I went to a party last night and the food was incredibly sour (meaning it smelled old ) apparently nobody ate the food . I am in the event industry and trust me the food is can made food . I am not surprise especially for half of the Hialeah banquet halls and people who reserve them are okay for the can vegetables and unfresh meat . I am pretty sure that most of the reviews come from the owners staff and family . The space is nice but parking is unbelievable ! The food was reported to the wait staff but of course nothing wasnt done . Its pretty embarrassing even the handling of the food was incorrect . As soon as the food went in front of you, you can automatically smell it .... never again . I understand most people cant afford to have a nice party but I suggest rent a. Community center, get a catering team (professional chef) and diy in decoration or hire a planner . But this was uncalled for . The bartenders were nice and know what they doing . Food is the major part of what guest pay for . Why is it okay to serve what you serve

Ive unfortunately had to come here more than once. There is no parking area, 2/4 times Ive been the elevator did not work, and when it did it moves slow. The food is always cold, and they dont have enough plate covers. Seriously! They place the cold, flavorless food to half the people, while the rest wait, then they come back out with the other half. The staff always looks miserable and serve the food without gloves. Sounds normal I guess, but not when they run their hands thru their hair, or mess with their nose right before. Gross. There are only 2, bathrooms, and the kitchen is near the only visible exit. Hopefully there is another exit somewhere.Im sure someone is doing their job because this place is still open and I keep having to return to this place. Ugh.Oh! And dont ask anyone for salt or ketchup or mayo. The Chef gets mad if you say it has no flavor and is dry. The Chef literally told me we have no salt. My reply, I believe you, because neither does the food.

Had an event there on July 12th. The place was nicely decorated and with the open bar i had no complaints. But the Natasha (owner) the dj and the food all were horrible. My guests had to write down on a piece of paper at the event the songs we wanted to hear. The dj was called before the event and sent music on his phone to play. He was asked several times to play the music that we previously discussed he was nonchalant about the matter spoke to Natasha and we had to write songs on a piece of paper which should have been done previously and explained to me if that’s their protocol. All my guests hated the steak to the point where one of my guests actually took some of the other guests and her’s home to feed her dog which I don’t think was even fit for a dog you couldn’t even cut it. I went out of town after my the event the next morming, When i returned i called and spoke with Natasha’s unprofessional self. She laughed and said “the meat was good even i tasted it and thats something i never do” if you never taste the food the reason you did is because all my guests hated it and sent it back uneaten. I asked all my guests at the event that night and everyone of one of them hated it. Natasha laughed and said “its notmy fault if your guests didnt dance”. As soon as one of my guests literally gave the sorry dj one of his personal playlists everyone danced all night. She must have thought i wanted money back she kept saying “what do you want me to do the dj is not gonna work here any more”? I don’t care what he did before or after my event all that mattered to me is what youre sorry dj did at my event! A lesson to you Natasha and your Imperial Hall. Learn to be professional and to apologize when someone at your Hall did not get the service they paid for. In business everyone may not be happy or like your nasty food just because you liked it. I could not tell you what it tasted like because i heard everyone else complain and watched them struggling to cut it and the bitter taste they say it had do I refused to eat one bite of it. So i got off easy You asked me “why i didnt say anything at the time”what we’re you gonna do cook us another meal that night? The embarrassment was already done from the beginning. You seen all that food that mo one ate that you took off the tables. Your attitude is very RUDE and it changed after you got paid. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IMPERIAL BANQUET HALL TO ANYONE PERIOD! LEARN HOW TO BE A BUSINESS WOMAN NATASHA I NEVER AKED YOU FOR A DIME BACK NOT ONCE! A SIMPLE APOLOGY WOULD HAVE BEEN SUFFICIENT! When someone has a complaint NATASHA don’t take it personal in my case accept it as the truth and learn from it!

Had my husbands 70 birthday party here I did my own decorations because she wanted to nickle and dime me for the table cloths I wanted this night to be special for my husband. before my final payment the owner Natosha seemed very helpful. On the evening of the event she acted unconcerned of the facts that their elevator wasnt working she suggested I should call Fire Rescue to get the walkers and wheelchairs guest up the stairs. guest was served watered down liquor and spoiled food that had set out for to long from the guy she contracts for her catering services and my guess got sick I immediately called her the next morning and she suggested that I should call Reuben her catering services and didnt want to be involved but my contract was with her Imperial Banquet Hall not him.she showed POOR customer Services skill as a business woman/Owner. I reached out to the Catering company with my complaint who was willing to refund me the $ 3.20 he charges her per plate but only for 62 guest when I contracted and was charged for 72 guest. I reached out to Imperial several times to handle this matter but she has POOR business practices and skills I am an Event planner as well and I know proper businesses etiquette and good customer serivce.Ernestine Woodard

I was the bride and let me tell you these people went above and beyond to please us and our guest. The food was amazing, we had congris, pork, and platanos maduros which I didnt have time to eat all of it and I really wanted to tear it up after I tasted it lol. The DJ kept us partying all night. The decorations were so beautiful.. I cant even express how perfect our day was because of Alejandro and Natasha

