This place was horrible my nails were chipping instantly and I asked for long nails and she gave me short coffin shaped nails the top coat came off the very next day so my nails were starting to turn 2 different colors and they looked powdery. Also the nail lady couldn’t even do a simple heart without charging me an extra 20$ like this place was terrible the only good thing is the pedicures

Horrible service. Only 2 people working, long wait time. My powdered nails of $45 didnt last a week. My husband got blisters after a pedicure. Not worth trying.

Went for the first time today! Great experience. They have a large selection of colors powder, gel, dip, glow in the dark, etc. All of the colors are neatly organized on the wall- easy to see everything they have! My nail tech was Quinn. She took her time and paid extra attention to detail. 10/10 will be coming here more often.They are usually busy but I came on a Wednesday pretty early to avoid the crowd 🙂

Me and my boyfriend came there for a pedicure, not only was the staff friendly but the service of the pedicure was amazing! I normally do reviews after the service but lately at different shops my pedicure hasn’t been lasting a day. But at Nail Talk that is not a problem! My pedicure is still going strong! Definitely will recommend and will be back soon.

I’m giving them a 4 star rating because they do have a whole wall of great colors to choose from! The customer service good too, they ask if you want water!I found out about this company from a girl that works at the Huntsville Walmart. I asked her where do she go? She said, Nail Talk! I stopped by there after I left from Walmart.The wait time is so long, not enough employees. Every time I go in, my wait time is always a hour and a half or more (I’m coming from Trinity, TX) so, yeah! When I first got my nails done here, my nails did pop off after a week! But that was back in November 2018. The top of my nails looked flat, (make sure you let them know to make the top part of your nails look natural) and not flat like paper! NOT CUTE!Don’t get a pedicure from here! I personal never got one from here before because there is a old man that works here. And he will jack your feet the hell up! (I’ll pass)!Going back really soon so, I’ll repost/update the refill review and pictures soon!03/22/2019I got here at 10:30 a.m. I waited 30 minutes, this old lady started on my nails. Didn’t speak English and DIDN’T know what she was doing! The younger guy said, he wanted to fix/finish my nails. Here it is 11:50 a.m. and I’m still here with unfinished nails... And I have to leave from here no later 1:00 p.m. for a appointment.If you decide to come here be prepared to stay 2-3 hours! And all I’m get is a refill 🤦🏾‍♀️😒

Nail Talk does amazing pedicures! They have good deals and always have good discounts and sales! The decor is very cute it’s a nice atmosphere. Kimmy is very sweet and does amazing pedicures!

Super awesome service! Got a pedicure. Great price. Great customer service. Short wait time. Highly recommend the man.Update: got a mani after my pedicure for $30 shellac and it sucks. Glitter on top isn’t smoothed in it’s scratchy. Very poorly done by the lady. I wish my pedicure guy did my manicure. I didn’t even want the $30 one. I tried to change it but she didn’t understand my English.

Do the best eyebrows and nails

I always go there for my toes which they do a good job. I went to get my nails done.... and it was complete trash, the lady had to remove all of them soaked me in some liquid when they were half removed she said they were done and I was good to go

I got a full set done with Lynd and I loved it! She is super friendly and my nails look perfect, not to mention how they had many colors to pick from. Will definitely be coming back 🥰

Tried Nail Talk out initially on a friend recommendation. I always get quick and friendly service. Lynd always double checks to make sure I am satisfied with the service.

Nail talk provided excellent services. Closing time was at 7pm. But Snow,she called in reinforcement to make sure every client needs were met. I walked out at 10:15pm a happy customer. I wasnt asked to leave and come back,like some other places

The customer service was good they were nice, what I didn’t like was the quality of my eyelashes. They looked bad, really bad and they still charged me $30. She tried to fix it by trimming them but it didn’t make it better. Then the lady put eyeliner to see if that would solve the problem and it didn’t. The problem was that the eyelashes she used were thick and hard. I always get my eyelashes done and I never had thick, hard lashes before. I had to take of lashes to make it look better. Never again am I going there for that.

My pedicure experience was great, I had Kimmy working on me and she was so sweet and did an awesome job! Great nail salon, I get all my pedicures here, would definitely recommend if you are looking for one in the area!

Nail Talk just recently opened and they have great deals. A basic pedicure is only 18$ and manicures are only 13$. On top of that, if youre a student at shsu, you get a 20% off discount. Just present your I.d. Really great and friendly service. ☺️UPDATE: they no longer have the 20% off discount for students and the basic pedicure is now 23$.

