This was a first time experience here at V Spot for me and WOW! I had a gel manicure and it was the best one I have ever had. It’s hard to find a good place to get a nice clean look and actually takes there time. I highly recommend going here for a gel manicure and you will not be disappointed! Everyone was very nice. It’s an interesting, low key nail spa, not typical (i.e foot bath buckets, not pedicure massage chair & tubs). I liked how my nails were painted, though they were cut a little too short. My main issue is that my gel nail polish started to come up around the sides after one week, which was a total bummer.

What a great experience! The owner is so nice and welcoming. Everything from the music and ambiance to the service and prices was perfect.

The salon is very clean and has a nice ambiance. Doesn’t have too many chairs for mani/pedi so doesn’t get crowded - definitely a big plus and worth the higher price.

The atmosphere of the salon was so relaxing, the staff were so kind and not to mention - very talented! I really appreciated their organization around booking appointments because my technician did not have to rush and paid close attention to detail. By far the best manicure I’ve received in years. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great experience!

I had an amazing experience from this place. I got a meticulous pedicure and I was more than relaxed during a pedicure. My stylist was amazing. I can not wait to come back again fro another pedicure and manicure too. Definitely recommend!!

I’ve never had someone at a front desk be so incredibly rude to me. I would definitely not recommend anyone to this nail salon, because regardless of the actual manicure people shouldn’t treat people this way.

I have gone to V Spot for a year now and theres no better place! The staff is awesome, very friendly and personal. The place is very clean which is very important for me, they are very detailed oriented in their service and they always try to please you. I am very happy that this is now my nail place :)

This is my favorite nail salon in Hoboken. I bring all my girl friends here. We have champaign, laugh and relax while our nails are being tended too. My girl Rosario is the best. I always ask for her. Plus this play great music inside. It feels like a family.

To start, it was my first time here and I am from out of state. I am very particular about how I like my nails done and the atmosphere and V Spot met all of my expectations. Patty did my nails and they were done beautifully and she helped me pick out my color with such patients and kindness. My boy friend got a manicure and pedicure and he loved it. I dont know her name but she was great! I have found my nail salon home away from home and I cant wait to come back and see these ladies again.

Went here for the first time yesterday and got a gel mani and pedi package. Great service, clean, really nice owner. The nail techs did a great job, first time I didn’t finish a manicure and I didn’t have to go home and fix my bleeding cuticles or messed up polish myself. I’m so impressed! On top of that, I went to ask if my design could be slightly changed (my preference, not a mistake on their part) and the owner was kind enough to make time to do it. I’ll definitely come back.

V always makes the extra effort to ensure you’re comfortable, welcome, and she even tries to remember something about every person who walks in the door. Fair prices and excellent mani/pedis. I’d recommend making an appointment ahead of time since she highly respects others time and refuses to overbook and under deliver. Love this spot!

I went for a wax a few months ago. It was painful, but most waxes are. The last really took her time though and made sure I was happy with it before I left.

Please save yourself some grief and do not come here. I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 years old and I have never in my life been treated with such absolute disrespect by a salon owner in my life. I am a young professional but I have worked in customer service for ten years before nursing school.....anyway, I was out with my mom and sisters for a belated Christmas gift. There were four of us. My sister booked the appointments for all of us and she had made an appointment for two mani-pedis and two manicures. When we showed up, I asked her if I could do one of the specialty pedicures, she immediately with a flustered no......Without even trying to look at her schedule to accommodate the request. (there were two girls with their nails drying and one girl finishing up her manicure)......I looked at the price of $30 for a pedicure (its $18 in Queens--my sister lives here in NJ). And, I proceeded to say no, its ok..Ill just hang out with them. I dont need one that badly. And she says well you are going to be charged for it anyway and I said oh, I didnt know that, well then how much longer is the specialty pedicure? She says 15 minutes and I said ok, well then why cant I have a specialty one if its only fifteen more minutes?. She said no that she had other appointments. But, what Id didnt get was that my original appointment was for a hour slot so thats longer than the service I was changing it to.....I continued to say that I didnt understand the issue and all it did was make her mad at me. She was passive aggressive in the way she was speaking to me and all it did was aggrevate myself and the situation. I was honestly appalled at how she handled this whole situation. When you work in customer service you try to accommodate your customers and what I was asking for was not only a more expensive service but it took up the same time as the original manicure pedicure that was scheduled. She should have made it work when I asked the first time. I proceeded to say that I didnt understand the issue but she was adamant about her policy. My sister (the one that booked the appointment) came in from parking, she wasnt even late for the appointment. Two of us were scheduled for 4:30pm which we were early for and the second two were for 5pm. Even by the time we were done talking, it was all before 5pm.....she started talking to manager when she walked in but was immediately aggressive. And, without even me saying anything to my sister, my sister tried talking calmly to her and wanted to rectify the situation but, the owner would not let up or even attempt to accommodate. Her pride and policy meant more to her than her reviews. I thanked my sister for trying and I said its not worth it, we will just never come back here again! Cut to five minutes from then, she takes a walk in!!! LOL what happened to all her appointments and not being able to accommodate my specialty pedicure!!??? Mind blown.

The WORST experience of my life. Im an extremely polite professional that just wanted a mani/pedi before leaving for my honeymoon. The owner was so incredibly rude I had to leave the spa in tears and so embarrassed at the racist behavior she exhibited towards me. I had to leave without finishing my service. Please avoid this place if you dont want it to ruin your day! Many other much nicer places in the area like Zeni nails and Soho Nails! Save yourself the hurt and humiliation. :)

Let me start with saying, I am person who is highly reliant on reviews when booking services-especially nail services. I booked an appointment for a mani/pedi based on the overall average reviews on The V Spot Nail Salon, even though there were multiple reviews stating this establishment was offensive and lacked professionalism. I was running late in traffic and after 15min texted/called the owner to inform her that I was on the way. I specifically asked if the nail tech had enough to time before closing to do my nails, she said that they would hold the appointment. I showed up for my appointment and then I was then was belittled and disrespected in front of the other customers when the owner informed me that she gave away my time slot (even though she confirmed on the phone that she would hold it) and started to yell at me for being late! I still cant believe her offensive attitude that she showed me. Please do yourself a favor and stay clear from this place.

I saw her handle an accident with class and calmness-things happen and she was right there to fix it up! It’s super cute and cozy perfect for that cozy Hoboken vibe getaway you want when treating yourself. Highly recommend you make this a regular staple in your beauty routine🙌💕
