I just realized that the best way to get a hold of this place is by leaving a negative review.Don’t waste your time.I’ve been waiting for 3 months for them to do their job.

So I am super torn with this review because I love my psychiatrist and therapist. But the front desk staff really needs to up their knowledge and skill set. My doctor ordered me to get a blood test… the front desk failed to put in the order… they failed to tell me that it was a fasting order….so I literally went to quest Diagnostics 3 times…. Also they don’t know how to explain to you how to log into your portals to chat with the doctors. Seriously. I could do a better job than them. Also one of the front desk staff members flat out lied to me about my waiting room ID and password twice! Seriously. Not cool.

The doctor was great, but good luck talking to someone in the office or getting any follow-up communication with this organization. If you try to call and speak to someone, you get a voicemail. They do not follow-up consistently. Try to go online and schedule an appointment and they tell you to call. When you call, no one answers. They must be printing money and not need new clients, because their follow-up and access is the worst I’ve ever experienced.

I had an appointment scheduled for a week. They called me 13 hours before and said they were cancelling the appointment because the doctor was not accepting new patients. Even though they were when I booked the appointment. They called after hours so I could not even call back and talk to anyone. Will be sure to not use any Lifestance Health branches, it is absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of someone from this office repeatedly to make an appointment. Took over a week and then my doctor was a no show and no one will speak to me now. Even though I waited 30 minutes I’m charged as a no show when I’m literally waiting asking why my doctor hasn’t shown up yet. Good luck trying to speak to anyone here. You get an automated message and never physically speak to anyone it’s just a referral to their message center that takes days to hear back from.

Dr. Berríos was amazing and I am extremely happy to have her as my psychiatrist. She explained everything and took her time to understand my needs and the best way to move forward.

I have been seen by a lot of doctors. But Ms. ABBY by far has been the most understanding person I have ever met. I really appreciate her and the way she handled situations specially with me. Love her vibe. Bless you Ms. Abby

Great service from Doctor berrios. She was excellent. I felt like she knew me for years. The process was the negative part. I didn’t get but one message from klara. They never picked up the phone. I had to go personally to the office to make an appointment. The lady at the front was nice once I was there. But the day if my appointment it was almost cancelled because the forms had to be filled online instead of in print. So the process before my appointment was not a pleasant one. But the appointment itself went great. Doctor berrios is really good.

Ms. Abiola has failed to address the mental health abuse she inflicted onto me and continued to neglect it when I reached out to her. Be careful here.

TRASH COMPANY - failed to refil my prescriptions for two months while changing insurance / jobs and then they let me know a whole month after waiting that they will not refil my prescriptions expiring in two days. Spoke to them multiple times about the issue and they seemed it would be figure out, but nothing. How is this even safe to do to someone? They said the only way to do get it is to set up a new appointment is to pay $115 for the appointment they failed to actually schedule me for, and then I would have to pay an extra $185 for a 5 minute call to get my refill. Moneyhungry and Careless. This is a prime example of MALPRACTICE. Reporting to the state board ASAP.And please don’t reply on here with your “wecare@lifestance” email because you and your office manager in the Katy office DO NOT CARE - except for quick money practices of course!

The doctor and therapist are fine. But the management and running of the place is a disaster. They never, and I am not exaggerating when I say never, answer the phone. They do not return messages left via voicemail or Klara. I literally had to physically go to the office to finally get someone to speak to. Their billing is a mess too. In my reconciliation of my account they owe me money but according to them IOwe them. I do not!! Their explanation makes little to no sense. Point being my insurance company says my share is $. They charged me almost double what my share is supposed to be. If they don’t quickly get their act together I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Horrible experience. Called in the morning to set up and appointment since it was supposed to be in network for my provider. Appointment was cancelled and moved to the Richmond location because the therapist was not accepting new patients. When I got back in touch with the scheduling department to ask to be sent back to the Katy office, I was set up with the same therapist who was “not accepting new patients”. An hour later, I receive a call that the therapist is the only therapist who does not accept my insurance. So 2 and a half hours of back and forth completed wasted since no one else at the Katy location was able to see my child. From that experience, it seems to be extremely disorganized.

Getting a hold of someone here is IMPOSSIBLE. The only time they bother to call is when they need to collect payment.I made all my appointments through my psychiatrist who has now left the practice.I need my medical history sent over to a new PCP, but calling, leaving voicemails, and messaging leads nowhere. If you are struggling mentally, stay away from this place.Update: I have also emailed them like they requested below and they have not responded.

I scheduled an appointment with them after I found a well-regarded doctor that was in network with my health insurance. Because insurance can be nebulous and confusing, I wasnt able to receive a proper quote for my initial visit until a few hours before my appointment, when I was charged much more than Id paid for in-network services of the exact same nature in the past. I tried to get an explanation for why they were overcharging; I got a vague reference to the deductible of my PPO with a claim that if the insurance paid their share of the fee, the remaining money would be held as credit or as a refund (which would be a hassle for both of us). When I further tried to negotiate, I was bluntly told that the doctor had more patients and was forced to pay the amount - much more than Ive paid for in-network services of a similar nature in the past. I dont know whether the fee itself is fair; however, the fact that I was pressed into paying a large fee reflects just how little regard PBH has for its customers.

Progressive Behavioral Health helped me this summer as I transitioned from living in another city. PBH has an excellent tele-health platform and a secure text communication website and app. I’ve formed a therapeutic bond with Jamila Woods, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I have access to the medications and healthcare advice I need from Chelsea Leary, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Five stars! Ten out of ten!

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I most certainly would... If you need FMLA paperwork filled out, heads up THEY CHARGE A $250 flat fee to do so and don’t run it through insurance, even though they state they charge it “Because it is provider time”! Then when you state “You seem to not be able to do your job” is stated as cursing them out. What a joke! Do yourself a favor and find care elsewhere, this place does not care about their patients but more so, a means to line their pockets anyway they can.
