They were fast. i went in expecting to be there awhile since i didnt have an appointment. they said they would get to it as so as they could and an hour an a half later they were done.

The folks at Gregs Tire were awesome! Went over a curb about a week ago and it got squirrely enough to take in for the alignment. They did a quick job, took it on a test drive before they even talked to us. Told me about another issue and gave a fair estimate. The total bill was under $90, when the other shops I called in the area were at least $95 before taxes and service fees. Best of all, they are a locally-owned small business. Ill definitely be calling them for an estimate on other work I need done.

This is the second time they’ve got me in on the fly for an inspection after calling about 11 other places that were a week out and the staff is super friendly.

Greg’s Tire was my place! My mom and boyfriend go there for their tires and oil changes based off my recommendation alone. However after today I can no longer recommend them. One of the things I loved about Greg’s was how honest they were. I felt safe going there being able to trust that I wasn’t being taken advantage of. I went today for an appointment to get my wheel bearing replaced. When I arrived they let me know that I showed up the wrong day for my appointment but that they would go ahead and work me in which I appreciated very much (the owner Glen even showed me the appointment book where I was written in for a different day than I showed up). After a couple hours they let me know that my hub would also need to be replaced which would cost me an additional $79 for that part. This bothered me because being the specialists in this area they should have quoted me UP FRONT for wheel bearing only replacement and wheel bearing plus hub replacement. I’m sure it’s a rare occurrence that customers don’t need the hub replaced also.. which Glen says it’s the opposite and that people actually don’t need their hub replaced most of the time. I let the technician know that I couldn’t afford the total price after adding the hub part and I requested that they just put my old parts back on. The technician told me that at that point my wheel bearing was damaged during the removal process and they could either put the bearing back on the hub that needed replacement or I would need to buy the replacement hub and those were my only 2 options. So basically pay them or pay them lol smh. My dad offered to bring me a hub but the technician said he needed to get it there in 15-20 minutes which my dad could not so I ended up just having them add the new hub as well. After waiting over 30 minutes the technician came and informed me he didn’t have the hub in the shop and he was sending someone to Blue Springs to pick it up (so he rushed my dad to bring a part that he himself didn’t even have in the shop). Apparently the only place they could find the hub was from a Hyundai dealership, but he could have at least presented my dad with the option of using his part if he got there before the part from Hyundai did.. instead of putting a time limit on the situation in order to apply pressure. The hub at Hyundai in Blue Springs cost $155 which is $76 more than the hub they first quoted me for. They didn’t charge me the $76 difference which was nice of them, but at the end of the day had I known UP FRONT about the $79 for the hub I would have shopped around for a better price to begin with and neither party would’ve been out of unexpected money. I did let the owner Glen know I was not happy with how they blindsided me with the additional part. He thanked me for letting him know how I felt. There was an older gentleman who no longer works there (Phil) and he was really good about giving estimates for every scenario so there were no surprises. So overall I paid $422.44 for a wheel bearing/hub replacement for my 2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I arrived at 7:30am and left around 12:20pm. I tried to make this review as transparent for both sides as possible so you can decide whether or not this situation would be a deal breaker for you.

One of the mechanics stole my father in laws digital tire pressure gage that was sitting in the cup holder. I don’t recommend this place because of little petty thieves that work there.

I bought a car and needed an inspection done. I decided to come here based on their good reviews and they did not disappoint! I did not have an appointment and they were clearly busy when I got there but they managed to work me in anyway. I was in and out of there in less than 25 minutes. Also I was concerned about the condition of the tires on this car and was thinking I may need new ones but they explained and showed me that the condition of these tires was actually very good and there was no need to replace them any time soon. They even looked up the manufacture date on these tires so I would know how old they actually are. These guys are all courteous knowledgeable and professional and I would highly recommend them! I will definitely be coming back here for any automotive needs I have in the future.

Definitely not friendly staff! They made me feel more like i was bothering them than anything. I have many bad things to say about them but ive already wasted too much of my time on them today. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I had been calling around various places to get an appointment to get my car looked at. I called Gregs and they told me to come in within the hour and they could help. I went to them with a very loud humming that shook my entire car. They were able to get my oil changed and address the issue very quickly. They ran into some issues along the way but got the job done very early the next day. While the part was pricey, the labor was fairly priced for the quality and customer service provided. I will be returning for my regular oil changes and any other work that needs done!***Edit*** 8/29/19Even almost a year later, I still love going to Gregs! Ive been taking my high milage car here for a while and I loved the work theyve done so much, that I started bringing my partner here to get his newer car serviced. Gregs has been leaps and bounds better than the dealership that we were used to going to. They take their time to explain the problem without talking down to the customer. They remain honest and they suggest ways to save money without compromising quality. I love coming here and this was seriously one of the best finds!

