Very helpful from the get go! My salesman, Hector, was not pushy at all and very accommodating. I love how the whole process was basically paperless, too. Much different from when I bought my last car in 2017. I would recommend Cable Dahmer Buick GMC of Independence any day of the week!

Dropped truck for a leak on trade axle. Asked to call before doing any work. Never received a call. In fact they had to keep it over night. Get a call the next day that it was not going to be done due to lack of parts available. Still haven t had a call back to complete work. It’s been 3 week.

The Acadia we purchased is terrific. The sales process was just fine. Good quality people from Zain the salesman to management with whom we reached a bargain. Delivery paper work went smoothly and quickly. But, the car should have been washed (especially the inside of the windshield) and vacuumed. Lose the torn up paper floor mats. This is the the third car I’ve purchased from Cable-Dahmer and, though it was never discussed, promised, or requested I was a little surprised it was so low on gas. All together these are not criticisms, just observations. I’ll definitely consider buying from them again. I’ve always had very good service from this company.

I was satisfied with this visit only because I was treated with respect from the beginning until the end, the staff keep me informed of whats going on instead of me calling all the time. He was friendly and go the extra mile to explain what service they did and also prompted and encourage me of what to do in order to keep my car safe when it comes to my tires. He respects my opinion and awesome in customer service skills. I would rate him the highest in all the visits I have been to the service department. He needs to be given praised for doing an awesome job. I would like to deal with him next time I have problems.

I had an 8 a.m. appointment and I dont believe my car even got touched or test-driven until after 3 p.m. I was told they did not have enough time to really even get to my car that day and there were no loaner cars available as well. My car was not ready to be picked up until the following day after 5 p.m. for a simple diagnostic no repairs were being made check engine light.

I was involved in an accident 8/12/21 and chose to have my vehicle delivered to Cable-Dahmer Buick GMC on Noland rd. Someone called me to schedule the tow and said I would have to wait till 8/17/21 to have my vehicle towed because they were backed up. That was fine. I was told it usually takes about 24 hours to do the estimate. I asked if they could call me with the estimate as well as my insurance. They told me they would. 24 hours turned into a week later when my insurance notified me my vehicle was totaled 8/24/21 at roughly 3-4pm. No one from Cable-Dahmer ever called me. I called them 8/25/21 at 8am to ask them if I needed an appointment to get my stuff out of my car and to remove my license plates off. They told me my car had already been towed off that morning. I NEVER authorized my vehicle to be released. I spoke with Donna and she was never apologetic over THEIR error. She kept telling that she didnt know how it got towed already and that someone released it. She tried blaming my insurance company stating that they must have sent the tow truck. When it was clear that I wasnt taking someone released it as an answer she finally spoke with her staff and stated that Taylor released MY vehicle to insurance and called for a tow truck 8/24/21. How is it that Taylor could do this without my permission? I wanted to clean out MY vehicle and ensure I got all my things and my plates off. Now I have to hope that Copart gets everything and mails it to me.

My wife brought my truck here a few weeks back to patch a tire that was leaking air. It was serviced, paid for, and the issue I thought was resolved. It started leaking air again shortly after that, so I dealt with it for a couple weeks then brought it back in myself. Made an appointment, came on time… they made me wait 2.5 hours, almost until they closed to patch a single tire. That’s not even the best part - on arrival the person helping me told me about a note on my account that they could not find the leak in the tire the last visit. So not only was that not communicated back to my wife, but they also billed us anyway and sent us on our way for literally nothing (except lost time as my wife also had to wait until they closed). I guess they get credit for finding and fixing it this time, and not charging me anything for it, but this experience was awful. Would not recommend.

Terrible experience when I went to test drive a vehicle. Sales person was friendly at first. When it came to the numbers it was definitely different and crazy! I didn’t want to trade my current car, I had planned on selling it outright. They convinced me to let them look at it for a trade, they came back with a very low offer, around 5,000 less than what Ford wanted to buy. I know it’s the end of the month, you want to move cars. But if someone tells you what they can afford, down payment, monthly payments, I guess my suggestion would be to LISTEN. Don’t play games. As I was leaving after 1 1/2 they were still trying to make deals, saying “we can give you the money for your trade” at this point I was tired, upset, angry and could not believe that business is handled in this fashion. Totally immoral and unethical

Spent literally all day in this dealership, with broken promises after broken promises when I actually found the car that I wanted/loved. There was no meeting in the middle of making any deals, on getting me into the car I wanted. instead I pretty much got a simple no.. we can do this and thats it or here are some other options of cars we can give you. which neither were anything I was actually looking for. I felt like this dealership was pretty much just trying to get me to settle with a vehicle for a quick deal and they were not at all taking me serious.. it was a complete waste of my day and time! ALSO YOUR FINANCE GUY WAS A COMPLETE JERK at the end of my experience!!

