Ill update once the team that was to contact me for Monday with an estimate and product availability responds. Im sure theyre likely busy, although I was looking forward to a phone call.. its now Saturday.. I would suggest that they update the phone # indicated on the site, it does not work. I was provided a business card when I drove to the location (3 rd time) with hope that theyd be open, in that I seem to keep missing them during the times listed on the building sign for hours of availability. I only return in that I purchased a floor from them years ago and was hoping to locate more of it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thought I would give a local company a shot. A little pricier than big box place. Tile was fine. Customer service and follow up a little shady. Was thinking about using them for a bigger project but would never step foot in the place again.

I have about 70% of my house covered with Sherbrooke LVP flooring and wanted to add a bedroom with matching flooring. I contacted Stephen by phone initially, then text and email. He was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Everything was handled online and the only other thing that I had to do was show-up and they loaded my pickup.Upon arriving at home, I removed a plank and placed it on my family room floor - a perfect match although the floors were manufactured over a year apart.I am very pleased and will certainly go with HFW for any future flooring needs.It looks like they were thrust into complete online transactions by the COVID situation and that they can use some technology upgrades to easier serve customers - especially first time buyers.

UPDATE as promised: the work got completed and the crew on the second part of the job was much more professional and did a good job. Still will not use this company again for installation. I think they outsource and do poor estimation on the amount of time it takes to complete a job. If they estimate right and can finish in a day, you will likely have a good experience. If they estimate time incorrectly and it takes more than a day, you are at the mercy of the sales person to make it happen.Old review: The installation process is a disaster. The job is still incomplete. Called our sales person over and over- kept saying they will be there in 20. No one has showed. Very shady business on the installation. Will be writing a complaint on BBB and will also be looking into filing a small claims suit. They have you pay the install job in full. Should have been a red flag. Save yourself the trouble and money and don’t use them as they don’t fully finish the job.Side note: I believe in being fair, should the work end up being completed, I will update my review.

If I could give a 10 star review I would. Justin with HFW was the greatest salesman and construction lead I have ever worked with, and I have worked with a lot of contractors.No pressure sales, handled the job perfectly, always answered the phone, and dealt with any issues immediately. Even after the job was done he drove to our house not once but twice to drop off stuff we might need (it was over an hour drive for him). Again, cant praise him or HFW highly enough.

I worked with Alina. She pushed my orders through quickly and scheduled installation crews that did quality work in a timely manner.Will definitely be using her for flooring projects in the Houston area.

Have to say have worked with a few different flooring companies in the past and it’s nice to have found S&H. The customer service is impecable with installers that are courteous, on time, and have done a great job on a few of our projects. Justin to be specific is always willing to go the extra mile! No matter how quick a turnaround or what time Ive reached out, he always gets it done!

Our family bought a house in Spring and wanted new carpet and a new floor in one bathroom before we moved in. They gave us a great price and some quality carpet. Helped up pick out carpet that fit our price range but was high enough quality to last. Plus showed us the options on padding. We had the fake wood floor put in the bathroom and looks great. Was very inexpensive. They were able to install quickly and installer was on time. Carpet was installed a few months ago so just thought I should finally give a review. Our carpet is much better than builder quality as we never had loose fibers on the floor and the bag on the vacuum never filled with carpet fibers from getting cleaned. Our cost was only slightly more than their builder quality. We saved about 50% from what this would have cost us at one of the big home improvement stores and got higher quality.

Great selection of flooring! Justin worked with us to pick out exactly what we needed and we love it! We had special circumstances and he worked around those. We had two jobs done and both were handled with care. The crew that came out was friendly, they took care in our home to cover things that could get messed up and they did a great job. We will definitely use them again!

