We decided to get a new ac system installed in Jan of 2020 before our unit failed in the hot Florida summer heat. After calling seemingly every AC company for an estimate we settled on Elite. We repeatedly asked for a city inspection of the unit and was reassured one had been done.Fast forward to the summer of 2021... we start having issues with our brand new unit. We call several contractors out to figure out what is going on with the unit. They all said it is an issue with the air flow. A combination of the high efficiency, 5 ton air handler elite put in and the existing duct work they used which is too small. They said they way the unit is set up would certainly fail inspection.Upon contacting elite about the problem, they assured us that unit was installed right and provided us with a 2003 permit to prove that it was done correctly. Not sure why they provided us with documentation from 2003 of our unit was installed in 2020. They refused to come out without charging us a service call.We contacted the city inspectors office today and were told that Elite had us sign a document waving our right to an inspection. But the inspector told us that the waiver is only good for units under $3500. The city inspector is scheduled to come out next week. Hopefully, elite will decide to do the right thing and fix the unit before the inspector comes out. If it fails inspection we are told they will have to fix it.Living in Florida it is critical to have a properly running ac. It is sad that these ac companies know this and take advantage of consumers. It is disheartening to find out a company lied to you about an inspection being complete because they knew the unit would fail inspection if conducted.*** they repeatedly posted my 70 year old widowed mother’s address (who lives alone) on Facebook endangering her safety until I threatened with legal action to keep them from posting it again*** ***Owner responded on yelp (screenshot attached): Response: 9/28/21 because your company is a fraud. You screw old people into signing waivers so that your work is not inspected. We went to other companies because this company will not admit there is an issue. You’ve been repeatedly told about the issue. You’ve been invited to come look at the issue and correct it. Obviously we are willing to pay, if we paid other companies to verify what was wrong with the system. We aren’t willing to pay Elite AC more for something they should have done right in the first place. This company has 13 complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the company is only four or five years old. Elite AC has an open invite to come look at the system and correct the issues. The owner still hasn’t contacted us to fix the inspection issues. But he has had the time to write a reply to me on yelp. He really has no intentions of fixing anything. All his replies to everyone who has a complaint with his company is he doesn’t work for free. I am certainly not asking him to work for free, he was paid $4956.

Really enjoyed working with this company. From getting the initial quote to the finished job, they were very professional and courteous. Jordan Bailey and Daniel Johnson did our install and they were fantastic. On time, professional, good natured and very knowledgable. Got us set up with whole new system in no time. Even gave us good tips on keeping the water lines clean. Highly recommend you go with this company and when you do, ask for the dynamic duo of Mr. Johnson and Mr. Bailey. Their install game is on point (do the kids still say on point?). Only reason we gave Elite AC a 5 star is cause there aint no 6 star to give. Now back to enjoying some wonderfully cool air...

He quickly called the office and I was placed on the schedule the very next day for services that I understood I needed to clean my air conditioner and sanitize my condo.The next day, Victor and his partner arrived to do a thorough cleaning. I had them replace 2-systems in one of my rental properties in Jacksonville (duplex). They gave me an outstanding price as well as a very detailed estimate. Both permits were pulled and closed in a timely manner. The office manager Diana kept my tenants in the loop about arrival times as well as installation dates. Had Elite AC out to tune up my ac unit. I have not used this company before so decided to be with the technician the whole time. Good thing I was because I was able to figure out before the evening was over by watching YouTube videos, he overcharged my unit. I turned it off right away and emailed them. They sent his supervisor the next day. Not only did the supervisor not charge me for either service, he admitted the technician overcharged my unit, it wasnt the first time he had done this, and he wouldnt be back working for the company. I was very happily surprised he admitted his technician made a mistake... Although I think intentionally! Because first technician proceeded to tell me all the problems I would have with unit, if I didnt replace my unit that was installed a couple years ago. All problems caused by an overcharged unit. It appears supervisor released the overcharge and working well. He doesnt tell me anything is wrong. Apologizes and leaves my house. A few days later, it stops cooling. I turn it off again, in fear that trying to run it to work might ruin something. Supervisor comes back out. He releases more with same machine and says to person with him, how much freon did he put in here?! When it didnt even need any to begin with! I trust AC is working and go out of town for the weekend. I come back to my thermostat set on 77 but house is 84. I send Elite AC another email Sunday and Monday that they have yet responded to. I do have supervisor admitting his technician overcharged my system on video. I am going to make a complaint with department of business and professional regulations and Attorney General Office today. Do you have any answers on how I should proceed to get my AC fixed and hold them responsible? Thank you.

