For the most part very quiet and in a nice area with schools close by. Non smoking property. The units themselves are decent sized but a bit older. The unit I stayed in was slightly yet very noticeably uneven floor in one of the bedrooms from what I’m guessing is the foundation shifting. All of my leasing info was done online and I never saw my unit before getting my keys based on working a busy schedule that had me out of state. Super easy process and the woman, Karla, I dealt with was kind and quick to communicate. Once I came to get keys I had to ask the gentlemen in the office where the unit was before being sent on my way lol!! Still learning the ropes of the property, I would suggest a welcome packet with all of the property information like hours of the pool, gym, and where to take your trash and recycling. (I don’t like valet trash I take my mine out when it needs to go out lol!! Lastly in only a matter of 16 short days my car was broken into. (Luckily not a huge loss more of just the discomfort of knowing a creep was in my car). This is simply a fact of my encounter but obviously no reflection of the office/staff!All in all very quiet, clean and seemingly nice neighborhood/neighbors. Can not think of one time being inside my unit and hearing people outside or from other units! Even with the minor flaws I would feel safe and comfortable at these apartments! One more big plus for parents of school aged kiddos, is you are in CFB schools not ISD!!Edit/updateAfter a handful of sleepless nights of parking lot watch, I really do not see any suspicious activities or anything of concern, I parked in a more lit area now where I can easily see my vehicle and no other issues, issue solved!Put in a maintenance request for my blinds and a few other things I wanted done, and OMG when I say quick response it was quick!!! Like within 24 hours, I figured a few days because of the complex size. But super quick, professional and courteous response!!!Also as I am still getting more comfortable and familiar with the property I do admit I think it’s pretty great!! Still can’t hear any noise from neighbors from my unit (I’m new to apartment living so this was a concern of mine before moving in)Pool and property in general very clean all the time!
The maintenance guy Brent is absolutely incredible. This man is an electrician, plumber, and carpenter all in one. Every problem I’ve had has been fixed within 24 hours. 5/5 solely because Brent is unmatched to any other property I’ve stayed with. Brent deserves a raise.
Thanks KarlaVery Friendly Staff and welcoming. Loved the greenery in community.🤗Resonable prices definitely a thing to point out. Joining these awesome place this week.
The lease signing and move in process was made very easy with assistance from the leasing office staff. Very helpful and friendly staff
Great apartments, Wonderful rental prices and Incredible employees working in both maintenance and management. I couldnt imagine living anywhere else besides here.If youre looking for not just a place to rent but instead for a place to call home - then MacArthur Ridge Apartments is the place for you.The manager Mr. Jose is awesome. His is always so helpful and prompt. The residents here are his top priority here. The two maintenance men, Mr. Brent & Mr. Willfredo are exceptional men who always make sure their jobs are done right - the first time. They both always have smiles on their faces and take pride in the work they do for this property. They are definitely part of what makes living here at MacArthur Ridge different from all the other apartments around here.I definitely recommend this property above all others not only in the state of Texas but in Valley Ranch.
My Unit has been leaking since the day I was initially supposed to move in and I pushed my move in day back because the leak the office told me the problem was solve and it was not it leaked 4 times in ONE MONTH they even had the maintenance supervisor supposedly and the problem still was not resolved I’ve been here since June the 12th and the leaks are still a problem and the bugs are even worse even though i called for pest control and they never came. If i could give them a 0 rating I would if i could get my money and time back I would worst decision to move here.
Horrible place, walls are extremely thin and can never get any sleep. Management moves people in who never respect policies. Upstairs tenant are loud, purposefully create loud noise from midnight to 5 am. I am unable to sleep or getting any help from Management and my health is greatly affected. This is beyond horrible. People are clearly allowed to cause problems and nothing is done. I havent been able to sleep for the past two weeks!!!!!!!! Do you want this to be your life!!!!
Honestly the apartments great and the staffs very helpful however I wish you guys would do something about the parking spots. Most of the parking spots closer to ones unit have been overtaken by non residents. How about handing out parking tags to residents whom should undoubtedly be your topmost priority?? Thanks!
Like some of the reviews on here, Ive also had experience of Jose the manager being quite rude. I spoke with him on the phone regarding a concern I had and he was quite condescending and unkind considering how professional I tried to be. The grounds are also a hit or miss regarding how well kept they are - the trees shed a ton of leaves and such in the fall and up until VERY recently our area of the complex was quite neglected (to the point I couldnt even see the parking lines it was so filled with leaf litter!) before my husband called to complain and get it corrected. Our units hallways were filled with huge clumps of tree debris and after a few weeks of seeing it, I got so tired of looking at it all that I just ended up sweeping them (and my neighbors hallways) myself. Yikes.
