Determinedly finished a HUGE rear suspension job for me in above average time so that I could drive my vehicle home that evening vs. finishing the job the following morning. Their service was greatly appreciated, and my vehicle drives significantly better now! 👌😀

After I took time off of work and took my car in for repairs, They did absolutely nothing to my vehicle. Keep in mind I had an appointment and sat there and waited for over 3 hours! It was a totalneadtecof my precious time!!! They finally came out to tell me that they ordered the wrong part! REALLY! This isnt the first bad experience Ive had with them! Welp, its the end of the road for me. Im done! They dont even deserve one star!!

I was impressed with this business. My brakes were making A grinding noise. I took it in for a free inspection and brake special . They told me the brakes were fine and the noise was from rust. They did not charge me. I went back later with another car. They had no appointments available, but told me to drop it off. It was done in 24 hours. Very friendly.

My cars needed to be state inspected for plate renewal. Jeremy and his team got both my cars in and out quickly. One car needed a bit of help to pass. They took care of those issues and I was out. Thanks for taking care of my vehicles.

Ive had a number of services performed on my vehicle at this location over the years. My experience has been a pretty good one. I would recommend calverts auto Express.

I needed a safety inspection and they were able to fit me in the same day even though everyone else was “booked up”. I know inspections only pay $12 so they aren’t priority. But, I’m thankful this shop saw me as a customer and took care of me with little wait!

They fixed me up with new brake pads and rotors, plus an oil change, same-day with no appointment. And all for a very competitive price. Ill definitely be going back next time I need work done.

I went to get inspection. And they told me that I needed a back brake light. They tried to charge me $30 to replace it I told them no I will replace it myself. I get home check the brake lights and there was nothing wrong with it. I thought by getting an oil change and an inspection at the same time would save me some time. I got there around 2:30 pm and did not leave until 4:15. This is not their first. I watch them rip off others while I was waiting. They are lucky I have 2 kids at home to take care of because if I did not. I would happy to go to jail. Just so that place get investigation. Because the person that talk to me about the inspection was not the inspector on the wall. So not sure that person was ever certified. I also had an appointment so there should have been no reason why it took that long.

Their customer service is not great but they did what I asked them to do and did a good job.

We have taken our vehicles here several times over the years and always gotten good service - until about a year ago. Sloppy work and rookie mistakes almost broke the engine in my vehicle. One visit basic, expected repair required 4 visits and two tows to get completed correctly. I will not be back and can no longer recommend this shop.Seeing the reply, I want to add that we did contact the regional office after the 3rd visit and received complete indifference. That truly confirmed our poor experience. I do not know what kind of staff this location has today, but my latest experience thoroughly convinced me to not return.

The guy at the front desk was very friendly, I just needed an oil change and they didnt have any openings that week but he told me they were doing walk-ins the next week. I brought my car back the next week, same friendly guy in front and I was in and out very quickly. Also, they have the cheapest oil change price

I arrived early..My appointment wasnt until 1...but the guy from the shop came out and let me know he could take care of me now. I was thankful and I left pleased. Everything seem to be ok. I had an oil change and my tire pressure was checked...which was discovered i had too much air in a few of my tires and not enough in one. The guy leveled them out...and the indicator went off. Thank you Calverts express.

I have been taking My car here for years and I’ve never experienced the issues that I have ran into recently. I took my car due to squeaky brakes and grinding noise and I was told to replace the calibers and to get new front brakes, And a hose was suggested but not recommended. We were running a special on break so of course I chose that option which included economy brakes, Which I was not told that economy brakes would equate to the same problem being the squeaky noise. After my first visit I had to return because my front passenger wheel started smoking while driving and would no longer accelerate. I was then told to spend additional money and to go ahead and get the suggested hose as that should resolve the issue. I returned again for the third time with a complaint of the squeaky noise and I have been told now that because I purchased the economy breaks that that is one of the symptoms of having economy brakes is that the squeaky noise will happen intermittently. So I have had no resolution for the thousand dollars that I have spent at this location and have had no mitigation plan to move forward with besides spend more money. Before this experience I would’ve recommended this to all of my family and friends after this I will no longer recommend this to even my slightest enemy. It’s a money trap and they have no customer satisfaction as a priority.

I was in need of an oil change. I drive by this place every morning and afternoon. I stopped in about 830am. I asked if I had to make an appointment and the woman at the counter said they could get it in now. The oil was changed and I was paid for and out of there in less than an hour. I know they have coupons (I didnt remember to take mine of course) that give discounts on basic services. I will definitely go back for my oil changes.

It was so fast I left and I didn’t really need to I knew that they had an appointment in less than an hour from the time that I arrive me and they squeezed me in it was so fast I just can’t believe how quickly they got my oil change done I’m just so grateful that they didn’t try to do anything more than what I need it done or make me wait unnecessarily

Front desk person (woman) was just rude and not happy to do her job. Then tried to overcharge me for the oil change when I had a coupon.

The service was great. I was treated well and with respect, something lacking in other businesses. The work was completed and my vehicle runs great.

