I just got my full set by Mi on Tuesday and my nails have just popped off on both of my hands. I’m really upset and frustrated because I had waited a few weeks to even get my nails done 💅🏾 again. I feel like I got cheated out of my money because the first 1 popped off on Wednesday. 😭 really not a happy person and I use to love it here.

I went here to get my SNS nails, and they had a new guy who refused to use the top coat for SNS nails and he tried to trick me, and stated he was using the right top coat, but was not, I told the manager, and nothing was done. It was a complete disaster, they have all new people, go to Nail Bar!

Update: I went back for a fiill.... and they look awful. I got a different lady and she was rough hurt me SEVERAL time with the drill. She got gel polish all over my fingers. The shaping is awful and literally my fill was $40 when my full set was $55 which doesnt make much sense. And she literally painted my nails while my fingers were still dirty so I have white flecks inside my black nail polish. Im never coming back here. THEY ALSO PAINTED MY NAILS DARK BLUE INSTEAD OF BLACK I didnt notice until I walked out into the sunlight.They accepted my walk in on a Friday afternoon even though they were a little busy I had no wait. My nail tech was extremely professional did a wonderful job on my nails (full acrylic with gel) and was extremely nice to me. For a full acrylic new set and a pedicure I paid $85 was very reasonable. First picture was when I first got them done second picture is two weeks later.

I love this place!! They know me by name and make me feel very comfortable. My nails always looks great!!

We walked in and got an apt with little to no wait! Had hand drawn snowflakes put on my nails ❄️ very pretty and well done! Enjoyed the massage chairs during our pedicures.

This place was amazing I dont give out many 5 star reviews but they definitely deserve every star. I had an amazing time with my girlfriend it was overdue and much needed quality time. So if your looking for a good pedicure definitely come to MI nail salon I cant vouch for any other services because this is all I received but if its anything like the pedicure its an experience worth every cent.

This was my first time coming here, I wanted to try something new with my nails. I must say Mimi EXCEEDED my expectations, she educated me on the dip power versus the acrylic, she was very sweet as well. I will DEFINITELY be returning.

I had a gel fill done and it was okay. The guy kept hitting my cuticles with the drill. And got nail polish all over my cuticles that didnt get cleaned up. He also didnt cut my cuticles at any point. Nice salon atmosphere though

I don’t get my nails done regularly, just for special events and vacations, but every time I’ve come here I’ve had a great experience. The staff is professional and friendly, they have a large selection of colors, and the prices are fair. The salon is also very clean.

Best place Ive been to get a manicure and pedicure. Me and my girls, and grandson went for a fun day together. They kept us all together and the service was great. Comfy seats and relaxed atmosphere.

Fantastic service!! Very friendly and accommodating and kept our appt time, it felt like they valued us as customers instead of just wanting to see as many people as they could. The place was full, great COVID precautions in place, staff was well managed. Also my pedicure felt amazing!

There was no answer & although they were not taking walk-ins they accommodated us as out of towners. The service was great & I am completely satisfied with the results. Left a great tip!

I got fed up with my nail salon’s diminished quality and attention to detail. Always leaving with dry cuticles and patchy work. My nails were always mismatched lengths and a shape I didn’t care for. I saw a gal with great nails and she told me to come here. Michelle immediately helped me with a warm welcome. Not only is her work pristine, but she even gave me a manicure with my dip powder without me having to ask! I’ll def be back.(For those that don’t know, dip powder usually doesn’t come with a manicure at most salons, at this one, it’s included HUGE BONUS).

I do love coming to this place and have returned here to get my nails done a couple of times now. My only qualm this time was that this was not the color I asked for (I asked for dark red). They wanted to try a new technique which I understand and appreciate but I went in for burgundy nails and ended up with brown. Otherwise I really like the place and the ladies that work there are lovely.

Got my fill-in and a pedicure. Lily was efficient to perfection. Love the shape and details. Pedi was relaxing just needed her apply more pressured in my legs when massaging. Will come back again. One of the best in INDY.

My friend and I made an appointment to get some manicures done. We showed up, chose our colors, got our manicures at the same time, sitting right next to each other, just as we requested. Very pleasant experience. The place is clean and cozy and fairly priced.

I love this nail salon. I got my nails done here a while ago and my experience was great. my nails were beautiful and perfect. She also gave me great direction on what to get done since I walked in not knowing what I wanted. They were exactly the look I wanted and I’ll definitely be going there again.

Feet looks OK...but I hv never been to a place to where you hv to ask them to put some type of foot soak in the water...guess they just soak your feet in hot water 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏿so I had to pay for her to put some solution in the water...

I have been going to this salon for over a year. both of my nail techs have left. They put me with someone else and they did not do a good job. My dip manicure is coming off already, it has not been a whole week. highly disappointed

The woman took her time adding the acrylic but if I’m going to come in and do a full set & you notice that the cuticles don’t look good from the beginning and I ask you from the beginning to trim them, maybe you should do that. The main point in coming to get my nails done is so they look good. You can’t have good looking nails without tending to the cuticles. Not to mention I was charged for cutting the cuticles. I got a matte layer put on top but there are bubbles and bumps and the polish didn’t even cover the sides of my nails. The atmosphere was great there but I won’t be going back. This is what $55 plus tip looks like...not great.