I dont live here
Very Friendly Staff and welcoming. Loved the greenery in community.Resonable prices definitely a thing to point out. Joining these awesome place this week. Looking forward to create wonderful memories.
Jose the property manager is RUDE!!! I SCHEDULED an appointment to view the property and the agents were not there the remaining part of the day. My appointment was set for 3:30 I waited until 4pm and still nobody showed up to give me the tour. The property looks outdated and with the staff acting like this as a prospect it seems like I lucked up by no being able to rent at this location. Attached is the way he spoke with me via email I can only imagine how he speaks to the residents. Regional # listed below if you have the same issue from him!
Lived here for 2 years. The maintenance staff is great. However the front office staff employ those who attempt to take your money in any way possible. The apartment complex increased the rent by 18% from my first to my second year without valid reason. There were zero updates to the complex, I stayed in the same unit and had to pay 18% more.My move-out was filled with complications. They send you one slip of paper and no phone calls as a reminder. They forced me to pay for an extra month of residence even though I had made my intent to move out clear 5 months previously. The front office folks are cold and are only there to take a paycheck and go home. There is zero interest in the residents of the apartment and the fake niceties they exude every time I step into the office makes me hesitate to go in there and speak to them.An organization that does not care about its consumers are doomed to fail.
Our move in with MacArthur apartments was smooth. Karla is amazing. She supported our change of apartments before moving in without making a fuss and patiently answered all our questions. We saw the apartment first time while moving in only but It was in good shape. Although we did have few maintenance requests but they were taken care of on same day.But the other assistant who sits at the reception doesn’t know anything and her favorite answer to all the question is I know nothing abt that so I won’t be able to help you.
We had a tour today with Alexis (I think, my apologies if I didn’t get the name correct) and was blown away by the beauty of the grounds (so many trees and great shade - perfect for Texas summers!!!) and how well-kept the units are!My husband got stung by a wasp when we toured a unit’s patio, she had a friendly maintenance person there to take care of it within 2 minutes!I’ve seen a lot of apartments with badly kept vacant units - sticky drawers, not clean, broken things, dead bugs, trash everywhere, etc. Was pleasantly shocked to see how beautifully well kept vacant units are and hearing how pest control is used even on vacant units once a week!!Alexis impressed both my husband and I with her knowledge (she had a quick answer for every one!) and how quickly she was able to help us and provide us with everything we needed. I could tell she takes pride in this complex and that in itself is a selling point for us.Hope to be tenants soon!! :)
Very Good Apartments with very good management staff.Karla is so responsive and responsible to listen to your issues and get them fix on priority. The two maintenance men, Mr. Brent & Mr. Willfredo are exceptional men who always make sure their jobs are done right - the first time.
Neighborhood is good and not much noise. Maintenance staff is good and they turn quickly on issues but they dont fix all . I requested counter top wall paper (thumb size paper came out) repair but they dont fix it and charged 100 dollars when I left the apartment. Same in bath room too for small scratch on counter top, they charged 60 dollars. I dont have pets but they charged cleaning charges of 140 dollars..i suggest to make it repair all issues before you vacate apartment to avoid huge fees..
The apartments are beautiful, I was looking to move quickly and heard of these apartments thru a friend. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to tour, but I sat down with Alexis, and she was very patient and kind! I felt at home immediately, I can’t wait to come back and tour with her!!
This place is a JOKE. Office staff is none helpful and are very unprofessional. But what do you expect from Ratchet employees. The maintenance staff is awesome though. Can’t wait till my lease is over, only had one week to find a place to live after relocating from KC.
After experiencing such a great loss, the staff at MacArthur Ridge was the best staff getting me into a new apartment out of all the apartments I had visited through out the process. They are friendly and make you comfortable considering searching for apartments can be very tedious and stressful. I am grateful for their help and will recommend them for sure, freshly baked cookies provided daily give them a try.
Brent, a member of the maintenance staff, is so amazing! I’m leaving this review solely for him. Every interaction I’ve had with Brent he’s been so incredibly friendly and professional. He goes out of his way to make sure your maintenance issue is taken care of. He’s such a treasure, and I hope the company knows it!
