Absolutely horrific services! They cant seem to keep a psychotherapist for children. I was told months ago, they would call to set up an apt when a new provider was hired. My daughters medication is running low and my pharmacy submitted a renewal which was denied. I called the office and spoke with Nicole the Nurse she was rude and unprofessional. She told me even though my daughter is on antidepressants and a mood stabilizer and now has 1 day left, it can not be refilled without seeing a provider which they dont have. Medications are not supposed to be quit cold turkey! Yet they are allowing my daughter to do so! The nurse then hung up on me when I stated if something happens to my daughter due to quitting cold turkey bec of the business that it wont be good for them. She acted very childish and hung up on me!! Run as far as you can just like their providers do!

Total failures to provide all aspects of safe, effective and compassionate care, regardless of contact, in excess of 2 months.

Rude, unprofessional staff who are ill equipped to provide adequate care. Front office staff is incompetent and the providers leave much to be desired. I would highly suggest seeking treatment at another place if you wish to seek quality care.

Attempted to transition psychiatric care to a certified nurse practitioner at the North Village location. Several management and customer service problems: (a) there is a policy that patients cannot leave voicemails for the actual providers, (b) the providers secretaries do not return calls the same day, (c) there is a policy that prescription refill requests cannot be addressed for 3 full business days (72 hours), and (d) North Village allows practitioners to work 3 calendar days a week, without on-call coverage providers for the other 4 calendar days. I suppose they think patients wont need care for those 4 days each week, or, will just leverage emergency room critical care. There are other providers. Go somewhere else - I had to. Grade: F.

I’ve been seeing Amanda at the North Village office for a year. She has been VITAL in helping me manage my mental health. I can without a doubt say she is the one person that has impacted my life the most. I am already totally different than I was when I met her last year. All of my friends know about her and I recommended her and Brook Lane to everyone.

Brook Lane North Village has THE WORST customer service I have ever received and this is supposed to be a mental health care provider. I am disgusted by this business and their practices. Please educate yourselves and your reception staff on how to speak to patients. You may also want to update your company policies instead of discharging mental health patients for ONE missed appointment in over 4 years of treatment. I wouldn’t refer my worst enemy to this place, let alone a friend or family member. DO BETTER BROOK LANE. Unacceptable.

I went there for the first time today and I never even got to see a therapist! We checked in and waited for an hour just to find out the computer made an “error” and marked us as a no show. Then they told us after another 10 minutes of waiting that they could move another patient’s appointment (I wouldn’t be happy if I was that patient) and get us in later today, which I couldn’t do. Otherwise we would have to wait over a month for another Tuesday appointment!!! Considering it was their mistake they should have tried harder to correct it, but that particular Doctor apparently does not see patients in the evenings. I’m sorry but if I made that mistake I would make an exception and stay later to correct the situation.

Worst psychiatrist I’ve ever been to. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Staff was cold and completely unwilling to work with you. The psychiatrist I saw told me point blank that if I was working in the helping profession I shouldn’t be seeing a psychiatrist myself. When I tried to switch providers to see someone who would actually try to get to know my situation they refused due to another medication I was taking that the entire facility refused to prescribe, even though my doctor was already prescribing it for me so I didn’t even need anyone to prescribe it to me there.Very unprofessional, staff was rude, and the psychiatrist had the biggest God Complex I’ve ever seen. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but if this helps somebody else from going through the same experience I will gladly share my distaste for this facility. If I could give it zero stars I would.

If you are looking for a psychiatrist for medication, good luck because I have not seen a psychiatrist since the summer of 2018 (writing this now in February 2019). I currently still go to Brookelane, solely due to that that they seem to be the only mental health provider in town. However I almost debate trying to go off medicine just so I would not have to go there anymore. The only good thing about Brookelane is their therapists.

