool! If you can’t make it to the stadium this is the place to be on game day! Looking forward to the new gym and businesses center upgrades coming soon.
If anyone is looking in the Mayport area for a great apartment community, I would highly recommend Atlantic Apartments! The management staff is extremely friendly and will always go above and beyond to help with anything you need.
Moved into the apartment in April. Was told it was a remodeled apartment with all new appliances. This was a lie. Appliances didnt work when I moved in and they refuse to fix anything at all. All of the other appliances were dirty when we moved in. I was told the apartment had an a/c with a dedicated dehumidifier setting. This was a lie. The AC has nothing of the sort except for a constant cool setting that should lower the humidity but doesnt. I was told it was a quiet community. Not only was this a lie but the people around me are EXTREMELY loud and I was told that this is normal apartment noise for Atlantica. The manager also said not sure why anyone would have told you that were not allowed to say that its quiet. Well Bryan, maybe you should talk to Dillon. Not to mention the apartment was advertised at 925 but really ended up being over 1200 when signing the lease. I was told it was because they hadnt updated their website in years. I applied via the website and paid the admin fee based on the advertised price. Yet another lie. Not to mention I was supposed to move in almost a month earlier to a different building and apartment but they couldnt get it ready in time and then said they could only get a totally different apartment ready in time for me to move in. The new apartment was also not ready on time it took them half the month to get it ready even though they originally said I could move in on the 1st. Our company on base will no longer recommend these apartments and I will personally make sure that none of my people ever move here without warning. Cant wait to move out of here in less than a year.
I have been a resident for 2 years. I really like what is going on with Atlantica. We had a holiday party and it was the 1st time I really got to know my nieghbors. We actually did the photo booth contest. They have resident of the month and year which I never seen before in any other community. Its so close to the base and probably the cheapest option which is weird because it always seems like a party now that Kevin is the new manager. I renewed only for this reason. It a like night and day verses the other managers so me and my husband love it. Suggestion... a playground if possible. Otherwise we love it here.
Very nice place with beautiful apartments
I really enjoy living at Atlantica Apartments. The staff is friendly, helpful and responds to phone calls and work orders in a timely manner. Megan and Dave are great! The apartments are priced well and also upgraded which is a bonus. I would recommend living here!
Move here, ask for Kevin, and everything else will fall into place. These reviews about “the new management” are the truth! Great job to Kevin for coming into an already great place to live and making it better within 3 months. Maintenance here is amazing as well. If they aren’t at your door by the next day, something is wrong. Quiet neighbors and an awesome pool and gym are nice add ons too. For what you pay here you’re really getting much more than what you deserve! Just signed my second lease and will be signing our 3rd next year I’m sure of it.
Great complex to live and very friendly and courteous staff. Quick and efficient when issues arise. I recommend my complex to anyone looking to relocate.
Me & My Wife love it here!! Been here a couple months and have no issues at all! Management is AMAZING great friendly guy and literally helps with anything NEEDED! Love it
Terrible place to live.People can sit on their porch an smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day and thats fine, but I cant grill a couple of hotdogs for dinner because that is a fire hazard.A year or so ago our rent was raised and we were promised that with that extra money they were going to build a grilling/picnic area by the pool, a 24 hour fitness center, and a dog park. None of those projects have been completed. In the mean time there is a huge yard perfect for letting dogs play but we are not aloud to use it.The decorative perimeter fence looks horrible. It has mold growing all over it, pieces of it are broken, vines are growing up on it.There is a new rule that you cant have your dog off the leash (which that wouldnt be a problem if they would build the dog park) but until then in order to exercise your dog you need to leave the apartment complex. However, many times dogs belonging to staff members have been observed running unleashed after dark. When you are paying $1,000+/month you should have the right to grill dinner, and play with your dog without a leash. This apartment complex is absolutely terrible. I would not recommend to anybody to ever live here unless some major changes take place.