I added my bank account for rent payments and made a payment. Even though I got to the confirmation screen and all that, it never made it through. The first I was notified of this was a notice stuck to my door that Id accrued a $50 bad payment fee and a $75 late fee. I looked back at the payment site and found that my bank had been removed from my payment accounts and I didnt have any option to add it back. All I could do was add a credit card, and that adds another $35 convenience fee. So now I have to pay $160 more than I should because they removed the bank option on the portal. This is absurd and should be criminal. I absolutely will NOT be renewing my lease, and Ill make sure to steer my friends and family away from this place.
I like the apartments here, they are really nice and the maintenance is also excellent. The staff was really helpful and kind. I also like the environment around.Alexis was very nice.
Ok
I was extremely satisfied with my visit to MacArthur Ridge. The apartments were well kept and our tour guide was very friendly, outgoing, and resourceful. She answered all of my questions regarding leasing information and made my experience all the more enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet, the units are clean, and the price is fantastic! Cant wait to live here!
My wife and I recently moved here last month and could not be happier! The staff (Alexis and Jose specifically) are outstanding! Alexis was very helpful during our application process and kept us posted every step of the way. Not to mention to get approved and moved in took a week and a half in total! The maintenance team work hard and efficiently. We highly recommend living here! Our apartment is gorgeous, updated and very quiet!
I have been living here more than a year and maintenance is very good here. And also the environment of community is completely green. You will always feel fresh here.
My husband and I called to get general information about your property! The girl that answered the phone was so rude and unprofessional! We were interested in touring property and putting in an application, but with the way the young lady treated us y’all definitely lost our business! 👎🏻
I moved in recently and I am very happy with the place. Reasonable price with good amenities. I love the spacious patio and large, well ventilated living room. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet and serene environment. Overall good experience.
Easy to work with and very friendly staff.Property seems to be well cared for. Theres no trash in the parking lot. And the lawn is trimmed. Great area around the complex as well.Looking forward to the next year here.
Karla was wonderful. She helped me with the application process. I got it done the same day I tour my apartment.
My husband and I went to get a tour of the apartments and we had a wonderful experience. We were attended by a very nice lady named Carla very attentive service
Looking for apartments are time consuming and difficult especially when you have a short amount of time to do it due life altering encounters. The Staff at MacArthur Ridge has been helpful and cooperative through out the process of finding an apart suitable for us and I am grateful for their professionalism and would recommend them to anyone looking for new home.
Over the last week and a half, I engaged with staff as a prospective tenant. My experience has been pleasant and found the staff responsive (in person as well as to my emails) to my inquiries inclusive of the application and move-in process. The grounds upkeep is well done and my newly rented apartment balcony provides a great view of the swimming pool area.
The staff was very helpful and kind. The apartment complex is well kept and very clean. The apartments are in a great location. And to top it off its for a great price! I love the fact that the apartments provide a washer and dryer. And I just love the fireplace.
Very nice apartment at a decent price, quiet area. Cynthia and Sabrina were very helpful and friendly, I applied and was approved same day. I love the size of the one bedroom and the patio. The ceiling are higher on the 3rd floor, it make the place looks bigger. So far Im loving everything about this place.
Good place to live hands down. Units are spacious with large balcony/patio and bathroom.Nice, clean and roach free. One of the few apartments with no roaches at all. The location is good too for getting around. Walmart, convenience stores, gas stations are all nearby. Nicely priced and last but not the least it provides washer/dryer in most units (not all) which is an additional benefit.
I have been hunting for apartments in Irving, TX for around 3-4 days. It was a hectic task altogether but after visiting Mac Arthur Ridge, it was easy and hassle free. Process is transparent, apartment management is giving us more options based on the availability and they have also shown us the actual units which helped me to decide faster and move-in. Special Thanks to Jose, Cynthia & Sabrina.
We moved here last week and i must admit, its a great place to stay. Move-in process was really smooth for us. Staff is very friendly and answered all our questions with patience. Overall pleasant experience so far.
I was a pleasant experience to tour the MacArthur Ridge apartments. Calm and quite place with lots tress and greenery all around, which i liked the most. Apartments are spacious aswell compared to the other nearby ones in that area. Friendly and responsive management.
We have just moved to MacArthur ridge apartments, it was an easy process to apply and book the apartment. Whereas the leasing staff, Karla was so generous in dealing us throughout all the stuff. We started loving our new place!
