Cost $2300 LABOR to replace a Condenser Coil (that was WITH coil warranty after same coil broke last year...huh) They put in two large AC units for me and I would NEVER use this company again.. Very expensive units somehow need repair every year. This company is not that good and is too expensive. Recommend: Go elsewhere and ALWAYS ask price before they arrive (450 dollar fee to leak check!).

Third time using business. Each time technicians called office needing assistance in completing repair. On most recent call, business wanted $1195. to replace compressor fan motor. Al, at office, refused to identify part by number, discuss cost of part, or detail his arrival at total repair cost. Declined the repair and paid diagnostic fee; then called another business to have exact repair completed for $500. less within 2 hours. Will not use this business again.

I called on a Sunday morning about water leaking out of my air handler and running into the house. The company took the call and had a technician at our house about an hour later. Jalal was the tech and did a great job identifying and fixing the problem. He was very knowledgeable and courteous.

I called Abaco and within 20 minutes I had a tech at my house. He was very friendly and wore PPE. He did a check of my unit and it was the compressor. Price was reasonable. I liked that he showed me on volt meter the battery capacity as proof. Everything was fixed in 30 minutes. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Had them fix a compressor last year, then they contacted me about a system check. Quoted me 149 and I figured that was fair to tell me if I had any issues. Morning of the check up and I get a text. Since I have multiple units each one will cost me 149. This was 40 minutes before my appointment and I didn’t contact them. So they already knew I had multiple units and waited till right before my appointment to change the price. If you book them, have your checkbook ready.

Called Abaco when our AC stopped working one Saturday morning. They told us it would be $225 for the repair. The part they were replacing is cheap, but we knew we were paying for the service and for them to be out on a Saturday morning. After writing the check he came back and told us it would be another $150. $375 for a $25 part and 30 minutes of work seems ridiculous in my opinion. Then they took 3 weeks to even deposit the checks. Not a great experience.

Fantastic company!!!!I can’t say enough how impressed I am with this company. My heater went out in the the middle of the night, so I called them at 7:30am to book a visit. I expected to get an answering service, but someone actually answered the phone instead. The person ended up being the OWNER of the company (Al). He was very friendly and said he would come by shortly. He and his tech (Jalal) came by and explained all of the options available to be along with how their expert installation experience and techniques would make a huge difference.After receiving multiple quotes from other vendors, I ended up going with Abaco. When looking for someone to do a service call I went by other Google reviews. I called Abaco and Jahlal came out to see why my air was warm. Turns out a broken coil in the outside unit. Our AC was 26 years old and it was time for its maiden voyage. They were honest with what we needed and Al went over each and every unit that Trane offered and prices. They were not pushy with any certain unit, but let us pick what was right for our finances, housing size, and comfortable lifestyle. Each time they said they would be at the home they were on time and only took 4 hours to remove and install inside and outside unit. After installation he went over how to do maintenance and the thermostat. If we need any further service calls we will definitely be calling Abaco back. A week or so ago I had an ecobee4 thermostat installed by John. He was on time, called me to keep me aware of his ETA. when he came to my door he politely introduced himself, put on shoe coverings each and every time he entered my house. He installed this device quickly and professionally . He did and excellent job and is an excellent representative of your company. If all employees are like John, I highly recommend them.

My A/C went out at 8pm on a Sunday, It was really hot in the house and I did not want to wait until Monday.I called Abaco Air and the technician was there within an hour or so.The technician was friendly and explained the repairs and future maintenance for the unit. I was pleased over all and very glad that they we able to fix it on a Sunday.

Friendly, professional, polite, knowledgeable, hard working crew. They responded quickly and efficiently to one of those emergency AC calls (you never know when your AC is going to refuse to do its job). One of our vent pipes (original to the home built in 1980) in the attic split open and was cooling the attic instead of the inside of our house. The crew accessed the situation, informed me of the next steps and cost. The parts were delivered to my home in a flash and repairs were done immediately! While they were here they also checked the outside heat pump, the inside unit and flushed the the system at no additional charge. The thing I liked best - every time they entered my home they would put slippers over their shoes. They were respectful of my property, took all the used parts with them, swept up and made sure not a single piece of trash was left behind. (and....... they liked our dog)

We were experiencing intermittent outages of our AC... today was one of those feel-like 105 days. We called around 11 AM to inquire about a diagnostic test. We were pleased that Abaco could send Jalal to our house around 2:30... very quick! We received 2 calls from Jalal letting us know his progress before his arrival. He is a polite and very professional man who made it easy for us to understand the issues we were having. He fixed those issues and educated us on precautions we should take to extend the life of our 12 year old system. We all want someone we can trust, particularly when it is an issue we may not have much knowledge of... so we highly recommend this company.

