Desert Dentistry was excellent with my first visit, Morgan was awesome and helped with making feel at ease in a new dentist office!!!! I have found a great place to have my much needed dental work. April my dental hygienist made my teeth shine, no pain with the cleaning, thank you April!! Dr. Mayorga is very knowledgeable and put me at ease for my next appointments!! Thank you to a great team!!!

I just went in for my first initial visit at Desert Dentistry yesterday. From walk in to walk out - the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Mayorga was amazing and her assistant was as well. (Sorry I forgot her name - will remember next time I come in next). They really took their time to map out and x-ray my teeth and took the time to show and explain to me what was happening and what the next steps were. I totally recommend anyone to go and see Dr. Mayorga!!

I originally paid over $350 (with insurance) to get 3 fillings. 6 months later I get a call that they couldnt get insurance to cover everything so I had to pay additional $200. Back and forth with my insurance and they are basically saying that they will not cover their prices since you can get that kind of job elsewhere for much cheaper. Now, I understand this is on both insurance and their end but if you give me an estimate and I pay it I should not have to pay that difference. Bottom line is I paid over $550 to get 3 fillings and I took 2 wisdom teeth out at another office for $250 (with insurance). Beware of their prices. Everyone in this office is extremely nice and very friendly its just the price that I am NOT OK with. One star for friendly staff and zero for pricing!

Such a great experience. I decided to have invisalign installed and throughout the experience the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable in answering my questions. Making this experience much easier than I thought it would be.

Everything was smooth and fast. I was called back before my appointment time. Cleaning was quick, Dr. V even fixed an issue on dental work she did not do for no extra cost. Everyone is super nice, they keep all areas even the lobby spotless.

The doctors and staff are always professional, kind and willing to go the extra mile to help out their patients. I was able to get a last minute, same day apt when I had a tooth ache. The staff went about and beyond to set with up with a specialist.

Everyone here is great and super friendly. Felt right at home. The hygienists walked me through my photos and explained what I was seeing and what procedures would do to fix it. After, we looked over the bill item-by-item. I’d recommend Desert Dentistry to anyone.

I went to urgent care 2 hours before my appointment. I called them because I didn’t know if I could make it there in time. They went out of their way to say they would keep the appointment and if I couldn’t make it they would not charge a cancellation fee. I did make it and they were great as always. Quality care and they care about their patients.

Excellent service. I’ve been a patient for four years and Desert Dentistry has been wonderful to work with as the same-day crowns I had from a previous dentist broke. I feel confident in their technology, the office is comfortable, and the staff is friendly and flexible.

I would like to say that the hygienist April is very thorough and detail orientated and really cares for my teeth. She is a very nice and sweet person. Even when she is busy and fully booked she makes a way to get me in on her schedule even on short notice. I would highly suggest going there and ask personally for April.

Been going here for years since their old location and I have nothing bad to say… Fantastic staff to make you feel comfortable and at home. Great doctors who care about your oral health. The facility is spotless and makes you feel totally safe. They have really great late hours as well as being open on Saturday so pretty much they have you covered even if you work a lot. Like I said I’ve been going there for 15 years so I highly suggest this place.

I have been coming to Desert Dentristry for the better part of a decade and woke up this morning with a hurting tooth. They got me in by 10am to see a doctor and I am on my way to feeling better.

These stars go to Dr Villalobos, only. She was super nice and was very helpful with getting me back on track with my dental hygiene.As for the rest of the services, I am thoroughly disappointed in the fact that this place does not work with you and your budget when it comes time to pay for services. It’s either all or nothing. I’ve been to other places that would do planned payments according to what you’re able to fork out each month.To top it off they have a cancellation fee of $213 and nursing staff does not know how to update notes properly within the patient chart. My appt was on July 7th and I told them I called on the 5th of July and the excuse was that they must’ve had a lot of voicemails from the holiday…explained that I spoke with someone on that day, I did not leave a VM. But that makes me think…you are still going to charge that person, that left a VM way in advance the cancellation fee??! Doesn’t seem like good customer service…She then tells me that there is a $25 rescheduling fee if not done 48hrs from previous appt time; honey, thank you for helping me take the ridiculous fee off my account, but please tell your management that I never plan on coming back here again.