I love my therapist, but I dont love having to check in at the front desk. Im literally screaming in my head at the people in front of me to hurry the hell up, and when I go to a different window, all I see is a Next Window Please sign. So, yeah. Brooklane needs more people at the front desk.

***Updated Review***I originally went and saw 1 therapist (I wont name names). We were a really bad fit. We didnt mesh well. Once my original meds dr in their office (shes since moved on) heard how I was feeling about it, she immediately took care of finding me a new therapist. She made the transition beyond smooth & my old therapist assured me there were no hard feelings.Within a short timeframe, I was with Rena, who has been an awesome therapist. Im so grateful to have someone I am comfortable talking with. I can be open & tell her anything without fear of judgment or worrying about whether shell overreact. As a bonus, she knows I have an unconventional religous belief system, but (despite our differences), she doesnt judge me for it & she doesnt try to convert me to her way of thinking. Shes open, caring, respectful, & really helpful. She hears what I have to say and thinks before responding, so I know shes not just blanket treating me. Im an odd duck & it seems that she likes the challenge. I always feel emotionally lighter & happier after our sessions.Dr Dever handles my meds currently and is doing great. He listens, he is interested in my input, & goes to great lengths to ensure I get the appropriate medications, while trying to avoid overmedicating me. He doesnt just throw meds around carelessly. Im always comfortable with his treatment plans, and he clearly enjoys his career. Hes happy for my successes & works to help me through when theres a problem.I love the front desk personnel. Theyre fast, efficient, & do everything in their power to ensure Im taken care of. If a problem arises, which is rare, theyre quick to fix it.I have 0 complaints regarding this office. 💜

I had the WORSE experience ever with Brook lane at this location very unorganized and extremely rude making you feel small and very judgmental telling me my diagnosis of what my psychiatrist who is also at the same company is wrong this was just the intake process didnt even see a therapist yet already canceled my appointment to see one, this experience has discouraged me from continuing to find a therapist. I do not recommend going to this location.

So, I seldom actually write reviews, I usually just rate and move on but this time I got a reply to my rating so it promted me to see the reply, and it also showed a bunch of reviews below me the first of which I could see, so I read it, it was a negative review, so I read some more reviews and many were bad reviews. I can not understand, it seems as if these people are seeing a completely different office, I have had nothing but good experiences here my therapist is the best I have ever had, and Stacy at the front is awesome, everyone else Ive dealt with here is great, and even the ones I dont know are friendly, and I am not a social or friendly person, and its not like its change since these reviews I have been going here for 2+ years. Im sorry I have nothing bad to say about this place or its staff, they are understaffed on pysiciatrists, but that isnt their fault, everyone is, pysiciatrists are hard to come by I guess, everywhere Ive gone has trouble in that department, Dr Dever is new but he is great also, I Love this place!!!

A year ago I was referred to this place and the front desk staff was bad. A year later I return and it is the same and worse. Trying to speak to anyone via phone is even worse. I was told a doctor would call me I never got the call back and I do have private insurance, mind you. I guess your health doesnt matter here just the money. I will take my business elsewhere. Its only fair people know the state of this place. Dont expect great care because you wont get it.

Horrible!! They knew we were driving almost two hours to see a specialist there for grief counseling for my child. Last time they canceled day prior. Twenty minimum before this appt, and around the corner, they call and tell me they reschedule to 4PM. Told them I was around the corner. They still wouldn’t see him at the original time. Never ever again!!!

I think the staff r rude and judgementle towards people and take advantage of the clients that come through the front doors. They know that they can say anything they want and get away with it. U need to take a step back and relize how bad u hurt people by doing that . Were no different than u r we didnt deserve to have what happen to us to have to come here in the first place . Then get pumped full of crazy meds because the people that hurt us mently were having a hard time dealing with it. U all should give us a break when we walk through them doors and NOT MAKE MATTERS WORSE. IF THIS ISNT THE LINE OF WORK FOR U GET OUT OF IT AND STOP HURTING OTHERS!!!!!!!
