My main issue with this place is they don’t have consistency with their doctors. You are most likely never to see the same doctor twice which does not provide continuity of care. I question how the staff is treated if no one ever stays past a year. That’s a serious red flag. I also do not like the fact that doctors are not thorough with their physicals and you spend the majority of that time waiting in the room. It’s almost like they want you to wait a certain amount of time just so they can bill the insurance company for a certain amount of time. They also always put bogus stuff on your paper work saying they encouraged you to do this and they educated you on that when in reality they do a quick check up, try to force certain vaccinations on you, and send you out the door. If this practice is for this community and are truly a non profit facility then they need to act accordingly. I think this place has great potential but the higher ups need to humble themselves and actually listen to their patients and figure out what they are doing wrong to have such a poor turner over in staff.

This is my second appointment, and when I show up they tell me my appointment was cancelled, and when I asked for a new albuterol subscription they told me it would take 24-72 hours. I explained I wouldn’t be in the area for 2 weeks, and they basically just told me oh well. So when I end up having an asthma attack because I had no inhaler I’ll be contacting them
They change doctors fast never see the same dr twice. When you run out of meds they wont give you a few pills till you can get appt. Putting pockets before patients is harmful.
Doesnt seem too know how to treat my issues. As such have the honor of paying them multiple times for more down time away from work which makes it harder to pay them. Get ready to get misdiagnosed. I hope dan rosko gets sued till he lives in a ditch where he belongs.

I’ve been a patient here since 2009 this dental practice is horrible. I called in about having a tooth pulled and was told I needed to update my proof of income, which I did. Appointment was scheduled I assumed for my tooth to be pulled but it was only for a cleaning, I was told I’d have to comeback for that tooth to be pulled and that appointment was pushed 2 months out, the day before the appointment the office called me and told me again there was no updated proof of income on file for me and my appointment was canceled, lady was very rude and wasn’t trying to hear that I’d already done proof of income. That whole office was unprofessional they are just trying to bill your insurance and get you out the chair
Getting Rxs renewed for refill is always a problem. After my appointment last month which was solely to have Rxs renewed. When get to pharmacy in same building only 1 of the 2 prescriptions were sent. Went immediately back to Family Health to get other prescription after a week of constantly inquiring about it never did get it. Recently needed another script refilled thru mental health a script that was supposed to be on file at the Express Pharmacy. When I called I found out that it was deleted. The previous month the pharmacy was out of that medicine so I had it filled at another pharmacy. For whatever reason pharmacist removed both scripts ???. Oh and learned then that the prescription I tried to have refilled for over a week had been filled at some point, never notified. Now Im forced to call refill line to get script that should have already been on file. Only now get call back next day after calling it in telling me its to soon to be calling. There policy is 3 days before its to be filled. My experience has been that the 3 days isnt enough time for them. Thats why I started calling a little sooner than the 3 days. Tried to explain this to person who called but they were so rude. When I mentioned I knew that I wouldnt be able to have it filled until Monday (this is on previous Wednesday) she goes on to say that I wouldnt need it until Thursday. My insurance and federal law will only let me get my script every 28 days. I try to pick it up on 28th day just in case there is a problem ( which has happened) so I dont go without medicine.
I have been going to this office for therapy for a year because I lost my wifeOf 45 years from cancer.they sent me a letter telling me I need to find a new provider.i switched my insurance to a Medicare advantage plan.i am not gonna start in with somebody new now.its obvious they dont care about their patients .Its all about the money.steve temple.
The cancel policy is BS. Bennett canceled on me less than 24 hours in advance and no apology or anything about that. But i overslept one appointment and I gwt a call pretty much on my behind even tho i called to reschedule. Been without my meds for 2 weeks now because of being canceled on and wont just give me my refills on the meds I need which arent supposed to just be witbdrawn from. Horrendous
Ms Walker ( I wont call her Dr) has no compassion or interest in your health problems. I wonder why she became a doctor when she so obviously could care less about suffering. Every interaction seems like an inconvenience to her.
Just got done with my appointment with Dr. Michelle Walker and I am completely disappointed and upset. She was very rude, rushed through my entire appointment and showed no regard for what I had to say or the problems I was coming to her with. I will not be seeing her ever again and I suggest that no one does.
Really enjoyed my experience with Dan Rosko and his team. They went above and beyond to provide excellent service, especially with my time-sensitive issue. Highly recommend!