Every single member that interacted with me was very friendly. The first woman that helped me with X-rays was patient and kind and helpful. Tannya inspected my teeth and gave me a breakdown as to what was troublesome with my teeth. She was supportive and reassuring while she cleaned my teeth. She was very efficient and hard working and she checked on me throughout the process. She was also very knowledgeable with an answering my questions and making suggestions. It was comforting knowing the doctor looked over my teeth once more and made assessments. When I was checking out the lady at the front filled me in on her experience with Invisalign and gave me a breakdown of how much I need to pay to get Invisalign. Five stars A+ experience. Thank you!

Just moved here 4 weeks ago from New Jersey and I was worried about finding a good dentist especially since we’ve been going to one that we loved for the past 5 years. it’s always scary changing doctors/dentistry/providers etc, but this place was highly recommend to me by my best friend Kristy. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The staff and doctor made me feel like I knew them for a while. I’m so happy to call Desert Dentistry our new family Dentist.

I broke my tooth on a Friday night and they got me in for an evaluation first thing Saturday morning. I was very anxious and apprehensive. Dr. Villalobos was so kind and reassuring. She took her time explaining the procedure and making sure that I was alright every step of the way even when they had multiple emergencies and appointments that day. I was able to calm down and feel at ease. She even called me a few hours later to check on me and make sure that I was alright. She is a fantastic dentist and I highly recommend her. The entire staff from Dr. V to the assistants and the receptionists were so warm and caring. I would give them ten stars if I could!!!

Im new to Desert Dentistry since over the years I slowly became disenchanted with my previous dental group. Recently my crown/tooth snapped off at the base and had to be extracted/replaced with either a bridge or implant. I chose the implant route. The day of my dental extraction/implant procedure I was a little nervous about the usual, procedure complications (easy or hard extraction), the implant stem drilled into the bone, and post surgery swelling and pain. In my past dental history Ive only met one dentist that I would consider gifted with his hands. He was methodical, focused, very knowledgeable, and since he had gifted hands he was efficient and quick. He has since retired. However I have found the same above mentioned skills in Dr. Mitchell at Dental Dentistry. I had no post surgery bleeding, no swelling, no pain, and the surgical area felt no different that the day before the surgery. Wow!I would like to say It was my great health and quick healing body (Im in my mid 60s), but I believe most of the credit goes to Dr. Mitchells extraordinary skill and gifted hands. We love Dr. V at Desert Dentistry! The whole staff is always so genuinely nice and I cannot say how much I appreciate that my appointments actually start on time. I have been going to this office for a couple of years now but I also started bringing in my 4 year old son and he never complains when I say were going to the dentist. During this time of COVID, I have no hesitations on the cleanliness of this office which is also a big relief. I dont like dentists, I get anxious and scared. With that being said I love going to Desert Dentistry. The staff is fantastic, the dentists are fantastic, and they were even able to bring in an anesthesiologist to help me through a procedure, who was of course fantastic. Service has been inconsistent. Each time I have been there I get a different dental hygienist so it’s been hit and miss for transfer of information. There has been an occasion my insurance wasn’t ran and payment was required before service. Then just yesterday I’m charged after service for what was a preventative regular cleaning only to be told at check out I owe for the service. Lack of communication, not reading charts in advance and frequent staff changes has made it difficult for me as a patient. This office has a lot of good things but the negatives outweigh the good causing it to feel more like a clinic instead of a premier dental office in Ahwatukee.

Can not say enough good things about this place. I had not been to the dentist in years and I was terrified of how bad my teeth would be, plus the shame of not going to the dentist for so long. No one said or did anything to make me feel embarrassed or ashamed (even though my teeth need so much work done) and everyone just acted happy to get my teeth and mouth healthy.

Dr. Mitchell and everyone at Desert Dentistry are really fantastic. I always receive great quality of care and all my questions are answered with in depth responses to make me more comfortable with the procedures I am receiving. Staff is very genuine and friendly. I truly appreciate them all.

I went in on Saturday for my first appointment at Desert Dentistry. The experience was So Awesome; that I just had to share it! From booking the appointment to checking in when I got there; to theX-Rays being taken; gums being examined; the experience was exceptional! Then the Doctor walked in and began to go over my X-Rays with me and explained my options. The warm and caring spirit he possessed was a True Blessing! I love that he explained all my options in detail; and did not decide for me that I could not afford any option that is available to me. We love Desert Dentistry!!! Dr Mayorga and the team have always taken great care of us. My husband needed serious dental work from years of medication that deteriorated his teeth. From fillings, crowns, root canals and even implants. He had a severe fear of dentists and they were able to put him at ease. They were kind, gentle and professional. His smile tells it all!
