Where to start... I replaced the shocks in my 94 F150 and I wanted to verify the alignment. I spoke with Shane on the phone and told him I was running a few minutes behind and he said that it wasn’t a problem, he was as well. I thought it was nice that someone was at least honest with me. I got there and was shocked to just see Shane and another employee named Josh running around trying get everything done. When Shane checked me in, I made the comment about being short staffed (I’m thinking to myself that the service would lack). Shane called me 30 minutes later and said that my truck was aligned and said it was ready for pickup! I was blown away. Everywhere else has always taken an hour minimum. Great service and great people! Thanks again.
Crooks that work on mostly commission so they can and will lie to you. Avoid at all costs. For example they will tamper with your vehicle if you go in for an inspection since they know you need it passed. And theyll try to charge like 2000$ even if only your front tires are slightly worn and say you wont pass unless its fixed. Liarstone. Dont give me your automated canned response either or ill log into several other accounts and leave even more negative reviews. Im happy to do it to help people avoid you useless liars.
I have had some alignments and suspension inspections done, always fair on price, fast friendly service with knowledgeable techs.
From customer service job done right first time around good job
Very helpful and was able to repair my car at a reasonable rate.
Service manager Shane tells me my truck is ready. I walk 2 miles just for him to tell me in person, its not. Every Firestone I have brought my vehicles to. Never lied to me. This manager tells me after I walk 2miles up there. That my truck isnt ready and still doesnt run! Not sure how you made service manager. When your telling customers lies and apparently you dont talk to your employees. My truck was towed to Firestone! Apparently its still not fixed. My husband fixs vehicle. We told him what was wrong. And yet I get there and Shane is like, well it still doesnt run. You need a new battery! My battery is 3 days old! Firestone in independence needs better managers!
Had my tire replaced. Quick and reasonably priced service.
Great service and fast! Manager is a knowledgeable professional in their field.
They service all my vehicles - 5. Sometimes too expensive but always do a good job.
Shane was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about getting my truck road-worthy again! I will definitely be back
Matt was friendly and helpful. I went here because they were doing appointments.
Always go above and beyond. Never trying to get me to buy stuff i dont need. Let me know what i do need and level of importance so i can budget what i can afford at what time.
They are not 100% Honest about what is wrong with your vehicle. I will NEVER take my car to any Firestone locations!!
They are really good on it .Just I really recommend first set up a appointment.
Called to see if I could get a state inspection and rather than say no, we dont do those on sundays the man who answered the phone was very rude about it and had venom in his voice as if it offended him that I didnt know it couldnt be done by state requirements, when Ive never had to try to do it on a sunday so I wasnt aware of that restriction. Very condescending and made me feel very uncomfortable.
Good people good service
Awesome place. Great work. Great experience. I spent $2000 and dont regret it at all.
Ive been a customer with Firestone for a few years now and very rarely have I ever had complaints. Theyre super quick and friendly at this particular location and I would definitely recommend them to others!
Got new tires and oil change there done a great job and got done in a timely manner.
Went to get an oil chg an new tire.the got me in quick then came in with a air filter that was dirty an said I needed a new one this was $25 an I also needed a cabin air filter but didnt show me that one. ( cause there wasnt one in it) for $51. in the mean time they were changing my oil an I was watching that. then I cancelled the filters I can get them cheaper than that. an when I did that all of a sudden they couldnt find the tire they said they had. so I of the oil chg an left. took it to another place Cottman Transmission an car care in indep.23 & noland to b exact. the put in the 2 filters, an an found the issue with tire an I liked the 2plugs for the holes I had its only a quick fix till I can buy another tire. but Firestone on dodging an noland would not do plugs in tires. not satisfied with them at all. u will go to the place that fixes it. even if its only a quick fix. my filters were $7 for the one an $15 for the cabin filter for my car. I would not recommend that Firestone as they sock it to women as they are dumb an stupid. so we can over charge they wont no the difference. an I hope headquarters if Firestone see this.
We got a flat tire on the way through town and they got us right in and back on the road!
Excellent job5 stars *****
Went in for simple radiator flush, quoted almost 500 for flush and they said I needed a thermostat and/or water pump. Said engine had no flow through radiator. Went and got second opinion, was told radiator has flow but should change thermostat when radiator is replaced as it was leaking. Mechanic even showed me where it was leaking. Mechanic asked about previous work done and told him I repaired it myself. He said just do it yourself, save the labor.Even told firestone I would just do it myself for that cost, guy just laughed like it was difficult. Use to get tires and take other vehicles to firestone. Not ever again. Would rather use local tire shop for tires than big box store these days.