I spent 3 weeks looking for apartments in the Beaches/Atlantic Beach/ Mayport area.Every place I visited either rushed me through the process or treated me with a very boring lack of professionalism. Some agents didnt even call or email me back!! Other agents coldly texted me that the property was already rented, but made NO effort whatsoever to connect with me about possible upcoming/other properties.I became SO frustrated with the lack of professionalism! Then Bryan from Atlantica Apartments called. He was the ONLY agent that called me in a highly professional manner. What I mean by this is that Bryan responded to my initial Zillow inquiry by calling and leaving a message. The following day, he followed up in such a professional manner that wasnt pushy, but humble, so I decided to go visit the property. When I arrived and entered the office, Bryan said, Hey, welcome, are you Paula? I responded, that depends, are you Bryan? He said, Girl, lets get on the golf cart and go find your new home!I was literally STUNNED!I felt SO welcomed!!!I wasnt treated as a number!I wasnt rushed! So, we got on the golf cart and headed to view my future home! This vibe was already good, but I was shocked at what happened next! Literally shocked. What touched my heart was how Bryan treated EVERY resident as we headed to view available apartments. He literally stopped and greeted EVERY resident in his path! Warmly. Sincerely.Ive never met someone so genuine!!This was incredibly meaningful to me on multiple levels. He actively engaged with EVERY resident in his path with support, warmth, and professionalism.Once I saw this, I absolutely knew that I wanted to call this place my home.Bryan has a professional integrity that you dont see very often!Bryans approach and commitment to building the community at Atlantica Apartments is beyond genuine and professional.Im glad Im here!Home!
WHO IS THIS GUY? I have been here for 5 years and Ive never seen anything like this at least not as fast as he is doing it. I just had to meet him. Kevin is quickly changing things. We have a grill and a t.v. at the pool, and fresh paint at the entrance. I really like this new manager and hope Atlantica folks keeps up the good work.
Great, friendly place to live— especially with the new manager Kevin. He’s very professional and handles every request and need, with ease.
The management here is awesome and very customer service oriented. They really go above and beyond to take care of their residents. The apartments are very clean. The only down side to living here is there arent many children that live here because most residents are in the military, leaving my little boy with no neighborhood friends.
In helping my military friends relocate to Florida (Mayport) over the last couple of months, we toured numerous apartments, and just recently over the last two weeks the Cove, Ocean blue, and they are going to settled on the Atlantica ;). Its so close to Mayport base, which makes the commute very short, but KUDOS to the guy in the Santa hat who gave us the tour which sold us on selecting this property. The rooms are just the size and we found it was the cheapest of all the ones we visited. All that together commute, customer service and price, we got a winner! Finally!
Went there with money to move in but they required that I have employment or a letter stating that I was going to start working somewhere. I had just moved from out of state and told them that I had interviews lined up and was sure Id have a job in a week. They still required a letter even though I had the money to move in. So 2 days go by I get a job (like I told them I would) and a letter like they required. I go back with the letter and they tell me that someone else has rented the apartment. So this is now leaving me and my disabled veteran father living in a hotel. I had been in contact with the office for weeks about the apartment that was going to be coming open and timed my move accordingly. Worst moving experience to date. Bad office procedure for sure. If someone is moving 1200 miles with money to move into you should take a deposit and hold the apartment until the requirements are fulfilled....not just leave people homeless. Thanks for nothing Atlantica.
Kevin was extremely helpful when I couldn’t find my mail. Whenever I have any questions he always follows up and provides the information needed!
Do not under any circumstance rent from this community or any of their sister properties. We rented an apartment at Villas at Atlantic Beach and we very disappointed. I went 8 months with roaches in my apartment after many, many notifications to management. They assured me that they would get pest control out to take care of it and they came out one time. ONE TIME. If you have a family or care about your safety stay away. Not a single thing was done when the property manager wrote a letter about drugs being dealt on the property. Literally the worst renting experince of my life.
My experience living here was not pleasant at all. My husband and I lived at these apartments for 1 year. We are both dual military and because of the location we found these apartments very convenient getting to and from base. It turned out that these apartments were not worth the headache or money. Megan is very unprofessional and unorganized.Molly works in the office she is very nice and Dave the (maintance man) resolves issues appropriately.
This place is the best apartment complex i have ever lived in. The staff is very cooperative and easy going. Very helpful
Amazing complex the manager Brian is one of the best
Worst apartment experience I have ever had!! I was so glad when we were able to buy a home and get out of there!! The walls and floors are paper thin. We lived on the first floor and could hear everything our neighbors did above us. This included listening to domestic disputes where we called the cops because we feared for the safety of the people involved. Then after they moved out, new neighbors moved in with two huge dogs and a surround sound system. It was constant noise. We were clean, quiet, and paid our rent on time. No problems out of us. When we moved, I cleaned the apartment to their instructions. I moved applicances, cleaned cupboards, baseboards, bleached grout. And I was still charged for a cleaning fee. They also deducted from my security deposit carpet replacement due to cat urine....I can absolutely guarantee that my cat never went outside the box. They just look for ways to keep as much of your money at the end as they can. Everything in the apartments are cheaply done. They promised to give us grills since we couldn’t keep them on our patios but that never happened. The pool was mostly gross. The parking was awful! We had a hard time finding spots close to our apartments. They have no interest in making improvements that would increase the happiness of their tenants. The girls in the office are nice and usually responsive and a lot of this is beyond their control, but it speaks to the values of the ownership. I would recommend looking anywhere else.
