The Artisan Twickenham Square Apartments is not a bad apartment building. However, they will do everything thing they can to nickel and dime you on the way out when you are done renting. There are plenty of alternatives in the downtown Huntsville area, with more being built today. I would highly recommend to choose another location.

Lived here for about 2 years when I lived in Huntsville. Its expensive for the area but its a great community with events throughout the year and the most amazing staff. Its close enough to walk to everything downtown has to offer, but far enough away that I never had issues with noise or traffic. Wouldve taken this living experience with me if I couldve when I moved

I lived at The Artisan when I first moved to Huntsville. I was working nights at the hospital and loved that I could walk to the hospital so easily! The location was the first reason I toured the property. The welcoming, bubbly, fun staff and gorgeous apartments, pool, gym, and 24 hr coffee bar were all things that helped seal the deal! I loved the sense of community — the weekly coffee groups, the book club, the multiple dogs and cats to visit. My cat always loved the attention from the staff! I moved only because I was about to get married. My husband and I have both agreed that if we sell our house, that we would love to live at The Artisan. Oh, and a Publix, Big Spring Park, and a vibrant downtown within walking distance —spectacular!

Very fortunate to have moved in: Ive made a lot of lasting friendships, created a start-up, met my future life partner, and lots of memories.

I lived at the Artisan for a year and absolutely loved everything about it! The staff was amazing and they always went above and beyond my expectations. It’s a great community and pet friendly. I loved the pet spa, where they provided shampoo and treats for my fur baby! I would highly recommend living at the artisan! And you’re just steps away from public and restaurants!

Great experience living here. I had an exterior facing unit, and noise definitely wasnt an issue. The pool and entertaining area are awesome, and people are very friendly. Location is tops, easy walk to Big Spring Park and downtown. The front desk staff are super nice and accommodating. When I had a last minute change of plans and ended up moving out, they worked with me and made the process straightforward and fair. Would highly recommend the Artisan.

Loved it here! We were new to Huntsville and needed a place to live until we bought a house. We chose Artisan because of its location and proximity to work but loved it for so many more reasons. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! We also felt safe and loved living in such a clean and stylish place. One of my favorite parts is that it is so pet friendly. Needless to say, our dog loved it just as much!

We needed a place to land while we built our house and The Artisan at Twickenham Square was the perfect location. We knew the size would be right and the amenities were good, but we got so much more than we ever thought. The staff is wonderful, kind and attentive. The living space was a good size for the duration we needed and did less than a one year lease which is hard to find. One of the staff members looked after our cat when would head out of town and when she passed away, the kindness and sympathy was there. Location is fabulous! You can walk to the park or to a concert at The Von Braun Center, grocery shop and get a bite to eat at one of the places just within a block or two with out having to drive. I would completely recommend living here.

I love living at the Artisan! I moved to Huntsville from California last fall and the staff made the process of applying, selecting and moving into my new apartment seamless. They have events to meet other residents, a nice gym and pool. The location couldn’t be better- Publix, Mei Wei and a Taco Mama all nearby. The staff is amazing-always answering any questions and quickly responding to any maintenance issues. I’m so happy that I chose the Artisan-it has been a pleasant experience and has made the transition to Alabama that much better. Also they love animals!

Living at the Artisan is all about location. Located next to downtown Huntsville you will find yourself surrounded by people and experiences. The Artisan offers great amenities such as a year-round pool, gym, pet-spa, trash-valet, and even events hosted in a very nice lounge area. Do a lot of online shopping? Well this is the place for you. Fear porch-pirates no more, as your packages are kept safe and dry inside the Artisan lobby.If you are unable to retrieve the packages due to travel/disability they will even deliver them to your unit upon request. While the rent is high, the staff there make up for it. Jessica and Amber at the front desk will always greet you with a warm smile and jump to help you with anything you might need. They go more than above and beyond! When no one was able to they even took care of my kit-cat while I was out of town. Jessica and Amber are absolute life savers, and the reason I rent at the Artisan

I recently moved to Huntsville from Birmingham, and started the search for a place to live. After looking at several houses and apartment complexes, I came across The Artisan at Twickenham Square and I was instantly sold. The staff in the leasing office was super informative and friendly, and did everything possible to help coordinate a smooth move for me. The amenities are top notch, and the location is perfect. I highly recommend The Artisan, and want to give a special shout-out to my leasing consultant, Katherine - she’s the best in the game!

Lived here for two years and loved it! The staff are extremely courteous, helpful, and friendly. I also enjoyed the location because you can easily walk to Big Spring Park and several great bars and restaurants. I highly recommend to anyone, especially those who are new to the Huntsville area. Living at the Artisan is a great way to make friends and get involved with events in the community😀.