Quick service and great service adviser! Just needed a tire mounted and balanced and it took less than 15 minutes. The service adviser was already friendly. I did notice when I got home they threw away my green tire valve and replaced it with a black one. Kind of wished they gave me the green one back so I can put nitrogen air back in it if I wanted to.
Great service
Too expensive and my car still noisy
We were close to having a flat and trying to leave for vacation. We spent seven hours trying to have someone fix or change our tire and Eric Boyd fixes it in 30 minutes! He saved the day! And now I am all about Firestone!
Amazing coustomer service!! Thank you guys for everything!!
I took my MINI here for an oil change. They are BETTER mechanics and MORE PROFESSIONAL service techs than the ones at the BMW dealership. Even though my car is still under warranty Im bringing my car to Firestone for service from now on. I dont need the fluff and fskeness from the dealership I need HONESTY snd integrity from ppl working on my car. Thanks for fixing my car and correcting the mistakes made at BARON BMW. Thsnk you for being trustworthy❤️❤️❤️ and btw My car is driving better than ever ❤️❤️❤️
If anyone wants a recommendation, the Firestone on Noland Road & 35th is a great place to go. I had work done before and they did a quality job. Today, on a Sunday, my alternator Fried at 2:30 pm all of a sudden. They trusted my knowledge and diagnostics with only a quick confirmation. They jumped all over it and even ordered the part before I got there. I limped the old 2003 Odyssey to the road next to them. They helped me get it into their bay and started tearing it down even before the part arrived. Having a place like this is golden. I would recommend them to anyone. They went above and beyond. The service manager showed the kind of “can do”, support, and leadership to his technicians, that I only wish all service locations had. Tyler in particular, showed the kind of attitude that his skills and abilities could make the difference and be appreciated. I hope he goes home tonight with a pride in his work and recognition that doing the little extras makes a difference in the lives of others. When I get the official review request from them I will mention the name of the service manager and the tech that helped Tyler. Nice job guys! Keep up the good work
I would like to thank Kou and Brian for providing me excellent service during my visit to Kansas City. Upon leaving for my return to Indiana I noticed I had a tire that had taken a nail. Upon arriving at this Firestone location I was greeted promptly by Brian and after explaining my situation to him he promptly worked me in for service and after a short time Kou got me checked out an upon leaving Brian wished me safe travels. In these days when customer service seems to be lacking I was very impressed by the professionalism of these two individuals.......again thank you both !
Good service. Was honest about the tpms issue i was having. Respectful and decently priced. Would recommend this place over other well known tire shops. Recently went here again and even better service. Covid distance seating available. Shane was awesome to do business with.
Made an appointment for 8am a week in advance but was told when I got there that a simple inspection would take 2 hours. I decided to just leave the car there and have them call me. Well FIVE hours later I had heard nothing so I called and they said it won’t be done until 6pm!! They tried to lie to me and say that an inspection takes 2 hours by itself but I’m not stupid, I got another call asking if I could pick it up in the morning now so I just came and got the keys and took it to a shop that got it done in less than 30 minutes. I will NEVER come here again.
Had a wedding in KC on Saturday and drove from St. Louis. Saturday morning I got my tires rotated and oil changed at a jiffy lube before leaving St. Louis and during our drive from St. Louis to KC car was having some serious issues. Finally made it to KC at 4:30 on Saturday and called no less than 15 mechanic shops that told me they wouldnt be able to help until Monday, until I came across this Firestone location. Called and they were more than willing to accommodate us. They were not only the only place open on Sunday but diagnosed the problem and fixed it. While waiting for our car to get a new radiator, radiator fan, and check to make sure the jiffy lube guys did their job, Matthew personally drove us to a nearby restaurant and picked us up and brought us back to the location when we were finished. The customer service and knowledge was overwhelming and they were amazing. If I lived closer to this shop I would take my cars there anytime I needed anything done to them. I am strongly considering driving all the way to this location from St. Louis anyway, because a great auto mechanic shop, that has your best interest at heart, is very difficult to find these days. Thank you all so much for restoring my faith in your industry. Now we just need Matthew and his crew to open a location in St. Louis. On a scale of 1-10 they are a 15!! Great work and amazing people to deal with.
I went in for a state inspection, I had a 12 PM appointment time and waited over 1 hour and a half. They even had someone come in after me who replaced tires and left before me.I failed the inspection because of a 3rd brake light that was not working. I asked if they could replace it and they said a bulb was changed on it and still did not work. The truth is that it was led and there was no effort to check it. They did offer to charge me $65.00 an hour to find the problem.