I have been having issues with my AC unit for four months already, had multiple companies come out with technicians that couldnt fix the problem. I called Elite Ac to come out and check my AC unit. They sent out a technician named Miguel. He was able to get my sistem up and running in less than an hour. He explained everything in detail and was very calm and patient while explaning to me how to maintain the system.

Mel and his partner came to clean our ducts and check the AC. Everything was done so professionally, without messes and a lot of attention to details. When Mel check out our AC unit he found that was in a very dangerous condition for our health for been an old unit. His knowledge and they way he was so helpful with us help to make the desition of getting a new unit very easy for us. He give us a price, explain all the procedure and arrange an installation just 4 days later, right there in front of us in a few minutes. We are very happy and are looking forward to our new unit.

I dealt with a service technician by the name of Marshall. What a professional! Very knowledgeable about my AC and what I needed to do to keep it running well. I asked him a million questions and I was extremely impressed how quickly he answered my questions and how knowledgeable he was. Excellent customer service and by far the best service guy I have ever dealt with. I really think he should be in management and train the other service technicians. Great job by these guys. New unit with UV filter, all new duct work in attic, added 2 vents, and the old stuff removed. Took far less time than expected, was shocked how quiet they were given what needed to be done in the attic, and they left no mess behind. Highly recommend.

I needed a new unit to replace an old dinosaur of an upstairs 4 ton unit. The tech who came out was friendly and provided a quote that was better than the other companies. Scheduling was efficient, and they came out in the next few days for the install. The installation looks good and professional (access to filter, T fitting access to clear and maintain drain line). They also installed new thermostats on the newly installed unit and an existing unit. So far, so good.A few weeks later and reviewed my power bill and the charge was wildly high. I figured out that the spike in energy usage coincided with the install. I called Elite, and person on the phone was very nice and understanding. They sent out a tech asap. The tech determined that Elite had miswired one of the thermostats so that the fan never shut off and the heat pump was on all the time (even if the AC was running). It fixed the problem but I was left with a huge bill.I presented the issue to Elite AC, and after some back and forth, we came to an amicable resolution. They admitted they made a mistake and they rectified it. Lots of companies can do good work or give you a good price, but Elite was responsive and professional with me even during this dispute. That speaks to their culture as a company.All in all, despite their error, which they fixed, I recommend this company.

We got a flyer in the mail from Elite AC. Made a appointment for Tuesday. Mark came out and diagnosed the issue and told we needed a whole new AC. On Wednesday Mark called us and said that the shipped the wrong unit and was overnight the unit and if Thursday was OK. We said sure. Mark was very professional and kind. We had to have a new A/C installed. Tom and Henry called 30 minutes before they arrived, When they got here, they gave us a timeframe of about 5 hours. They was very professional. They told us what they was going to do. Throughout the process, they kept us up to date. If we had any questions, they would answer our questions. It took Tom and Henry about 3 hours to complete the installation. After they was finished, Tom and Henry walked us through what they did. They showed us that they installed the new fan outside, the installation of the wires, the new a/c unit inside the house. They told us about the warranty on the unit, how to maintain it. Tom and Henry was did a excellent job. When I called in to pay, I told Jill how professional they was and Jill said she will pass they information on to the manager. Jill was a pleasure to talk to as well, very polite and courteous. Elite AC LLC. has great workers in this case I will call them family because Tom said he has been there 10 years and Henry 5 years, and i can tell that they enjoy working for them. 3 days after moving to my new home my AC stop working, I called multiple companies to fix it or replaced it, by far elite was the best, someone came to my home and gave me different options and even offer me a portable ac unit until installation. My only regret was not calling them first. Very satisfied with they service and will highly recommend them.

