I love vip! I have gone there ever since I was young. They are so personable and friendly. They are also EXTREMELY clean and take covid precautions very seriously. I always book my appointments with lily. Shes so so sweet and personable and always making sure to wish me happy holidays when she gets the chance. She always does an amazing job on my nails. She is also really good with doing different designs:)

I loved my first post pandemic pedicure! I felt very safe and well taken care of. Tracy did an amazing job in making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I will definitely come back :) Only odd thing is I was charged $1 more on my credit card than the advertised cost, I tipped cash and didnt need a receipt, so only noticed when checking my statement which was odd. Its just a $1 but still odd.

I will never come back here. I sat in the chair for 10 minutes before a nail tech even came to start on my pedicure when I had an appointment that I was on time for. While she was cutting my nails and clipping the dead skin around my nails, she literally ripped the skin off by yanking it and I started bleeding. She then threw some powder substance on it to make it stop bleeding. Never asked if it was okay. Then in the middle of my appointment she disappeared for 10 minutes to go help another client without warning. My toe is now infected where she ripped the skin off. Horrible service.

This was my first time visiting after the suggestion from a friend. Happy to have found this little spot so close to my home. My nails looked great and my skin was so soft after my treatment. I’ll be a returning customer.

VIP nails is makng every effort to stay clean and COVID free. The salon was very clean, socially distanced, and friendly. Wonderful selection of colors and options. Their phone system was a little wonky so we had to book online, but that was the only hiccup.

I have been a client for years and have always been very happy with their service. I received a gift card for VIP nails at XMAS before COVID started. I am finally fully vaccinated so decided to use the gift card. Since I help an older parent, I couldnt risk getting covid and spreading it to someone vulnerable. I was saddened and disappointed that they wouldnt honor the card.

The place was clean, COVID friendly (masks, partitions, hand sanitizer, social distancing, etc.), coordinated, and well organized. Although I requested an appointment at a certain time, when I came early, they accommodated me. I wanted my nails to be dipped with Lily and got the #3 pedicure with Tracy at a very reasonable price. Both ladies are fabulous and very professional. I enjoyed my experience here.

Love this salon. Been coming here since moving to the Oak Hill area. Service is always wonderful and staff are great too. I’ve never had a bad service here. And with the recent Covid-19 precautions, the salon has taken extra steps to ensure safety of the clients and the staff. Highly recommend this nail salon!

Customer since they opened and normally service was above average with the exception their polishes are dated and they add polish remover to them. On June 13, after standing on the sidewalk in the heat for an additional 15 minutes, had a pedicure, gel manicure & eyebrow wax by Tammy ($70 very reasonable $20 tip). Ten days later nail broke and set looked 3 weeks old. No problem come in when it’s convenient I was told - called today and surprisingly had no record of my call and Tammy/salon refused to correct it. By by VIP Nails - shame on you!!

I came in for a full set/ gel and they came out super chunky. I asked the nail tech to file them down to get rid of the chunkyness but seemed she didnt really care.

Went to VIP nails today. Excellent service and nails look great! Safety measures are in place and include a routine to assure CDC and health department standards are being met.Call ahead and arrive a few minutes before appointment time. We did. No waiting. No close contact with anyone. The pedicure chairs are individually sectioned off and wiped down after each person. I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing.

Today is Fri June 12th. First reopening since March (Corona). Glad theyre back!...Services were good, Cleaning and Safety Equipment added. Effort is very much Appreciated. Working through a few kinks, but theyll get there!

My frnds and me visited this shop, person who did peducure and manicure has long nails. After peducure i felt pain her nails scrached on my legs ... even now for some reason my hand nails pains a lot for some reason.. i got a bad service herePlease make sure to cut your nails whe ur doing service to customer

I just went to VIP Nails in Herndon (McLearen Square) for the first time in months. To say I was impressed with the safety measures they have put in place is an understatement. WOW! I was greeted outside to answer a few basic health questions and get my temperature (standard procedure these days) and asked to wash my hands when I went in before anything. Next I went to my pedicure station, which is now completely sectioned off from the others by hanging plastic shields. You feel absolutely isolated from the other customers (in a healthy way). Please go to VIP Nails, you will love it! Just make sure you call ahead for an appt.

I love this place. They always get it right. My gel manicures last more that 3 weeks without chipping. It doesnt matter who does my nails at this shop. Everyone is good.

Phenomenal service. There were 5 of us guys on there getting pedicures. Best kept secret. Massage chair, full foot treatment. I almost fell asleep a few times it was so relaxing. Followed by a manicure. Friendly staff. Very thorough service. They stayed open way after they were suppose to close to accommodate all their guests. Popular spot for very good reason.

Very negative and unprofessional group of technicians. Their work is not bad at all. Just their mouths. Ive been there 3 times and all 3 times I heard them talk bad about customers not knowing I understand. Today I am finally fed up with it. Im paying for service not begging for it. The last thing I want to hear is 5-6 Vietnamese ladies talking very loudly. She talked about my feet, about how I look and that I seem cocky! Well i wonder why I dont talk to them we have nothing in common to talk about! The environment is not peaceful at all. I will never be back and encourage anyone looking for a nice salon to search elsewhere!

