Mrs. Debbie is awesome! She has a very kind spirit and shes very knowledgeable of the entire apartment complex! I would recommend these apartments to anyone! I was sold after viewing my apartments model! Lovely atmosphere!
I have been residing at this complex since 2019. I have not had any issues. I have been able to renew my lease with no issues. When there is a problem, the maintenance team is best when it comes to getting the job done. The office staff is amazing !
Latricia was so welcoming and kind to my boyfriend and I. She happily showed us around and answered all the questions we had. She made the apartment hunting experience very enjoyable.Thank you so much Latricia! The complex is so beautiful and spacious with many amenities available.
Very courteous! Latricia gladly showed us around and answer all questions! The complex is wonderful and gorgeous, a strong recommendation from me.
I love this place, I moved in back in 2016 due to a family emergency had to move out and now in a hunt for an apartment again and I came straight back over here. My experience living here was great never had any complaints. Loved working with Gina from day one she has been super sweet and Helpful. I’m so glad to know she’s still there and has made the process moving back in so smooth. She has been available for all my questions and has gone above and beyond to help us move back in. So grateful for her
I Had A Wonderful Experience Visiting Park Avenue Apartments ! Debbie in the front office explained everything to me and made sure I was very satisfied. I can’t wait to be apart of Park Ave Apartments ..
Miss Debbie is awesome, She has been very helpful from the beginning of my application all the way to picking up my keys.
A Very well present represented - in a very rapid response of completion documentation an move in within 5 days.
Great place to live . No issues . Gina and Debbie are very reliable and will help you the best they can .
Been here for almost a year and simply put the word “luxury” needs to be taken out of the name. The apartment themselves are great, we love our space. Maintenance is very helpful and nice. However the cons outweigh the pros. Management is hard to get in touch with 9/10 times you call, during business hours. Sometimes they’re nice and helpful, but most of the time you’re catching someone on a bad day apparently by their attitude. The trash is out of control. There is only one trash shoot in the entire complex and it fills up so quickly and ends up laying on the side walk and raccoons come out and tear it all up. I feel awful for the maintenance team that gets out there every single day to clean it up. There should be at least one more trash shoot with the amount of complexes there are. The gates allow way too many people to come through at a time and car parts are stolen from engines frequently or broken into and we are reminded by management that they are not liable but they do not increase the level of security and charge $80/month for a garage. The list goes on but I will say all in all it’s not a terrible place to live by any means, however, I would never associate this with “Luxury” nor do I think their rent rates are justified.
Mrs. Debbie and Mrs. Leticia are doing an excellent job and very helpful when called upon.
Staff very rude. Got evicted for putting apartment on air bnb for 2 days didn’t make any profit. No warning or anything. Property manager tried to get me to move out in 3 days. Called for further info but property manager hung phone up in face. Very disappointed in the living conditions. Do not stay here trash is always build up outside. Raccoons, possums always eating trash.
It was an easy and fast experience especially with the help of Mrs letrisha she guided me through everything made it so simple to fill out the application.
Excellent experience, Latricia is awesome she answered every question, kept me informed through the whole process. She is very nice, welcoming, and very attentive. She got me and my family a new home in 2 weeks under a lot of pressure, Thank you Latricia !
Pls dont waste time or money its a scam you pay around 400 to apply then are forced to give things like social aecurity cards and personal stuff then they cause you to have identity theft not worth it they wont approve you anyways they just take your money now i have to file police report on them
The service for the leasing information was very thorough and kind! Had a very good experience getting a good look of the apartment and what to look forward to.
Heard good things about this apartment complex from a coworker who’s sister in law lives here. Debbie went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Her and the rest of their staff have been nothing but pleasant!
Current resident: great neighbors, overall great apartment with decent amenities, and maintenance is fast. Parking can get crazy from time but overall it isnt a headache. Also, The trash does seem to fill up often but again I can live with that. There are a lot of rules to abide by-- however not too burdensome. The 1 star rating comes from the staff. Ive had great encounters, and some very not great encounters. It honestly feels like if theyre having a bad day, then you are going to know it. The professionalism really kills me some times, well the lack thereof. Sometimes, as mentioned in some of the earlier comments, I do feel like a bother especially if I have to call more than once about an issue. Additionally, the sprinklers come on at a set time every day and you will get a full shower if you happen to try to get to your apartment during the time the sprinklers come on. Again, I can live with some of the nuisances but having a staff that is well trained in customer service... even if they have to fake it, would help. The best encounter Ive had would be with the Property manager... everyone else has been less than a pleasurable encounter. I cannot wait for the lease to be over. Its been a great run, but now going forward, I know I value whos in that leasing office in making my living arrangements. The overall attitude of the staff, not saying this is indicative of EVERY staff member, but the overall attitude, is please.. do not bother us.Also as to the comments regarding Ms. Debbie.. Shes an acquired taste. Get her on a good day, best person ever. Get her when you really need something or just on a bad day, and worst experience ever. Its the inconsistency for me and thats not just unique to Debbie, its for almost all of the staff members.