It pains me to write this, but I depend on reviews written by others when making purchasing decisions, so I have to contribute when my experience warrants warning others. As a woman, especially one who is under 32, male sales people always try to take advantage of their misguided opinion that young women dont know much - this experience was no different.The first time I did business with them earlier this year, my experience was awesome. My salesperson was Stephanie, and everything went smoothly for a reasonable price. Fast forward to now, I need more flooring installed so I visited the store to pick my material. Because my previous experience was awesome with Stephanie, I wanted to work with her again. Unfortunately, she was out on a job, so I told the representative that she was my salesperson.Even though I made it clear that I was only there to pick my material and wanted to work with my previous salesperson, another rep chose to insert himself as the salesperson on my job. What makes this bad, is that he padded his quote which hiked the price substantially! For example, on my first job, I was charged $35 per room for them to move my furniture. I ended up having two rooms of furniture moved for that job for a grand total of $70 to move furniture. This time around, this person quoted me $700 to move 5 appliances, per his quote! The first time I used them, I laid new flooring throughout the entire house with the exception of two bathrooms and the kitchen. This time around, I simply wanted to go ahead and complete the two bathrooms and the kitchen (for which I had two boxes of material left over for).To add insult to injury, I called the store to speak with a manager and it just so happened that this particular sales person answered the telephone. When I asked him to speak with a manager, he told me that the managers name was Simon and that Simon had left for the day. I asked for the correct spelling of Simons name and this sales rep assured me that it was, S-i-m-o-n. I later found out that the persons actual name is Salmon and that Salmon is just another salesperson and not a manager. This was clearly an attempt to steer me away from making contact with the real manager to make my complaint, which is beyond unprofessional and underhanded.I dont want this review to be too long, but ladies beware. My experience was that I wasnt a valued customer to the male sales reps and treated like I was not knowledgeable enough to recognize when Im being misinformed and ripped off.Women arent dummies folks!

Definitely go with this place if you’re looking to put floor in. They have an amazing selection of high quality flooring at very reasonable prices. We worked with Jonas on carpeting a bedroom in the house and he upgraded our padding and threw in tack strips for free. Very helpful and budget friendly and the final product looks amazing. Took the installers two hours to do what wouldn’t taken me days of headache. Will likely be flooring the rest of our house with Jonas so I’ll update as the project progresses.

I do a lot of business with S&H. They are my go to company for all my flooring needs. Never had an issue and they are always going over and beyond. Justin and Alina are the best.

We use SH Flooring for all our investment properties and properties we manage and flip. The flooring in a rental property needs to be able to withstand a lot of wear and tear. Since it is a rental, you want the material you choose to be cost effective, but you do not want to be replacing the floors every year, so you need to choose something that is also durable. Working with SH Flooring has the fastest turn around and always reasonable and reliable.

My wife and I own and operate a small business in northwest Houston and had a need to replace our carpet in our building. We went to Houston Flooring Warehouse. We had read reviews and saw the most current one about a salesman named Titus. Recognizing his name from review I asked him about the review. He was very pleasant and actually followed us to our business and stayed with us for 3 hours total measuring and helping us pick our carpet. He pointed us in the direction of carpet tiles for offices. We love it we have gotten many compliments. Also the installers names were George and Jose they did spectacular work and were left unattended over the weekend to finish the job. We are very happy with our experience!

We had a great experience with this place. Titus worked with us every step of the way. He even stayed late to accommodate our busy work schedules. The finished product is beautiful and we got everything at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had an amazing experience from being greeted by Steve to installation. It took the nice men 2 days to lay our hand scraped wood look vinyl plank flooring and it was a little over 1100 sqft. I will say be warned, you will have to do a deep clean after installation from all of the residue, but Steve warned us it will be dusty so it was no biggy. We will be back to get our stairs and upstairs done soon!! Also, you cant beat the pricing, our floors were 2.69 per sqft with the floors and installation, no where we shopped beat that!!! My husband and I needed carpet for a small space. The employers were really helpful. Titus helped us and we got the carpet we needed in a timely manner. They have good deals and try to work with me.

We have a home in Champions that needed the solid wood floors restained, all new carpet in the bedrooms and livingroom. Lastly, we had all the tile in the kitchen and baths redone with new tile. Matt and his team did a great job! The installers were awesome... The follow up was timely and thorough. If i could figure out how to load pictures on this review I would!! Highly recommend!!!

Salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. He discussed the pros and cons of each type of flooring and even helped us match the current hardwood to vinyl planks. The installation was speedy and the price was unbeatable.

Found them on next-door gave them a shot and i was really impressed with there excellent customer service, the atmosphere, and what really sealed the deal or was their PRICES!!! I did my whole home and i saved nearly 30% other places where charging me out of the ass. I defently recommend them. They do have the better deals than the other companies its really good quality as well.

Just amazed at how different Hugh treated me compared to other flooring stores and outlets I talked with in Houston. I spent way too much time on my phone and realized that making a quick trip to Houston Flooring Warehouse solved all my problems and put my mind at ease about my purchase. Great company. Outstanding customer service by Justin who went above and beyond answering every question I had.

Poor baseboard installation experience. Installer tracked glue from his shoes onto floor. We cannot remove it due to the gloss finish on the floors. Further, the installer damaged our epoxy floors when removing baseboards due to negligent removal procedures. The installer then falsely stated that we approved of him destroying our floor.We were not home and were in meetings while the installation occurred. When we finally did reach him by phone, the damage was already done.Rather than investigating the issue, this company not only sided with the installer (who had no proof of his permission to damage our property), but stated other lies such as they were not supposed to remove the baseboards in the first place. If that were the case, then why did the installer do it - especially if we were not there to authorize it? Further, the company has been extremely defensive and advised that the installer was one of the best...and had done work in homes that were much bigger and better than ours. That is no way to treat customers.I did not receive so much as an apology from this company for the $1800 worth of damage their installer caused. Oh, did I mention we later discovered that the installer had some young lady in our home removing baseboards? Again, no apology for that either. The prices are not worth the hassle or the damage to your property. This company will not take responsibility and will threaten to put a lien on your property if you file a claim or dispute the charge (even though their bill is paid in full). If you still decide to proceed with this company, then negotiate a better price to account for the repair youll have to do later. They certainly wont contribute to repairing the damage their contractors cause.

I would refer Houston Flooring Warehouse based on the work they did for us. Some flooring contractors didnt even want to give me a quote when I told them the size of the project, which was about 400 square feet plus 12 steps. Wife loves the look of the floor they helped pick out, too bad she didnt like my choice of rugs and sofa.

The best carpet prices in town with installation included! I shopped and called for long enogh, so I finally went to their location and got everything i wanted. I heard a lot of good sales pitches but when they can combine quality, service and installation, that is just hard to find...A++

HUGE DELAYS WITH JOB LEFT UNFINISHED.ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.The carpet installation was five days late, which is a big deal when youve moved your furniture out of the way in preparation and have other contractors waiting to come do their jobs. Dan completely dropped the ball on keeping us informed about delays, almost every day we were expecting installers to show up. Most of the time we couldnt even get a hold of him, or anyone who knew what was going on, when we did talk, Dan would just go around blaming everyone he worked with (except himself of course). When they did finally show up, they RAN OUT OF CARPET AND COULDNT FINISH THE JOB. Our measurements matched up with previous carpet bids of people who would actually come out and measure (unlike Flooring Warehouse). Apparently this is something that happens often with Dans customers and I wonder if this is a dishonest sales tactic to keep the INITIAL price low. Over the next MONTH we tried various ways to once again get a hold of Dan to get the job completed. He wanted to charge more money including a fee for them coming out again! We said theyre not getting another dime from us.

I recently went to Houston Flooring Warehouse to replace my carpet with hardwood floor, and had a great experience. The hardwood selection was outstanding with pricing right in our budget.

After the real owners saw this post he called immediately & cleared up the matter & for that Im grateful. Thank you for an awesome recovery strategy!Horrible experience. First even after we specifically spoke about this, where my upstairs squeaked, so i knew the nails needed to be repaired or replaced the owner got amnesia & didnt want to do it. The owner was unprofessional & didnt return my call when I several messages about where my extra carpet was. Also the carpet is buckling all over my house. I have to find someone to fix it & make it tight. Not happy.

