Update: November 2020My insurance called to find out what the issue was and the customer service rep was very rude and unprofessional. Forced my insurance agent to end the call. Insurance agent gets back on the phone and said she never dealt with a nasty person in her entire career and see why I had issues. I told her that treatment is the reason why they will not work with me. They claim I was like that. She stated that I would be surprised if you would have treated them the same way. But wouldnt blame you. She will never use them in her future calls with other clients.My counselor talked to me today to get involved to help me get the proper wheelchair and I explained that I cant use Numotion and told them what happen and She stated they will not use them because of certain comments I mentioned the employees said. First of all it is what the client needs not what they will do for them.I needed a new power wheelchair and wanted a company that would be able to assist me through this new process. I was hoping it was as smooth as The Scooter Store or Hoverround and it was the worst experience Ive had. I started back in January with my insurance. It has been 9 months since I have started this process but 3 month with numotion and they have made it drag. Then my order was canceled and I dont know how canceled it because at first the Charles guy just denied the process then the Dallas location stepped in and fixed it. After that it was canceled and I was outsourced to a company I cannot find online nor was it in network so back to ground zero with this process of replacing my power wheelchair.The people over the phone I spoke to are very professional but I still cant get the power wheelchair.UPDATE:The company doesnt work with patient that have medicare or medicaid. After working with them for 4 months they have made a decision based off of nothing and are pushing me to another company that provides group 3 power wheelchairs. Numotion most likely made the decision base off of me calling my insurance every day to get some results. I have now been waiting 10 months to obtain my DME. I have to have surgery soon and will not have the proper DME in time. Thanks to this company, obamacare, and my secondary medicare plan.Update update:Numotion told my insurance that they were helping me on Monday November the 10th and on veterans day they called me to tell me they were not going to help me. I was give the information that will allow me to obtain the group 3 power wheelchair but they refuse without giving a reason. I ask why many times so that if it was a insurance issue I could get it fixed. They told my insurance that I returned down the loaner. That was false I accepted the dirty loaner and it wasnt worth the acceptance because it couldnt even go into my house with a ramp. So I had them pick it up.Numotion sent a serviceman to service my old chair and can you believe it....... the serviceman wasnt equipped to service a standard group 2 power wheelchair. Very unprofessional service. My chair now is unusable because of the wheels.Numotion keeps lying to my insurance company and it doesnt make any sense to do so. So 10 months trying to get a replacement group 3 power wheelchair. Half the issue is my insurance fault and the other is numotion. Also they faxed my medical records to a another group 2 company without my permission.Nov. 16th UPDATE:Finally the head employee contacted me and told me again they do not think I am a fit customer for them. She told me to contact the National Seating and Mobility because they have my information. I called NSM and they treated me with the same disrespect as Numotion and again NSM said they do not provide group 3 power wheelchair. The ladies voice was as if I ran over her cat or something. Either these Companies are afraid of being shut down for supplying a group 3 power wheelchair or they just flat out hate military people.I think after todays conversation all 4 of the people I have talked to should be laid off. Theres no need to disrespect your costumers.

Customer service? What a joke these people are horrible IF there was anyone else that took my insurance I would have taken my business elsewhere long ago!! I’ve been waiting for a new wheelchair seat cushion for 2 months now. The original, plus the replacement, and now the replacement for the replacement have both run out of air and I’m sitting on my wheelchair sling and the metal bars until they finally do whatever it is that they need to do to bring me a cushion that actually works. They are one excuse after another as I already mentioned they should not called them selves Numotion but instead NuExcuses.If I could’ve given them lower than a one star I would have it would’ve probably been negative 5!,

Absolutely terrible. I would like to give a 0 instead of a star. I asked a lady called Be Be, if she was the coordinator, and she replied you know that I am, very sarcastic. My husband had a stroke 5 yrs ago and he is due a new wheel chair. She never called me back like the office said she would. So after about about a month or so I was able to talk to her, I called again. And after her remark, she said I was attacking her and was going to put me on hold. So I am in the process of taking my business elsewhere. Terribly frustrating in trying to help my 81 yr old husband. Will try to find out who owns this company.

