I have yet to attend this place but now I know for sure I do not wish to. Just trying to have my 3 babies scheduled due a sudden death in the family and they do not take the time to communicate with you at all. I had to call 3 times with in a 2 week span just to see why haven’t we received document or even called to let us know what process they have us on. My babies need to speak with someone and they are not making me feel like my babies are a priority. Bo’s place no need to call me back I’ll look else where thank you.

Went when I lost my mother at age 11yrs old (Im 27 now so 16yrs ago.) only went for a few months but i think about it till this day and everytime I her the song. Lean on me! Its wat I needed at the time. To go into a childrens classroom and talk and draw about my feelings and let it out. It was a great experience for me and then we would eat dessert with the adults and sing the lean on me song before we left. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone especially if u have kids.

I went to Bos place with my mom sister and brother when I was about 7. We went there every Wednesday. My dad died when I was 4 years old so my mom took us here. I loved this place and it really helped me cope. We went to these rooms and drew pictures, talked about are loved ones who dies, painted rocks, went on EPIC camp trips. The food is amazing. And when Bos place is done and we were leaving we would always get the leftovers and my family would ALWAYS GO FIRST AND WIPE THAT FOOD OUT LOL. IT WAS GOOD. PERIODT. I remeber we went to summer camp and my counseler called sparky (i honestly dont know why I called her that it just stuck with me and her) was THE BEST. If your reading this sparky you were the best. At camp there was a icecream with toppings music and it was awsome. After the party I went to sleep in our little cabin with all the other girls. AND I HAD FORGOT MY PAJAMAS LIKE WHYY DID I DO THAT. Sparky was really helpful about it. Anyways if you still dont regonize me or my family were the DeBose family. My sister is Abigail My brother is Marcus my mom is Nancy and my name is Ariel. We have not been to Bos place in YEARS. Were planning on going back when Corona is over. Right now Im 12 in 6th grade and I cant wait to go back. SO MANY MEMORIES IM DYING I WANT TO GO BACK. YOU NEED TO GO TO BOS PLACE PERIODT.

I came here at the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017. I’m so glad my friend suggested this place. After losing my mother and having multiple health problems of my own, I tried counseling and a psychologist. The counselor tried to blame me and the psychologist wanted to protect herself by having me committed after I didn’t want to be on antidepressants. I attempted once with meds and they weren’t for me. So, I tried Bo’s place. If you are grieving a loss this, is where you should be. This is what I wanted to be around others that experienced grieving and bo’s sent us home with activities. It’s like I looked forward to going there. This is what I had told the counselor and the psychologist I needed which was an assignment and a plan on handling my grief. Thanks to the staff and the participants for helping me here at Bo’s!!! I love you all and will never forget you! 10’s across the board!

Bos place helped me in 2012 when we lost our loved one. I had never heard of it or knew what it was. But going there with my 2 little ones help us truly cope with our loss. They are so caring and helped the kids on a level they could understand. I will forever be thankful for this place that helped us on our journey of mourning and now that Im in a better place I hope I can give back to help others who are going through exactly what my family did. Because no loss is ever forgotten but healing is possible and this place shows you how to heal. Thank you Bos Place and staff.

I visited Bos Place for a few months in 2001. 14 years later I still think of my experience there. Looking back at it the staff knew how to make me feel like there was a light amidst the fog I felt from losing my Father. Children at such a young age dont know how to process that kind of grief, but the staff was nothing but loving and empathetic for all the families there. Ill always have a special place in my heart for Bos Place!!! Thank you!!!

Bos Place offers free of charge grief and bereavement support services. The staff is amazing and they create wonderful support groups and there are meaningful ways to volunteer. Their motto is Where hearts are healed and it couldnt be more true.If you or someone you know has experienced the death of a loved one, and having a hard time managing grief, please consider calling Bos Place. The support groups offered at Bos Place are a safe environment to share your experiences and grief journey with others who will understand. They specialize in providing support for children who have experienced the death of a sibling or parent, and the families of those children. Save your breath and look for something better. The people here are heartless, terrible people who forcibly remove you from their program if they feel you arent grieving properly.
