I watched the beauty of the sunrise and everyone enjoying their surroundings and the water... I also watched as the HB rescue life guards prepared and watched to save lives.... HB angels out for duty... Along with the rest of our protectors out there in the world. 😇💝

The life guard had to go out 2 times To help people. while we were there. Give him a thanks for paying attention and helping people. This guy needs a high five for good job.👍

I have to say the staff has come a long way since May it made everything wonderful and even took the time to answer a question telling me that the current had took me far from where I was stationed and it was really nice for him to mention that it made it easier to find where I was sunbathing

Ive spent a lot of time sitting up on this lifeguard tower watching the sunset with someone who showed me the world and what it was like to breathe easy..

At Sunset Beach down the way I think theyre HB lifeguards as well but sometimes they are too quick to jump b/c they think that youre having trouble just because of your splashing around a little bit... Im from the Midwest ... But have been here in Southern Cal for many many years now ( and also lived in Hawaii for a while so I know my beaches, 🤠😎trust me) but I still have a little bit of Midwest in me and we like to Splash in the water, not Just sit on surfboards, 🏄🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️ and that doesnt mean were having trouble . so just a little tip for any lifeguards: I can swim .. & I love to body surf...and sometimes I go with the current (the strong side current like a river I just go with it and then I enjoy the walk back up the beach) and 99.9% of the time I am fine, just fine ...you dont need me to rescue me... in Fact Ive never needed to be rescued ...thank you very much. What the lifeguards really need to do is have a universal unique arm motion so that people who really need help can signal they need help, or try to. 🏊🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

It was very windy so that may alter my opinion on it. However I always say a lifeguard watching the water and, what I would call, beach patrol driving on the beach making sure everyone was safe.

I find it unfair to rate a lifeguard tower different from any other lifeguard tower. They all seem to be doing their tower jobs