Great service
If you go to this Firestone you will get awesome service. Eric met me & checked me in & answered all my questions. Jason was the technician that changed my oil & rotated my tires. After he drove my car out, I mentioned maybe getting my front & back wipers changed (it was pouring rain at the time). Eric checked to see if they had ones to fit my Kia, they did & Jason went out in the pouring rain to change them for me even after I offered to pull it back in (I had an umbrella) 😉 I love going to this Firestone on Noland Road & the one in Raytown on 350 Hwy as they don’t try & sell you something you don’t need or try to get you to get a service you don’t need either. They are honest & do great work. You won’t be disappointed if you go here. 😉 Happy New Year!
Good service at a good price
This place is amazing quick good at what needed and very respectful professional caring and understanding i would recommend to everyone
These guys helped me out in a pinch late on a Saturday. Honest, friendly and the shop and showroom are super clean. Great job Kou!
This Firestone is just an awesome repair shop. Gabe S helped me today and was very helpful as usual. They had my Jeep in and out in less than an hour.
Preston is so nice! He thoroughly explains things and makes you feel comfortable. The service at this location is amazing and I was able to book a same day service appointment online. My service was also way quicker than expected!
Good job on oil change. Nice older gentleman at front desk. Bare with him.
The sales guy at the counter tried to sell me something I KNOW I didnt need, which was a little concerning but they got me in quickly and got the job done. Only because of this will I give you a good review, but watch out if you dont know whats happening to your vehicle. Staff was friendly otherwise.
Got a bad flat tire while travelling through to St Louis MO. They had me back up and running in minutes. Awesome service and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Great service
Nice people glad to help and wanna be at work
Went here for a front end wheel alignment after I replaced my upper control arms and ball joints. They wanted to charge me 2 hours labor to remove the alignment shims that are part of the factory alignment setup. 1st, I can remove them in 10 minutes. 2nd, your not charging me labor for work I did myself. The staff is a little dense and is just trying to rip off customers.
We had just bought a car. Tire sensor said a tire was low. The man took time away from his work to check all 4 of my tires. Very good customer service. He was very amiable.
Donna was great. Great customer service. The service tech was extremely knowledgeable. I will go back for any other repairs I made need to have done.
Brad did a diagnostic on my brothers car and was very thorough and detailed with his diagnosis. He even took several minutes to come outside and answer our questions and offer multiple options moving forward. He was very professional and friendly and caused the experience to be a very possitive one.
I cant speak to the quality of the work because I wasnt able to get that far. I made an appointment online for an alignment and was given the full price to be paid minus the taxes. When I was checking my vehicle in the lady helping me gave me a price that was $10 more and also had a $12 incidentals fee. I asked about both and the answer was, thats what we charge. When the manager came over to help he lowered the price to the one quoted online but refused to remove the incidental fee. I asked him at least five times to explain it but he couldnt or wouldnt. He then said that he intended to call me to let me know that he couldnt do an alignment on my vehicle because, you have a Euro-freakin-van, what do you expect! Take it to somebody that works on those. He said this as he was puffing up his chest and walking towards me in a childish attempt at being aggressive. So needless to say I didnt get the work done on my car and am disappointed in this persons manner of conducting himself. I wanted to point out the quote that he was standing under which was from the companys founder Mr. Firestone but I figured that it might not be taken very well. It said, I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business. I dont believe that management at this Firestone is living up to Mr. Firestones expectations.
Over aggressive on phone
Good service, great employees, very honest. Brian is the service manager, was very helpful
I used to trust this shop, took my vehicle in for routine maintenance before having to do some long drives for work and let them know what was going on and asked them to make sure it was safe. Took them all day and when I finally got a call to pick it up they told me it all checked out. Took my work ticket home and discovered multiple things had been written up as being bad/ worn and needed to be replaced. Thanks to this Im going to have to delay things to get it checked again and possibly have repairs made, only Firestone just lost that business and Ill go somewhere else.
Had a brake caliper lock up and brought it in to be replaced. I have a new rotor and brake pads, but they refused to replace just the caliper. So I was forced to buy new brake pads and a rotor that I didnt need. I then was told that the process had introduced air into the line, and that they would fix it without charging me extra. HOWEVER, when I picked up my car, I found that my brakes were almost unresponsive. I have to put the pedal all the way to the floor to stop. This is very unsafe, especially on the highway. When I returned, five minutes later to explain this, I was told that it was a courtesy to bleed my lines (which it may indeed be), and that I had to pay an additional $80 to replace my brake fluid, to make my brakes responsive and functional again. My breaks were grinding, but functional when I brought the car in.
