Mr Steve is a great guy! He helped us out when our truck broke down. He is an honest guy and I would highly recommend him. He made this mama heart happy. When you are stranded with 3 kids, away from home, you want someone to make you feel that everything is going to be ok and Mr Steve did just that. I cant say enough what a God send the owner has been. He is so nice and friendly but professional at the same time. He towed one car for me and was at the location where my car was before I was!. Then, last night, he helped me out of a rough situation. My battery died. I went and got a battery and the owner and his crew came to my house at 9:30 p.m. in the midst of being busy to help me change it, as no auto parts store would do it, due to the computer sitting on top of the battery. Words do not express how grateful I am to Mr. Carter and his crew for helping me in my time of need! Two nights ago I was driving down All American about 9 pm with my husband and two nieces when I hit something that blew out my tire. By luck and grace I was able to get to a restaurant parking lot. My husband and myself tried to get the lugs off but we couldn’t. I called 3 companies prior to this one and no one was answering. When this man picked up the phone the best way I can describe it, was he sounded like an angel! He told me he was closer to 95 so it would take about 30 mins to get out but I didn’t care I needed help and he answered. He came out and was done within ten minutes. I broke down on I-95 on a Sunday afternoon and I couldn’t have gotten more lucky than to have come across Steve Carter of Carter’s towing & repair. Within five seconds his personality put me at ease. You can just tell right away that he is a good person and that his service is real deal professional.When he showed up on the scene, we talked about what was happening before the vehicle stopped running. After a few questions he had figured out what he later confirmed. It was the fuel pump. He towed me back to his garage and spent half the day working to remove my gas tank and replace the fuel pump. Everything is working great now and I made it the rest of the way home. He did the work the way it was supposed to be done and at a fair price. He saved the day and made me feel at home. A genuine man with amazing service. Our alternator gave out and he showed up within 10 min, on labor day! Not only did he tow us to his shop but also took us to advanced auto where he gave us his discount to get a brand new alternator and charged us very little for labor. An honest man with honest prices. He does fast work and his prices are extremely fair!

We got stranded at a rest stop in North Carolina on our way to Florida to go to a wedding. We found a website which directed us to this shop. I called and the owner said he was able to come to the rest stop and check out what was wrong with our van. It was 3 in the morning and he had an awesome character and personality for the time. He was very kind and a genuine person. He helped us however he could to get us back on the road. We are very thankful to have found his shop and will be forever grateful with him.

This business was a absolute life saver to my family. After a exhausting day my husband got his semi truck stuck in a bad area. This is troy Pearson and I got recommended to Carters towing and repair on Thursday by Johnny at interstate auto and truck in Dunn Nc and he told Steve what was going on and Steve said he could take a look at it and I went down the road to his shop and I got there right as Steve opened and we talked about what it was doing and he read some codes that the truck had and he figured out what was going on and he called around for all the parts and gave me a price and a told me that he would have all the parts by the next morning and have me back on the road before 5pm Friday and he went above and beyond and managed to stay within his original price on parts and labor and he had me back on the road at 4:50pm Friday he is such a nice guy really friendly I highly recommend him to anyone in town or outta town he will get you fixed up right and back on the road in no time thanks again Steve and Isiaha

Me and my family were on the way back from vacationing at the beach and we were 2 hours from home and had a flat tire well I went in the trunk to get the spare, surprise no spare. My alli company (like triple A) contacted the company to tow me all the way home. Yes 94 miles home. He was very professional, polite, sense of humor and good conversation on the 2 hour drive. Reliable and honest. Would and have recommended to all my friends and coworkers.Story Review- So there I was, Friday, headed north to Maryland. Rear axle breaks. Bossman gives me a min price and a max, and sticks to the max even when complications meant parts alone pushed him over cost. I pick my car up Monday.There was a winter storm going on at the time. Ive driven in snow, hurricanes, Im cocky as all hell, and even I started thinking discretion was the better part of valor. I turn around at Raleigh.Less than 3 hours after I got my car back, she starts getting shaky as Im passing an 18-wheeler. No problem. I had an old Crown Vic, rear-wheel, ~2 tons, and she can get a little testy even on dry roads. Nothing to worry about. I pass the 18-wheeler a bit, just so if there is an issue, Ive got a clear stretch of road to deal with it.I dont know if my tire went out. I dont know if I hydroplaned. I dont know if I hit a patch of ice. All I know is that barely ahead of an 18-wheeler my car suddenly decided she was going to start throwing her rear end around like it was midnight at the club and Shakiras on. Okay, let off the gas, turn into it a bit, dont panic. Nothing I aint done before-And now she suddenly decides shes an Olympic figure skater going for the gold with a signature spin, and Im strapped to 2 tons of steel I have ABSOLUTELY no control over, flicking on the hazards and watching an 18-wheeler haul ass right at my passenger-side window every time I spin. I can say with absolute honesty your life doesnt flash before your eyes. That would be nice. Revisit the good times, the bad times, the spank-bank moments, last drink of life before you take deaths chaser. Nope. Im watching this 18-wheeler come up, part of me is wondering about what Connor-con-carne is gonna look like spraying out the rear wheels of that monster, part of me is idly praying to every god I know and several I made up on the spot, and part of me is just mad that I dropped 2 grand on this damn thing just to spread it and myself across several hundred square meters of highway.To add the cherry on top, instead of having the reasonable prolapse-level sphincter clench youd expect, I had the temerity to say something along the lines of “Oh, oops.” Like I was fumbling something tossed to me instead of doing my level-best impression of a whirling dervish screaming along a stretch of hells frozen highway, an out of control advertisement for back-alley hangar abortions shooting for his very own Darwin award.Thankfully, some deity decided to take my lifes entire fund of luck and send me screaming into the median instead of under the wheels. Now, when 2 tons of land yacht hit wet/icy grass at speed, it dont stop. My girls rear end hit the guardrail and ground against it like it just offered to pay off her college debt. Because my life tends towards a level of absurd that would put Tarantino and Bay to shame, I manage to bounce off and start towards the highway again. But theres a limit to how stupid Im willing to let my life get, and I managed to pull her back into the median- right into the guardrail again.If I had the common sense to call these guys and inform insurance after the fact, instead of letting insurance dither for an hour trying to find a tow, I would have probably gotten off without a ticket. But I was too busy whooping about the fact that I was somehow still alive and cursing a caustic blue streak, leaping out of my totaled car into an inch of near-freezing water (because of course) to check the damage and enjoy the fact 18 wheels of well-deserved death aint turned me into highway potpourri.But I got a fair price on the tow, and gave me another free ride back into Fayetteville after.Long story short? 10/10 wouldnt piss away 2 grand in 3 hours with any other tow/repair guys.