Really researched about buying and maintaining our new AC/heating system. Jordan came out today and did an awesome job with our scheduled 6 month service. These guys really know what they are doing, and they are very professional and trustworthy. In this business some companies are dangerous and would try to rip you off. Not Elite AC!

YOUR WARRANTY MEANS NOTHING!!! We purchased an $11K 10ton commercial unit from Elite AC in October of 2017. We were told the AC had a 5 year warranty on parts and 1year on labor. We recently found the condenser making a loud noise. The Fan Motor needs to be replaced. They sent a technician out to confirm the issue and the office provided a quote for repairs. The fact that we have a 5 year warranty on parts, I expected to see only labor charges. However, there was a $315 charge for Labor and a $450 charge for “processing of paperwork for warranty, Warranty Fee charged by manufacturer, warranty part pick-up, delivery and return of part to manufacturer”. I called the office to inquire about the $450 charge as the parts should be covered under our warranty. I was there was no further explanation available, that was the price for processing paperwork and picking up the parts etc. I explained that I didn’t find it fair or good business to charge these fees back to the consumer who spent $11K for a new unit with a warranty. With the $450 warranty processing fee, we’re essentially paying for the part and then some as fan motors costs $250-$350. I was told a Supervisor (Diana) would call. She never did. I’m sure that’s not a coincidence. I called the manufacturer (Daikin) myself. They said they don’t have any “Warranty Fees”. This leads me to believe that these fees were made up just to get more money out of these service calls. Needless to say we hired someone else to do the work. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF PURCHASING A NEW AC UNIT AS YOUR WARRANTY MAY NOT SAVE YOU ANY MONEY AT ALL. THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO CHARGE YOU!!! Telling any consumer, who has a warranty, that you’re charging them for “paperwork” is not good business.

I spoke with Michael regarding getting a new system and he came right out walked me through the process and the financial part and he was very professional and extremely polite. Mel and Irwin were the professionals that came to my home for some duct cleaning and blower cleaning. These men were very fast and worked swiftly through the house and cleaned up any dust that fell out of the vents. They were both very friendly and patient with my questions, going over the procedures with great detail and providing photo evidence of the before and after effects of their work. Ive been using Elite A/C for routine maintenance calls for about 2 years. The technicians have always been very informative, professional, and provide good services. Recently, Michael C. performed a routine tune up as well as a UV light installation. He went above and beyond for these--he cleaned the unit very thoroughly prior to installation and was also extremely helpful and informative about the types of things I could do to maintain the unit in the future. I recommend this company overall and also personally recommend Michael.

Called a tech out to my mobile home for a quote regarding 2 duct replacements. The tech took a couple pictures and left within a matter of 3-5 minutes and said to call the office, to schedule a day and time to have the work completed. The office was not able to access the estimate given by the tech, and I had to wait until the next day to speak to someone after being told I would be called back the same day with the issue resolved. I was able to get the work scheduled and I even payed a 25%deposit to secure the work, but was then contacted 4 hours later by elite ac, telling me they would not go forward with the work because they dont do partial ductwork and the tech is new and shouldve known we dont do that work. A complete waste of time and money.

I cant ready foy repair. But Miguel comes so fast and repair quickley. I satisfied their service.

Elite Ac is a very shady company. I bought their gold service plan that does a routine check of my ac unit. Three weeks ago we received their gold plan check up. My ac was working perfectly at the time of their so called gold plan check up. Two technicians showed up I assume, one in a T-shirt and shorts no credentials on his person as an Elite specialist, the other in proper uniform. One went inside the other, (Mr. T-shirt ) went to the outside unit. Two weeks later, my ac unit freezes up and they send out Mr. T-shirt guy, this time in proper uniform, he was questioned about the unit and acted as if he wasn’t the one whowas out here the first time. Now they are trying to charge me $700. When they came out for the Maintenance check, we asked all the proper questions, like is our Freon good, is the system running right, ect...they said everything looked good. Two weeks later we have problems with our air & Freon is almost completely empty. This company doesn’t stand by their commitments nor do they act in a professional manner. They refuse to keep their clients informed of any issues. In my opinion, they are a truly shady company. Don’t ever use them, you have been warned.

