I have visited this nail salon since August 2016. The employment and people changed who work here. I went in after two years because I had moved cities. I went in for a pedicure after a full new toenail growth to get it shaped because it broke during moving furniture around. A week later I developed a fungal toenail infection on my newly grown toenail! The quality of the salon’s sanitation changed completely. I would not recommend this salon since the sanitation of pedicure and manicure tools are not up to par.

I got a full set with dip. The man that did my nails was nice, but the quality was poor. The dip doesn’t start at my cuticle, it starts well above, making it look like the manicure is a week old the minute I walked out of the salon. The dip and polish had indents and lines through it and was not smooth at all. He did not clean up and trim my cuticles or the area around my nails very well either. He did give a nice hand massage at the end, but I would of rather had a good manicure for the $50 plus tip that I paid. I went to this salon once before for a gel manicure. The gel easily peeled off within the first 2 days despite me being gentle on my nails. I decided to give them another try, but after this I will not be going back.

Spent $230 and my nails did not look anything like the picture. The nail tech got mad because I didn’t like them. I asked for a refund and the manage snatched my hands and started clipping them down. They then started talkinf in their language,, probably talking about me but who cares. If I spend $230 on nails best believe I want them to look close to perfect. 3 of my fingers are now bleeding and my natural nails are cut extremely low. Best believe I won’t be back!!!!

For the second time, my experience at Ooh Lala has been unsatisfactory with my nails. I informed the manager Kim, she was completely silent. This is horrible.CK did a great job twice on my pedicure. Time to find another salon.

Fourth time going and they havent failed. They take pride in doing your nails, they make you feel as you are valued and appreciated. After going to several in the area. They have won my services

I cannot say enough positive statements about this family owned business. I trust this manicurist and allow her to select my nail color. She can match my skin tone and the nail color every single time. Im so pleased. Also, this shop was mindful of sanitary procedures long before COVID happened.

If I could put ZERO stars I would. The lady who did my full acrylic set, was angry with me because I didn’t want gel. I was on a budget and I needed something simple. Instead of doing her job professionally, despite what was best for me, she gave me the worst nail experience I’ve EVER had. She cut up 5 of my fingers, bad enough they all bled. She didn’t talk to me the entire time, and littlerally threw my hands around in frustration. When I left I still had glue all over my fingers, AND my paint job was sloppy. My nails were so thin that they started chipping off, most have popped off. I get Gel nails are where it’s at and acrylic are whack. But for them to be completely worthless after 6 days is pretty ridiculous. What else is sad, is the fact that this woman was very nice to me after I gave her a nice tip. I continplated on going back, but after my nails falling off this quickly and the terrible service I received. I’d rather not give this place a second chance.o

They took time more than they should. Paint one nail and put on uv and again paint on other on put u on UV. Its not good put you hand on UV extra minutes.

The staff is especially nice. Great atmosphere and lovely decor. They do a great job on your actual nails. I wouldve given 4 stars but the fact that a mani/pedi had us there for 3 1/2 hrs with no crowd, was unacceptable. Dont go here if you expect to be in and out in a reasonable time.

Ive struggled to find a salon Ive loved since I moved to indy 5 years ago. After a salon Ive went to a few times lied to me and royally messed up my SNS nails, I decided to find a different salon.Im not usually one to leave reviews but I am SO happy with Ooh Lala!! The place is clean and over all welcoming.Ava recovered my nails with a beautiful acrylic with gel polish matte nail!Ill definitely be coming back many of times!!

Thank you for making my mothers day weekend super special! I got mood polish on fingers and flowers on my toes! So pretty.

Person who did my pedicure hurt me a few times & when I told him he was hurting me he ignored me!! Then he messed my polish up on my toes, I have thick nails & even after i told him to hit the top edges with polish, some of them have no polish! Then, while i was under dryer drying my nails, he came & told me I have to pay NOW! All the nail shops I have ever been to, you pay on your way out the door!! Needless to say, no tip & go somewhere else if u can, my Granddaughter went too & they cut her nails when she asked them just for a trim!!! We were both highly unsatisfied!!!

Horrible! They give you a hard time if you’re unsatisfied with your nails, absolutely no refunds but will still give you a hard time to just change the polish! Save your money and time go elsewhere!!