Sold our home and had a short window to find a new location. We wanted to be downtown, but after looking at homes and the downtown apt communities we decided the Artisan was at the top of our list. From our first experience we were sold. The property is in a great location. We enjoy the views from our 3rd floor balcony looking at downtown to the north and the mountains to the east. The staff has been friendly, helpful and prompt. We feel secure and comfortable and absolutely love the amenities. Love heading out for a run on the weekend and coming back to enjoy the salt water people.Our lease will be expiring in a few months, but we plan on renewing and enjoying another year or more at the Artisan.

Living at the Artisan has been one of the best decisions of my life. I feel safe going to and from the parking garage, always get prompt responses when I have questions, never have to wait after putting in a maintenance request, and have met some of my best friends here because of the community feel at the pool and even just walking in the halls. They were even caring and checked on me when my dog passed away. Cant ask for much more than that.

Terrible experience. Rent went up every year I was there. I finally left after a 25% increase in rent (in one year), and I am so happy I did. I would highly recommend that NO ONE lives here.

My husband and I moved here three years ago and we have no plans to leave! We love the location and the proximity to a grocery store and wonderful restaurants and shops. We also love being so close to the park and within walking distance to events at the VBC. The staff are like family to us! They always go the extra mile to help us out and we are so grateful for how pet-friendly the Artisan is.

Absolutely LOVE this property!! If there could possibly be Heaven on Earth, it would be located here! You are right in the middle of everything you need! The management and staff couldnt make you feel more at home. I would highly recommend you making this YOUR little piece of Heaven!

I applied for an apartment at The Artisan in July 2017. My application was accepted and move-in date set. A few days later, the apartment manager called me to tell the guy that was living in the apartment changed his mind about moving but I had the right to keep the apartment if I wanted. She offered several other options that were unacceptable. I declined the offer and told them I preferred the apartment that was originally offered. They said that was fine. Several days later, I receive an email saying that the apartment I was no longer available and offered the same two unacceptable options again. After telling the manager I was not interested, she offered to refund my $300 application fee which I accepted. It has been almost 3 months since they promised to return my $300 and I still do not have the refund. If you are considering The Artisan I would encourage you to keep looking.Update: I was refunded the application fee eventually but it still a bad overall experience.

Being new to AL, I chose Artisan for the central downtown HSV location to learn the area and meet people. Hands down, the Artisan was one of the best complexes I’ve ever lived in! The location, living space and my favorite - the staff - was more than I could have asked for. I definitely miss living there but couldn’t be happier for making it my first AL home.

I very much enjoy living here. The folks that live and work here really make it a community, almost like a big family. There arent any pugs here at the moment though, so thats a downside.Really nice bathrooms too.

My husband and I love living at the Artisan. There are so many wonderful things here, it is difficult to choose where to begin. I guess one of my favorite things is the location. It cannot be beat, in my opinion. My husband can easily walk to his clinic, the hospital, and the surgery center. I love the proximity to the grocery store. One of my friends always refers to it as my pantry. You are only steps away if you need an ingredient!The staff is incredible. They are always so friendly and cheerful. IF we ever move, Ill definitely have to come back just to visit with them. Our building and maintenance crew are so kind and helpful. I have always had great response times to a maintenance request placed. Everything is always tidy and being refreshed.I know several residents that have been here since the first year the Artisan opened. I think thats a big testament of the community found here. There are always activities going on. Weekly coffee, a book club, a monthly party, and other special events are held throughout the year.Whether you are new to Huntsville or looking for low maintenance living in one of the most convenient locations, you will love being apart of the Artisan Family.

Can’t say enough good things about the Artisan. The front desk staff and maintenance crew cannot be overstated, all incredibe and efficient with any need I have. It has allowed me to also explore downtown Huntsville by foot considering how convenient it is to everything! Can’t imagine living anywhere else.

The apartment complex is WELL maintained, clean and convenient to downtown. The staff (front office and facilities) makes the whole complex even better; they are always kind and always helpful. The cost of all aspects of living in an apartment is dwarfed by the staff and location.

This is one of the most desirable places to live in Huntsville! This location is so convenient to shopping and dining. The Publix and hospital are within walking distance .You will be hard pressed to find a more caring staff . They treat you with kindness and respect. The team is there to help in any way that they can. Artisan is by far the best community in Huntsville.