Although the new Technician, Jordan was in training today, he and his assistant perform all the maintenance checks accurately and I was able to learn from how the maintenance should be performed correctly. They provided very thorough service including all necessary test, checks, and flushed condensate line. In addition, advised necessary protection for future power surges. I would highly recommend and look forward to their next heating season check up and tune up.

Elite scheduled the routine maintenance appointment right away. Jordan called when he was on his way. He was very professional. He answered my questions politely and also took pictures of the handler and compressor to include when Elite emailed a work order and invoice. I recommend Elite and also Jordan who was pleasant and knowledgeable.

What can I say? They nailed it every time I requested their service. My first experience was to have my duct s and vents cleaned. Fantastic!! Had to purchase a new unit a few months later. Its been 1 year. I am very pleased. My system was due for maintenance, they called me to remind me, great customer record keeping. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable. I contacted Elite A/C on Wednesday and a technician came out on Thursday! My problem was one room in my house stays hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Marshal Wills (the technician) came to check things out and did a thorough job of performing an air flow check in every room of the house. He also checked the air handler unit. Marshal did not find a problem but recommended some other measures I could take to see if the problem was in the duct work. What I liked was Marshal did not pressure me into doing everything at once. He recommended that I take some time to think about doing other services and letting him know when I was ready to move forward. Marshal was very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He kept me well informed about what he was doing and why. I really like doing business with this company and highly recommend them to anyone. I will definitely use them again when I need A/C maintenance or repair!

First I want to say thanks to Rebecca! You went above and beyond trying to assist me during this ferociously hot season. U were patient, kind, and extremely customer focused. However!!!!! I was not pleased with the services rendered. No one seemed to know exactly what was wrong each time I was given a new diagnosis so basically they were treating the symptoms and not the problem. I’ve spent $540+200 only to come home to a hot home after working long hours the very next day. I’ve had my unit serviced every 6 months by Home Depot’s AC guys well the company working in homedepot asking u questions when u walk by 😂. Let me rewind a little I purchased my AC from elite ac 3 years ago and I was very pleased with the process and because of my profession I was able to let all of my clients know about the great work and money well spent I had received. Things change people change and service definitely changes. I won’t be calling back and will not refer anyone else. This experience was traumatizing, expensive, and tiresome. Do your research fellow consumers it will cost you in the end if u don’t. Warranty, parts, labor it’s all a joke. Call the manufacturers yourself before spending your hard earned money. they will tell u what your warranty entails and that way u will know if ur getting crapped or not with charges that u shouldn’t be. Thanks again Rebecca as well as Diane for getting back to me so quickly. Although I wasn’t satisfied with the work being done the attempts u made speaks volumes which is why I gave the 2 star rating!

Excellent company technician Matthew did a great job repairing my equipment happy thank you. The root cause of the problem was No Surge Projection Device Installed. Recommend this as will otherwise cause you significant Discomfort due Floridas high humidity issues.bgc

Our sons ac unit just quit working! Darrell came out and explained the problem, gave us a quote and came back out to fix it the following week. Great work, tidy and professional. Darrell was friendly and professional, he did a great job. Will definitely be using for all future hvac needs!

Mel and Erwin were AMAZING, what nice, courteous and professional men they were. They explained and showed me everything they did, and then cleaned up when they were done. I would highly recommend them and the company for anything you need done.

Excellent company to deal with, saved me close to $5,000. I called them out to give me a quote on replacing my system after another company told me my ac was shot and needed to be replaced. While the salesman was there he asked my why I wanted a replacement because he noticed my ac was only 6 years old and that it seemed to soon to replace. He then removed the cover off my air conditioner and noticed someone removed the ground wire from the system causing it to not come on. The sales person charged me nothing to hook the wire back up. I immediately signed up for their maintenance program as they will be my go to company from now on, thank you Marshal and Elite ac for saving us the money and hassle of replacing our system!