Ive been going here for all our automobile repair needs, for several years now. Theyre always very polite and accommodating. One of the few repair shops thats open on Sundays and holidays. Call ahead, to make sure they have parts in stock for what you need done.
Cant complain. Oil change was cheaper than valvoline.
Help my mom to get some new tires for her Toyota Yaris she was in a bind and she was actually short $40 in a letter get the tires no matter what the manager just said dont worry about the getting rid of fees he was so nice I dont remember his name but I wanted to ask him out he had a cute smile and look good in uniform
I made the mistake of having an oil change at the Raytown location of Firestone 2 weeks ago. Today my car was making a weird noise and I pulled over and looked underneath and there was oil everywhere. The Noland Firestone was the closest shop so I went in and they fixed it and cleaned it up at no charge. Turns out the tech at the Raytown location that changed my oil failed to tighten my drain plug. It could have totalled my car because of their incompetence.Im so happy I gave Firestone a second chance. My mechanic Walter at Noland made me feel confident that my car was in good hands. The Manager was super supportive and made sure I was taken care of. Even the female that took down my information was outstanding and empathized.I will never go anywhere else for my vehicle repairs. I highly recommend this Firestone!
First impression is really good customer service! I would have loved to take my vehicle but I since I needed my vehicle serviced asap I had to go elsewhere.
The only thing I dont like is that I always have to argue a little because I literally know more than they do partially to do with corporate brainwashing Be careful they dont sell you A rack and pinion when you only need to tie rod or a hose...... And be careful They dont sell you brake calipers and all new hoses when you only need brake pads and rotors 95% of the time 4year old car doesnt need Brand new parts that last 30 in 40 years easy Any other time
Went for a vehicle inspection for my truck that passed in December but they failed it wanting over $300 for 2 cracks in my head/tail lights. Went down the street to a private mechanic and was passed. Its not a matter of if this place will rip you off its a fact that they will rip you off.
Great service .. And the service manager was kind enough to tell us anything wrong they found and didnt try to pressure us for extra money by lying ..
They took care of me
Great as always, battery was expensive but i dont think thats their fault
Waiting list for oil change
Always a friendly staff. Theyre usually busy but worth the wait in my opinion. Great deals on tires and services.
Great employees. They were very helpful, and got the job done when nobody else around could
Showed up at 5 minutes until close. Was helped immediately with an appointment first thing in the morning. Fast, friendly, and professional service.I went in for my appointment and was given the same prompt service.
Went to a couple places the day before a couple hours before locations closed to see if technicians were available to look at brakes. Everybody is full and went to firestone because its close to home, I made an appointment for 7 am (work night shift and get off at 1:30 am.) Brought the truck up 15 minutes early and waited for them to open. Been sitting here for over 3 hours to change 2 brakes. For those interested in coming here. Dont, nothing is done promptly. Another guy waited 45 minutes for just an inspection. Time is currently 10:30 and still not done.
Do not go to this Firestone. I had my front brake rotors and pads replaced and also my left front end wheel bearing replaced. I had to have the wheel bearing completely replaced because they installed it into a already warped wheel hub which caused the bearing to warp. And they did not assemble the brake rotors and pads correctly which caused them to squeal only two days after having them replaced. I also had them do a general inspection. Before coming into the inspection, I knew my driver side headlight was out, but they noted on the inspection paper that it was fine. Either they did not do the inspection correctly or they did not check my headlights. Either way, it was faulty work. Need less to say, find somewhere else that will do you work correctly so you do not have to spend $800 more at another shop.
Did an ok alignment, will have to go back for a better tech.Tech out right said that he had never done the alignment before. Definetly not good words to hear.Talked to a different tech and he was very knowledgeable and kind to work with.
I took my car in to have a front brake job done. My brakes were grinding and squeaking. They inspected the brakes and determined that I needed my front rotors turned, and new brake pads. They did the work. When I went to pick my car up, it sounded just as bad as it did when i left it. I had two different employees ride with me to hear the grinding. I ended up leaving my car there overnight to get fixed. The next day when i went to get my car it sill had not been fixed. The manager told me that mechanically, my brakes were fine and that if I drove it for a few days the noise would go away....LOL He made no effort to try to determine where the grinding was coming from (at least he didnt say that he did). After a week my brakes have gotten worse. I had to call corporate to file a complaint. I have a appointment for tomorrow to get my brakes reinspected and fixed. I will update after tomorrow.......I dropped my car off and when I picked it up my brakes were just fine. I believe they had to change the rotors again but whatever it was, they fixed the problem. Ive used them several times since and have not had any problems at all.