Ive had my oil changed several times by different providers. But this one claimed I had a special (annnd more expensive) filter. My change resulted in spending about $10 more than the advertised price. I wasnt happy as this had never happened before with any other oil change service.

I love Calverts. Ive always felt like their employees have treated me well and had my best interest in mind. Im usually very weary of mechanics but Ive consistently had good experiences here so I keep coming back. And you cant beat their oil change price with their coupon!

Not pleasant I normally go to the location on 15th main but was in the area it was raining I asked do they top off fluids the lady said no that was extra didn’t offer then I asked did they set my oil percentage the lady said yes when I got in my car wasn’t set the oil tech had to come out to set that should of been done before presenting me my vechicle every where I go they do a top off

We dropped off 2 cars separately for working us in to his schedule. Good inspection of different problems and prompt service at fair price.

Didnt use there service but they let my daughter use the bathroom very clean and nice id recommend a childs seat of some type tho but hey if need be Ill stop again.

Due to the lousy reviews Ive never been here before, but I needed something simple, so I figured Id give them a try. And. . . . I just got shut down trying to get a 30 tire popped off the bead of a 14 rim. A literal 30 second job in a rim clamp machine.The reviews are bad for a reason. Go somewhere competent.Edit: After owners response.There is no ticket. I told them Ive got a 30 tire off my UTV and I need the back bead popped off. I.E. Roll it to the tire machine, align it, step on peddle, rotate, align, step on peddle, done. Literally a 30 second job and they wouldnt do it. I told the lady its a 30 DOT tire on a 14 wheel. Nope. Manager said no and they wouldnt even look at it. I took it to Discount Tire who broke it down for free.Once again, you have bad reviews for a reason. Yelp, Google, Angies list all 0-3 stars.

Tried to rip me off. Refused to do the 59$ brakes as advertised. Said rotor were damaged but they were in great shape. Would NOT recommend.

I went to Express to see if they could change my bulb on my Cadillac CTS and how much that would be. After a 2 hour wait (I had to leave to go to work), they called me and quoted a price of $1,085.00 dollars. Wow, just to change a headlamp bulb? I know that I have the HID light bulb and it is more expensive than the regular bulb, but surely it doesnt cost that much. They said the resistance sensor (or something like that) would also need to be repaired. I just went back up there and got my car. I called around and another shop told me $200.00 (with parts, labor, and tax). They have ordered the parts and I have my appointment for Wednesday. The lesson; shop around and make the best decision for your auto needs. I wouldnt have been able to get my headlamp replaced there anyway. I dont have a thousand dollars laying around!

First time visit. Counter person was cold and did not know what they were doing. Had a coupon for an oil change. Told they would get it after the work was done. Work was performed relatively quickly. To my surprise, the coupon price was not honored. I was offered $5 off. Beware if you have a coupon to try and save some money. It may not.

I’ve read some of the other reviews And I find Disappointing that many of the negative reviews are based on price. I’m not sure in today’s world that there’s anything like an inexpensive car repair. This is my second time here and the mechanics and service lead have taken me into the garage and showed me exactly what the issues are. They’ve gone as far as to show me what is necessary and what items could wait. They’ve also showed me other areas of concern that may or may not be related to the issue I brought the car in for.Therefore, they have given me options both times as to what course of action I would like to take. In fact, they even offered potential inexpensive alternatives if certain problems reoccurred. I found their prices to be quite competitive even without coupons.I think the service manager’s name was Jamie, if you have questions he seems extremely knowledgeable and willing to take the time.The only reason I give it a four surrounds the General reception area, the chairs were pretty disgusting, I’m not sure they spend much time cleaning it and there was a borderline questionable movie playing on the TV when there were kids in the waiting area. Sometimes it’s small things like that.As for the car repair, everything seems to be great, fair prices, and quick service.

I drove 40 minutes to get brakes changed, sat for an hour and a half to be told they wouldnt be able to do my brakes, because the parts they ordered were too big for my car. This was the first time Ive went another route other than my dealership out of necessity, definitely my last!

This guys are awesome. Theyre the best in Kansas city. They were recommended to me by another auto service. You will be amazed at how fast they are on getting your car fixed. I went to 3 different auto services for 3 days but they couldnt figure out what was wrong with my car. I went to Calvert and it was done in 3 hrs. Great and friendly workers too.

Went for an oil change and a free break check. Only supposed to cost 20$. Walked out paying over 300$ because they messed up the break calipers. Car had no issue getting there on the highway at 70 mph. Once leaving car wouldnt get over 40 and the tire started smoking. A coincidence that the checked the breaks then had issues after a simple check. If you can find a rock on the side of the road check to see if they can work on your car before these yahoos.

Been here since 7:30. Need brake shoes on rear. With a million Ford Fusions on the road, they did not have my brake shoes in stock. 3 hours later I am still sitting here. Plus workers smoke while fixing your car. Not cool to those of us who don’t smoke cigarettes. First and last time here.