The doctors are good to decent, but the system is horrible, day one they couldnt even scan my insurance card and cancelled my appointment without telling me, I let it slide and things seemed decent. But when I dropped off important paperwork only for it to be filled out a month later and filled out incorrectly costing me a month of cash assistance and the original paper was lost but still in the system. Yet my doctor who it was filed under to fill out never got the paper, my other doctor took it and filled the dates out wrong and they couldnt even compensate for their inability to even take responsibility. Theres plenty of other doctors to try. How disappointing.
If I could give them a Zero I would. I’ve been calling them for four days in a row for my medication and still have yet to get it. They said I should’ve called before my meds ran out but the funny part is that I did and the lady Diane or whatever her name was said to have an appointment. Then I called the next day and they said that the doctor can take up to 3 business days (72 hours) to call in your medicine. I’m so over this place.
Do not go to this clinic !!! There are way better options, I had my minute-clinic NP recommend this place to me after facing homelessness, and I got on state insurance, I had a few doctors appointments to make for my clinical, I made the appointments in February the appointments were for March, and I get a phone call the week before my first appointment to reschedule I was nice about it so I allowed that, then I came in and they couldn’t do my testing because the days didn’t add up for my results... when they were the ones who recommended the rescheduling! Then I let them reschedule again and they tell me the test I need done was expired !! They had a whole week actually a whole month to prepare! I got so upset I just left and I slammed the door, so they discharged me for that, but didn’t let me know until I was there for an hour and a half ! And Bonita the “DR” started coming at me, I wasn’t responding and it made her more upset no privacy was given they left the door wide open, and then they have students doing all the nursing and the student didn’t wear gloves wash her hands address my name left the door wide open ! A waste of time do not come here It’s very ghetto and unprofessional
Friendly staff. Always helpful. I use the pharmacy and a blood lab in the building too. I really like my PA, and I feel like I am her only patient. They answer the phones quickly and I always get a good appointment time and date. No long waits either. All around good
I love how convenient and easy Family Healthcare of Hagerstown makes it for almost ALL of your health care needs in ONE PLACE! You can see your Primary Care Doctor, Children’s Pediatrician, any psych &/or therapy you may need, complete any lab work, fill any prescriptions, receive any necessary immunizations and you can also go see their amazing dentist for your cleanings and exams that are ALL IN ONE PLACE! They’re very professional and personal. Every time I have visited for myself, my husband, my mom and now our new baby - it has been a very easy check in, fast wait time and then scheduling any follow up appointment or getting proper referrals quickly. It just makes my hectic busy schedule a lot easier because I don’t have to travel to 5 sometimes 6 different places for any of my health care needs. They accept all Medicaid and Medicare along with most other health insurance policies. Also if you have multiple health concerns you know your doctors will work together as a team to make sure that you are receiving the top of the line best care possible for whatever your individual needs are. They have saved my entire family so much time, hassle, stress, money and gas that I wouldn’t recommend any other place for a family to visit. I wish there were more practices like Family Healthcare of Hagerstown available! Thank you so much for always being available for any and all sick calls and emergency appointments along with keeping all of our family’s physicals, immunizations, medications and other treatment consistent and up to date! You are all truly a lifesaver! I would give them 10 stars is it would let me. They’re one of the best places you could possibly go in this area. I get really concerned when a physicians office loses your paperwork. The Doctor I was seeing is no longer there and I called to get a common prescription refilled that I have been on for months. I was told it was cancelled. How does this happen? Why would you cancel a prescription for a life threatening condition like high blood pressure? They lost my pre-surgery authorization paperwork two days before my surgery. I had to leave my job and go sit in their waiting room until I knew it got sent to my surgeon. This cost me lost wages. They are very lax with their paperwork trail. However, my Doctor who is no longer there was very courteous and personable...go figure. I gave them three stars instead of the two I was going to give them only because I usually dont have to wait long and they are courteous but I would certainly prefer a five star Doctor and facility.
Everyone one at Family Healthcare are really friendly. Doctor Michelle Walker is the best.She very caring about her patients and she listens to what you have to say.And shes down to earth person.Not to many doctors around anymore that really cares about a patient
Dental practice is worst place there, they charging for no reason, their receptionist so rude, and Dr. Metz no empathy at all and very unprofessional dentist. They try to bring more customers but I never bring there my kids!! Dont recommend this place. Zero star to this dental.