I celebrated my daughters party there. One thing I can say about this hall is that the decorations were pretty even thought they were not completely ready while my guests were still waiting outside.The bartender and waiters were friendly. On the other hand, the owners wife needs more customer services skills. At times whenever I asked for things she will acts as if she was not getting paid for the services and as if she was doing me a favor. There were other little technical issues during the party that I will not mention since the husband was fair enough to give me another 30 min for the inconvenience. He was more considerate than the wife .In addition, I do not recommend their photographer, he did such as horrible job. He enlarged the wrong picture for the banquet hall and got very upset when I told him that he picked the wrong picture. He had a nasty attitude and told me that he was not paying for it. I finally complained to the owner who also got upset telling me that I was undecided. The so called photographer charged me $100.00 for a CD in order to pick the pictures for the album since he refused to send me more pictures. As a customer, I believe if this guy is a professional photographer, even if I made the mistake he should have guide me about it but instead he was very rude. The pictures and videos were horrible. He did not guide anybody to pose. The pictures and videos look like as if they were taken by a 5 years old. I ended up asking him for another non edited video since he did not record the most important parts of the party. He still yet cut off a lot . He did a horrible and cheap job. If I knew I would have ask one of my friends or family to take pictures and videos. I am sure they would have done a better job. I believe this guy is a friend or family that they hired to make cheap and horrible quality job. In addition, I dont recommend the their MC. She was very unprofessional, she was very late for the rehearsal and instead of apologizing, she was being very sarcastic about that the owners like her thats why she can be late. Then she was rushing everybody out so she can go home. I felt like I wasted my $50.00 for the so called rehearsal because we hardly did anything. She did not follow my instructions on the of the party. She did whatever she wanted to do as if it was her party... I do not recommend these people ever again. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

I had my baby shower done here recently and the service was not the best. Pros: the food was tasty, the waitresses were attentive & kind, the basic decorations & open bar were great. However, a few seat covers were stained and ripped I had to ask a few times to change it. A chair was missing from one of the tables. The DJ took an hour and a half to play music due to technical difficulties and did not stick to the long playlist I gave him. the parking garage was locked, when it was supposed to be open & private. My guest were not able to park until I had a server attend to the problem in the middle of the party. The owners kept walking back & forth throughout the party fixing things. The trash from the womens bathroom was not thrown out from the previous night & there was no hand soap. The center piece flowers which were part of the big cost from renting this banquet hall, were cheap flowers I couldve purchased at Sedanos. The owners wife ignored many of my requests and did things her own way for MY party. She was very unprofessional & insincere whenever addressed with any questions or concerns. Her husband was more respectful. Last but not least, my guest and I were rushed out immediately once our time was up without giving us time to even pick up our bags. Everything couldve been handled properly. Not worth the price I paid for.

Pros:The owner was friendly, the limo was punctual, the photographer & videographer were in sync, the flowers were beautiful, the halls were stylishly decorated, the drinks were good, servers were professional and centerpieces were gorgeous.Cons:The DJ was late and had too many hiccups, the owner’s partner was easily defensive when approached with a concern.-----On New Year’s, Jan 1, 2017, my sister and her husband celebrated their wedding at Imperial Banquet Hall.Halls A & B were rented. Ownership accommodated our Bridal Party, including a pet Rottweiler and Labrador! Both halls exceeded my expectations! The decorations were on point. Our limo driver was punctual and personable. The drive was smooth and we arrived to the venue on time. Our photographer and videographer remained close thru/out the night without being invasive.My sister ordered 1 bottinere, 3 bouquets and 6 corsages. Conversely, we received 7 bottineres, 3 bouquets and 0 corsages. Nevertheless, the flowers were beautiful so we ignored the faux pas.As soon as we arrived we were ready to start. Unfortunately, our DJ was late. The Groom & Best Man made their entrance and stood by the altar w/out music. When the DJ came, he played the music intended for the Groom during the entrance of the Mother of the Bride. Fortunately, an usher corrected him in time, and the rest of ceremony went smoothly.At the Reception, we were supposed to enter to a line dance. In the middle of our dance, the music stopped and we stood there confused and now upset with the DJ. So the Groom hyped the crowd while we waited for the music to return.Later at the bar, I spoke with the owners about the night. I told them everything was beautiful apart from the DJ. I asked them what they intended to do about our dissatisfaction. The owner’s partner got defensive and argumentative. Fortunately, the owner stifled her, apologized and offered us additional 15 minutes for the time we lost. Grateful for his professionalism, I accepted and shook his hand.The servers were timely with the appetizers and entrees. The food was tasty and presentable. At some point during the night, a few of our guests instructed the DJ to played music not on the provided playlist. The Bride reprimanded the guests responsible and reaffirmed the DJ to stick with the playlist provided.At the cutting of the cake, we didn’t have a cake cutter present. Unbeknownst to us, someone took it upon themselves to scold the owner, which bothered him, understandingly so. He pulled me aside and shared his concerned. This time I was the one apologizing to him and I was ready to confront the person responsible, but the owner chose to remain professional and not escalate the matter. He explained the cake cutter is usually provided by the couple unless otherwise, mention (which, we didn’t know). From our conversation, I can tell he was genuinely concerned with our experience at Imperial; he seemed to really care. That left a very good impression on me! We shook hands and hugged it out and like magic, the rest of the night was perfect. He even made a special signature drink for the Bride—kudos points!-----Overall, if you want a beautiful ceremony or reception experience with a professional staff, I recommend Imperial Banquet Hall. Rest assured, you’ll be working with an accommodating and caring owner who is attentive to your overall experience. I do, however, recommend you bring your own DJ.

This Sunday, April 7, we had the pleasure of celebrating the baptism of our youngest child in this beautiful banquehall where I did not have to worry about anything at all just getting there with the whole family and I was radiant, beautiful more than I imagined, excellent service, very good food, music of our taste, no doubt to repeat. I love this place. I have been several times. The food and service is excellent, the bar very good, I have not seen such a bar in another Banquet Hall. The perfect music in every event that I participated and the owners have always seen them there ready to solve any problem that arises. They have very good parking too. I recommend it
