High Recommend Cook’s Air Conditioning! I called about 10 different companies trying to get an appointment to come fix my AC that had broken and most were rude or unprofessional and had reps that didn’t show up. From the first call I had with Cook’s they were extremely professional and nice. The representative walked me through some basic things to check first to make sure whether they needed to send someone out or if it could be fixed on my own. Jerry came out the next day. He gave me a time range he would be here around and ended up coming earlier. Within the hour my AC was back up and running and he explained everything he did and some recommendations on what else I should consider in the future. I will absolutely be using them for my future AC needs!

Amazing service, highly recommended!!Our AC unit stopped working overnight and first thing Sunday morning I started calling different companies. After getting answering services promising that a technician will call me back because it was 8 am on a Sunday morning, Cook’s AC came through!Less than 5 minutes after I talked to their answering service, their technician, Mahlon Oglesby called me back and said he could be there by 10 am the same day. Mahlon was on time, professional and had our issues fixed in no time. Especially grateful because we have two little ones and the temperature outside was rising!They totally earned our business and we will continue to use Cook’s AC for any future AC issues.

I have been a Cooks customer for fifteen years. Their 24-hour service is reasonable and expedient. Before I got my new system from them five years ago, they would come at any time to fix my old system, which was not a Cooks system. They realized how ill my husband was and how vital a/c was to his health. My new system is a Cooks system; it is highly efficient and has made a substantial difference in my power bill.My latest experience involved the purchase of a system for friends who live on a limited income. Jerry worked with them to provide them with a good system at a very affordable monthly payment plan. They too have health problems and have been without a/c for weeks, having paid over $600 for repairs to old system. I was so pleased to recommend Cooks to them.

I need to let everyone know how happy l am with Cooks air conditioner. Last night my air went out. You can imagine how hot the house was. One phone call and they were here. Very polite and friendly. Did there job fast and didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. Will never call anyone else. Thank you.

Cooks Air does NOT provide local service in Jacksonville! The listing shows a St Augustine Rd address but this is simply a mailing address only. Its a private mail stop. All sales and service come out of Lake City. You very well may hear statements such as, Sorry, It dosent make good business sense to come service your unit when you want it. Find a local company instead. Youll be happier. I wish I had searched locally.

Just want to pass on my thanks to Cooks and Aaron for responding yesterday to our AC being out in our Gainesville home. Aaron was booked solid with other work but kept us informed of the changes to his ETA to fix our unit. He arrived around 12:30 last night and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in short order. Really appreciate him working into the wee hours to save us from a hot sleepless night.

Jerry was great, he told me everything that was wrong and possible and future repairs that may be necessary. Did not take long at all for the repair, definitely went above and beyond. I will be using them again.

Got a call back super quick! Did repairs at the same time and got the a.c. working that afternoon!

Promised me the system will be quieter than my 20 year old system and its actually louder. Very disappointed. After we canceled a water system in time the charged our card anyways and we had to call the bank and make the bank take it off. The installers were super nice but did not bring all the components and had to come back again the next day even after telling us that the installation will take only one day to install. They didnt pull the permit to do the job so we had to call the city to have them come out inspect the installation. Service people dont reset the thermostats so you have to look it up yourself or call them to get instructions over the phone. Prices seem a bit high but we had to do it and didnt have time to shop around. They will tell you that trane has trouble getting parts and it take 2-3 weeks for the parts to get in which is not true because other companies told me that its a sales tactics to sell you their brand.I would never buy from them again

So grateful for cooks air conditioning we have been without ac for 2 days not able to get anyone out and they came right out got us fixed up in a hurry for a great price! Thank you Cooks!