I have been there to check apartments and the service there was outstanding and helped me in every way I needed...I liked the apartments over there...
My husband and I have been apartment hunting for almost a month now and after several disappointments from other complexes in the area, Sabrina helped us find our home at Macarthur Ridge. She was extremely helpful through the whole process and put up with all of our calls and questions, she took us on a lovely tour, and worked with us to find a unit that has everything we were looking for. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and helping us to find our first home together!
I have been searching for a good community with good price, then I heard it from a friend about MacArthur Ridge. I really liked the apartment and its well maintained. The staffs were really nice and kind . They helped us through out the booking process. I am looking forward to move in. Thank you.
This is a nice property. Just moved in and everything is in working order. Very spacious layout with a nice patio. Lots of tress and well kept grounds. This is a great location in Irving. Jose has been helpful in a smooth move in
Every visit to MacArthur Ridge has been great. I ran into a issue that i couldnt resolve and Sabrina R helped me until completion. All the staff has been great. I am looking forward to moving to this community. Thanks again Sabrina
We have lived here 3+ years so far. We started out in the 1 bedroom, moving into the 2 bedroom recently. Over the years we have gotten to know the staff as they have changed positions throughout. I cant find any complaints that management and the staff didnt take care of promptly. We grew into a family at this complex and look forward to more years to come. Yes, they are doing maintenance on the buildings one by one, but how else can you expect property improvements. I, for one, look forward to seeing the property being updated.
Clean place. Quick response for maintenance requests. Kind and friendly staff. Calm and quiet. stores and makets around. Multiple parks near to the apartment. Church and schools at walkable distance.
Best community..!!I got apartment here in good price. Its very near to essential places like Walmart Indian stores and above all most apartments have amenities like washer and drier included in rent. Very friendly staff and they keep apartments/community well maintained..
It was great service from Karla, she was great and very kind! The tour was great
I moved in last week in the community. Apartment is great value for the money and the move in process/lease and everything was very smooth and easy. Property is filled with lot of trees and grills everywhere. I had few issues with my fridge and disposal, but the management replaced them within 1 day and the service team is very responsive and fast. Overall i am satisfied moving in here!!!
The entire moving process was pretty straightforward. We were shown the model apartment however once we got our actual apartment their were several things that were different from the model which we were told was the exact same as the apt we were signing the lease for. Other than that we are pretty happy with the entire process and our apartment.
The appliances are outdated and they charge you 75$ a month to upgrade, my apartment flooded from a broken dishwasher and when it rained my apartment soaked with water, the manager is very non chalant and is very unhelpful. The one plus is the maintenance guys they are great. Am still waiting for my daughters closet to be fixed, there’s a fan in there and the carpet is still torn out . It smells moldy I can’t even let her sleep in there, this is just crazy
I love Macarthur Ridge apartments because It is a nice community. It is clean, beautiful and people from the office are very nice. I feel very comfortable. The property manager is very nice and kind. I am happy because all the stores are close.Nubia HernandezApt 362
This is really worst community to live in. Their AC/Heatre always breaks every week. They dont have even valid answer for that breaking always. It took maintenance guys 3 months (by the time summer was over)to fix cooling system and in winter heating system broken and they still have no idea whats going on. Leasing office front desk girl also does not understand complaints properly and closes request. I used to stay in Bay Area and I never had to file two complaints for same issue. I wish these guys knew what is their job.
Just moved in 5/16/18. The process was easy. The staff have been very polite and friendly with answering all of my silly questions. Theres plenty of parking avaliable for you and visitors. My neighbors are really nice. Seems like a wholesome community. I can tell my apartment was previously well loved, but it is still really cute. So far the only issue is my ceiling fan is making a lot of clunking noises, but I plan to talk to the office about it Monday. Based off so many positive reviews, I cant imagine them ignoring my request to get it fixed.
Worst apt in the world to live in. I will rather rent a place by the road side than to live for free in MacArthur Ridge Apt.Thank God there are lawyers and consumer protection.Landlord Must Refund or Explain Within 30 DaysYour security deposit must be refunded to you within 30 days after youmove out of the apartment or house, if you provided a written forwardingaddress to your landlord. Lived here for 2 1/2 years and just moved out in February. Quiet, lots of trees, very safe neighborhood and proximity to shopping centers. Every one from the Management, Sabirna, Jose - were very helpful and the Wilfrado always ready make the necessary fixes for any work order. Me and my wife had an awesome stay here.
