They dropped off our car exactly when and where we wanted it, and for a good price.Downside: Receipt says theyre not responsible for any damage they incur. Fortunately, there was none, just a job well done.

The process of getting an emergency tow for a wrecked vehicle was easy; I was able to leave the vehicle and have it picked up while I was getting a rental. However, my car seems to have disappeared. After about 17 phone calls and being on hold for hours, no businesses in anc seem to have or know where my vehicle went. There was not even a job filed with the anc police like there should have been.

The people there are very nice and helpful.

No complaints, always good service. I know all the guys there and have for a few years now.

Our small fire department needed a car removed from our property that had been cut up for training, the person that answered the phone was nice and courteous. I was then passed onto the owner to discussed the details and he was very friendly and accommodating. About 3 hours later, Andrew show up at the station in the truck, had a look at the vehicle and decided he would pick it up on his way back to Anchorage. Would definitely recommend this company to everyone and look forward to using their services in the future.

They helped me even though they only had 5 mins till close. Was able to get my car out that day with minimal headache.

My car had a dead battery, I called them and they showed up and had me running in less than 30 minutes. Always had great service and knowledgeable staff.

The recovery started with the driver sliding off the road into someones back yard. Once he recovered himself it was a quick job. However, that is where the good service ended. The dispatch person quoted a specific price. The driver was told by the same person to charge $60 over that after the recovery. This wouldnt have been a problem if that possibility had been told to me initially.

They were the fastest towing in town, and the man who helped me was super nice. All other towing places in town were a bit cheaper, but quoted 1 to 2 hours. Within 30 minutes my truck was towed and payed for. Well worth it, I would call them again for a tow if I needed it.

I was stranded at the top of turnagain pass with no reception and a busted transmission. Dispatch sent Alaska towing and wrecking out to save the day. Andrew, was so wonderful he was willing to tow me all the way to Soldotna instead of Anchorage which was originally discussed. Taking hours out of his day to allow me to get to where I really needed to be. Take it from me, when your stranded and need a reliable and trustworthy tow company please go with Alaska towing and Wrecking.

Called requesting a tow after a driver plowed into our parked car. The office assistant was courteous and helpful and the driver was pleasant and prompt.

Organized through road side assistance, the driver snapped his cable trying to use a flat bed a recovery vehicle trying to get my car out of the ditch. after the cable snapped the car rolled back into the ditch and smashed the rear bumper, which was untouched before. the driver told me to get in the car to turn the wheels to the right so the car would slide up the car diagonally easier. The driver decides that winching with me still in the car was a good idea when my wife and i were both screaming to stop. He stopped for a second and then continued to winch while i was scrambling to get out of the car, the cable snapped and the car slide back diagonally and almost rolled with me half way out the window. after all that the driver acts like nothing happened, and left me on the side of the road at the top of arctic valley. i give this company a -10 and hope your drivers arent all mentally retarded.

I recently found myself stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire and no spare to fix it. My road side assistance called these guys to come grab me. The tow truck was there exactly when they said they would be with a very courteous and helpful driver. I can not thank them enough as they helped salvage my birthday weekend.

Poor customer. As President of HOA we have contract with are but they dont answer phones after 5 pm and during the days also. Spoke with the female owner she was very rude and tells me that they only open when they feels they want to and tells me to look for another company. And yes I Will.

Alaska towing and wrecking is a piece ak history,been in business since the 50s and still going strong.i personally would highly recommend them for anything you need towed,recovered or just moved.

They stole my van off the street, when there are literally 3 other cars and trucks to choose from, within loogie range, that had been there for more than 24 days much less the hours my van had been there. Bunch of con artists and untrustworthy scum, that cant make their money any other way but to steal it.The 3 other vehicles I speak of are still there with snow outlining them from over the weekend.

I wish I could give this company a lower review. It cost me $250 for them to tow my car 6 miles which took them less than 20 minutes. The guy at the front desk was smug and told me “not to get mad at him” even though he chooses to work for this business that grossly overcharges. Please take your business to anywhere else in Anchorage.
