Extremely expensive. I got 4 items altered for $125 and that was a bit much when youre just hemming something and making items fit better. I paid way cheaper at other places.

This is the worst Alteration place I have ever been to. First; they gave a receipt when clothes are done and then when it was time to pick them up; no one was there. They tell you to wait til next until someone is able to work. Remind you; we were told to pick up the order 2 days. Bad management and owner is rude. I have reported them to the better business bureau. Please; I repeat do not do business with them

One of the sweetest ladies youll ever meet! You will have so much trust in her work, and she figures out solutions to every problem with your item, even if you didnt realize you needed it. She is so kind and does quality work! She was able to craft a belt, take in material, and shorten all for the best price. 10/10 would recommend!!

Jane is super nice and awesome. I had her first alter my bridesmaid dress and she did an awesome job! It had a lot of work to be done but she kicked butt! I brought another dress for her to alter a second time and she did it again! Will definitely be coming back for my future alternation needs!

When I first made an appointment for my wedding dress fitting, she asked me how much I paid for my dress, and I told her. She stated that I paid too much, and even told other customers in the store that I paid too much for my dress. I scheduled the second appointment for the fitting, I left work an hour early, got to the shop and she forgot that we had an appointment and hadnt touched my wedding dress. I re scheduled, came in the following Saturday, and she took the dress in too much. Had another appointment, she let the dress out miss measured the top so now my strapless wedding dress now has to have straps sewn on the dress. The fourth appointment, she could not fasten the dress in the back and accused me of gaining weight, and that i need a new scale. I told her that the straps were not long enough and needed to be redone and causing the dress not to zip up (after we took the straps down the dress fit) and she offered no apology for her statement of me gaining weight. She did not complete my dress until the day before my wedding. She does great work, but the way that she speaks with her customers is horrid. I felt that she was not honest with me about my bill, paid way too much for the alterations, she notified me of my bill the day I pick up my dress, and it was way more expensive than what I thought. She does not take credit card, only cash and that was also told to me the day I picked up my dress. The experience of getting your wedding dress altered is supposed to be the funniest part, and to me this was a horrible experience.

Jinu altered my wedding dress and did a wonderful job. She said it was a complicated piece, with several layers of various fabrics including a pleated material. I had several fittings to ensure it was just right -and it was. She recommended adding a belt, and used extra fabric from the bottom of the dress. It really made the dress complete. She also added a bustle to the dress, and was very patient as we came up with different options. She is very friendly, and treats you like an old friend. I returned to have a bridesmaid dress fitted, and she did a great job on that dress as well.

They hemmed a new pair of pants expertly with a quick turnaround time even though the owners kid was getting married that weekend. It cost $12 which seems fair but Im no expert on alteration pricing.

I recently took something in to have “Patch A” replaced with “Patch B.” The patches are incredibly similar. Though the change I was wishing to make was obvious, we still went over the details before the work was performed. It was done quickly, but it was very overpriced...and both patches were UPSIDE DOWN! After not receiving reimbursement or a decent timeline to have them fixed, I took them to a different alterations shop who immediately spotted the error, and is charging me half the price to have it done overnight.Also, these hours are NOT accurate. They are not open until 6 and are closed Wednesdays (or so I was told)I would absolutely NOT recommend Jane Alterations to anyone.

Fantastic work and wonderful service. She had a full wedding party to do but managed to tailor and press my suit same day that I needed asap. I would recommend her services to anyone!

Great service. Had an emergency zipper fix and Jenu got right on it. Had my jacket repaired that afternoon. Would use her for every seamstress and tailoring need. Easy location/access off Rockville Rd across from Gordon’s Market.

She has been nothing but helpful to me. Just be aware she only accepts cash. I have had a great experience and she was the only one in the Hendricks county area that would actually alter my dress the way I wanted. I would recommend her, and actually found out about her through word of mouth.

Jinu does excellent work! My prom dress needed a lot of work and she altered it beautifully, even with a time constraint (the week before). Her pricing is fair for what you ask her to do. I would definitely recommend going to her for any alterations.

I have been going to Jinu Alteration for 4 years! I have nothing but good things to say! They only take cash payments to keep their business simple. Always greeted with a smile. Anyone who reads that this place is a scam on here from Jackson Thornhill .... well he is just a high school student making some sort of prank. I am a very small person and I have to have a lot of my clothes hemmed. They have always done a wonderful job including patching and stitching up clothes that I cant part with. They are at a new locations which I feel is better for their business because it is close to all the amenities in Plainfield. I highly suggest using their services. You wont be disappointed!

Dropped off 4 dresses for alterations on 05/26/17 was asked to return on 06/17/17 for fitting. Came on 06/19/17 & discovered the owner had a major surgery & this was first day back. No work done on dresses. Asked to return on 06/27/17. (Wedding on July 9th) Called on 06/27/17 and found out they still had not been started. I picked up dresses and had them done elsewhere. I had used her before when she was at a different location and no problems for altering pants. I get that life happens, but a phone call would have went a long way.

Jinu has done work for my family and I for many years and her most challenging project we gave her was my wedding dress. Very challenging as I am pregnant and had to have my dress fit accordingly. The price was very reasonable and the work as usual was beyond fantastic. Jinu does such amazing work and I will always use her for any alteration! Thanks once again Jinu!

So I called yesterday from another state to inform the owner that there are people coming into this establishment scamming others. Some how someone got access to my and others bank card info and went into this store and used an app on their cell phone to pay for services. I informed that lady on the phone of this and she became very rude and irate. How ignorant could one be to get offended when someone is calling your establishment to put you on notice of whats going on at this store. I called the police and filed a report. The bank is already aware of this. How ignorant of Jinus Alterations! I guess they dont ask for ID at this store either!

They will try to do more work than you want and charge you for the extra work. Tried to charge me $250 for a $30 dress and all I asked for was the dress to be hemmed.

She is friendly and does a great job with anything you bring her - anywhere from making a dress to any alteration!

My wedding gown came in two weeks before my wedding. I immediately took it to Jinu, who was making my mother-in-laws dress for our wedding. The dress needed to be taken in in several places and Jinu knew I was on a time crunch and said she can get the work done.I was very nervous because she had to completely take apart the lace detail in my dress and put it all back together to create the right fit. I was worried my dress was going to be ruined, but Jinu put it all back together and better than ever.My dress fit like a glove and I know she worked very long nights to get it done in time for my wedding.She LOVES working on wedding gowns and it is truly her speciality. I highly recommend Jinu for your wedding gown alterations!

Jinu is an EXCELLENT seamstress who will work on the very difficult to the very easy at reasonable prices. She ONLY ACCEPTS CASH, so find out the cost of the alterations before leaving so you can be prepared when you go back to pick up the item.