Just went on a tour with Cynthia (assistant manager), and then filled out an application. She was very polite and courteous. She was knowledgeable about the property and explained all the steps involved with the application process, including all fees. I am excited about joining the apartment complex.
I have been looking for good price and nice place to live then I heard it from a friend about MacArthur Ridge. I really liked the apartment . The staffs were really nice and friendly . Definitely I will get the apartment.
MacArhtur Ridge makes it easy to move in and they cash in the big bucks when you move out. We moved to an upgraded 4th floor unit. While moving out, they laid a $700 dollar fee to replace the carpet for a few small stains from a small animal ( not a dog nor cat). They tried to hide the fact that they can offer a prorated option but instead are expecting you to fork over a months worth of rent. On top of that, during our first year, the young girl at the front desk outright encouraged me to take photos of other tenants who put out the trash for trash collection on the wrong days, Ha! as if. I gave it two starts for the amazing staff who fixed things in the apartment in a fast and timely manner and for the great location.
The apartment was clean, the pool is nice, the maintenance team is terrific but the office staff is very unfriendly. They practically roll their eyes when you walk in the door and do not do a good job helping out.We lived here for 6 months while house hunting and although our stay was uneventful, moving out has been an ongoing nightmare. We followed every policy and guideline and have been met with so many problems. A final rent bill was not given to us before paying our last rent. We were given an estimated amount to pay or face late fees and then a final bill was issued after we left. We have 2 dogs that the apartment staff was aware of and we paid 2 deposits but we are being hassled to pay $600 for cleaning and carpet replacement (2 services that should be standard before a new tenant moves in) due to the pet odor. Working with the office staff is extremely frustrating. I reached out to their Resident Relations office a week ago but nobody has gotten back to me.Overall, the hassle of leaving (which other reviewers have recently mentioned) is not worth it for this run of the mill, average apartment especially if you are a dog owner or plan to stay short term.
We just moved out of MacArthur Ridge Apartments after buying a home and hadnt lived in an apartment in over 20 years so didnt realize that the lease we had signed required to give us a 60 day written notice (we thought it was only a 30 day notice). When we asked to speak with the new manger Nicole she was able to help us by leasing the apartment to someone else and it saved us about 3 weeks rent.
The location is ideal and the complex is fairly quiet, but thats about it.1) Ive lived here since January, and in just the first couple of months, I had to have a leaky dishwasher replaced, along with the fridge that went out at midnight.2) The day I moved in, I was told that someone was going to replace a structure problem on the patio, but that never happened.3) The AC started leaking and I was told that a part might need to be replaced, but no one ever came to do that.4) There is a leak under the kitchen sink, along with a completely tilted foundation, and again I was told that someone would come fix it, but that never happened.5) I had to run the dryer 5 times before the clothes were dry, and when I asked maintenance to figure it out, all they did was change the dryer vent. Didnt work. I also asked them to check the washer, which is giving a musty smell to the clothes, and they didnt check it. My clothes are not being washed OR dried properly!Overall I would not recommend this property. I am extremely disappointed and would have chosen another apartment complex in the same area.
Im living at MacArthur Ridge for a little around 2 months now and for me and my family its been a very pleasant stay...I really think i made very good choice to move-in here, feels safe, staff is friendly and always ready to help. Sabrina Romero always been there to help, ever since I started my application. She is really caring about the residents. All Staff are very nice & helpful. Maintenance is of super quality! I faced some problems recently due to some water pipe broke down, Maintenance team was very proactive to help and resolving things in no-time, So far its going awesome and i believe experience here will be outstanding. I really recommend this property, specially to someone who is new to the locality and want to live hassle free life.
Very Nice place to stay. The location is good too for getting around. Walmart, convenience stores, gas stations are all nearby. Nicely priced and last but not the least it provides washer/dryer in most units (not all) which is an additional benefit.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and well kept apartments. Nice neighborhood. I would highly recommend checking out these apartments. ML Heckman
This is a great complex. I had a problem with my fridge and the new property manager personally came to my apartment and spent about an hour with me to figure out what was wrong. Eventually, he replaced the entire fridge. Quiet area. My neighbors are respectful. Very satisfied.
I loved my apartment, Price is fair. Beautifully maintained place. Maintenance is on the ball. Quiet and tranquil. Love it.
