They were excellent service got me in and out no problems and Im back on the road and 30 minutes

No one came to the car to greet you when we pulled up. At other jiffy lubes you pull in and there is someone who greets you and tells you how long of a wait you have ECT. There was only 2 people working and they didnt say much about what was going on with my car. Overall I wont be going back to that store.

They open at 7 am. However no one showed up.... Im still waiting. Its now 720 am. Get it together!

Do NOT go to this location. I got an oil change and less than a week later i had oil all over my driveway. 2018 honda civic with no problems whatsoever before this. I went back to have them check the oil drain plug and they blamed it on oil run off. Suddenly it didnt leak anymore but 2 weeks later my oil pan cover is dragging down the highway holding on by only 1 of 8 screws. This was no accident. They are really ghetto at this location and the first ever bad incident with JIFFY LUBE.

I want to file a complaint about your shop in Independence, MO on 40 Highway. I traveled to Independence to help my 95 year old mother who was sick in the hospital. Her 1995 Buick needed an oil change. My brother suggested Jiffy Lube so I took it there. I told them I had a $15 off coupon. I told the attendant that I had the coupon and asked him how much an oil change was. He said $69 or $89 based on blend or full synthetic. I was charged $102.30!!! I live in CA which one of the most expensive states in the US and have never paid half this amount for an oil change! This was such a ripoff!

My fiancée brought my Explorer in for an oil change this morning. Vernon and Charlie took care of her and were very professional and courteous to her. My fiancée had mentioned to them that they were both being very pleasant, which isn’t always the case. Vernon then proceeded to explain to her his customer service philosophy. I stopped her and asked if that was the manager speaking, because what he was saying was quality management ideals.We have been taking our vehicles to a different company for a long time, but I believe Vernon and Charlie secured two new long term customers.

The two guys there today were fast, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

The two workers there were great! Oil change did not take long at all and they were super nice and helpful! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it is quite pricey but the worker there hooked me up with a coupon to help with that.

They didn’t have the oil needed for my oil change. They told me it would take 15 to 30 minutes for the oil to be delivered. 2 1/2 hours later they gave me a $15 discount for my time. While waiting, I got to hear the head mechanic critique his employees and how they did their job (in a very unprofessional manner). I will not be returning.

Charles was helpful in presenting discounts that would save me on the total bill. Good heartfelt employee to treat someone how he would wanna be treated. Service was excellent, best time to go is when they 1st open and weather is cold cause most people are still snuggled in...lol. 🤙

Charles did an outstanding job!! Another oil and lube location couldn’t figure out how to drain the oil in my make and model so they couldn’t perform the service. Charles had no problem at all.

I am the former general manager of this location, I wasn’t fired but voluntarily separated from the company, here are a list of reasons. The company like any company is greedy, they punish us the employees is you the customer do not spend enough money, we get wrote up for not doing our jobs correctly if you don’t spend enough money. The district manager will come in a do a “pulse check”, making sure we want to keep our jobs, when the weather is bad I was blamed for you the customer not being out to get oil changes, when Covid started I was told I wasn’t doing enough to get guests, and I was gonna have to work 7 days a week open to close but only get paid for 40. Folks I worked for jiffy lube back when it was heartland automotive and when I came back when it was team car care I was told it was very different, the only thing that was different was the faces, they want us to use our own tools to do things for the company, otherwise it is very much the same as heartland automotive they do business the exact same. I would urge folks to completely boycott jiffy lube and team car care until they learn what doing good ethical business is. Again I am not a disgruntled employee infact I am doing something I love and happy I made the choice to leave the company I am just tired of seeing my friends and family get burned by this company!

I went in for a standard oil change and everything was perfect. Everyone was very polite and professional. Honestly the best experience I have had so for. I look forward to visiting again for any other services on my car!

Called to see how busy they were and was able to drive directly there and get my oil changed as soon as I pulled in. The other location in Blue Springs had a long wait, so Im glad I came here instead. The two employees that helped me were very courteous and did a great job. I had a $15 coupon from the Jiffy Lube website, so I paid about $65 for a high mileage synthetic oil change.

My first time at this particular Jiffy Lube. The two guys kept with their word, at time of my oil change, with how the service would be conducted, that they explained to me on the phone. They were friendly, patient with my questions, professionals, and didnt try to sell me more than I requested. I highly recommend.

Said they could not check fluid level on a sealed transmission but had done it in past visits. Was not a full service store anymore.

I live far away from the location on hwy 40 in independence,mo, but I choose to come here. This team is always efficient and more importantly, friendly. They are always the absolute best.

While the service was fast and efficient, none of the employees were wearing masks even with the local mandate. Also seemed a bit pricey at over $100 for an oil change.

I have been going to this place for an oil change since 3 cars ago. It’s always quick (as long as there aren’t too many cars in front of you) and if there is no wait you are out of there in 20 minutes. But what I like the most about it is the fact that they never try to sell me other extra services that my car “needs”. If it just popped up on your Google search, give it a try! Or call and ask how long the wait is. The oil change itself only takes 15 minutes.