I ordered and paid the tile and the salesman told me I would get a reference ID and location to pick up the next day. Next day, I called them twice, they picked up and said they would proceed right away and send me the text message. I waited few hours and no text arived. I called them 9 times later, left voicemail and nobody picked up or returned the phone. My uncle skipped work to do the tile installtion for me but he waited whole day without doing anything. So frustrated!!!

Titus, who works here, has a negative attitude, acted like I wasted his time by asking for inexpensive grey carpet for a remodel Im doing, and when I asked about delivery, he told me how could I expect him to deliver free. And said he will walk me out of his store. I Never asked for free delivery, Im willing to pay because we live in America and I am an American. But Titus, in my opinion is a carpet nazi. Either he got me confused with someone else, or hes a tad bit racist, or hes just an ass. Go somewhere else where you can get treated like a human being. Not here

INITIALLY Had a great experience with Titus who set us up and had us taken care with professionalism at first. He wasnt pushy or rude, and provided answers without trying to up sell. His big seller was that tile is cut perfect and will result in even grout lines and other places wont have that upside. Well we got the tile, we were shorted a few pieces, some of the pieces were chipped out of the box, and not all of them lined up evenly as he claimed they would. There were also issues with what we were told for install and that was frustrating as we expected one thing and another played out. I wanted a morning start and he said they would be there about 10 or 11 because they pick up materials first. I was okay with that however it was not the case, and we were never updated on that change. I called them several times for updates- Stephanie said it would be by noon latest when we called first. Well noon came around and no one- we got the excuse that they are to stop at several places for the material, which should have been planned for when they sold and set up our install. Then she said the sales person should have told us its between 9 and 12- we were NEVER told that otherwise we would have planned accordingly. I then called at 12 and was told it would be closer to 1230. Then got told 1, then it was 1:30. The timing issue was poor communication, and after the fact they made it seem like it was our misunderstanding- which amazed me. Needless to say the warehouse does not plan well with communicating to their installers and buyers. I definitely would not have been okay with a customer having to jump thru so many miscommunications.At 1:30, when the installers arrived they were great! Prep work was done and they were fast with getting started and ripping up carpet. I wish they would have covered the furniture but that is a lesson learned for next time. So far installers hve been great, I can tell where some of the tile is definitely not cut well because it doesnt line up flush with other pieces in the box which we looked at, so disappointed in the sales pitch from Titus. His reference to his 2nd class demo pieces was clearly a sales pitch that we fell for- of course what he has set up in store will be what hes trying to sell you on. The installers did a great job of making sure everything was installed well, they kept as clean as possible, and were very polite and respectful. Alex and his crew did great.Had major issues and disregard when trying to get a detailed invoice- it was like pulling teeth. I had been asking for a break down of labor, supplies, taxes, and credit card fee (some merchants allow this- others do not). I wanted the information provided and the emails we got were very blunt and not at all professional.Essentially the email to a paying customer came down toNo other way I can break it down for you....Bottom line you got a very good deal. I typically install the sametile for....So you got it for $1.00 less...l copy and pasted my request and it took multiple emails for the invoice to be provided- which showed up after I updated reviews as this process went on. I did omit pricing as I know that they may be different and they are able to adjust- however for anyone interested in how that went I will openly discuss my experience.Titus did reach out and let me know he felt the review was unfair and that because I got a good product and install he felt this was unfair and I can say the resolution was made and my invoice finally arrived. The over all sales experience was not one I would put at the top of my list, however they did make a good faith effort to justify their end. The tile is installed and we are very happy with the contractors sent out to install, as well as the product. Due to the resolution of requests and the installers doing a fantastic job, my overall rating would be a 3/5 due to the great installation side of the experience, as well as the extension of communication to provide the invoice with the requested information (labor/supplies/taxes/cc charges).