I love all the people that work there only person I wish would get fired is Elizabeth front desk receptionist she’s the rudest person in the entire universe I can’t believe she works there. Always screams at people over the phone and not only that the phone rings and lets it ring until she feels like answering. I would do a better job than her just saying.

My son and I went in for a repair on his power wheelchair. Karen Campbell was kind, helpful and called Andrew Lopez the tech to come out and look at his chair. He fixed the problem. Thank you so much for taking the time to fix the problem. We appreciate it so much.

I cant say enough good things about these guys! I found them through a Google search. My mother and I had just finished with a doctors appointment. Her wheelchair was needing the brakes repaired as well as some screws in the backrest. We were in the area so we stopped in. Everyone was very friendly from the receptionist, to Karen who took our information, all the way to the repair guy. I wish Id got his name but he worked us in and repaired my moms wheelchair while we waited. He did an awesome job! I think he was actually on his way out when we got there but he took the time to help us out and we so appreciated it! Will definitely use them from now on for any wheelchair servicing.

My husband has orders for a standing frame. Nu-Motion was given these orders 6 weeks ago. Every week passes with the promise that someone will be out to measure him for this frame so it can be ordered for him. No one ever shows up. They must be making money hand over fist if they can just walk away from a sale like this... BUT We are done. Looking for a vendor that is responsive and wants to see my husband receive the equipment he needs to improve.

If you want something in a timely manner, dont expect it. I requested a new seat cushion and quotation for it. About 6 months later, they called me back about it to see if I still need a replacement cushion. At this rate, I expect they will come back to me with a quote in another 6 months.

If I could post 0 stars I would.... I ordered a bed with the company...I left messages and no one never returned my calls. Its been over 8 weeks and they still have not ordered my bed yet. Even though my son needs the bed I will wait and to through the process with another company...they don’t care about their clients.

I cant see how theyve gotten anymore than one star. Ive known this company since 18 years ago when they were Rehab Specialties. They used to be very attentive, fast, and nice, but each time the get bought out they grow and service suffers (3 buy outs). Theyre a shell of themselves. Nobody knows me anymore, and its up to you to call everyday, hound them, and complain incessantly. I think they are mostly concerned with new chairs, after that good luck.

These people never return my phone calls after leaving messages (so theres no excuse there). I had to go in in person to talk to somebody there after waiting three to four months on my parts. Which brings me to the other thing they move as slow as molasses! Run a way! When they ordered me an axle they also ordered the brackets the anti-tip bars all things that I did not need I guess to make the bill more expensive.( Not Cool! )

My experience with them was horrible. First, I had to call after 2 weeks after the doctor sent the prescription because no one contacted me.They finally assigned and said they would work on it. Never called me back. I called them again and they still have not done one single thing. This is almost a month later and being passed around to four different people ( Heather and Rosie). Calling doctor to send somewhere else.

Went there to fix a chair I bought from them today. Andrew met me at the door and took my wheelchair frame. I sat in my truck ate lunch while he fixed the back of my Quick 7R manual wheelchair. He brought it back out to me good as new.

It consistently takes 6 months plus to get started on anything. Even when doing all of the Leg work to get documentation together they just sit on it. No return calls, just a terrible vendor. HHS should kick them off the list.

This is the worst company I’ve ever did business with in with in my life. I’ve been getting the runaround for my WC repairs since October 2017. I spoke to the GM Christin, the regional manager Amy Holdner and few different Reps from TIRR. I still haven’t gotten any thing accomplished. *******WARNING!!!! PLEASE AVOID DOING ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!********* This company has created a monopoly in Houston with the help of TIRR.