Called before I went and was told there was a 30 minute wait. When I pulled up 10 minutes later, there was 4 guys working there and they had 1 car in the bay and nobody but be waiting. The guy came to my window and told me that that there was 1 1/2 hour wait as the other car had major issues, I said thats fine Ill wait. A few minutes later another man pulled in and they told him that both the other customers had major issues and there was a 2 hour 45 minute wait, so he left. They finished with the car in the bay in approx. 15-20 and they had mine finished in about 40 minutes. They are just lazy and want to be paid for being lazy.

Felt like a back alley where you get more than an oil change...I don’t frequent quick lube shops but I was overdue and my normal shop is appointment only so I pulled into the parking spot to leave and come back once done and was basically accosted by the employee wearing mechanic gloves as he reached into my rolled down window to give me a good look at his face as it nears me?? I’m not sure his intentions other than to display he didn’t read my body language as you need to back away from my window immediately. I told him I only need an oil change and he said to pull into the bay and come inside. After pulling in he walked me into the building and proceeded to tell me where the bathrooms and coffee/water were located in the 300sq ft building. Then I was left at the counter as he and another employee proceeded to drain the oil from my vehicle, pull my filter, pour washer fluid into the reservoir that drained into the floor, had they taken the time to speak to me prior I could have saved them the mess and waste as the tank is cracked and does not hold any. After waiting 10 or more minutes the same employee who accosted me as the window asked to have me step outside to tell me what they thought I needed. “We only do what is factory recommend for all vehicles” we recommend high mileage synthetic which starts at $72.99 for 5 quarts.I told him as I had before I only want a basic oil change. Which starts at $42.99 but I would need to pay more as my vehicle requires 5.75 quarts.At this point there was nothing to do but agree as all the oil in my vehicle had already been drained.Cost for this terrible experience was $57...my normal oil change is $40 flat. This will not be a repeat experience for me as it just solidified why I am loyal to my mechanic even if I need to make an appointment.

I took my vehicle in recently in the evening and there were no other cars there, my oil was changed quickly and the two men working were very polite. My only complaint is that, upon entering the bay it was clear by smell and by the workers eyes that they had been smoking weed. I have no problem with what people choose to do in their own homes, just wish it wasn’t done at work. It is slightly concerning to have someone under the influence of anything, working on a vehicle. Just don’t want any mistakes to be made!

At the place I used to take my car, Id have to schedule an appointment for a simple oil change and then wait forever and ever while they did it. Jiffy Lube was the exact opposite. Brought it in on a lunch break and was in and out within 10-15min. Staff was friendly and professional. Will definitely be returning for future services.

I just had the BEST experience here. After taking my car to repair shops, the dealer, and friends no one could figure out why my car was making a rattling sounds. This has been going on for 3+ years. The staff took one look at my exhaust, figured out the cause, AND fixed it within 15 minutes.

Updated review: the customer service team at this location continually works hard to ensure everyone who comes through has respect and proper care for their vehicles. Our vehicles are important pieces if equipment that aide in our every day lives. The team here knows that and do everything they can to make sure your vehicle is well taken care of. Former employees spitefully write reviews about these hard workers to demean their work ethics. I always take my vehicle to this location because they will do whatever they can. Overheard of some cases where they can not work on a particular vehicle because doing the service being asked could potentially cause harm to a vehicle so they so not want to cause any trouble that could cost you even more. They truly care about your experience. And thats why I keep going back. Check it out for yourself, be your own judge. Reviews help To a certain extent but when a company loses an employee, they can potentially create a lot of issues for the company they no longer work for due to feelings that they were unfairly let go. Its a childish effort when the former employee tries to interrupt good business by saying untrue things about a company.When I went there to get a simple oil change, the staff greeted me so fast. They were so pleasant, they didnt try to take advantage of me. I was so pleased with the service because they just went above and beyond your every day customer service. I mean they did a fast and efficient job taking care of my car. Its all thanks to new Manager and his crew. I felt like they really knew what they were doing. If you want your car taken care of then go here. They got you!

They spend alot of time trying to upsell over and over. Plus after they drove my car out of the bay and handed me the keys. We drive away and when we got to walmart I noticed the hood wasnt fully latched. If I would have gotten on to the Hiway and went full speed it could have been a disaster.

Excellent Service

I always go to this Jiffy Lube to have my oil changed, yesterday was a terrible experience for my. I was greeted, was shown the inside, told where the rest room, water and coffee are. I needed to use the restroom. It was filthy, it had urine all over the seat. Did look or smell clean at all. Second, I was taken out to be shown the cost and things of the oil changes, mine was 41ish, and I had a coupon, I made the comment that some of those prices was too high and if I had to pay that I would not be back. I chose my price and went back inside. I then heard the guy Jason tell his coworker what I said, he said extremely loud BYE. After that they started working on my car, the one under my car was yelling, grunting and using the F word the whole time he was under there, everyone in the lobby said it must be bad for him to be making those sounds. I was appalled. Turns out my oil filter is in a hard to reach place. I asked Jason what the problem was for the other gut to be acting like that. He told me he was not cussing, yelling or doing anything. I HEARD AND WATCHED IT ALL. At this point I dont know if they replaced my oil filter. I watched them squirt oil on it. Is this normal. I called there to speak to the manager this morning and guess who the manager is? JASON. No resolve to this situation and he was still trying to tell me this guy was not behaving the way myself and the whole lobby heard him behave.