Fast service and attention to detail

Gregs did an amazing job making sure that all needed parts were replaced and found the root cause of why the serpentine belt was making noise in the first place. They also warranty their work so when I had an issue with the belt coming off they replaced it free of charge.

Do not trust these guys they will tell you they did work and charge you for it and never did the work at all I found this out when I went to a new mechanic the things that they had said they replaced they did not my mom was a loyal customer to these people for over 35 years yet they screwed her

We stopped with our moving truck that seemed low on air in one tire. Gregs mechanic stopped what he was doing and checked all the tires, free of charge. That brought great peace of mind, especially since we are about to drive 1000 miles! Thank you, Gregs!

Thursday, early morning, went in to get a tire fixed. three in line ahead of me, took less time than expected, was in and out in less than 45 minutes. SMILE.have been going here for years, employees ALWAYS friendly, courteous and thorough with service explanation. prices have gone up a little, but still fair.HIGHLY recommend!!

Since I have AAA towing, they recommended I have my vehicle towed to Gregs Tire Center since theyre a AAA recommended automobile repair facility. My car would intermittently crank and want to start, but still wouldnt. They found that it was a defective wire located in the wiring harness, which was in the drivers side front wheel well. Thats a really difficult issue to diagnose, but they found it and got it repaired in a couple of hours. Please be patient with them because theyre a very busy shop. Theyre busy because theyre good at what they do. Recommended.

I went there for an alignment. I waited 2 hours for the mechanic to tell me they could not do an alignment. I was told of several items needing repairs prior to an alignment. Then I had to pay for the diagnostics for not being able to do an alignment. I was upset it took so long for them to tell me that and that I was not informed of the policy up front regarding a diagnostic charge. When I voiced my concern, the man at the counter became root and even insulting. Lesson learned, always ask if any fees may occur for not getting repairs done, since this shop failed to inform me of their policy at place. I would not recommend Gregs Tire Center.

Went to Gregs to get nitrogen put in my tires. They told me there was a 2 hour wait. I had no problem with this and they got it done in half the time with a much needed oil change. The price was reasonable and the staff very polite. I was very satisfied.

These guys arent just thorough and good at what they do; theyre honest, as well. I took my car in the other day for an oil change, and also to install a new heater core and blower motor. Nick called me a bit later, and asked me to come down and take a look at something. He showed me where the trailing arm area of the frame had rusted almost completely through, and how my car was now a major safety menace.I would never in a million years have ever thought to look at that! They could have installed all that other stuff and THEN told me, but they chose to do the right thing and tell me before I spent all that money on what was now an undrivable car. Ive had a lot of work done at Gregs, and never had a bad experience, yet. This just solidifies that for me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting honest, top-quality work at a very reasonable price.

Every experience Ive had here has been great. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly / competent, and Id return any day for another alignment. To be clear, I visit this shop with specific requests and no diagnostic work on their part.

During the winter storm Gia, I drove here for the Chiefs Colts game. My Jeep told me a tire was low. Went there and they patched it up for me very quick with a very affordable price. Doug is amazing and the team really prides themselves of taking care of their customers honestly.

Great tire service. Had a tire on my camper I had a question/concern about, tech inspected it, gave me some options with out any pressure. Also let me know their tires for trailers had more ply than the ones I had on my trailer, so better quality tire. I decided to replace all 4 and all went extremely well. Will be back again!

At first I was very taken back by the lack of professionalism and high prices, but it changed quickly. And everything got fixed and quickly. Im now extremely grateful and pleased with there services.

They are helpful and normally pretty quick. They dont do schedule d appointments for state inspections and some of the mechanics are a little rude but they still wont screw you.

I have an older model Honda that requires occasional TLC and I go to Gregs to get it. Recently I needed new tires. I called and told them I was coming, which wasnt really necessary, they asked me the size and I quoted the size that was on my car. They said come on in and I did. After I got there, we found out that the last place that sold me tires (they are now out of business) put on the wrong size. Gregs called around and found what I needed, went and got them and got them installed in very short order. They also noticed some other work that needed to be addressed and printed out the reports for that future work. They even numbered them for me to let me know what I needed to get done next. I am impressed with their ability and customer service and highly recommend them for any auto repair, and tires too!

I was pleased with their timeframe and knowledge of what car services that I needed. All car repairs are pricey but they were reasonable and in the center of The Miracle Mile on Noland Road so its perfect for any car inquiry you may have.

Liars working the front...failed an inspection AFTER we told them the car seems to have a small power steering leak ...failed us FOR the power steering leak instead of telling us it would fail do to the leak IN THE FIRST PLACE SO THEY COULD TAKE OUR MONEY & try to charge us to fix the leak!! Woman said it would take 20min and they all went to lunch after checking my car in and had us sitting there for an hour and half waiting on everyone to get back from lunch!!! Horrible horrible customer service & rip off!! Bad biz