We have lived here for almost a year and could not be happier. So far our experience has been wonderful. The office staff have been nothing but helpful to us and polite when we have had a request. The maintenance team has been awesome. Although we have only had minor issues they have been quick to fix. Our AC went out on a Sunday morning during the summer and was back on within the hour. Parking can be tight on occasion but nothing we couldnt live with but now have a garage. The only reason that we cannot give a 5 star rating is the trash compactor issue. It is often full especially on the weekend. Either need more frequent pick up or an additional one in the back of the complex. Overall though we are very happy with our choice to move here.
Came here for a tour of the community and the leasing agent Ms Hunter was amazing and very helpful she made our visit feel like Park Avenue was already our forever home.
Came here for a tour of the community and the leasing agent Ms Hunter was awesome she was very friendly and funny. She made the stress of apartment searching a lil less stressful.
Been living here for 2 years now & I have to say..... love it here. If I had any issue at any time, maintenance was quick to get here & fix it, most times they would fix it on the same day! I highly recommend these apartments.
We have lived here for two years now, and we love our apartment. It is very peaceful towards the back, we love our garage, its walking distance to EFL park, and maintenance has been very accommodating. My only concern is the small crime that seems to happen somewhat frequently. My car was broken into twice, and Ive read of other issues on the website. A solution to this problem would be to hire a security guard to patrol the property.
Very pleasant to work with. Latricia was very helpful with the process.
Great apartment complex with great staff
Great Apartments!! Ms.Hunter did everything to get us in and kept me updated on everything!!! highly recommend Ms.Hunter if interested in leasing an apartment!
Community is quiet, and residents seem friendly.. Maintance responds fairly quickly to requests. Community is clean and so far our stay has been pleasant.
Great living environment and very convenient.
Management has changed and I see a few changes but these are my concerns: my 2018 SUV was under a covered spot and accidentally left unlocked. Someone stole the only valuable thing in it to them, a key hidden in the middle council that was hiding. They located that vehicle it belonged to that was a ways away, and stole my 2020 Truck (due to the lack of parking). Grant it, it was definitely a life lesson on our families end but never had we seen this happen in this area or felt unsafe until this. With change of management and Covid-19, I can only assume, we have seen an influx of neighbor changes and people suspiciously driving around property. This easy access location used to be a hub for stolen vehicles when first built but crime in the area seemed to had lesson previous this change. The maintenance department is always hard working and I must say in the first year I was here they were less attentive! So kudos for all there 2020-2021 changes in team attitude and hard work!As for property, I am still waiting for more social interactions, a Christmas light compition, a consistently clean bbq pit, a community garage sale, a family outdoor movie with social distancing, upgraded park area, the ability to use the suana, movie room, gym use again after hours & billards room (just put a lock on the office part of the doors, Even if we have to rent it out, this was even before covid). We litterally pay as much as a mortgage on a home here, so please step up a community outreach for us. This would lesson crime, I am sure of it.Last but definitely not least, why is there never enough parking, there is literally grass near building 8 and 9, why not get a permit and add more spaces to make everyone happy. Oh and clean our stairways and sidewalks, its time to stay clean.
The worst management ever! They don’t cate you stay or leave!
Kudos to Debbie and her wonderful personality. She was so very informative when my daughter and I came to visit looking for an apartment for my daughter. That was a Saturday and we visited multiple locations before deciding to pick Park Ave. Sunday we went back to see Debbie and pick an apartment. While she juggled multiple people in the office, Debbie treated each one with the same jovial helpful attitude. If this place lives up to all that we have been told, my daughter will be very happy here. Ill return down the road to update on the status after some time has passed.
I lived in these apartments for almost 3 years. Overall, they were clean, well maintained and safe. Many rules to follow, but thats what helped maintain the apartments staying nice, so no complaints from me there. The trash does get overloaded, and that created a possum and raccoon fest in the evenings when trash was spilling out of the dumpster. Parking can be an issue, but I purchased a covered spot, and felt it was worth the money. I paid my rent on time every month, kept a very clean home, and had great neighbors while I was a resident, so no actual problems for me, not to mention it was an ideal location at the time.As far as the leasing agents go, they were always polite to me, but I did have instances of having to constantly be on them for certain issues. I.e. My apartment once had flooding from an upstairs neighbor- I complained multiple times that the problem wasnt fixed, and had to push hard to get it taken care of. I was appeased at the time, by getting a small amount of my rent discounted for that month, and I was fine with that.I have zero complaints about maintenance. They were always fast, polite when I encountered him, and took care of what I requested.Ive now moved out, and Im dealing with an unfortunate situation; not having received my deposit check back after 43 days. Ive now spoken with the leasing office 2 separate times, with 3 different people. Ive been told different things by each one of them. I finally got through to Roscoe Property Management, explained to them what was going on, and was just informed that they didnt understand why I wasnt being taken care of by the leasing agents, since they work for them. Awaiting phone calls at the moment to plot my next move legally. While I had no real problems while living here, I can definitely see why theres so many complaints regarding the office staff. While I had some very positive encounters with certain staff members, I also always was left feeling like I was a bother, to others. Its hard to say if they are poorly trained, or simply lack in customer service/people skills, but either way they can be frustrating to deal with, which makes for a poor environment.