This apartment complex, while not perfect, is very comfortable, safe, quiet and has a strong office staff.Edit (10/24/2017): Beware. Lately the office staff has become difficult to work with and even harder to reach. They always seem to be understaffed and never actually get around to dealing with issues.
I moved in last December and so far the apartment is good, no major problems except for few minor problems with the fixtures and plumbing in the apartment.. could improve the service by the front desk people, the guy who welcomed us was not very pleasing..........One other thingthe apartment property had a special offer going on when I signed the lease and that is if I write a review about their apartment they will give the application fee back......ConsFor using the community gym on non business hours of the leasing office they are charging us 25$ which I have never heard of.........
I moved in last weekend, and chose MacArthur Ridge specifically because the online reviews were so positive -- and I havent been disappointed. Jose the property manager, Cynthia the assistant, and Sabina the leasing consultant have all made my move-in smooth and community life enjoyable. They have great communication, answer questions and concerns promptly, and the property is kept in good condition. At the back of the property where my unit is, a few of the residents leave trash lying out over the weekends, which is a nuisance, but during the week, the maintenance staff works to keep those incidents to a minimum. The property is also next to a densley wooded area with a creek, so the mosquito population is a little out of control, but thats to be expected during a hot & humid Texas summer. All in all, its a great place to live, and Im happy I chose to move in. :)
I have to say I am totally happy and excited to have found this property. We worked with Sabrina and the manager Cynthia. Thank you for your professionalism.
Nice location with lot of trees but not much of free space ..
I came in to look for an apartment today. Sabrina was a great help and showed me a nice apartment and all of the specials going on. They had better deals than the surrounding apartment complexes that I viewed today. My husband and I put in an application and are hoping to be approved soon!
We are moving here today actually! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good rates for apartments. Love the floorplans!
Very helpful in working with me, especially because I moved from Houston. They were able to answer all my questions no problem and were very accommodating.
Initially, we moved to this apartment and were happy with the experience. The place is nice, quiet and clean except that the carpet had few stains. Well maintained and calm area. Walmart and major convenience stores are easily accessible. We were charged nearly $400 for cleaning at the time of move-out. We didnt get new carpets when we moved in. When I reported this to the manager, he verbally ensured that we didnt have to pay for new carpets at the time of move-in. The same person asked for an email on what he said about the carpet, when I was charged for new carpets at the time of move-out. The apartment community had a lot of pros, but the excessive move-out and cleaning charges were very much exploitative.
The leasing process was quick and easy! The staff is friendly, and the apartments are great. -also maintenance requests get handled really quick.
I had to give 1 star because there is nothing less than that.1. Worst people you could see in the leasing office, Jose is their manager who could potentially stop their business with his attitude towards the clients.2. Old apartment and the noise level from top floor is same as any other old apartments, no complaints.3. Response from leasing office to your queries is pretty average.4. Stay out of this place if you dont feel like looted and cheated like I am feeling right now.If anyone think this was a bit harsh, they really deserve it. Stay out of this place for your peace of mind.
Excellent
The 1st year was really great, peaceful, quiet great office, etc staff, etc... but something has changed with the level of service and the staff basically were ready to relocate...
We live there for five years. We recently moved to a different part of DFW due to location. We enjoyed our time here. The apartment was perfect for our needs, the office and maintenance staff were always helpful and friendly. The community is quiet and well maintained. We would definately recommend this property.
We stayed here for 4 years and had a wonderful experience. Maintenance is quick and fixed it within 24 hours (or less more often). Kudos to the management and maintenance teams at this apartment complex.
Be Aware!!!!I vacated the apartment on 31st December and returned keys to the leasing officemanagement a month before my lease ends. I made sure that all the switches in the house are off and no appliances were working before leaving the house. After a couple of weeks I see my electricity usage is constant and low for first 9 days and then suddenly I see the usage increased drastically for next week. As I have already left the apartment only the people who had access to the apartment were the leasing management. On the other hand I called my electricity company and cross checked the electricity usage. There I come to know the electricity bill for the month of January is $100 which I never had even when I lived in the apartment. My average monthly bill was $50.This clearly implies that someone from the leasing management went inside my apartment and used some high power consumption machines or left some switch on like heater. When I called the leasing management to discuss the problem instead of helping me they were so rude and not ready to listen my problem. I did several emails conversation attaching the electricity usage screenshots but all in vain. The management is worse here, instead of listening to the problem and solving they said they are not going to help.I had to pay the bill which they are responsible for.Such a rude and pathetic management. I would never ever recommend anyone for this community. It’s the worst.
