I’ve been going here to get my lashes done for years now!! everytime they come out great!

I have been going here since I was 13 years old & have had nails, toes, waxing (bikini & eyebrow), and full set acrylic nails done. Every time I have been here they have gone above & beyond with cleanliness, services and atmosphere. I ONLY get my nails done here. The ladies that work here are SO kind and great at what they do!

This place did an amazing job. I got a SNS take off, spa pedicure and gel manicure. The lady at the first station to the left did a beautiful job and gave the best foot massage, I almost dosed off. The bonus was the paraffin on my hands for the gel mani, which was appreciated after all the acetone soaking to get the SNS off. The shop was nice and quiet with no extended wait time which is a great change of pace in comparison to the hustle and bustle of the other nail salons in Reston. I will definitely be returning!

I’ve been a long time customer at VIPs and I always recommend them to friends in the area. The staff is very friendly, and they have taken covid safety measures very seriously. Go see Mai for any type of gel/acrylic/dip manicure. She’s the best 😊

They do not service customers well. If you need an appointment every time you come in there what is the point of advertising you take walk-ins? Every time I go to this salon they ask me if I have an appointment. Today I stopped in on my lunch break to repair a nail. I walked in and the young lady asked if I had an appointment. I told her no. She then looks at another lady with the appointment book in her hand and shook her head telling me, “I’m sorry, we are busy.” As I leave, they did not even ask of another time that might work for me or when they would not be busy. If they are this booked and busy they should not even open their doors and ONLY advertise that they take appointments only. However, I find that hard to believe when I saw two nail techs not servicing anyone. I am more than happy to spend my money somewhere else where customer service is valued.

Dirty, dirty. They re-use their paraffin wax!!! That is so unsanitary-and to be reported. Watch them when you dip your hand or foot into the paraffin bath. When you return from the hand dipping station they never throw out the paraffin. Likewise when getting a pedi, they never throw out the wax. They take it to the back room/kitchen/laundry room and put it in a pile to be re-used.** Note skin and hair is sloughed off in this process and your pores open because of the heat. Even though they have washed your hands and feet prior, skin still sloughs off. Very unsanitary!! **

This nail salon is a hidden gem! I went in on a Saturday afternoon with no appointment and I still only had to wait about 5 minutes. This was very surprising to me as every pedicure seat was full, and every nail tech was currently working with a client. The woman that helped me was polite, and not overly chatty which I prefer. And she did a fan-freaking-tastic job on my nails! Oh, and did I mention the perks of simply arriving? You get a free beverage (coke, sprite, etc) and a piece of candy once you sit down with a technician. And then after you pay they let you choose a gift from a basket of beauty products that they had sitting on the drying station. Overall great experience, and I will definitely be making this my regular salon.

Lied about being too busy to do gel polish on me. Been here twice before very recently, very unsanitary salon. Just go somewhere else.

The lady was very impolite and rude. I walked in and she said, “We can’t help you” without asking what needed to be done. Then she stared at me, laughed, and started talking about me. I am never coming back here again.

Is the worst salon ever, she did a very bad and poor job on my nails I hated and the second I left I went to another salon to take them off, don’t ever go there they are very bad and not professional.