I wanted to give a shout out of approval regarding office staff especially Gina & Debbie who work to provide good service.I am grateful for their labor of endeavor on behalf of all who reside at boulder creek. As a leader I know all to well that not all will be pleased but press on to make a great experience, as the management of Park Avenue also does. Thanks for pressing on.............
Extremely clean and peaceful.
From the very first time I visited this location Debbie was so friendly, inviting, informative, and polite. One of the best experience I have had apartment searching! The process was very easy as Debbie made sure that she gave me the correct information for a stress-free and smooth process. She showed me all the different apartments I had asked to see without even being bothered by it. I can tell she loves what she does. She showed great dedication to her job. Thank you for being so straight forward and professional Debbie! You Rock!
Lived in these apartments for 12 months. Parking is fairly tight but I always found a place. The units are in good condition. Trash is a problem, people are too lazy to take their trash all the way to the dumpster so they throw on the ground and the raccoons tear it apart. The owner should consider using a valet trash service. Dont count on getting your deposit back. I left the apartment spotless but they charged $30 to clean the oven.
Very rude people. Gina and Debbie are the rudest people imaginable. So very unprofessional. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was hung up on. Won’t rent there if having to deal with that type of rude and unprofessional behavior . How hard is it to be nice. These two need to be moved from the public involvement or need to have civility training.
I’m speaking from my personal experience. I went in to get pricing on a one bedroom apartment and a week later I signed my lease! Debbie Bennett was great from start to finish! She gave me pricing, walked me over and gave me a walk thru of a unit, showed me around the property, and we even talked about our love of horses! Honestly, she is very direct and straight forward. So I guess that’s why some people have the negative to say in other reviews. But I can appreciate it! Why talk to someone that’s gonna BS you or sugar coat things. We are adults! But nevertheless she was friendly and personable with me and Her attitude is awesome! I got my apartment at a great price with free movers. My Point is, go in and see for yourself!! Debbie Bennett is great. Lease with her!!
Ms. Debbie was the best.. thank you so much.. this was our first time leasing an apartment and we didn’t know what to expect but Ms. Debbie took her time and explained as well showed us several apartments she helped us through the whole application process and was always ready and willing to assist.. no regrets about decision to join this family, very clean and well maintained.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! EXTREMELY TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! RUDE, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS AT ALL. AND ONCE YOU MOVE OUT THEY TRY TO TAKE EVERY PENNY THEY CAN. The only good thing I have to say is about Mrs.Debbie she is a very kind lady. But I would not suggest anyone to move here unless you want to have a management change constantly with no notice and just rude uncaring people to report to. If I could give 0 starts I absolutely would.
The worst customer service ever, every single individual that works the front office has a horrible attitude. I had read some of the bad reviews in regards to their customer service and yes I agree! I’m glad I didn’t rent there. To think that I will have to deal with that if I had chosen to live there? Heck no! I’ll pass.
I have read the other reviews and have never experienced any problems with the management team since my move in May 2017. They have been extremely helpful and kind to me, they have great deals I won free movers to help me move in to my apartment on the 3rd floor that was super awesome. The times I have reported a work order it gets done accordingly. No issues with bugs or pest at all. I love the location and amenities are fantastic. Love it here I have no complains I love my apartment. I am looking forward on renewing lease soon. Deisy De Leon & Darwin Moreno:)
I do not live here, but I have to say I had the most ridiculous experience. I stopped in and was treated horribly in the office. I walked in and asked for pricing. She didnt even look at me. Then finally when she did was so rude, refused to answer my questions... she proceeded to ask me about 5 minutes worth of questions about myself. I asked about 4 times for the price and she kept ignoring me. I finally said, This is just too much and walked away. She sarcastically said, Have a great day!. Ugh. So beyond rude.
When my husband and I decided to look at these apartments, we met Ms. Debbie in the leasing office. She took the time to take us to the 3rd floor to look at a floor plan and we fell in love. I cannot express how thankful I am to have Ms. Debbie on my side. She took the time to speak with me and my husband and reassured us of the process and what steps she was going to take before we spent $$ on applying. We will be moving in June 2019. Im so excited and cant thank Ms. Debbie enough. Other apartments we viewed did not have the personal touch (most of them were under New Management) that Ms. Debbie gave us. Shes worked here for many years and has a winning personality that tells us that we made the right decision to call Park Avenue our home.
I love living here. Ive made some great friends here! The maintenance guy Sam is awesome too! If something needs to be fixed, it is done very quickly.
Just renewed our lease and Gina made the process smooth. She explained all details in a clear concise manner and answered all our questions with patience and understanding. Looking forward to another great year with friendly and professional office staff, and courteous, top notch maintenance and grounds crew. Thank you, Gina!
