The coaches are fantastic and my girl Charlotte loves hers, Monika, Bobbi & Steph in Mighty Mights. She has so much fun and when shes a little off they focus on form in ways she really enjoys. I would absolutely recommend if youre trying to get your kids active in a fun & safe environment.
So far I am completely not impressed.Front desk has some rude people especially if you support Trump. They are like the covid police peaking around corners to make sureparents are wearing a mask. Super unprofessional and kinda crazy. The supervisor I spoke with just as others have stated was rude, demeaning and offered zero help. Not the way to run a business at all.
My daughter has been coming to tumbling lessons for a few years and I feel like SCATS is passable, but could improve in various areas. As far as kids enjoying the lessons, they do a good job teaching and working out the kids.A few improvements I would like to highlight:-Parking is terrible, if you dont arrive 10 minutes early you will struggle as the parking lot fills up with the next class and then adds on traffic with the previous class leaving, its a mess. Personally I think giving a 10 minute break between the larger classes will help relieve the vehicle stress (Class A: 5:30pm - 6:30pm, Class B: 6:40pm - 7:40pm). Also If they are going to allow people to park along the fire lane on the West side of the building, there needs to be One Way Only signs, numerous times people will go in the wrong way can cause a traffic jam.-Online payment/presence needs to be improved. It is now 2020 and there is not a way to pay for tuition online. Also, it seems they have implemented a mandatory card on file/autocharge billing system. If you place a debit card, there is no annual fee, however if you have a credit card on file you will be charged an annual fee. If they enforce auto-charge, I believe it is unethical to further bill for paying with credit card.-Its happened a few too many times for my liking, but there are absences from the instructors for the tumbling class. For the price I am paying I would appreciate continuity with instructors. I understand that instructors cant make it, etc., but if it happens a few times a month, perhaps a 5-10% discount should be applied to the following months tuition, just a thought.
I do not recommmend the group class for kids. The class sizes seem large and the instruction seems light. We didnt get much value from it.
They’re doing so much to keep the gym clean and safe during Covid. Our daughter loves Ms. Vivian. ♡
This place is amazing! My daughter has both taken classes here and attended summer camp. She always has a great time and asks to go back. They do a lot of fun activities on-site, as well as taking little trips to the community pool and other fun places. What makes this camp extra special is the staff. The coaches truly love kids and care about their campers. The director creates a warm, positive environment and clearly loves her job. I have spoken with her numerous times in person and on the phone and I have always felt respected and valued. Just this morning, she had the campers in stitches while going over the camp rules. Its a perfect balance of structure and fun. I have taught elementary school for over 13 years and I truly admire her special gift of interacting with the kids and I am blown away by how she and her staff create such a uniquely safe and fun environment for our kids. Highly recommend!
The gym is HUGE and impressive, and all the staff have been very friendly to my kids and family. Weve had my son and daughter in summer camp at SCATS for 3 years now and they love it. Weve done a birthday party there as well and it was a big hit with the guests. Love Miss Cindy!
My kids went here for about a year and loved it. The instructors are helpful, friendly, and fun. I definetly recommend this gymnastics center if you are looking for gymnastics classes.
Attended a birthday party at SCATS with my kids a couple of years ago and we liked it so much that we signed up for the Mighty Mites class. Its been awesome, not only for the fun-factor and motor skill development, but the socialization too. My kids love the instructors and staff!
THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!! They have awesome coaches and staffs and and they help me with a lot of thing! :)
Great gym, awesome staff. 👍🏼
There is a number of things I can list here, where do I start. I had my child in their overpriced gymnastics program and they just do the same activities week after week. Youd think once the child pics up whats being taught they would maybe move up to the next level....NOPE.Ive never had a problem with staff until now. Im trying to sign my child up for summer camp and I was informed the day before it was going to start that she couldnt do it. The documentation clearly states its recommended for children under 5 participate in the am camp only. When I see recommended I think its simply a recommendation not a requirement. Nope... think again. My child is 4 1/2 and i was told, NO SHE CANNOT ATTEND THE CAMP. So that put me in a bad spot. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the nastiest lady called me back. To have her representing Scats is a disgrace. She was rude, defensive and just plain ignorant. One last thing,, NEVER EVER EVER have your childs birthday party there. For $400 I had to set up and take down al,most the entire party myself. Thats not what they advertise. Plus they send the party lady to try and sell lessons to all of your guests. That is very rude. Do that on your own time.My guests are there to celebrate my childs birthday not deal with you trying to sell them lessons. You lost a customer for sure, with all this nonsense.
Hi, Im 11 am I too old to start? I actually dont know any skills and I dont wanna be in the kids classes since Ill be embarrassed
I came with my child for a free trial class and was impressed with the size and cleanliness of the gym. But that was it, nothing else was adequate, the coach was very young and did not seem to be confident on what to do (which is ok if they are training), so she asked her supervisor- whom assisted with the class for about 5 min. Then all of a sudden i see the supervisor upstairs where the parents sit, chatting/gossiping with another mother for about 10-15 min. while the coach was struggling with the class. As soon as she finished chatting she began selling something, i think some kind of customized jewelry to some parents. And mind you she this individual is well into her 40s, you would think she would have better work ethic. My child being his first time, with a coach whom needed guidance was completely lost. Very disappointed.
These coaches are petty... one of the gym team coaches blocked me on Instagram🤪
50 years, 14 Olympians, hundreds, if not thousands, of scholarships to D1 colleges. This place is legit.
It helped me with alot of things that I couldnt do