I have been a loyal customer with jiffy lube for 6 years. The last couple years I have come to find that the lack of quality in their work completely offsets the convenience. Not only have I had bad experiences but my friends constantly say what terrible service they received.The last time I came to this location they did not screw my oil cap on tightly. Ive been leaking oil this entire time and havent been able to tell it was me because I park on the street and its hard to tell when Im leaking fluid. Ive driven 3700 miles like this.On top of that, I am a business partner with this location. I offer them 50% all services through my business. Last time that I mentioned that the manager said all that he could discount me was $5 off. I had already went on their website to see what discounts they had and found a $10 off coupon!Another time at the wornall location, the reps were very unprofessional and the clerk behind the counter was sleeping... AND SNORING!!!!I thought about coming to the store to talk to the manager but the lack of ethics in business and care for their customers... I decided to just send in the bad feedback this way. I dont trust the management. Maybe itll save someone else the pain and possible damage to their vehicle. Either way, I will never be coming back to jiffy lube at any location.

I’ll start that we use Jiffy Lube for our fleet trucks, I’m not posting a five star review because of that fact. The last Jiffy Lube I had used in Texas did a terrible job during maintenance. They were very slow to just do a simple oil change, over tightened my oil filter and drain bolt.This Jiffy Lube offered a much better, straight forward, experience. They damn well made sure I was in and out in a jiffy! Corrected Texas’ JL mistakes that were made by completing a proper maintenance check up on my truck. The staff was very kind and made the experience worth it!Thanks for the help guys and getting me on my merry way!

Fast and efficient

Vehicle was running like a champ until I came to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. It took 1hr 30min them to change my oil. Hadnt even drove 10 miles after and I broke down. Something is up and good luck reasoning with them if this happens to you.

Took my new vehicle in for an oil change. They did not replace the oil cap correctly. Went out of town days later. Oil cap came off while driving. Oil all over the engine & car. Car broke down. Had to replace the insulation pad on the hood.......it was saturated with oil. If we had not stopped when we did my engine would have been ruined. How hard is it to put an oil cap on correctly? NEVER go here. It doesnt take alot of intelligence to change oil correctly

Stripped my oil pan plug. Tried to fix it by slipping a bunch of goop on it hoping I wouldn’t notice.The only reason I am giving two stars is because after a bit of back and forth they not only fixed it, but refunded us the price of the oil change. So at least they made it right. But still wouldn’t repeat.

I dont even wanna give 1 star the manager at this jiffy lube refused to service my vehicle because it had a power steering leak witch I informed him before!!! I travel a lot and I really needed a oil change and he refused me service!!!! I will never ever take my vehicle to this place what a joke

I should have looked at the reviews before I went there. There is no value there for the price. I shouldve taken my XTS to the dealership.I would expect that paying a premium price for oil change service that I would get the service that I paid for. This is not the case for this location. After I paid for it and went to the car the technician told me that he was unable to reset the oil change warning that I was getting in my car. He said that I would have to go back to the dealership to you have it reset. How annoying is that? I have never had this trouble with anyone else before. However, he stated that he didnt know how to reset it. He didnt put out an effort to do it either. This will keep popping up ever time I start my car and remind me of this bad experience!Then of course we mounted the windshield sticker crooked and sideways and hanging off the side of the front glass. Although this is minor, its the minor details count when youre paying for premium service.

My truck started to smoke after a oil change

Second bad experience in a row, so I decided to share my most recent oil change. I used a Groupon for a semi synth oil change. The technician kept trying to upsell EVERYTHING! I just changed the air filter 6 weeks (for $16) & he said it was dirty & needed replaced. I asked him to show it to me & it still looked nearly new to me....that was awkward for him! The filter on his screen said $17+/- but he said it would cost $34 to replace. After he ran thru my charges about disposal fees & extra oil required for my Tahoe then offered a transmission service for some outrageous amount. I told him no again...just want the Groupon oil change. All said and done, I spent $30 on top of what the Groupon cost. Got home & looked at the receipt & the knucklehead charged me $4.99 for the rainex application that he said was included free with the Groupon & they never even did the application! Not just bad or incompetent service, but they lied about my filter needed changing & lied about about rainex being included in the Groupon, charged me for it & then didnt even do it!I wouldnt trust them to do anything, much less high end service like transmission maintenance. They cant even apply rainex & I was lied to twice. Ill find a new chain or local shop to do business with. They do bad business!