Horrible horrible customer service. I called just to get an appointment for somebody to help us get a wheelchair - 5 phone calls and two days later I was finally told that the rep in my area was in training and that she would give me a call when she was ready....The administrative assistant in the office started talking over me when I got frustrated, instead of apologizing for the mess. Needless to say I called another company and within 5 mins I had the name of the rep, an appointment and a very cheerful professional person assisting me - what a difference! I work for a large healthcare company and they just lost quite a bit of business by being so unhelpful and rude. Never again will I call Numotion!

We started our process with them the beginning of December. My son was having surgery on his leg and we were looking to get a chair for him to get around easier before and after the surgery since his cerebral palsy is going to last his life. The guy came out the middle of December to get his measurements and he told me I’d hear from them by the first of the year regarding his chair! Here it is February 5th and I just got a call that they need to come measure him again cause the measurements didn’t get into the computer correctly! Then itll be 3 weeks to get his chair! This is frustrating I will need the chair in the long run but this is unnecessary that 2 months later they call and say that his measurements were messed up on their end and they have remeasure him and then send more paperwork to the doctor to sign and then get it approved by insurance yet again!

They have improved over the years as we all know its Difficult dealing with insurances. The current staff that has been there is very help to everyones certain needs..I have been using (Numotion&Etc) for a good while and seen the change at this location. My wife was approved for a scooter back on 04/10/2018 by the insurance company and yet this so called company that is suppose to help you with your equipment has done every thing possible to stop her from getting her equipment. The people do not return phone calls, they promise to call back week after week and just don’t care about their custermers. I honestly believe that they are trying to wait till she dies before they have to fill her order.if anybody is reading these reviews please find and use another company for these services. What an incompetent company and to think they do this to people that need the equipment.

I have been trying to get my seat elevator fixed for over 6 months now. At first the technician could not even diagnose the issue properly. Finally I was told after 4 months that they would have to replace the entire lift motor although it was just the sensor. Initially after 4 months of diagnosing the problem, when this order was turned in to my insurance they denied coverage. So I appealed the denial and asked NuMotion to place my order on hold until I heard back from the appeal and get authorization on this repair order. Because of their impatience NuMotion cancels my order without even talking to me about this. My insurance did approve my appeal and when I contacted NuMotion today they told me they had canceled my order. I clarified that it would take a while to hear back from my insurance company about this appeal. NuMotion stated that they contacted me several time. They did NOT! After NuMotions incompetence and horrible service over many months and years now with other repair issues, I give them F- on their customer service. I am going to give my business to another vendor since this company thinks that they can treat a long standing custom this way who has spent more than $60,000 doing business with them.

I ordered a wheel chair for my son while he was at a rehab center from numotion. A person by the name of agustin aguilera went out to take measurements. Aguilera was looked very professional and outgoing and promised to do everything he could to get the wheelchair, even as far a having a loner chair for us. Well 4 months later we still have no wheel chair and aguilera is ignoring all my calls and emails. I even called Elizabeth silguero his co-worker and shes the same. No return calls, no return emails nothing from them. These two people are completely useless when it comes to the medical field. I would recommend not using this company with such ridiculous workers.

Its sad how i see people abusing our system. I see this lady that can walk and everyday she rides a motor scotter. But ive been applying for a scotter for my elderly sister through the doctor and hes written prescription more than 4 times and united health and Nu Motion still hasnt complyed. Our system is confussed. Our goverment is corrupted. I see this lady daily and she says she can walk but choose to ride. Im no hatter. But my sister cant F...... walk and in SEVER PAIN!! BUT CANT GET HELP.DAM WHAT IN WORLD IS GOING ON .PRAYER TIME😣😣She the lady dont want nor never worked and she told me out her own mouth. But get a scotter and hospital and wheelchair grant all in her garage. My elderly sister charlestine jackson cant get a scooter nor a bed lifter that i can get her in and out bed. Grant my back and knees are going out because of me lifting her. But people who dont need help is getting all the help while people that is dying or in severe pain and hardship is suffering .