The front desk person greeted us kindly, the registration staff was just as kind as can be! Our nurse was very pleasant and interested in what my mother had to say. The doctor was a few minutes late but she spent a lot of time with my mother so I see why. She was thorough and interested in her health issues. I will gladly bring her here again.

Express Pharmacy on premises for patients and public. This is a very busy office doing their best to address the many challenges found in healthcare today and to help the patients help themselves.

I am really happy. I saw the bus at my kids school and asked if they can take care of me. Not on the bus but I called and got an appointment and saw a lady dentist. I had to go back for more work but they are always very nice. I can go somewhere else but am happy here. My mom and kids and brother also go here.
I am sad to say that I will be seeking another doctor for my Moms mental and physical health. I have had 2 situations now with them not taking care of prior authorizations and my mother running out of her medications and not being able to reach someone on weekends to take care of it. I even called the practice twice to let them know that she was running out or running low and asked for an equivalent and they never took care of it at all, calked the emergency line on 3/9 to ask to speak or call back from doctor, was told it was not life threatening and got hung up on... Patients should NOT have to go without their medications and doctors should take care of their patients health care, some where within the organization the ball is getting dropped all the time, one mistake is understandable and acceptable but to continuously have this happen is just plain wrong. So now my Mom has to go without her medication the whole weekend until I can call them in Monday when they told me it would be taken care of on Friday !!!! Will not refer them to anyone again other than dental....

Ive been sitting on this and today I decided I couldnt take it anymore . Dr . Susan boyd needs to be fired !!! Immediately.. I changed drs because I needed someone to understand how bad my anxiety was . My PTSD and depression have been treated ok but when I changed drs. She labeled me a pill seeker . Ive been going here for years and I also have a chronic illness . I have never been more insulted in my life. I was seeking help not judgement. So when it come to my physic meds now I have no clue what to do . But she definitely does not care about people . So if you need help I suggest people go else where untill new drs are brought in .