I DONT RECOMMEND NO ONE MOVE HERE!!!!!!! I REPEAT DONT MOVE TO THESE APARTMENTS!!!! THEYRE FLEE INFESTED AND THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE I ONLY BEEN HERE 4MONTHS AND EVERYTIME I HAVE A PROBLEM THE STAFF HAVE A ATTITUDE AND VERY RUDE!!! ONE PERSON IN PARTICULAR IS THE ASSISTANT MANAGER GINA! I HAD A ISSUE WITH THE COMPUTERS AND WHEN I ASKED HER TO ASSIST ME SHE REFUSED TO!!!! SHE IS VERY RUDE!!!!! ITS NOT WORTH MOVING HERE!!!!!
I’m currently living here and there’s a weed problem in my building. I hate coming home from an exhausting day at work to realize that as soon as I walk into my apartment it smells like weed. No I don’t smoke. My “home” supposed to smell clean, not like a trap house. I have talked to the ladies up front and they pretty much told me to figure out who it is, which that’s not my job. Do we need to bring our department’s k9 to do the job for you? Since this is supposed to be a nice area, where drug usage is not acceptable? And the pet owners that don’t even bother cleaning after their pets... there’s literally poop in every entrence of the building.
Wow, had to change my review after today. The office wanted me to pay $100 bucks because a friend with a dog came to visit for a few hours. I told them no way and gave them my 60 days notice. Nice place to stay but its like they are looking for ways to be petty and disruptive--the opposite of any kind of customer service. Imagine the emotionally scared villains in movies trying to take over the world because someone wasnt nice to them once--thats Cheryl the manager...kind of like a bullied introvert kid growing up and becoming a cop. Just waiting to stick it to someone who looks marginally happy...oh well, I am so glad I have the option of leaving and not allowing that kind of treatment to be ok on any level.UPDATE: The cars in the complex parking are fine after Harvey no water damage to any cars or apartments! Near the end of the storm, the water got close to breaching little cars like Corollas but when it was over, all was ok! I just thought this would be something people might want to know.Debbie was very helpful from the outset. Moved in three days from first walk through. They do want income and rental history, etc. Fairly expensive compared to nearby properties, but the grounds are better kept and the saltwater pool as well as the better insulated units and quality of neighbors make up for the price difference compared to Windmill Lakes units, for example. So far, so good. Very doable place to hang ones hat for a while.
My name is Dev, and I recently applied and got approved for one of these apartments. I’m very excited and very thankful for meeting Ms. Debbie.
Spiders and snakes! I have seen 3 snakes over the past year, the largest was approximately 4 1/2 feet long. I called to report it to the apartments but no one came to help. I had to call the police to kill it because unsuspecting tenants and children were walking past. I have never had any issues with other tenants. I always paid my rent several days early but found a slip in my door stating that I had 72 hours to pay a balance of .38 cents.Ms. Debbie, in the office, was always very helpful and personable. Gina had the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. She was not helpful and implied threats about rejecting future packages for me. I would not recommend anyone to live here until they fix the superior attitudes of some of the office personnel.
I wouldnt even give this review a one star. TERRIBLE customer service all the way around, we thought it was just the leasing agent we dealt with but no. There was not one step that they didnt screw up on. We were supposed to have movers for 2 hours to help us with moving to the top floor, Tyrone forgot to put the order in and left us with no movers. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS, is just an understatement of the intelligence of the front office. Do not waste your time, it is not worth the trouble unless you want to do their job for them and let them take your money for it.
2/13/18If it was an option to give this residency negative stars best believe I would be doing it. MULTIPLE break inns (no cameras anywhere except the gate, which is never working) and the staff/front office has no empathy at all. Very unprofessional and if you ask me it’s overpriced for the environment you’re getting. Even as a last resort I wouldn’t move back here, I would park myself right under I10.
GHETTOWas great when it opened but before the year was out move-in specials brought in crime. Lots of recently released convicts not on the lease but living with their girlfriends. And it wasnt uncommon to see police arresting gangs of eight or more thieves who were stealing from cars or kicking in front doors.RUDEIts not personal, the front office hates everyone equally. But if you are old and white and not covered in tattoos you can expect them to be especially hateful. And dont ever have the gall to interrupt their game of Solitaire to look for your package that was delivered a week ago but no one can find it.NASTYI liked their small little gym until I saw residents spitting on the floor. Nobody ever shampoos the carpet so the floor is on par with what you find at a dollar cinema.NICE FLOOR PLANSbut you may find you are allergic to the cheap Chinese sheetrock in the walls.PARKINGIf you want to be able to arrive home and park youll need to pay for a garage, if one is available. Your reserved covered spots will always have someone else parked in them. I confronted a gentleman who parked in my spot one day and after a conversation we found that the front office had rented the same spot to both of us. We went to the front office and all they said was whoops. And I was told I was the one stuck out because I already had a garage for my other vehicle. So in conclusion, if your looking for a craptastic place to live youve come to the right place. This is my experience, your mileage may vary.
Great place has a good gym nice pool!