Nice apartments, great location, fair rent, the new manager Kevin make sure all your needs are taken care of. Going on my third year of being a resident and I don’t plan on leaving.
Atlantica apartments was a great place to live and in a convenient location . The staff was friendly and they were great about correcting maintenance concerns quickly.
After living at Atlantic for a year I decided to end my lease back in March. In the beginning everything was fine. Midway through the office staff was completely changed. This was when Kevin became manager. I personally enjoyed Kevin. He, scheduled events for the residents, was timely with Maintence work, and all together very attentive. Fast forward to March 2019 a new management company takes over. I really didnt care as March was my move-out month. Of course the day before my move out comes and I go down to the office to finalize things... The office is closed. Weird since online it says theyre open on Saturdays, and for the year I lived their theyd always been open on Saturdays. The next day I see a car in front of the office and hope its someone from this new team. I knock and am told theyre closed and to just slide all my keys into the mail slot when I am done. Weird.. but ok I guess. Flash forward to about a week ago. I get my final notice from them, and for some odd reason I am not getting any of my deposit back. I call them no answer. I try again a few days later and get an answer on the 4th try. The man who answers sounds groggy like Id just woken him up. Mind you the time is 5:20pm on a Wednesday, a time where theyre clearly stated as open on many platforms. So I tell this man who I am and that I am surprised I did not receive any of my $500 deposit back. He laughs at me and starts running through a hole in the wall, the carpet was missing. These things I can understand as my roommate at the time had a golden and she ruined his carpet. We decided it would be best to simply remove the carpet. This way the complex saves a few bucks by not having to hire someone. However this man then tells me the apartment was filthy. Thats were I start questioning his integrity and if they just dont want to give me any of my deposit. I was baffled, especially since I cleaned my apartment from top to bottom and even hired a maid service to spot check me once I finished. This man told me the restrooms where filthy which is a lie because I watched as the maid cleaned both restrooms. I even checked her work. Now he catches an attitude with me and I address the lack of professionalism with this new management team. He continues to laugh at me and I bring to attention how he answered the phone as if hed just woken up. He then gives me his regional managers phone number and tells me to reach out to him. I enjoyed my stay at Atlantica, however they need to do a better job staffing people to manage their properties. If someone does not care about their job, they dont care about the work they do and it reflects badly on the company.
Staff is awesome always happy, any issues are fixed asap friendly amazing community and always feel safe ! Plus super close to work !
Nice place
Im getting sick and tired of managment leaving phoney reviews. The place is decent but the new managment sucks! So theres an honest review for ya
I WOULD RATHER DEAL WITH DRUNK PEOPLE THAN THE MANAGEMENT HERE.I love living here before until this new company took over BECOVIC MANAGEMENT GROUP! to be honest they dont have any IDEA what they are doing. they dont even deserve a star.I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE HERE. IM EVEN TRAUMATIZE TALKING TO THEM. ESPECIALLY MEGAN, AND THE MAINTENANCE GUY AND EVEN THE NEW MANAGER(MICHELLE). THEY TERRORIZE RESIDENTS RATHER THAN HELPING THEM.living here for almost 2 years I was about to move in to the same complex but different apartment number since my roommate left, this guy offered me his spare room.so to make the story short ( tho its still long) they asked for a bunch of things from me. so I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE PHILIPPINES so basically i dont have 3 recent pay stubs but they said i should have it so that i can be added to the guys lease coz i should make 3x of the rent, THE FACT THAT THE GUY IS ALREADY PAYING THE RENT BY HIMSELF AND JUST ME BEING ADDED TO THE LEASE DOESNT MAKE SENSE WHY I HAVE TO MAKE 3X OF THE RENT. So i told them a bunch of solutions i can do like my job gave me an annual income letter or me paying 3 mos uprfront rent. and they said they need monthly then i said divide the annual income by 12.they still said no. and the worst thing is I WAS TALKING TO THE LEASING AGENT named megan that just started working in the complex and in real estate industry and while i was talking to her THE MAINTENANCE GUY butt in like a pro and so theres two of them like chicken butts talking against me. GOD so unprofessional. The apartment complex have such a good potential but being run by wrong people is just worst.
No one is ever in the office, can we get Kevin back... PLEASE!!
The new owner Kevin is super helping and very interactive!
Great Apartment ComplexBeautiful Area
Once I moved out instead of sending a bill like they said they would, they sent my stuff freight to collections. While they kept my entire deposit.
I love living here
Wonderful