Update post COVID reopening: they have thought of every detail! From a touch less faucet at the sink, touch less checkin, plexi dividers between each pedi station, space at every mani station and plexi between technicians and clients. Super clean and lots of cleaning from everyone to maintain while service. Friendly staff that is eager to help navigate through and provide and amazing foot massage. I am so glad they are back and really a great local small business to support in reopenings!This place is AMAZING - gel, powder, regular, all are really great services! It’s super clean, tools are always sterilized and the spa pedi is so lovely and relaxing (my fave is #4) - all of the technicians are excellent in technique and style! I have been a regular for a few years and they have always been very consistent and welcoming!

I was a walk-in while on vacation and even though I had to wait about 20 minutes, the servicr was great! I was offered a beverage and snack while I waited and the atmosphere was really nice. Helen did my nails (take off and then full set) and they looked absolutely fantastic!! If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular client!!!

My first experience here a d most likely will not be coming back. The service was okay and theyre very fast to seat you.. BUT they rush you (depending on who you have). The prices arent obviously shown kn the store so make sure to ask. I got nicked really bad and they didnt acknowledge the excessive bleeding. Ive gotten nicked before but not ever as bad as this. Bring cash!! They dont charge your card for tip

I have always had a good experience here! Now, I always call first to set up an appointment, and would highly recommend doing that. Even if you call 1/2 hour before, youre usually able to get right in with no wait. Sometimes when theyre extremely busy, its a little more rushed, but Ive always been happy with my toes!

Always long wait and they never tell you upfront and ladies talking in Native language and speaking bad abt clients. Pedicure when done also is so fast express.

I was completely blissed out when I got a $25 pedicure here. I got a cold coke, luxurious long pedicure that left me feeling amazing, and a full size bottle of Bath and Body Works Bath Wash. I look forward to going back for more services.

VIP nails does a wonderful job. Every technician is capable. The atmosphere is friendly. Good for mani, pedi, wax! They even offer water, sodas and candy... and you can take a gift (such as hand cream) home with you!

VIP Nails on Centreville RdThis nail salon is very clean. They have large shower cap looking things that line the tub for your pedicure so your feet arent soaking in the same tub the last person soaked in. All the tools they use, even the buffing blocks, are new every time. They offer drinks and candy and after your mani/pedi they offer a free gift which is a beauty product. I go to Twee-she does an amazing job on my nails!

The only saving grace for this salon is the fact Tamie did a great job removing some very broken acrylics and putting on a new set. She was patient, gentle and really took her time getting them off without causing me pain. And she was incredibly thorough with the shape of the new nails. She is very talented when it comes to rebalancing crooked nails.The shop is quant and dated. They dont have the greatest polish display and most their paint samples are dirty or covered in dried polish. Not entirely impressed.Another reason this location is not receiving a 5 star is my date had to have their manicure corrected - and although they corrected it without a fuss, the fact it had to happen costs them a star.

Extremely dissatisfied customer. I just moved to the Herndon area from Vienna and was looking for a new nail salon closer to the house. I tried out this place on a Wednesday night for a pedicure and was slightly disappointed that my woman only did one paint coat; however, I was polite and let it go. They did not have enough time before closing to do my nails, so I made an appointment for a full set with tips and additionally made nail/pedi appointments for my daughters and me to go on Saturday morning. Ended up calling back Friday to bump the appointment to Sunday and they said that had availability at 10:30am.We arrived early Sunday morning around 10am. They made us wait the full half hour although the salon was empty (they opened at 9:30am, but none of their staff were there). The one woman started getting the pedi chairs ready and had my girls sit down and start to soak their feet. Then, Imagine my surprise when the woman mentioned that there was no one on staff that day able to do my “fake” nails. She followed by asking if that was OK?.... well now it’s going to have to be ok because my daughters were already in the chairs and it was too late to leave and go elsewhere. So I was a good trooper and sat there while my kids get their nails done (about an hour and a half).I go to pay and they tell me that their credit card machine is broken and that I’d have to NOW walk next door to the Food Lion to get cash. Now mind you that I was planning to pay with card and had some limited cash to cover tip; however, I did not have enough cash on me to cover the full amount. So now, after sitting around for an hour plus.... that’s when you tell me your machine is broken!?? I could have easily walked over while they were doing the girls nails. Luckily my kids nails turned out OK, but this is the last time that I try getting my nails done at this place. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere! You should as well.

I wish I can rate 0 here out 5! The service in this salon is ridiculously poor! The people working there are very loud and very unprofessional! They think that they entertain their customers by talking their language so LOUD!! Obviously, they are backbiting!! Very unorganized in terms of dealing appointments! Ive been going there many times, just because of one lady that is so sweet and everyones jealous of her because I double my tip towards her! Why because shes the only one that is so different from others who care for the service not the tip! I only want her to do my nails, coz the other technicians are so rude!! Ive experienced many times, I called and made appointment over the phone and when I showed up, I ended up waiting for 30 minutes to an hour! Very UNORGANIZED!!! I gave them a chance many times!! But my experience today made me hit my peakest point that I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT FREAKING SALON ANYMORE!!! I swear!!!! I was so mad and disappointed! The lady who always do my nails already started cleaning my nails and all in a sudden the lady in the front desk (maybe shes a salon manager?) said, Oh she cant do your nails, coz she has an appointment coming! What the heck! So rude, no respect to a customer! I was already sitting there and she already removed the nail polish in my nails and all in a sudden she told her that she cant do my nails???!!! The owner should do something!!! You are employing these technicians with no manners at all!!! THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DEAL CUSTOMERS!!!!