I been to this location several timesYesterday I went in with 5 people which we made an appointment for all manis & pedisI made the appointment for 6pm they didn’t get us in the chair till 630 AFTER MAKING APPOINTMENT!! The store close at 730 pm as soon as 730pm came ALL THE NAIL TECHS was rushing, being rude, demanding money before even starting on some of my people. The lady was demanding her customers to wear a face mask ... understand... but her workers don’t have to wear one 😒 !!! I told the owner I WILL NEVER COME BACK BAD SERVICE, RUDE & LAZY

My daughter and I have been going to OOH La La Nails for a few months now. We love how everyone treats you. My daughter loves Dorsey who also does eyebrows-she is amazing!! The owner is Kim who did my nails today, the overlay process-I LOVE them. Lin did my pedicure and eyebrows-she is equally AMAZING! We both love Ooh La La Nails!

Gel manicure chipped within 2hrs. Nails look terrible. My daughter wanted a snowflake on her nails and what she got was not a snowflake. Shes almost 8 and told the nail tech that she wanted a design on her nails. The tech never asked me if it was okay to put her poor excuse for a snowflake on every nail and charge per nail for the design. So disappointed. I will not recommend this place to anyone!

This is the first review I have ever written about a nail salon, this place is perfect. It is 100% my new go to salon. First off the place is beautiful, clean and quiet. The chairs you sit in when you get your nails done is insanely comfy. The owner of the store, Kim is so nice and you can really tell she cares about the nails. I went in with a friend and watched the beginning process of her getting her nails prepped and Kim did not rush the process and took good care of the nails. My nail tech was named Cole, he was great at caring for my nails. I like to get the almond/stiletto nail shape and he is the best person to get for this. He got the shape perfect and all even which I havent found anyone to do as great as he did. Over all the place is the best salon I have ever experienced. It is very quiet with almost no nail salon smell because it is very well ventilated. The music in the background was very quiet and not over powering. Just a very nice calm place. Will return for sure.

I have been going to Ooh Lala Nails for months now. I have had both Pao and Tommy as my nail techs and love the work that they do. I typically book with Tommy as I tend to make last minute appointments. I appreciate the work Tommy does on my nails and I walk out every time loving my nails. One should note that I am picky when it comes to my nails and he is patient with me and makes sure that my nails look how I want them to. I greatly appreciate the professionalism and also the personable experience that I get with Tommy, which keeps me going back!

I’ve been to a lot of nail salons all around Indianapolis and this is by far my favorite. They’re super nice people, and always have openings due to the amount of technicians working. They provide top of the like services and have a huge variety of options. I have never left here unsatisfied. #1 nail salon in Indianapolis in my opinion!

I recommend Coco as your nail technician! She is the best she likes to laugh and joke around. By far the best nail experience!

Pleasant nail tech, nice manicure. However, the salon needs a good cleaning. The floor needed sweeping, the baseboards are loaded with dust and the restroom was so-so. It makes me question the cleanliness of the equipment.

I have visited the Keystone location several time on many diff occasions...found the pedi service the best...my daughter goes there and my husband uses them specifically because of the outstanding quality of work on his feet...yesterday he and I made an appointment for 11...we got there a few min early...first no one ask me to pick a color for my toes, my husband is called back, so i decide to pick my color while u wait, then front area person motion I can go back where my husband is...confused I go back there, my husbands water is running and he is being directed but no eye contact towards me, so I sit on spa chair next to him...still confused why she is doing everything but running water for me as well or asking what color I wanted or anything at this point...out of no where she said u can sit there and pointed to the dry bowl like u would do if a kid was waiting on a parent to get done...so once I figured out oh wait because my husband requested a certain person the appointment I had some how turned into a first available situation...so what I did next is nicely put my shoes, coat and purse and they let me walk out no question asked...20 min later my husband called me, long story short I returned to be treated even worst...my feet unfortunately really had been neglected and the older women they assigned to me was rude, talked down to me, when asking me what service she pointed to basic option shaking her head like I figured so let’s just get this started and over...worst pedi I’ve had in a while...I needed a lot but because of the insults and awkwardness of the situation I got what I got...my husband saw nothing wrong w the whole situation so...I’m glad he got great service, but I will not be going back for any pedi and I had already decide they will not be doing my nails long time ago because I asked for dip and they overlooked my request and did the regular fill in process because it was quicker and the tech was in a rush...so I’m done w that location...nice knowing y’all...