Al from Abaco exceeded all expectations for repair of our residential AC system! I called at 4:30am to advise of the problem, he arrived at 6:30am (at my request, as their normal business hours start at 6:00am), quickly diagnosed the issue (dysfunctional blower motor and electrical panel, both still under warranty), called me twice throughout the day with updates on sourcing for the parts and arrival time back at the house for installation. They are professional, nice, and got here on time to look at my ac unit. Their pricing is pretty high it was $90 to have them come out and look at the unit which is fine, but $190 to replace a $40 ac compressor. I get companies have to make money but $270 to replace a $40 part is a little much.

Ali and his team of technicians were on time, professional, methodical and efficient. The new Trane XR 16 unit were installed rather quickly. Chuck was busy in the attic adding duck work for the second return. Jalal did a great job installing the unit outside, in the back yard and making sure the unit is bolted to meet hurricane required standards. All arrangement were made for inspection as requested and inspectors arrived as per communication from the Abaco Air Experts office and passed the inspections with flying colors. All and all very pleasant experience, the team was friendly and answered questions politely. Last night I noticed that my house was getting warmer as the air conditioner continually ran. Having used Abaco in the past I did not think twice about who to call. I called Al at Abaco at about 11:00 p.m. I talked with Al for a few minutes and he reassured me that he would get here as soon as he possibly could.This morning Al called and told me he was on his way, within 30 minutes he was at the door and ready to figure out and repair the problem.It turned out to be a capacitor. This may not seem like a big deal to some but think about what you know about a/c units, odds are like me you dont too much about these systems.Al could have told me anything and I would have accepted his opinion, but Al was very truthful and fixed the problem in no time at all.If you or anyone you know needs a/c work done, do yourself a favor and call Abaco. they are the most honest and reliable people I have ever dealt with. OK last night it was really cold and when I get home at 4:58 pm my thermostat is blank...no nothing. I call Abaco and 30 minutes later Al the owner shows up. Its a wire to my heat strips that fried. 10 minutes he has it fixed and the heat is back on. From my initial call in to Al leaving my house was less than 60 minutes....!!!! Great service. Came home from vacation today July 20th at 4:30PM and the air was out. House was 89 degrees. Went online and saw this company had 4.9 starts with 94 reviews. The two lowest reviews were about pricing not about workmanship or professionalism. We called at 5:32PM and they dispatched a repairman who arrived at called me at 6:20PM that he was 20 minutes out. Finished at 7:46PM and the system is working well. It costs me $149 for an emergency call on a Saturday night with one hour service level and $239 for the capacitor. The average online was between $120 to $150 and branded ones (I have a Carrier) as high as $400. Another contractor post HVAC contractors are going to book rates - flat rate for a given job (with or without parts), commonly around $200-250 for this type of replacement. Their price was in line with everything I could find online. His employee was excellent and explained everything to us. Remember sometimes the cheapest isnt the best and ends up costing more in the long run. They checked the motor and freon level and gave me an honest assessment. He told me they both checked out fine. There is a lot to say about someones integrity, honor and professionalism that you could not put a dollar number on. Excellent job and I would never hesitate calling them again and again.

I asked Abaco Air Experts to come in and look my 2-stage Trane system I had installed 2 years ago. I just had my suspicions something was not right... no concrete evidence, just clues and impressions the installer gave me.And Abaco Air confirmed my gut feeling -- the unit was connected in a way where it was running only at half-efficiency! Abaco Air checked the vitals, connected the air handler properly and I feel very confident moving into the warmer months! Ill be calling Abaco Air back for regular season maintenance. Thanks!!

Contact and Abaco air experts because I was having trouble installing an Ecobee smart thermostat. They were one of only two HVAC companies in the area that Ecobee recommends for expert installation of their product. I have had dealings with the other before and did not want to use them again. Al responded back to me on a Sunday less than 24 hours after my request. He was able to squeeze me in the next day which was New Year’s Eve. When he arrived he was able to find the short in the wiring quickly and before I knew it, the Ecobee was installed and ready to go. I will absolutely use them again.
