Amazing Atmosphere Good Service. Professional Workers Family Oriented Business. I was welcomed in immediately No wait. I recieved a service & was later surprised that the young professional was a trainee. This young lady done an exemplary job. She was confident but not cocky. The young professional asked for assistance once she made a small error. Immediately upon asking for assistance the trainer provider assistance. It was an excellent example of on the job training. I was so pleased that the young lady didnt attempt to cover up her mishap. Upon giving assistance the trainer explained and encouraged the trainee. I enjoyed my visit and will most likely request this young lady for the future visits.

NOT a fan of Mimi because she doesnt like children in her salon. This is designed not to service single mothers. Plus her attitude is negative and she is very rude. I recently visited trying to give this place another chance.. and I wasted my time thinking anything was different. I have no plans on ever returning. There were so many children waiting in cars it was so sad.

Ive gotten my nails and feet done multiple times here and I really like the layout of the store,The nail techs that I have done my nails are amazing! Little to no pain when I get them done. I have done acrylics and overlays both were really good. However sometimes the designs if you get the diamond one come off and will leave circle marks so beware of that.

Ive always hated the unprofessional atmosphere of this place, but my usual nail tech was out of town and I needed a last minute appointment so I decided to come here since its close to my home. I called the day before to make an appointment with mi mi, but SHE told me to just walk-in the next day and that I didnt need an appointment. I specifically asked her what time she stops taking walk-ins and she says she takes her last customer at 6. I come in at 4:50ish, sign in, and tell her I want a full set by her. She allows me to sit there for an hour before walking over to me and finally asking what design I want. She then tells me she does not have time to do that design in the pic I showed her and that her mind isnt in the right place to do that design. Mind you, this is a picture I took from HER IG page of her own work, supposedly. She then just walks away after saying that. Basically I wasted an hour of my time for her to tell me that she didnt have the time or patience to do my nails. I will never attempt to spend a dime at her shop again. Reminded me why I stopped going 5/6 years ago!

Mimi is the best nail technician in the world. She have a great attitude. Some people say negative things but can you fault a women for trying to take care of her children. 20 years of getting my nails done and I’ve never been disappointed I always get compliments on my nails no matter where I am!!! Mimi did my nails for years now Sally does them and Sarena does my pedicures, all great work.

I wanted a polish change on my toes. I had gel polish on. The tech used the drill to get the gel off. She was rushing, hit my skin several times which hurt badly. The polish was not even taken off all the way. I had my own polish. I wanted different colors which was my own polish. She told me it would be $3 extra each color even if it was my own polish. She went on to paint the second toe the same color so I got up & went to just pay the $5 for the removal of the gel polish even though it wasnt all off & hurt. Then when I told Mimi the problem she took care of me & told me to relax. Ask all questions up front bc they will keep trying to put a higher price on you. I was very thankful for the owner stepping up,taking care of me & making me fill comfortable. Thanks for the better service them I first received! There are some great nail techs in this shop!

I can not even explain how upset I am right now. I went in here with high hopes to get high quality nails. i literally bled so much and told her it keep hurting. she upcharged me $20 after saying it was $55 and she then said $75. i told her absolutely not and she still charged me $65. I apple paid it to the owner and she tried to scam me and say i didn’t send her it. She was rude about everything. also the nails look worse then press ons from the Dollar Tree....... and she left nail polish all over my fingers. a joke. do not got here.

Was very pleased and satisfied with the service. Im a diabetic and my nail tech was very gentle with me and understood my situation and condition. I got a fill in and a pedicure and I only have 4 toes on my right foot and Nick was great. I scheduled my next appointment with Nick. Great place.

They were so kind, and when they didnt understand what gems I wanted, she showed me all of them to pick from. They made sure they understood 100% what I wanted.

The owner of the shop seem to be a real sweet lady. Some of her employees are questionable. I had an appointment set with Tanya Reed only to be told an hour and 17 minutes later that she couldn’t get me to and it was only a favor to my friend she considered doing my nails since unbeknownst to me I didn’t book the right way. I do not recommend this lackluster nail tech to anyone!!!!!

People always wanna say this and say that but Mimi has a awesome heart would do anything to put a smile on your face. If I could leave 0 stars I most definitely would. I’ve been going to this nail shop for almost 4 years and stopped at one point in time due to my nails always breaking as soon as I got them. On 9/8/17 I treated myself to a full set and pedicure (both gel) and not even a week later three nails on one hand were broken. Which is completely ridiculous. I went back to the shop and Mimi told me “we can fix them but you have to pay” “ no one in Huntsville guarantees anything over 10 days” . That’s absurd. I’ve had full sets for WELL over two weeks before and hadn’t had a nail break. I saw no reason in me paying $15 for repairs when I just spent $100 on my nails not even a week ago. I wouldn’t advise anyone to go to this nail shop. They have very poor customer service and are unprofessional as a whole. One of my friends went to get her eyebrows waxed and the lady messed them up completely and proceeded to have an attitude with my friend for being displeased about her eyebrows. I’m never going back to this poorly managed establishment again and I wouldn’t recommend for anyone else to. Top 10 on Hwy 53 is much better. 🤗

I payed $45 for my nails and hate them!!!!! The man that did them just throw the acrylic on and did not take his time. I showed him a picture and he said he could do it. I showed it to him again after he got done shaping them and he tried to do it like the picture and still couldn’t get it right. He knew I wasn’t happy and still put the top coat on even though I didn’t approve. I will not be going back there. Bad customer service!!!!!! If there was a way to add a picture I would love to show how bad they are. My nails are not even and I’m crying because all I wanted was nice nails for vacation and I got these. I just moved to the Huntsville area so I haven’t found a nail tech yet, but I WONT BE COMING BACK HERE!!!!!!!!!