Horrible! I did get a beautiful set of nail once, only to return for a fill and like every other typical salon the tech had left. At that point I allowed another tech to do my gel fill and I was mortified. I left with poorly shaped nails that looked so unnatural, with four coats of gel, plus a top coat, I knew the place was a rap. Being desperate I returned today believing how bad can a powder dip turn out? OMG my nails are rough, uneven, poorly shaped, and to top it off when I asked if the slanted nails could be corrected i was hushed and was told its Christmas lets be happy. If it would be less than classless, I would return and demand a refund. There is absolutely no way I would allow anyone there to attempt to correct my unbuffed, uneven, clumps of powder, and untouched cuticles. To add insult to the poor job I paid for, it took two hours for a powder fill.SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Loved Ava, loved that the nail polish remover was on a warming pot. Nice touch.

The place is real nice but they don’t talk to there clients and the don’t make to enter action I showed her my nail that I wanted and she did a hole different nail style and I was mad bc I didn’t get the nail I wanted and I felt like she didn’t want to do my nails like how I wanted them like she didn’t care at all I do not recommend

Love this place. They do beautiful work and prices are great! The inside is beautiful too! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great pedicure or acrlic. Lost if colors to choose from and they are so helpful in helping you choose the right color.

Wrote a review here 3 years ago, I still stand by my review. I’ve jumped around nail shops a few times but typically don’t go more than once or twice. I’ve consistently come back to Ooh lala for years. Whenever anyone asks where I go to get my nails done my immediate answer is always here. I used to go to Cole everytime for many years then took a break getting them done. I have now switched nail techs to Ava and she is wonderful. Salon can/will get very busy so may be best to always call for an appointment. I am one to be very picky with my nails. They always listen and understand. Love them

I have always come to this place & had great experiences. However, this time was pathetic. Kim (who I’m assuming is the owner) was not friendly at all. I’ve never been more disappointed with the outcome of my nails. She acted like I was annoying her every time I had a question to ask. She cut my nails down sooo short without even asking if I wanted them cut. The only way I’d come back here is if I know I won’t have to deal with her.

Michelle was great she hooked my nails up and I loved that she took her time. It was a good atmosphere as well.

Awesome experience! They did a great job and my feet feel awesome! I would highly recommend Humana (spelling may be wrong), she has a great personality and really took her time/ didnt rush through it.

The place is super cute. Prices are reasonable. And Ava always goes above and beyond. She is detailed, doesnt cut corners, and she is quick.I drive almost 30 mins to this shop because it is worth it!

I have been in Indy for a year, and tried multiple nail salons. I was not happy with any of them until I went to Ohh Lala. This place is great. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The facility is very clean, and they use throw away linings for their pedicure tubs so it is very sanitary. I had a fourth of July pedicure done and they put cute fire works on my big toe. It lasted a long time and everyone comented on how cute it was. The pricing was reasonable and there was only a 5$ charge for the design. Great experience, I highly recommend them.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!I went yesterday for a mani and pedi with my husband before vacation. It was supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I felt like they treated us like a number and not a client. They were not personable at all. I asked for some water twice before she begrudgingly got me some. My nail tech literally blew her nose while working on my toes! Put the used nail wipe she used as a tissue on the side of the foot basin and continued to work on my feet. I was stunned!!! I’m so mad that I didn’t speak up! my feet were roughed up but never smoothed out. ( my husband’s were soft after his pedi) Only to get worse at the mani station. She didn’t even put a towel down to rest my hands. She hurt me while pushing down my cuticles. Wasn’t even sorry.I went there for a good polish. Went home with polish on my cuticles and a terrible manicure. I should of done it myself and it would of turn out better!To make things worse, I called when driving home and they said they would have to look at the tapes to see her actions. Who can make up these things!!!! Needless to say they never followed up!Being a former salon owner, the customer is ALWAYS right! (If you want to stay in business!)Take it from me, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!There’s plenty of reputable places to choose from.