Debbie was great throughout the whole experience. Helpful and Nice
I only gave them a one star because I had no choice if I wanted to post. All the previous reviews are RIGHT!!!!!Do not waste your time moving into these apartments. I had never had a problem moving into an apartment until this time. They are all about TAKING YOUR MONEY !!!!At first they are nice BUT ONCE THE LEASE IS SIGNED YOU ARE A PIECE OF CRAP. Debbie is a mean person. Chrissy takes her time like you do not exist and customer service is horrible. My overall experience is extremely NEGATIVE, and I did not even get a chance to move into the apartment!!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE AT ALL!!!!
Gina in the office is the absolute worst person in customer service. That being said...it trickles down. This is not her calling. She treats everyone like a crook and isnt understanding or personable at all. Parking sucks. Trash is a joke...to put it mildly. The off duty police officer harasses guests and occupants at the gate instead of watching the grounds. Nothing works in the gym. There are bugs everywhere. And my personal information was given to my neighbors, which they so kindly returned and felt very bad about opening even though it wasnt their fault. When I spoke to Gina about it she adamantly denied it even after receiving a picture and requesting that she speak with my neighbors regarding the incident since she clearly was calling me a liar. She asked me to drop the evidence in the drop box as if I am not smart enough to keep the evidence of her wrong doing. Please please please take these reviews seriously...nothing but the truth here. I do not know how these ppl are still employed. Customer service is clearly a lost art at Park Avenue luxury apartment homes
No issues the whole time my family lived there. Service requests were handled on time, utility bills were low, we felt safe at all times. I really dont understand why this place doesnt have a higher rating.
My husband and I moved in Sept. 2012. It was not a pleasant experience! Bugs were horrible. Constantly finding silver fish in the closets, beetles all under the bed and on the window sills and tons of spiders. Parking was ALWAYS a nightmare. If you got home after 7 pm, forget parking anywhere close to your building. The management sucked! It was like pulling teeth to get a gate remote that ever worked. Trash was always surrounding the ONE, yes ONE, dumpster! Once my husband and I found out we were expecting, we knew we HAD to get out of there immediately! When we moved the bed, there were hundreds of black beetles dead under the bed. I am a VERY clean person and was disgusted at what I saw. I took lots of pictures. There was never a quiet time and i have a job where I would have to go to sleep at 7pm to wake up at 3 am and there was always loud music at all hours of the night. I wouldnt recommend anyone to move here. For the cost of rent, you can pay a mortgage!
Was planning on moving in these apartments cause I had bible study friends that lived here a few years ago and the Apts seemed very nice. But then we met the management. It was like we werent good enough for them to live there. They were asking for stuff that seemed very unnecessary for an apartment. Like w2s and THE LAST SIX months of check stubs. Noone has ever asked for that many months of check stubbs or w2s. Its not a house were buying here. And we asked 3 times to see the demo apartment but she wouldnt take us. So whatever. If you want luxury apartments theres way better out there for roughly the same price and its much more worth it than this place. Management needs to get it together.
The worst customer service Ive received in my life. Due to my work I have lived in several different places in the last 10 years. The company I work for pay for me anywhere I choose and this has given me the opportunity to compare.Ok this is what happens, since I moved I have had several problems in my apartment and every time I need maintenance they take a long time to come but I have to realize that the man and woman who come are very good and polite, they make good I work, but only two people for the whole place is not enough especially when you remember the cost of my rent. The plans of the place are nice and I have no complaints about that. But the people who work in the offices are depressing. They never have good attitude with the residents they seem to hate us, Gina Mota, Selly Porter, Debbie Bennett and another lady named Cyntia. This last one did not want to say her last name because she did not know who I am (Wird not you think?) and the woman who is in the first office on the left side is always texting also when she is driving the golf cart for the property you can see her texting and never but never look up to say (good morning how can I help you) in reality they are all too rude and ill-mannered to work in customer service. There are a couple of other problems that I have had with these people in the office but I could not tell everything because it would be very long, but one of the problems that most displeased was the fact of having had a weekend visit with my uncles They live in Colorado and I wanted to be honest and I went to talk to someone in the office to tell them that my aunt would be in the pool some time (again Cyntia) (It was a big mistake) the office charged me between $ 65 to $ 70 dollars For each person and also received several calls for the same ( I had to do everything possible to dicimulate so my aunt would not realize why they called me so much because it would be very uncomfortable ), I thought it was ridiculous but I agreed to pay without protest, besides they asked me several times if I had a pet in my apartment because I had to pay $ 250 more. I tell her I did not have a pet only were two people, she doubted me and called me back an hour later to be sure and also talking to me very rude, seriously I do not know who gives these people job, I would let them all go and bring new staff. And to finish it, in a short time I have to renew the contract and after the bad treatment that they have given me for a whole year I have sent a letter to offer the cost of my new rent, definitely someone is crazy in this place, I am currently paying $ 1470 and They increased more than $ 300 a month for another year, no intelligent person would renew in these conditions, therefore I told them that Im going faster as possible before the end of the contract and Ill be somewhere else.My most sincere advice is that you do not come to live in this place, you can find better place with excellent customer service and luxury facilities for the same price.