I like it here. The nails last a long time and they really take pride in their work. If I have ever had any suggestions or noticed anything I want changed while getting my nails done, they always do what needs to be done to make my nails excellent. I will definitely return.

One of the BEST pedicures Ive ever had. Im from Chicago and I tried 2 other nail salons over the last couple weeks and have been extremely disappointed. This salon is very clean, very modern and their procedures are top notch. This is definitely my go to spot for pedicures. I arrived too close to closing to also get a manicure so Ill try that this weekend.

I have been going here for the past 6 years as my one stop shop and have yet to be disappointed. I can get a pedi, mani and eyebrows waxed all in one appointment. Tracy is my go to nail tech since she knows exactly what I like and she never disappoints!!!!

Being African American woman I noticed a huge difference in treatment compared to the white customers no conversation or welcome and very much rushed quality I will not be back and advise all of the African Americans in indy to not bless them with your dollar

Tiffany is awesome! She is very kind and pays attention to detail. I drive 40 minutes to see her but my visits are always worth the travel.

So, Ive been here 3 times and each time I have left happy with my nails. The nail techs are super nice and dont force conversation if you do not wish to speak, which is a bonus for me because at other salons I feel like the nail tech just talks and talks and talks. I would definitely recommend this nail shop...the quality of their polishes both gel and dip is great....the shop is a good 25-30 mins drive from home but so worth it! I only give them a 4 star, because last time I was there, the nail tech saw that they were getting a rush with people walking in and she somewhat rushed through the last bit of my nails, but they still do an AMAZING job.

I was in Indiana visiting and popped in this shop! Excellent! Never had powder dipped nails. Love It! Its been two week and they still look beautiful.

Went in for manicure, standard polish. Got right in with no wait which was good. It felt a bit rushed though. I was done in 30 minutes. The tech cut me twice while trimming my cuticles. Nothing severe but not good. The polish began chipping within 2 days. There was no time between coats for drying. I paid before the nail polish was put on and gave her a 25% tip. I won’t go back as I didn’t feel the service was good enough.

My wife goes here from the east side to get her nails done. She loves her nail artist, Susan, and to be honest, her nails always come out looking perfect. Also, comfortable leather chairs for the men if theyre waiting for their women to get pampered!

Ive had every pedicure on the menu except the detox (soon though) Cant go wrong with any of them. My favorite person in the building is Blanca (sorry if spelled incorrectly) She is awesome. Never feels rushed. Does the little things that some dont. I prefer her but dont think Id pass on any of them. Really the best pedicures around.

I’ve been trying to find a solid place for years and I think I’ve finally found it! The past three times I’ve had Brian and he is fabulous. Very quick but super detailed and clean. Throws some jokes at you for a few good laughs.

I got a dip powder Mani and my husband got an angel feet pedi. No complaints. We will always go to this salon for our self care. Everyone is great. Ivy did such a good job dealing with my pain in the butt gold glitter Mani! (My words!)

This was my 1st time in a long time coming here and it was a pretty good experience. It was about a 25 minute wait but that was fine because I was a walk in. Lisa did amazing on my pedi. That was the best pedi I had in a long time.

Got powder dip nails and coffee pedicure. Finally a powder dip that is not too thick and cheap looking. Pedicure was so relaxing and my legs feel great. I will be back for sure.

I had the absolute best experience Ive ever had getting my nails done at Mi Nail Salon! First off - Jessie was the most friendly and skilled technician Ive ever seen. She was cheerful, polite, and really took her time to make sure everything was perfect for my upcoming vacation. And the Mi Time Pedicure? Best pedicure Ive ever had hands down. I live on the eastside of Indy and I will drive out of the way to come see these folks again. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

It’s hard to communicate with the nail techs & they don’t listen to me when I tell them things. I’ve tried this salon 3 different time and I’ve never been very happy with the quality of work I receive from here.

Warning to all ladies! DO NOT get your hair cut here, he have messed up my wife’s hair and refuse to give a refund (we only ask for 50% refund) . her hair was long and thin he cut it so short and dye it so dark that there’s no way to fix it. if anyway he try to fixing it, it would be way shorter than what she wanted, and he didn’t even apologize to her . VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Don’t wasted your money here.

Ive left multiple raving reviews about this place. Ive noticed some who have been unhappy with Mi Nail and I must say they have it all wrong. This place goes above and beyond to make sure you leave a happy customer. If a mistake is made, they own up to it and will fix whatever is wrong at no cost. They make great recommendations on nail care and you cant beat complimentary drinks during a pedicure (white wine anyone?)

I have been a faithful customer for about 2 years now and never have complaints, but I do after my latest pedicure. After one day of having the regular nail polish on my toes, I put socks on and the nail polish stuck to my big toe nails and ruined them, leaving fuzz on the polish. I am not sure if its the nail polish or what, but I thought after 1 day, I would be okay to put socks on.