Great Establishment and Honestl work
Couldnt figure out why the incorrect key wouldnt start my truck. Once I educated them on keys they smoked the new incorrectly installed serpentine belt as soon as they fired the truck. Installed another. Serpentine belt still needed service two months later. Dont bring them a diesel or anything else for that matter. Another Firestone failure.
Great experience
Had tires put on and they didnt even put the right valve stems in!!!!!! Had to go back because my tires were not holding air. They fixed it, so I thought, here Im back again and they are to busy to check this other tire out. Sigh!!! Go someplace else. Just pay more at your dealership. Its worth it.
Got over on me real good. Too pricey. And did unnecessary work.
I havent had a problem yet with them.Very polite, courteous, prompt service.
This place rocks great service very politeU dont even have to go to a dealership to get what u need fixed very flexible fair pricing. And look for discounts on line as well .Will continue going there .
You want auto repair cheap, fast, and right. In reality you can get two of those. These guys arent super fast or super cheap, but they seem to get as close as Id hope.
They are liars and theives! I needed an alignment on my car. Firestone tried to tell me it was not alignable due to bad control arms. Which were bran new! My friend replaced them. They tell me it will cost over $700 to fix then they can do the alignment. So I leave and set up an appointment at KC complete auto on Noland Rd. They look the car over and do the alignment for 90 bucks. Tell me I will need struts in the future. Do not go to Firestone.
Horribly understaffed, I have bought the last 8 tires from this location and they couldnt work me in for an easy nail in tire repair. Tried 3 times this week and they wanted to schedule me for NEXT WEDNESDAY! Really?!! My tire is under warranty and Im losing air pressure every 48 hours.....
I recently had my tires balanced at Firestone. I was informed that I had a bad cv shaft. As I was being shown the faulty part, I witnessed the guy who had balanced my tires rolling them from the machine to my car. He had the front of one rim rubbing against the back of another. My wheels are 20 DUB Shorelines which I paid well over $2000 for in May of 09. I waited until I got back to work to inspect the wheel. Just as I suspected, the lip of my wheel is all scratched up. Im sure overall, the store on Noland is good. However, if you have custom wheels which require special care and treatment, I would recommend going elsewhere.**I decided to give them another chance and have them do an alignment on my car after I replaced my suspension and cv shafts. The man at the counter remembered me and had a very negative attitude with me. After waiting almost an hour, he informed me that my tie rods were bad and an alignment would be futile unless I fixed the tie rods. I took my car to Goodyear the next day to have the tie rods fixed and they told me the tie rods are in perfect working order. UNBELIEVABLE!
I really disappointed because I been a customer for 9 years and I had a issue with my car they broke a piece from the oil filter when they change the oil and and didn’t want to respond for it and all the oil from my engine oil was completely empty and they didn’t want take my car in too fix there mistake they just lost a good customer
Everytime I do drop off service. It takes then all day. Even when Im the 1st costomer of the day. They start on other vehicles before mine. It shouldnt take 4 hrs for an oil change when you were the 1st costomer of the day
Women beware will try to sale maintenance thats not need got to 291
Wouldnt take my gokart there
Chances are if you go to this location you will leave with fewer parts than you came in with. Check your car before you pay for anything if you make the mistake of coming here
They fixed my car right, in a timely manner and they were very nice.
Guy at front desk had an attitude. The girl was very nice.
Got all 4 tires and an alignment (4hrs) at Noland location now the front end shakes bad .. returned the car and they checked it (3hrs) then told me it was my not the tires or the alignment, even though it drove fine before they screwed it up.. So I had another firestone at 23rd & 291 look at it, they concluded the new front passenger tire was severely out of round, and they replaced it free.. they fixed the INCORRECT alignment also... now the car is smooth.. Dont waste your time at the noland location!!!
Apparently, making an appointment for an oil change still means you have to wait three hours. Here I was, thinking that appointments saved you the hassle of waiting for an extended period of time. How foolish I was!
They always take care of me, here. Thanks guys.
Worst service ever and rude girl at counter, dropped my car off early in the day after calling and said they could get to it that day, called me at closing time saying they couldnt do it after wasting my time that I could of taken it somewhere else and had it done, no apologies or anything, just rude excuses and lies saying she never said for sure that they could do it. Please it was a 15 minute inspection.
I purchased tires for my car, the services was excellent
You would be better off dropping your vehicle off and coming to get it when its done.
This location r rocks we love you and your place
Friendly, efficient and professional