The massage chairs are awesome; the quality of the manicure and pedicure could use some work. I have visible flow lines from each layer of polish, and they didnt come close to covering the entire nail. My mani-pedi only lasted a day and a half before it started chipping off, because they didnt use a top coat.

The salon itself is nice, however they were quite expensive and I wasnt completely satisfied with the service. I got a gel manicure and not only did the polish look lumpy, but there were bubbles in the dry polish. Also, the nail tech was pretty rough on my hands, 2 of my fingers were bleeding when I left.

Ive been coming here for over a year with out any issues. Recently, my favorite nail tech left, so I had to use another, which was fine when I got a pedi, but when I came in a couple weeks later to get a soak off and full set the lady was rude and unwilling to do my full set until I asked another lady. Although she ended up doing them, she was silent the entire time and acting as if she didnt want to do them and was being forced to 😒. She even got to the point where when the soak off was almost done, she asked me to go to a different shop because she wasnt willing to do them how I asked. Anyway, they came out great, but I will not be back for anything other than a pedi. The rudeness of this nail tech kind of ruined the experience for me.

Just moved to the city and needed a place to get mani/pedi before a trip. I will find somewhere else to go. No one said anything when I walked in, they looked busy so I almost turned around a left. Someone then asked for me to add name to the list. For the pedicure they grouped everyone together so I was sandwiched between other groups. I then had to wait for 25 min and until the water was cold for someone to help me, this was after waiting 15 min to be called back. I was about to leave at this point. The girl who ended up doing my pedicure was all of 16 which I wouldnt have cared about except her inexperience was very clear. She filed and filed my nail until I said ouch and then she said nothing and moved on to the next. She didnt want to touch my feet and barely massaged my legs- the most relaxing part! They forgot I had also signed in for a manicure and handed me off to someone else. He seemed more experienced but not any better. My cuticle was barely trimmed and again hardly any massage. Also I got a gel manicure and he didnt seal the tip of the nail like well trained technician would so Im sure my $38 manicure will be gone in a few days. Also prices dont match up and when I asked he said I was wrong. I paid it because I had already been there for 2 hours! Overall not a worth it and wont be back!

You get what you pay for-Not . They did what I asked them to do somewhat, but they tell me the price afterwards not before. they have different prices depending on what you want. My pedi was $18 but my manicure was $40. Both were French except my manicure had gel but I didnt know it would double the price getting gel. Not worth it. I paid but not coming back. The quality was 3/5 because Ive had some spectacular French nails done before (Designs/fades/jewels for that price) and they couldnt do anything but the basic.I feel ripped off. I had high hopes because of so many 5 star rating but that did not happen for me. Maybe I just got the wrong person, but either way not coming back. If I wanted basic I wouldve gone closer for $25 gel french manicure.

A bit overpriced. Great hours. Nice staff. Okay decor. Bad music. Good location. I went in to get a gel manicure because they had excellent reviews, and because the place I had planned to go to had not yet opened for the day.Overall, my nails looked nice, but for my short nails, my two-coat gel manicure at this place cost $35! So, I paid $37. At that price point, I expect Ooh La La. Places like Nail Bar (E. 96th) and Nails & Lounge (E. 82nd), offer you wine and give full hand massages with your manicure, and they make sure you feel comfortable while youre there. So, I recommend that they come down to $25... and on dead mornings like today, maybe make it $23 for a gel manicure. Had I gotten acrylics with a gel overlay, $35 would make sense.The plush chairs are cool, but everything else seemed pretty standard for a nail salon. The music was like MIDI versions of well-known songs. So, it was more distracting than enjoyable. Given that I have had better service at other nail salons for less, I probably will not be coming back.To their credit, I got to eavesdrop on a really fun conversation between another nail tech and her client. So, if you do decide to go here, ask for Pao. She seemed really nice, and fun to talk to.

They talk behind your back in their language if you don’t tip them. We used a translator when we went in. Very rude people. They use profanity. Really rude.

They messed up my nails and when i asked them to redo my nails it was still not what i wanted. They acted like they were going to refund me my money and they gave me 5 dollars back so i got to pay $55 for something i didnt want and lost 3 hours of my time! Not worth the trip.