Took the car in for a front end alignment on special for $59.99 and a oil change for $16.99 They tried to get me to buy $700 in tires before they would do the alignment. When I declined they charged me $39.99 for looking at my car which they basically did nothing but tell me to buy new tires. The oil change couldnt be given to me at the coupon price either

Its a good place for all your car needs but they are money hungry like someone else posted. Also I came at 12:45 for an oil change and there were only 2 customers in the lobby and they said they were not taking any more customers today because they were full. Its really sad that you cant get good car care from honest mechanics that wont lie and bleed you to death.

I hope they have improved but at this time this is the most accurate rating I can give this company for total customer service experience.

Wow, I should have listened to the reviews, but this was a convenient location so I brought my car in to fix a nail in the tire. They told me it was unfixable and wanted to sell me a 300 dollar tire. I took it to another shop and they said it was an easy patch and fixed it for a fraction of the cost. Either dishonest or incompetent, avoid this place.

It took a loooooong time too get a oil change. So long dont remember how long. 1400 $ rack and pensions, and right arms. I believe thats alot. My hood of my car was popped had to ask. Are you done working on my 🚗? I guess oil change was 👍 no 🛢 light on.

This is my go-to when I need an oil change. The receptionist was very courteous and helpful. She said the wait would be 90 minutes but it ended up being shorter. On a side note, I would not bother with the Raytown store. I went their first but no one was at the front desk and the receptionist was short with me. Plus the wait was 2 1/2 hours. So skip the Raytown location and go to this one.

This place is a scam ! I went to get brake work done and my breaks still make a horrible noise . When I took it back up there they told me it was because cheap break pads were used . And it isn’t like I provided brake pads . I paid them to do the work and they used their own parts ! Just for my car to sound the same way it did when I brought it in . I will be calling cooperate, I hate when SCAM ARTISTS take advantage of hard working people. I work at a law firm so they’ve definitely ran into the wrong client this time .Take your car to people who will do the job right! And this is not the place !

I have been going to Calverts on 40 Highway in Kansas City, MO for the past 1 1/2 years. The service is always above any other shop I have dealt with! One of the managers Brian is always very attentive to any questions I have. The waiting area and the bathrooms are ALWAYS clean, which I think is key to making people comfortable while they wait. I strongly recommend if you want an friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced shop to take you check them out!

Do not TRUST these people and do not go here. This is the typical auto place that will lie and try to charge you for work that does not need to be done. I took my father in laws car in for an inspection which is taken car of at the dealer every oil change. They said it would not pass and I needed work to be done, I knew better and took it to Missouri Highway Patrol and they reinspected and absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle, So they stamped my inspection and had to take back and get my sticker, Hopefully they will get fined and stop doing this to people.

We have 2 trucks, and first thing in the morning we can drop 1 off. And they still have time to get our second one done before they close.

My radiator was leaking. Took in the same day and had repaired. Quick and convienent.

Way overpriced. Every time I take my car for a oil change, the prices always change even when I have a coupon. Last time I took my car to see what was wrong with it, they quoted me 1,600 to fix it when I took it somewhere else to which they charged me only 500.

My husband went in today with a leaking brake line on his F150, he had breaks when he arrived they gave him a $305 estimate to fix it. My husband cannot afford that so when my husband tried to leave he had no brakes they blew his brake line 😡the expected my husband to stay there and pay $300 to fix something that they in a long-run blew!!! my backyard mechanic got it fixed for $30 worth of parts and $50 labor in this winter weather. Dont go there!!!

Had a good experience here. They took care of my brakes and when I had an issue when it was done I was able to bring it back and wasnt charged. Will definitely come back.

In Jan 2016 I came to get hub and alignment done. I paid over 200 to get it done. Two days later my car was worse. I went back he said it coulde be anything. Never fixed the problem. One month later I went to Firestone and told me that I need a hub and alignment, whoever put it on wrong, didnt do it correctly. So I had to get the same work done again, but the correct way. Never going back again to Calvert express. They need to hire people who knows how to fix cars and not make them worse.

If I could give them a zero rating I would. They denied me an oil service change 20 minutes before they closed which I understand is cutting it close to time but they would not even agree to stay later just to help me out. To me that is terrible business.

I have never been to THIS location but... I do KNOW they are COMPLETE RIP OFFpeople!!!!A vehicle was taken in to a different location to see what was causing it to shake SOO badly when trying to drive it. THEY said all kinds of things NEEDED replaced in the front end parts.. Estimated the charge at about 350.00. I then took it to a friend who also works for an auto repair, and...... the problem was... ONE bad TIRE!!!!!Also.. They do NOT honor their so called oil change special prices. When you go, they ALWAYS find and exclusion .So in ending, my advice would be ...Do NOT go there!!!!!!

I am thinking about to Calverts Express today to get my breaks done. I have had an estimate that I paid for. I will see if Calverts is lower, higher. Will see if Calverts has the same diagnosis as the other car shop. I have also been looking at firestone reviews online, both seem skeptical, but we will see.