These apartments are the total package: great living space, great location, great amenities, and great management! My husband and I hadnt lived in an apartment setting for almost a decade so although it made sense for our relocation to AL, it wasnt our ideal situation. Fast forward 5 months and while we had originally planned to be in our apartment very short term while we looked to purchase a home, were no longer considering buying anymore because were so happy with the Artisan! The management team has been so welcoming and do a fantastic job at communicating with the community about fun activities theyre hosting, maintenance updates, and any other helpful information residents need to know. The amenities are wonderful, especially the gym and the amazing saltwater pool!! Being able to walk over to Big Spring Park, a number of great restaurants, and living just a few steps away from Publix is the best. If youre looking for an apartment in Huntsville, the Artisan is really the only place you should be looking!

Im from Calif originally. Was a renter there, was a homeowner in Huntsville and now a renter again here at Artisan. The people that work here, the people that live here, the facilities (lounge, dog services, pool, workout area etc) and the surrounding area are all incredible. I work out of my house and have an 11 yr old child and dog half the time, and its home to us and we love living here.

I have lived at Artisan Twickenham Square Apartments for over two years and cannot say enough good things about it. Location drew me in; super convenient grocery shopping and some really great restaurants and hang out spots, easy walking/biking distance to downtown for more options, and quick access to South Parkway and I-565 when a cars needed. My car doesnt move most weekends when the weather is nice, theres plenty going on right here.Location would have been enough, but the management and maintenance staff really makes a difference. I havent lived in an apartment complex before where I enjoy hanging out in the leasing office! Its common to see people spending time talking about local events, sports, community get-togethers (taco night anyone?), and other things, or just grabbing a cup of coffee.Pros: Location, staff, community, internal apartment access (security and weather benefits), covered parking, salt-water pool, gym, indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces, gas grills, pool table and great apartments!Cons: Electric stove (no gas option) and a single-drain kitchen sink (both common in apartments)

Great place! Beautiful lounge, pool and courtyard area. Friendly staff. Maintenance issues handled in a timely manner. Walking distance to Publix, Taco Mama, Cajun Steamer, etc. And its right next to Huntsville Hospital too.

I have been an Artisan resident for a little more than 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed living there. Not just because of the location with Publix and restaurants right there, but the staff has been fantastic. They run events for residents and create comradery like I havent seen at other complexes - specific thanks to Amber Petree and Jessica Gresham for their professionalism and friendliness during my time there. I would highly recommend living there.

In short, this place is perfect. It is truly everything anyone could possibly want in an apartment home. Ive lived here almost three years and have legitimately never had a complaint. The office staff and managers downstairs are incredible. Theyve assisted me with everything Ive ever needed with a positive attitude and were genuinely happy to do it. The maintenance team will usually show up within hours of contacting them to fix something, and Ive never had to wait more than the next day. Aside from the fact that the interior, appliances, amenities, etc. are some of the nicest in town, the atmosphere here is truly unparalleled. Every resident I pass in the hall or talk to in the lobby is kind and positive. Including the office staff, maintenance crew, AND the residents, Ive yet to meet someone at Artisan that was in any way rude or unhelpful. The gym is the best Ive seen; the pool is amazing in the summer; they have an incredible outdoor sitting area lined with hanging lights that come on at night and two outdoor TVs with couches and tables; the two outdoor grills are great for anything (grill utensils provided) and always gassed up; the lounge area has 5 TVs, a pool table, multiple couches and chairs and a bar with a wine cooler - upstairs are two TVs and two conference tables that are great for collaborative work or studying (Keurig included); the lobby has tea, fresh coffee, multiple creamers, usually fresh baked cookies, all regularly stocked; theres a pet grooming/exercise/everything room (again, always stocked); storage units of multiple sizes; and thats just everything Ive been able to enjoy so far while living here. Its in short walking distance from Publix and all the Twickenham Square restaurants and shops. The price is truly underrated for how all-inclusive, welcoming and fully stocked this place is from amenities to services and staff. There are a lot of great apartments around Huntsville, but you wont find this atmosphere anywhere else. Many thanks to the Artisan team for making this such an incredible home!!

This is the ideal downtown apartment living: saltwater pool, tv screens inside and out, outdoor grills, conference space, gym, pet wash, parking garage, packages secured by front desk staff, gift wrapping room, trash pickup from your door, and regular activities (organized and impromptu) to meet your neighbors and build relationships. Convenient shopping, restaurants, and a grocery store (literally across the corner). Yes, there can be noise from neighbors, but if you require absolute silence you shouldnt be living in an apartment building downtown. Im a light sleeper and Im having no more trouble than I was in a house in Blossomwood.