Hi love my sons doctors but unfortunately I am very upset about your policy...I work late hours and my son had an 8am appt that he could not attend due to taking a test in school. He informed me of this late in the evening and the office was already closed. I called the first thing in the morning and I got told I can no longer to advance appt. I am extremely upset because of my work schedule I have can’t do same day appt and he is in school so that is impossible for us. Now I will have to find another doctor for my son. This is so unacceptable.
I have nothing but great things to say about this place my dr jodi mayo which is my primary is a amazing person and a dr i trust with my life i also go upstairs to have dental work done and dr graves is great she is very good and respectful making you comfy while the doing her work the staff is 100%respectful polite and understanding thank you everyone
This is the worst medical facility I have ever been to. I had blood work done and they lost the test results. It is 3.5 weeks after I had the tests done and every time I call to ask about the results, they transfer me to someone’s voicemail and I never get a call back. Don’t waste your time and energy going here because they do not value their patients.
Horrible customer service. My daughter was seen on the dental bus for a routine cleaning at her school. Not only did they violate HIPAA but when I called with concerns they were extremely rude.
I love the atmosphere and people here. All happy, easy going, & eager to help you along the process- even if there is a problem or slip up along the way. We all make mistakes every now and then. Very professional people. 👌✌
Definitely a dental no-go if you are looking for a dentist. My daughter sees Doctor N, who is amazing, but the 4th floor seems to be their own business.First, I go in to make an appointment with them due to having broken teeth and pain all around. They have me fill out paperwork as well as a financial aide form and schedule an emergency appointment. I leave work early for said appointment, get a call that the previous client didnt show and was asked if I wanted to come in early. I informed them I had one errand to run before going there. Demeanor changed on the phone and I was asked If I would be there with all paperwork filled out because they had to have me in the chair at my appointment time. (No biggie. I figured they were a pretty busy place due to my appointment having been scheduled 2 weeks out to begin with). I get there, and no one can find my financial aide form, so I had to fill a second one out. I was then charged $65 on their sliding fee scale just to go see the dentist. I finally get upstairs, no one is in waiting room, and Im rushed back to a chair. The assistant asked me what happened, like I had been there a million times before. She had no idea I was a new patient until she looked at my file while I was in the room (if thats what you can call it. Everything was open, and each room was visible to the other). The assistant then informed me that they didnt have time to do a full exam and asked me which side hurt worse (again, it hurt all over). So I had to choose a side (which was what hurt the most right then). They took one xray, then I waited almost 10 minutes for the dentist. She was really sweet, but took a look at the xray and said I needed an extraction on one and could either get a referral to another place for a root canal (because we dont do those here) on another or have it extracted as well. Still in pain, I said to schedule for both extractions. She prescribed me some antibiotic and ibuprofen and walked me out to the lobby. Back downstairs, I schedule the extractions...no availability for the time that works best for me for a little over a month. Fast forward to just under a week later, my ibuprofen is running out. My bottle says no refills so I try to call the office to get one sent out or something. The automated message has an option for prescription refills (but, I found out, its only for the health center, not the dental). Over the last 2-3 weeks, now, Ive called them for a refill. Either, no one answers and I leave a message or I talk to someone who transfers me to someone else with whom I must leave a message. I finally had it yesterday and canceled my appointment that was scheduled for next week (which someone answered and was happy to help me with that).
I have never seen such an unprofessional collection Of Doctors and healthcare workers in one medical center in all my life. They cancel appointments and never call to tell you, so you show up for an appointment that has been canceled. Doctors and Therapists have all quit at the same time, leaving you to find services elsewhere. You have to make an appointment to be seen instead of the traditional 6 month visit as routine. If you are sick and try to make an appointment you have to call at 7:30 am and hope they have something, they never have for me in the 2 years Ive been with them. THIS PLACE JUST ALL AROUND SUCKS!!!

They treated me like garbage from receptionist to assistant to doctor. There was only one person who was consistently pleasant and unfortunately she had nothing to do with the care I received.

I will not be returning due to the simple lack of help over the phone after a visit. My dr Sarah park was great but the people who answer phones on April 1st between the time of 3:50pm and 4:30pm do not belong in a customer based environment. I was put on hold 4 times within 5 second of being on hold I was hung up on. I finally got a hold of a very unpleasant older woman who was extremely ignorant and hung up on me. This place is terrible.
Worse place Ive ever been too..dr.atwall has allowed me too stay in pain and not return any phone calls or return a phone call over meds for a pinched nerve that made me sick...ordered and MRI jan 28 and Im still waiting for the dr.atwall to follow threw with it...very disrespectful when i called too see what is going on because the pain is horriable and is all day everyday i was told to stop calling they will no longer accept my phone calls the doctor will call me when he feels like it and has time...3 months latter and Im still waiting...dr.walker is no better not too mention there nurses suck...Susan and Kim the directors in charge of complaints have proven to be discriminatory and biast and shouldnt have the position they have....NEW PATIENTS BEWARE...cant count how many times I was hung up on told dont call back and this was not from just nurses I went threw the entire chain of command and even was treated rude and hung up on and pretty much had my complaint dismissed by Kim murdaugh the executive director...BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME AND SUCH A RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF...NOT TOO MENTION HAD MY RECORDS PULLED BY SOMEONE IN THE OFFICE WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR SIGNATURE.....ALL BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AND FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR

Tried to make a first time appointment and the woman who answered the phone said that I could not make an appointment and then download the appropriate forms to fill out and bring with me to the appointment (like they do everywhere else) but rather I had to actually come in and fill in the forms and ONLY THEN could we schedule an appointment.After we hung up, I saw this paragraph on their website: When you arrive for your appointment, we will ask you to complete the appropriate forms (see forms below). To make your visit easier, please feel free to download and complete the forms and bring them with you when you come to Family Healthcare of Hagerstown.Your APPOINTMENT. The one you made prior to filling out the forms!! So I called back and asked to make an appointment and said I would be happy to download and fill out the forms and bring them in at that time. Again, I was denied even after pointing out how their own website contradicts this.If they cant even get information right on a website, I am horrified at the level of care they potentially provided. No thanks!!
I seen the dentist part of this facility and usually its good but I have been having tmj issue and they messed up filling one off my teeth now I am in pain and they said they were gunna charge me to redo whatthey were suppose to do in the first place Im not very happy with the dental department.alsoif you have outsides with your teeth they schedule it a month away leading room for more bad to happen to your teeth

MY mom was a patient there for over a year and we had several problems with them Id dodge this place if you could. Their refill system is one of the more annoying problems where they dont respond to faxes or calls from pharmacies they want you to call it in and when you do youre not sure if they did it.I handle my moms meds and try to call them in early one time they had where it took them two weeks to refill one. In that two weeks I left the message on their answering service seven times, CVS tried faxing them eleven times, my parents went in themselves once, and I went in myself twice until they finally refilled it.Another is they dont do their own tests when another doctor changes a medication they just mark it down and go with it or refill it. My mom was misdiagnosed with having a seizure by Martinsburg City Hospital several months ago and they put her on a medication for it and Family Healthcare refilled when at the time I agreed at least it was working. Once she followed up with neurology it turns out she didnt have a seizure and didnt need the medication or so we thought until it seems her body was adapted to it. Eventually after a medical complication we were told by a doctor she didnt need to be on it as it was causing the problem and she had a stroke.Follow up appointments was another issue. After my mom was admitted to Martinsburg and discharged they saw her then but after Meritus saw her the first time before the stroke Family Healthcare took two weeks to respond and even then wanted her to wait another two weeks just to see a trauma nurse and not the actual doctor.Lastly heard them one time after driving my mom to her appointment saying they lucked out and got some sample prescriptions that were close to expiring to try with some of the patients while I was waiting in the waiting room on my parents.Senior citizens arent lab rats especially my parents and as for the final bill remaining of $113.46 to Family Healthcare theyll be getting it $20 a month as my moms hospital bill has got to be nuts now since she hasnt been home in over a month and we havent seen it yet for the stroke but at least itll be paid and can cut ties with this place.PS to any possibly looking for doctors offices if you want check with your local hospitals and see if they have a list of offices accepting new patients. Did it with Meritus and made things alot easier. Heres hoping their practice gets better it wont be with us though.

This is basically a drive thru medical service, they dont wait till the numbers stop on the scale to take your correct weight, the doctor I saw sat about 6 feet from me, never looked into my ears, never listened to a word I was saying, just wanted to push those Anti Depressants down your throat and send you on your way, avoid this place and Dr. Michelle Walker at all cost. The very first question they asked me was, How much money do I make per month why is that even a thing, I waited a month to finally get an appointment, and then to be hit with whats my income question that is none of your damn business, got blue cross blue shield insurance and pay out the ass for it, your issue of we ask this because we get grants from the governement is NOT MY PROBLEM. The receptionist asked more questions then this doctor did, I would have gotten more help if I had just slept in and not wasted my month waiting for someone that only knows how to prescribe 2 things, A. antibiotics, and B. antidepressants. The cure all for people that went to med school but was too busy looking and the mirror than to bother paying attention and learning something so you can help patients without choosing the big 2 pharma fix alls. It just simply amazes me that people like that are in this profession when I honestly dont think they could hold down a job at the local mcdonalds. I wouldnt even give this place 1 star out of 5 but thats the lowest the rating goes. Pathetic