The service was good. But the pedicure chairs massage jets didnt work and I didnt have a massage unit on my chair. They need to step their game up.

I agree with lots of others who have mentioned the same issue- this place used to be nice and Ive rated it high in the past, however, it continues to go down hill and I dont recommend it any more.

I enjoy coming here to get my hair cut by kimi. Hes probably one of the best hair stylist I have seen. His skills with the scissors is unprecedented. In addition, not many places around Indianapolis know how to cut my thick straight hairs.

I have been a customer for a couple years now, & never had any problems with my nails or the service but lately, the last few times that I have been there... within a week, my nails break off. I just got my nails done last Saturday, it’s Thursday & already 4 nails have broken off. They are making them too thin & for paying 50$ dollars, is not worth it. I’ll be finding a new place to go from now on.

Do not get a manicure with Lisa. I moved here from out of state and tried this nail salon. Lisa is so rough with her manicure. I was wincing and pulling back my hand, she continued to push back cuticles AND skin. Four of my fingers even started to bleed a little. Then when she was filing down one of my nails, she dug a huge cut into my finger pad. Its been three days and it still hurts to wash my hands. Ive been having my nails done for years, and never experienced anything like this. I am horrified.

Went there the other day. It was my very first visit and it would be the last. I got there 10 mins before my appointment, was greeted and asked to pick a color for my pedicure. Every thing went really well until the girl who started to help me. She said she worked there for 6 months and originally worked at another nail salon down the road. Well. . . I thought we were having good conversations until another customer was seated next to me. She then only talked to her and not paying much attention on me nor my feet. Anyway, towards the end of the care, she made a few rude comments about how rough my skin was and I was too cheap and lazy to not having regual pedicure done. . . . .she also did my nails and things did not get better. She had her phone up every time when my nails needed to be under the UV light. . . Anyway, the quality of the gel polish is horrible. I see bubbles & bumps . . . I asked her if she could fix them and she said they were normal. Surely, they service & quality did not worth the $85 that I paid . Extremely disappointed.

My sister made an appointment for us to get a full set of acrylics. we got there on time and they said we couldn’t have them done. they told us that they couldn’t get us in until 6:40 due to short staff. my sister called them to see if 5:45 would work and they said of course. we get there and they can’t do it. they said, “we can’t do it, sorry” i saw this as very unprofessional. i am very upset.

Yesterday 7/31/2019 my sister and I went to Mi Nail Salon located at 3865 E 82nd St. Indianapolis, IN 46240. We both received a manicure and pedicure. Upon walking in we were directed to a wall and told to pick out nail polish. The only polishes on the wall were the gel polishes so we figured they did not have basic nail polishes as a lot of salons are no longer carrying them. We started with the pedicure, were given a menu and asked to select a service, I repeated we were doing the mani/pedi combo, and that we just wanted the basic pedicure. Our services were fine, the people were polite, but when we went to pay we were informed it was $90 a person. Im not the type to cause a scene in front of a room full of people, and did not want to look like a jerk in front of my little sister so I paid the bill and added a tip totaling $200. As soon as I left I went back to their website and looked at their pricing, it says for a mani/pedi COMBO it is $45. Then says if you do the procedures individually it is $35 for the manicure and $30 for the basic pedicure. I called the salon to dispute the charges and the gentleman was just plain out rude. I told him I thought we had been overcharged for our services, told him what we had, and how much we paid. He said that we had chosen gel polish and that costs more. I informed him that they only had gel polish and that it was very misleading. He then said that the normal nail polish was in the back. How in the world are we supposed to pick from a product that isnt even shown? I told him that they should inform their customers of that as it is very misleading, he said cool and hung up the phone. Im honestly just blown away by the entire scenario. I 100% would have gone back to that salon regularly if it werent for this instance, now I will never return. How do we end up paying double the price of a mani/pedi combo? And even if we consider the items individually the total should have been $65 a person, so where does the extra $25 per person come in? I just feel extremely ripped off, and saddened that the company wouldnt even be polite to someone who had just spent a whopping $200 on two mani/pedis, that is just ridiculous. He could have at the VERY least explained the charges I was questioning.

Enjoyed my experience here. Nails turned out beautiful. Will definitely be back!

So I’ve been going to Mi Nails for a few months and it was wonderful service until recently. I got protein dip for my nails a second time and the tech didn’t put the correct top coat on, so my bails started to chip, this was less than two days after my appointment. I come back in, it only did the tech treat me unfairly, the “manager” grabbed my hand and in a rude way told the tech to redo, just to take the top off, rebuff and cover again. At first it didn’t seem to be a problem, he fixed them and started to put the proper top coat on, well I noticed how thin they were after he rebuffed them. They were so thin that now they’re chipping off completely. I’m so embarrassed and ashamed that I’ve spent my hard earned money at a place that does have properly trained techs and rude management. You and your tech made the mistake, not me. Train properly or end your business. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!