The only reason I stopped was because I moved to Georgia. I was obsessed with my long nails and nobody on campus did them. I came into Mimi’s and said: “Do you use Tammy Taylor acrylic,”she looked back and said “I only use the best baby.” We both laughed. And I immediately felt at home. I remember my initial visit like it was yesterday: it was a slower day and because I am knowledgeable on products Mimi showed me all the products/options the salon had; I also meet another one of her clients that had long natural nails and she made me feel great as well. Thats when I knew she was an expert and I trusted her.This is truly the BEST NAIL SALON EVER. A TRUE ONE STOP SHOP: Nails, Waxing, Lashes, Pedicures, Etc. Every acrylic,polish and service you can think of. The prices are great for services rendered. Mimi has done so well with Sally her oldest daughter and prodigy. I remember the first time she taught Sally how to sculpt nails on my fill in and Sally did excellent on her first try. It’s amazing. This is a hard working family and woman. I had the worst experience at this nail salon. I came in and the owner referred me to an older man(Jack) working in her shop. apparently every worker in the shop knew he was inadequate of performing the task at hand. (a simple fill in) as he is doing my nails he is also watching videos on his phone of how things are made. while in the process he hurt my nails plenty of times. The man applied the thinnest layer on my nails . i had to get a nail replaced and i told him the nail was flimsy after he finished with the acrylic. he told me it would harden after the nail polish was applied. (the nail popped off the next day.) he did not buff or file my nails. when he applied my nail polish he told me to sit under the gel nail dryer. my nails began to bubble up. so i stopped and told him and he asked me which nail and i told him all of them ! he said this is the craziest thing in my life ! ive never saw anything like this in my life ! referring to me not liking my nails. So he had his assistant to fix my nails lord bless her she was kind. but the owner made me feel less of a customer because I wasnt getting gel nails. she said Its doing that because you have the regular polish, gel polish doesnt do that! well excuse me but WTF were yall doing before gel polish came out? dont go to this salon even if its your last resort.

I had acrylics for about two months when I decided to have them taken off for a little while. Half my experiences with getting them redone were terrible let me just say. I must’ve kept getting people who didn’t know at all what they were doing.I dont know how to add a picture here, but my natural nails are in TERRIBLE condition since I got my acrylics taken off here. This was the first time I’ve been here.The guy doing it was talking to himself, kept saying “oh my god” over and over, soaked my nails for way longer than he should’ve which I’ve only learned about since I was there. He then used the power tool and drilled almost all the way THROUGH MY NAIL to the skin.Then he put on gel, which I did not ask for, and when I got up to wash my hands he charged my husband $15 which I would NOT have paid. It’s been close to two months now and my nails are STILL breaking and I have to keep a nail strengthening polish with a top coat on it so that they don’t break as bad.The only reason my nails didn’t break off in the middle of my nail is because I have a friend who does nails, but not acrylics because they’re bad for your nails, and she was able to help me get the gel off and told me how to properly care for the nails while I have this issue. She also told me this is something that really bad nail solans do called “rings of fire” because the nails burn like fire. Which I can attest to.Another thing, while he was doing this I jerked my hand out of his, wouldn’t you think this would clue him in? I’ve never experienced this and didn’t realize what happened, I just though the tool was hot on my nail. Silly me. I could not get it off with the %100 acetone remover. I will never go here again.I would’ve given this no stars but that’s not an option.Also the gel looked terrible, it had a lot of bubbles throughout and it was coming off my nails as I walked out of the store!

New to Alabama and needed our nails none. What I found eye raising, were the prices. Considering the area where the salon is located i.e. lower incomes, the prices were MUCH higher than salons in high income areas.I found the services were $10-$15 higher in comparison to neighborhoods with three to four times the income.Nothing more disappointing than business owners coming into neighborhoods and over charging people.Also, the services we received werent nearly as good as weve had from previous salons.

I called about making an appointment and was told that time would work. When I got there I had to wait 45 minutes. I got dirty looks as if they were annoyed I walked in. My acrylics were absolutely horrible. The shape, around the bottom.. Everything just terrible. It was over priced and I had a terrible time. I will NEVER go back nor will I recommend.

I got my nails done Saturday, July 1st & by that Wednesday, my shellac polish (thats supposed to last a minimum of 2 weeks) had completely chipped off . I decided to give them another try to redeem themselves. So, this past Saturday I went back for a shellac manicure... my polish chipped off by Sunday night. Here it is Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning & I have 3 chipped nails. I will never return.