I moved in a week ago and so far am very happy. The place is clean and quiet. The staff handled my maintenance requests quickly. I moved here because of the quiet neighborhood, relatively low rent, and non-smoking environment. There is always parking and the parking is free. However, the kitchen needs updating and the cabinets are very dark. I plan to buy lights to place in cabinets and pantry. I was told I would receive a refund for my application for my online review.5/23/17Update: I am very disappointed in this property. My ground level unit had a rodent problem and now has a foul odor coming from the vents. Maintenance patched the holes found behind my fridge and put traps in my apartment. However, a bad odor filled my unit weeks later. It smelled like a dead rodent. Maintenance came back and patched holes they found behind my A/C filter in my ceiling. The smell went away but has now returned. I wish this property would hire professionals to check my air ducts to solve this issue promptly.
Stopped by to inquire about leasing a 1bdrm I spoke with Jose and he was very nice and polite. Seriously considering leasing from MacArthur Ridge. I really like these apartments.MeLinda Gray
Review at move-in: Office staff is great! Responsive, helpful and super kind every time I have interacted with them. The apartment grounds are very well kept and really pretty with the big trees and greenery. The touring, application and approval process was the easiest I have ever experienced!Review after a year of living here-Cons:-The office staff are awful at returning emails unless its about getting money out of you. Just call or go into the office if you want anything answered.-No security cameras around the buildings. Found this out because vehicles were being stolen out of the parking so I had asked maintenance in passing once if there were at least cameras in case something happened to my vehicle too and they told me no.-Staff didnt adhere to their own office Covid regulations by wearing a mask and social distancing when I had to come in to return my keys at move out.-I was charged $168 after moving out, most of which was for a carpet cleaning charge. The carpets were NOT dirty when I left and were cleaned/vacuumed by myself before turning in my keys. Just beware that they will try to find ways to squeeze out a little more money from you at move out.Pros:-Maintenance is AWESOME. They are quick and responsive to your inquiries and very nice.-Its a very quiet and clean community. I had always felt safe living here.-The patio spaces were large which was my favorite part of my place. I spent so much time outside.-They offered me a month to month rate that would be the same rate I was already paying due to Covid. I thought this was very generous!Overall, it was pleasant most of the time but I wouldnt rent here again.
Nice place to live. Since the time I moved in I never had to complain, not even once. everything is perfect and works good. I recommend this place.
I recently moved into this apartment and move process was pretty smooth and the staff was good.Hope to have a wonderful stay here.
Worst apartment. I do not know how other people’s give them kudos. If you want to stay peace and happy with your family, please never try to rent in MacArthur Ridge Apartment.

A nice apartment complex and we walked into inquire about leasing a unit, we were greeted and given a nice tour of the complex. We were impressed and leasing a unit and moving in into by end month end.

I recently moved here. Process was pretty smooth. Thanks Karla.
Im in the middle of my apt hunt and came across MacArthur Ridge apts. As soon as I walked into the leasing office I was immediately greeted and assisted. The gentlemen who helped was very informative and helpful in answering all my questions. The property tour was great and this place is definitely a top option
The apartments are good and neat. The staff are very friendly and they will get it done as soon as possible if you have any issues with your apartment .
Good place to live. Very nice floor plans. Only thing I could say is the maintenance needs some improvement.
Nice place! I went on vacation for about a month and was worried about leaving my car out for so long without monitoring. I called the office to let them know. Although, they would rather Id parked in the less populated areas (several parking space by the way), it was not possible since Id already left. Long story short, I found my car untouched parked where Id left it. Now the actual apartment on the other hand...Not much to say but good things. I got a great looking 2 bed 2 bath with equal large sized bedrooms. The kitchen is a bit small for what Im used to, but thats just me. The rent is a bit high, but not too bad since Im splitting it. I got the $40 washer and dryer (laundry facility is available if required). Also, great internet providers with Spectrum and AT&T. I went with AT&T fiber internet just $50. The only downside is that I didnt get a longer lease length.PS...* Maintenance is quick and I see them out working hard everyday!* No pest identified yet, its just now spring but well see.* Several stores and restaurants close by (e.g Walmart, Sams Club, Best Buy, Frys Electronics, Raising Canes, Texas Roadhouse, etc.)Ill edit with my final thoughts close to the ending of my lease. In the meantime, Ill be enjoying my new home!