I would recommend this complex due to its convenient location, especially if one works near Hobby Airport. Read on for more details.PRICE: The prices seem a bit high, most likely due to the luxury reference on the sign. I would not consider this complex luxurious, by any means, but it is a nice place to call home.PARKING: Be prepared to rent a carport/garage if you want a guaranteed parking spot, especially if you return home later than most.TRASH: There is only one trash compactor for the entire complex so garbage tends to overflow frequently. This problem could be avoided if the button operated properly and if residents took the time to ensure their trash bag makes it down the chute.MAINT: When maintenance has been needed, service requests have always been completed within 24-48 hours, if not the same day. No big issues in the 2+ years that we have lived here - lightbulbs, blinds, air filters, etc.STAFF: We have not had any issues with the office staff. The leasing agents seem to turnover frequently. Ms. Gina and Ms. Debbie have been the most helpful if you need anything resolved. Interaction with the office is minimal if you pay your rent online and dont receive many packages. They are strict on the requirements/rules, but Im sure they are merely abiding by their corporate office guidelines.SNAKES: Snake sightings are not unheard of and the complex does their best to manage them. We have only seen two snakes in over two years of living here, and they have been near the wooded areas.RESIDENTS: We have not had any noise complaints. Neighbors can be heard from time to time but it is not excessive and is to be expected in an apartment setting. Many cultures are represented in the complex and friendly interactions occur in passing daily. Many friends have been made here.Hopefully this review has been helpful for prospective residents!
The apartment complex is very modern and polished. Grounds are well kept, for the most part.Very convenient to the highwayOverall, quiet community with nice neighborsConsThe manager, Gina, has a lot to do from a customer service standpoint. Her staff members are poorly trained, lack basic customer service skills, and are unable to complete leasing agreement without assistance. Most questions, go unanswered. Phone calls do not get returned. If they want or need something from you, they call several times. If you need something from them, it is almost like they go into hiding. Do not expect to see Gina, until you are irate…and by then she will look at you with disdain. Almost like you are wasting her time. She lived on the bottom floor of my building, and walked past me over 100 times while I lived here. Never once did she say hello or acknowledge I existed.Staff is not trained well. When we were leasing, there were problems with paperwork during our first month. Lost paperwork is the norm, and items not given to us to sign were asked about well into our lease. When you go into the office, you are lucky if you are acknowledged, especially if the staff is engaged in meaningless conversation. Staff members are not trained on how to handle the leasing process from beginning to end so you run into A TON of misinformation. When these issues are brought to the manager’s attention, her attitude is tough luck. Or “I doubt my team would give you false information.”The gym is broken. They have dumbbells that are stripped and cannot be tightened. What this means is that if you are unknowing, the weights will fall off the bar. No matter how many times I took the dumbbells and set them off to the side, the staff would place it back on the rack without fixing it. Also, NONE of the machines work. The TV’s also lose signal the majority of the time.Constant break-ins. Seemed like every month we were getting notified of assaults, robberies, and break-ins. The gate is there only for show. Instead of having a bar, and gate two part system….the gate just opens and remains open for everyone to come in as they please. Leading to…you guessed it! Assaults. I cannot tell you how many times I went through the gate and had 5 or 6 people trail me in.Parking is terrible. Since we have so many unwanted guest in the complex be prepared to park at the front of the complex if you get off past 7:00 pm. This is not exaggeration…even with the residents using garages, there is not enough parking. One garbage dumpster. Be prepared to think you are living in a 3rd world country during most of the week. The garbage overflows from all the residents putting their garbage in the properties ONE dumpster…and so you have to line them up against the dumpster, or keep all your trash on your back porch. They will gouge you for every cent they can. Every single penny. No matter how well you clean the place up they will find something wrong with it. Be prepared to give back your deposit and more. This place is literally a pile of crap, with a bright red cherry on top. Here is what I mean. When I moved here they have a leasing agent by the name of Tyrone. He was a good kid, and was very nice. He did make mistakes, but I truly believe he was not trained by Gina. She is too busy sitting in her office twiddling her thumbs. He sold me on the place, based on his personality. About 6 months later he left and with him left the last bit of natural intelligence in that office. He went on to become part of the management staff at a competing complex. The staff are all smiles until they get your deposit and you sign, after that you are nothing but a number. I am currently working with the BBB, Attorney General, and the real estate company who owns the complex on issues with Gina and Co. This is meant to be a warning to anyone potentially thinking of moving here. You will be sorry if you do. I am former military, and have moved around a leased quite a bit…this was the worst experience I ever had.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! FRONT OFFICE STAFF IS HORRID with NOOOOOO PERSONALITY WHATSOEVER.THEY TRY TO MILK ADDITIONAL FUNDS OUT OF TENANTS A YEAR AFTER YOU MOVE OUT.