This was one of the most horrible pedicures I have ever had!!! The man was extremely rough with my feet. He cut my nails so short and uneven that it hurt. When I told him that he was hurting me he tried to keep going and argue with me after I asked for him to stop. He rushed the whole process. And when I asked for the callus to be removed he got upset about it. He was rough with this process too and rushed it. It doesn’t feel like he got really anything off. I hate to be a negative Nancy but I feel like I haven’t gotten a great experience and I got the $30 special plus the callus removal was extra $5

I love nail talk its walking distance from Sam Houston so perfect for college students with out a car. The prices are extremely affordable and the owner Snow is very nice and everyone is super friendly! Plus my nails are always cute.

If you value breathing clean air, then I suggest you walk with your own supply. Soon as you open the door you get bombarded with chemical smells. Other than that, this place is pretty good at waxing eyebrows.

This nail salon is horrible, I went there to just get a basic manicure and pedicure with gel polish and I didn’t even get to pick out my color. They didn’t give me anything to look at. The guy rushed through my pedicure and cut up my toes. Then he forgot to paint one of them then refused to paint it. Then with my nails there were air bubbles all over my nails and I asked them to redo it and they said that they were going to charge me for another manicure because of them finishing my nails. But my nails and toes looked horrible so I had to pay $60 for a trashy job, and then go to a salon and pay more money for them to fix what they had messed up.

They starting to go up on prices but Lisa do some good eyebrows I will only go for that

Got a pedi and the old man that is there cut my nails uneven didnt scrub the dead skin off and the paint job looks like me 8yr. Old daughter did it usually I am satisfied with this place but do not go with any new staff here except Peter or you will have wasted ur money.

I have ingrown toe nails it is hard to fine a nail salon that can do my pedicure right. Nail talk not like other places that try to rush you threw but takes the time to make sure it do fight and your happy with the results

This is by far my favorite place to get my nails done! Super fun, awesome with designs, have chrome, dip, shellac etc.

Switched to Nail Talk after repeated bad experiences at two other nail salons in town. Both Fong and Snow have done my nails now, and they come out beautifully each time. My daughter was getting hers done with Don, but sadly he is no longer at this shop. She continues to use Snow and Fong, and is happy with the results. We both get full sets, hers in ombre and mine solid color. We get 3 weeks without lifting or breakage, and the nails are not too thick. Prices are reasonable and the color selection is amazing. Call to make an appointment if you dont want to wait.

I come here often when I am working in Houston because I love the way Snow does my nails. However the last few times I felt really unwelcome. Fong did my nails the last time I came here in. I was unhappy with his work because he filed some nails crooked and they weren’t neat. This time I came in and requested Snow. She said she was full for the evening and asked if I would allow Fong to do my nails. I told her yes. I hadn’t made an appointment and understood. After waiting an hour, I sat in his chair and explained what I wanted different with this experience. He got up and began to speak in Vietnamese, as though he was upset. He then said in English that he hadn’t done my nails. I assured him that it was in fact him that did my last refill. I even explained in full detail the occurrences of the day. He then got up and spoke in Vietnamese and only returned to his table to turn off the light. I then asked for someone to communicate what was going on. I was told he got up because I hadn’t said anything. I told him the color, that I wanted them cut down, and the shape. What more did he want me to say? They then went back and forth on who would do my nails. The Quin said “ I don’t want to sit here until 10 doing nails. “ The thing is I drove 55 miles, which took 2 hours and waited an hour to be treated very rudely. If I didn’t have an event in th morning, I would have left and definitely not ever returned. I waited until 8 and Snow did my nails. (I got there at 5:45 and left at 9) I have to say that Snow does a good job and I appreciate her righting her husband’s behavior. However, I am certain that I will never return to their store again!

Absolutely awful. Got a full set and two nails broke the same day. They were so thin that they kept breaking off every day and it’s been less than a week. My pedicure is already chipping. Called to ask for a refund but they refuse. Go get the stick on nails from Walmart- they’ll last longer.

First time trying this place since i moved and this was the worst possible choice. messed up my nails terribly, my friends nails broke within a week. got snow and she was rushing to do my nails so she could do another customer who walked in. when we came in to show them what happened to our nails and how terrible they looked they were rude. there has only been 2 people working both times i’ve been here this week. not impressed. would choose ANY nail place over this one.

Live the service, various powder colors, and amazing pedicures!

I was not impressed with the service. My nail tech for the day was an older woman who spent half her time staring out the window. Ive had shellac done before and the quality of my shellac visit here defeats the purpose of getting my nails done. The woman only put two thin layers on and did not pay attention to the tips of my nails, in result my nails were chipping less than 48 hours later! Not worth my money. I can paint my nails at home for those results.Plus, I do not like that their equipment is not sterilized or sealed. You can tell the cuticle clippers have been used before and were not properly covered. I declined in having her use those on me.