Jarin did an excellent job - he listened carefully to what I was concerned about, and then went with me and test drove it so that he could replicate the error and understand what was going on. He was aware of an update from Buick about the matter, and made the repair easily and in less than a days time. As well, my driver Tom was incredibly kind and did a great job getting me home quickly so I could get back to work. Super nice guy, drives carefully, and engages in conversation easily. Tom also brought my vehicle back home to me that afternoon. Both of these team members are excellent representatives of Cable Dahmer Buick, and Id gladly recommend them to family and friends.

Cable-Dahmer advertised used I believe demos 2021 Encore $14600 to $15500 with about 4k to 8k mileage. Called to make sure no hidden fees or price gimmicks. Was going to pay cash with no trade in. Was told I need to finance and pay 18 mo. on loan before I could pay it off and a trade in would help. I agreed to the financing but had no trade in. Was told ok we can make it work they had 2 left. I live 35 mi. away and didnt want to waste half a day. Long story short after setting in the office going back and forth. The best they could do with a total of all the fees was close to $18500 plus I still had to finance the car. $4000 over what I was told.Was told a trade in would help. They knew I didnt have a trade in. That is why I called in advance so I wouldnt be playing BS dealer games. A complete waste of my time.

It was a terrible experience. We were way apart on my trade in. Offered me $30k for my ‘19 Tacoma. I could get $38 in Northwest Arkansas where I live. Would never discuss more than 48 month financing which led to outrageous payments. Kept bringing figures with money down after I repeatedly told him no money down. Whole experience felt like nothing more than a scam to my son and I. To top it all off, after asking for my keys back at least 8 times, I had to demand for my keys before I finally got them back. They did have the truck I wanted but who in their right mind is paying $1300 a month on a $48000 truck? Absolutely the worst dealership experience of my life and this would have been my 5th new vehicle since 2013 not to mention the 3 used ones I’ve bought in that timeframe. Think I’ll keep looking closer to home.

Craziest car buying (trying) experience weve ever had! Ill try to condense it. Was told the vehicle (2015 Chrysler Town & country) was available (Friday) and at Cable Dahmer Kia in Lees summit. Went there, wasnt there. Called Saturday morning 15 minutes after they open. Was told it sold. Then we were contacted via email and told it was available, but when when we called was told it was sold. the sales manager said it was available and that we could put down a $500 deposit if we want to have them hold it for us. They told both of us different things when we both messaged them about it. Fast forward to today, I went to look at the vehicle at Cable Dahmer Buick GMC today and the sticker on the windshield says its a 2011 (WTH?!) when I brought this to the attention of the salesperson, he just ripped the sticker off the windshield and said I dont know why thats on there weird! Then I noticed the entire roof and hood is covered in hail damage. When he started the engine it had a noticeable ticking sound.. the vehicle was advertised at $13,000 (if we finance through them) I agreed to do my financing through them and the first number they came back at me with was $17,480 (WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!) while trying to condense everything I have left some things out but they never got below $14,800 out the door. A vehicle with hail damage and according to my research on the internet the 3.6 liter is notorious for broken rocker arms. I felt like I was in the twilight zone through this whole process! If zero Stars was an option I would have chose zero out of five stars for this dealership. We will never shop for vehicles at any of the Cable Dahmer dealerships again.

I had work done on my vehicle by cable dahmer. I was called that the vehicle was done and ready for pick up, when I arrived I discovered that my entire contents of the glove box and arm rest console were missing. After several attempts to contact the supervisor he would only call back when told police would be involved. He was no help trying to locate the missing items. I was told he couldn’t help me. Do not bring your vehicle to cable dahmer Independence if you want your personal belongings to be there when you get your vehicle back.

A week later went to Randy Reed in St. Joseph and Ally financed a 50 grand Silverado and sales tax with zero down. Same finance company different dealership. I have been going to Cable Dahmer for years. In the past, I have never felt the need to provide a stellar review because the service was typically standard.I had a general maintenance appointment scheduled for this past Monday. On Sunday, my check engine light came on.When I arrived at the dealership, JEFF was my personal representative. I explained the engine light and a couple of issues I was having. He did not balk at the fact that I added more work for them to do (and probably not enough time). I had countless questions over a 48 hour time span.Jeff not only handled all of my questions. He literally got on his hands and knees to check on something for me. In addition, he programmed my car so the locks would work automatically upon entering/exiting my vehicle.Jeff obviously knows how to treat customers which is important, but where I was most impressed is the fact he knew all about my car model. Had a appointment at 10:30 and it took over a 1 1/2 hours to service my 2015 Acadia. When car was returned the paper floor protector was still on the floor and plastic seat protector was still on seat, I had to remove both and put in trash can. I believe each dealership could serve their customers better by having an open format of communication with all dealers. I believe that you risk over charging customers without this communication. For instance, I believe that the cable to my power steering cable may have been assessed by Robert Brockton Dealership in Olathe Kansas at the maintenance provided for the transmission scheduled service. I should not have to go through my records to find this information when all of your records are electronically store for all Buick Dealerships. Life could be a lot easier if you all played well together.