I dont even know where to begin..... This place is horrible.... Terrible customer service.... Now that i read the other reviews, I could see why they try to get you to sign a 14-month lease.Anyway, I just want to say Im a respectable physician, who recently change jobs and was looking to find a place close to my job to rent, while I get to know the place, before buying a home.... I checked this place out because it was only 11mins from my job... but I left there feeling so small after these racist people treated me like a criminal..... Gave them my 3-most recent pay stubs, which Im positive equate to more than any of them make in a year....nonetheless, they told me I needed to provide them w/ tax returns for 2yrs plus last 4 stubs from my last job, or 6-months bank statements and the stubs from my current job... and refuse to take my physician contract as proof as income....First off, what the hell does my last job have to do w/ me renting an apartment if I just gave you 3 stubs from my current job and offer a copy of my contract w/ my annual salary... I wasnt aware that my former employers would be signing the checks to pay my rent going forward.Second, Im renting an apartment, not buying a house, so why do you need to go through my bank statements and tax papers. Complete, bullshit...... I hate to play the race card, but obviously these F-ers had some other agenda.....If you live in the 21st century and dont condone discrimination of any sort, this is not the place for you.... And I will be contacting the company headquarters to find out if thats the way they want their business run......
My review is based on the time I lived in these apartments from when they were first built until the end of 2012. I rented a 2x2. First occupants in the unit and stayed very close to the front of the complex.Pros: spacious! always got compliments on how big and nice our apartments were.Rent was decent at that time..although they raised the price of rent and came up with ridiculous water bills as time went on and more people moved in.Cons: PARKING IS HORRIBLE!! Prepare to be annoyed if you work late hours because you may even be parking in the nearby business center overnight if you arent lucky.SPIDERS SILVERFISH & BEES OH MY! never encounted mice or roaches as some of these other comments revealed, however, the apartments were brand spanking new when I first moved in.The water in the master bedroom in my unit never got hot enough and they always claimed they fixed it but never did.MANAGEMENT is wack and the computers and fitness room sucks.Other than that, I actually kinda enjoyed living there.
Horrible experience living there, the management is horrible and apartments keep getting broken into there including my own at the time. And when a neighbor tried to call to notify the office about the burglary in progress no one answered the phone so she went down to the office and they refused to unlock the main office doors cause they were on lunch break....so the burglars got away after breaking into the unit next to mine as well.
If you have second thoughts about moving here and youre trying read reviews about this place, just dont bother moving in at all.I first moved here because of its location and its convenience to my job. Like Kent, I was sold on Tyrones personality. I loved the units because of the kitchen island and the spacious rooms. Overtime, those were the only thing I could say that makes this place worth it. Tyrone said that I would be notified of the lease increase in price at least 60 days before my lease was ending and Im sure he would have seen through to that had he lasted that long after I moved in. However, this place has a at least 60 days notification to the office that youre moving out. I called the office realizing I wanted to move out 30 days (which is the norm) and basically received an answer along the lines of 60 days. Theres nothing I can do for you. That is fine. So I called the corporate office who has the higher sayings to them. If Gina doesnt give you much attention, this will make her bend over backwards. I expressed to the LMK company how disappointed and resent to my decision I made by choosing this place and the other person gurantees me I would have a better alternative. Although I still had a 60 days notice, but theyre willing to push back a couple days so I can move out by the end of August. Needless to say, that isnt the best solution, but it was the solution without breaching my contract. Now, if anything, theyre inspired by Adele. They come uninvited and unannounced. If they do come with a notice, it would be 1 or 2 days prioir to their actually visit. I have an alarm system so all my 3 wolf cries was from them. I already told them time and time again on all my maintainence notice of their own special code when coming in which they fail to look or input into their system.Staffing is not correctly trained and never professional. Im always greeted by you want a what....a-who...what chu say...you get the idea. The other one will call you baby and sweetie. I dont mind those nicknames if I were to know you or close to an acquaintance. I am niether so I dont need to hear those words coming from a professional leasing agent. The trashcan compactor. The tenants here are lazy and does not want to touch the handle to open the door of the chaute so they leave their trash on the floor around the trash can. Its likes a shrine for the compactor.Parking is horrendous with the miscellaneous people coming in and out. Even though theres plenty of parking at the bar, they certainly prefer the complex.Towards the end of my lease, I started to smell weed in my bathroom vent. I had a come to Jesus moment that I was doing the right thing by getting the heck out of there.BEWARE.
Loved touring here!
Dont live here. Find another place. Ive been here for the past 3 years and they still treat me as if Im an unwelcomed guest in their home. Management is horrible and not willing to help no matter if its just a simple question that you need answered. Pests everywhere. Had mice in my apt on the 3rd floor! Called 3 times for pest control ended up taking care of it myself. No parking after 9pm. Once you sign the lease you can bet staff will not care or remember who you are.
I will start by saying that the apartments on the inside are very nice. The layout is open, with a island kitchen. That is all thats good about this apartment complex, so unless you never plan on communicating with the leasing agents (which you will at least once), you will be fine. My major complaint is about the unprofessional and dismissive attitude of the leasing agents. I have had unpleasant experiences especially with Gina and Debbie. Here are some of my unpleasant experiences:1. At the time of leasing the apartment, Debbie was not willing to show me more than one apartment because it was getting close to the leasing office closing time, even though I had been waiting for 30 or more mins to be assisted. She just handed me the keys to the apartment to go see for myself, and was a derogatory towards me while talking. I guess she thought I could not afford to rent the apartment, and threatened me that if I cannot make the deposit on time, I can just let her know because she cant proceed. I felt harassed the whole time I dealt with her.2. Their online rent payment system is flawed. If you are wanting to set up recurring payment, there is no way to set up a recurring payment for an amount that includes utilities; therefore, every other month I came back home to a late payment message stuck to my front door. I expect they would have called me to ask me about it but they never did. I discussed this issue with them, and they still kept sending me later payment messages.3. I understand that under normal circumstances, it is a violation of my lease contract to bring a pet inside my apartment when I have not paid a pet deposit; however, I believe that exceptions to rules can always be made if the reason for the exception is legitimate. During hurricane Harvey, a time during which people opened their houses for strangers, I provided shelter to a friend’s dog for a day only; this friend was trying to evacuate her apartment complex since it was flooded. This is one of those times when I believe an exception can be made, and I expected the leasing office to reach out to you to make a case for this exception. Unfortunately, I had forgotten that it’s pointless to raise my expectations of leasing offices, and as I expected, I received a notice of lease violation, asking me to pay the fine.4. The month-to-month rate that I was provided when I signed my current lease was $1458/month. However, post Harvey, a new lease renewal notice established a rate that is 2.5 times ($3631/month) higher than what was originally promised. Again, I tried to understand the reason behind this increase, but I was told that since there is a high demand, the rate has increased. I believe that this is a prime example of price gouging that aims to take advantage of people that have been displaced by the hurricane and are seeking temporary accommodations. I have submitted a complaint to the Texas Attorney General to investigate potential price gouging since I was not satisfied by the answer provided by Gina.5. Parking is a big issue in the complex. Most of the parking spot are covered areas so they can charge extra for parking, and if you dont have one of these spots and you come late at night, forget about finding parking inside the complex. Most of the covered spots are not even rented out. Debbie was quick to point out that I should get a covered spot if I dont want to park my car outside the complex.6. The complex parking lot was flooded during Harvey. People had to park their cars on the grass to avoid water ingress in the cars.I have reached out to the property management company about some of these complaints but have not received a response back. I firmly believe that if the leasing office maintains its current course, it will end up losing customers in the future.
My experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. Tyrone in the office didnt have people skills. We had a fire at my house. Needed to stay a couple of months tell house was done. Isurance was paying for it. Why did they need so much stuff. Then we get in the apt. There are spiders and ants. Then the floor was making noises when we walked on it. Like it was an old house. The neighbor downstairs banged on the walls as if we were trying to make noises. Very rude neighbors. Then the parking. God the parking at night was very terrible. Please please stay away.
Crime & drug infested. Exterminator had my key after hours and tried to enter my apt., luckily my deadbolt was locked. I called the police and the onsite officer told me that build 12 is always broken into & a lady had been followed into her apt. and pistol whipped in front of her child. The management sucks!!!
People smoke marijuana and the smell permeates the entire building management refuses to do anything about it
Believe every review you read here. I wish I had. They are crooks
There is not even enough parking for the people who live here so lets hope you dont plan to have company over
The staff is completely rude
Please believe these reviews. They have the worst management! They will screw you if they see the chance.
Never again
I have been here for a year and a half and havent had any complaints. Communication when the pool is being cleaned, letters on your door to notify you of something, and events such as taco trucks coming by etc. is always excellent.
Everything was good love this apartment
Debbie was very helpful and patient during leasing process. Property is always clean thanks to young black kid that works close to my building, along with maintenance team. What I like the most is the peace and quite around the property no matter the time of day it is. I like that the management and office leasing agent are friendly but strict with the rules. I really like the pool and gym area, always clean.
Best place to live in with all those friendly and supportive staff around you.You dont have to worry about anything while living there as they got yout back and working hard to make your living easy.Highly Satisfied***
My partner and I are moving in to this apartment and had a bit of difficulty, on our end, with the process. Laticia has been so amazing during our application process. She has really helped us through all the steps and been extraordinarily patient with us through all of our questions and concerns. We are so excited to move in and have no doubt that we will receive amazing service from the staff as residents as we have already had such exceptional service as applicants.
Excellent condo! Recommended
They are racist, I am Venezuelan I was looking for apt urgently why I am 7 months pregnant and I wanted stability urgently. And I asked them if they could rent me with my visa and they said yes. After I paid, they did not return the money they ask for. So they say if they rent with a passport if it is not like that. They refused to rent a pregnant woman. They are people without a heart. I am here in this country out of necessity, not why I want to why I love my Venezuela. They deal with pouting and lack much education and humility. Just because you still do not have a social security. They should say no from the beginning. They do not know how to serve people with love. Everyone has a bad temper and a bad face. Put professional people who have courses with personal growth. And how to treat the public are scarce real estate knowledge. They are discrediting the condominium. Enough and enough with all the comments. All those who live there pay their rent and nobody is of lismosna.
