The ladies definitely know what they’re doing. Service was amazing and they are all so sweet. This was my first time here and I absolutely loved my experience here. I highly recommend Sophia Nails.

I actually liked this shop after my first couple visits. I was getting the Dip Powder on my nails. One visit I asked for Pink & White (French) and the tech explained that Gel would look nicer. I normally don’t do gel/gel powder because I don’t want to use the UV light. However, I decided I would get it because I know the look is really perfect & she did a really great job. When I went to pay the total was $120 or something like that. I ONLY HAD MY NAILS DONE!! Of course I inquired & she said that’s how much a new set of gel pink & white is but it would be $50 for refill. My fault because I didn’t ask when she first recommended gel. I returned for my refill about 3 weeks later & the total was $65-I again inquired as to why not $50. Her response was because whenever they have to do the white tip gel again it’s more money. It wasn’t my fault this time. I don’t like their “pricing on the spot!!” Again, I liked the shop, her work but telling me one price & charging me another is not cool with me. I recommend using the salon but ask before any service!! A mistake I won’t make again.

I first came here two weeks ago because I have been getting a dip manicure at a different nail salon that is not open on Sunday. Not all nail salons do dip powder so I googled and this nail salon popped up. I really like that you can make an appointment online for this location. So far I have been there twice and each time they were fairly busy but most importantly, I did not feel rushed. I plan on continuing to use Sophia Nail as my regular nail salon.

They burned my upper lip with wax. They don’t line the foot tubs with plastic which is unsanitary. The mani/pedi was too expensive for average and basic service.

I went here wanting to try a new place. Staff was professional and clean. They did my nail perfectly. I’m used to having shaky experiences with nail salons. This place was amazing and I 100% will be returning.

The customer service is wonderful. They have a COVID screening process. The salon is clean. The manicure lasts long when done here.

I’ve been using this salon for a while and extremely happy! Definitely a bit pricey but we’ll worth it! Their work is beautiful and lasts!! Love the chrome option!👍🏼

MY FIRST EXPERIENCE HERE HAS BEEN GREAT. IT WAS FAIRLY EASY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY COMMUNICATED WITH ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY VIA TEXT, EVEN OFFERING ME A SPOT EARLIER TOO. MY NAILS CAME OUT SO BOMB. I HAD TO HAVE MY ACRYLICS TAKEN OFF AND A NEW SET PUT ON. IT WAS A BIT ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE, BUT YOU PAY FOR QUALITY WORK. ALREADY MADE MY FOLLOW UP BECAUSE THEY DID AN AWESOME JOB.

I came here for a set of dip powder. After the first time I came in my nails had cracked. The owner was very nice and offered to have them all fixed. I’m glad I took him up on this offer. They turned out way better and look amazing. He was very very sweet about what had happened. I will for sure return if I’m in the area again!

New to Hackensack, so I was really looking for a nail salon that is no more than 10 min away from my place & also that took Covid precautions seriously. I tried one place out a bit farther(not in Hackensack, and they didn’t even write your name down or temp check ... just in case someone got the virus and needed to report it to the salon.- Sophia’s Nails was very professional. I made the appointment online. There is parking in the back of the building so I was thrilled. I walked in told them I had an appointment. They checked my temp, and asked me a few Covid questions. I signed stating my answers were accurate. They took me right away. No waiting.I got the powder dip and a French pedicure.6 days in and my nails are holding up with a little bit of cuticle oil.I was very happy with the services provided and The energy in the salon was good!

Found my go to place for mani/pedi, will go back and see Mia 😊

The service was horrible, they couldn’t even do the ambre nails I wanted, tried to do it with a sponge, told me it would look better after a few more presses (it didn’t) then told me that it did not come out like an ambre because it is supposed to be airbrushed. They should have told me that before. So, I asked them if they could please take off the ambre, they got mad at me and then took it off and went back to white nails. Worst yet, THEY CHARGED ME $82 dollars for a new gel set. That’s a lot of money to ask for, I’ve gone to other places and the most for a new set would be 60-70 dollars. Do no come here or you want a normal price and great nails from the start. The only thing good was the shape. What I wanted was the screenshot and what I got was the salon pic I took before asking her to take it off.

Great customer service. My nails always come out looking super pretty and the nail tech always is down to do my wild nail art and stuff like that. A little expensive but honestly its so worth it its totally a relaxing spa experience.

I used to go to a different nail salon in hackensack, and I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago because its so close to my house, so I decided to try it out. Best decision ever. The women in the salon are all friendly, the service is great, and they take their time and pay close attention to your nails. I love it.

I’m from CT and I have never had this issue before. I got my nails done there on Saturday and by Thursday they started falling off. I was wondering what kind of glue the guy Danny was using but it makes sense. Now after all the money spent there I have to go and spend more money to get a full set elsewhere.

I was looking for a new nail salon and found a number of very positive comments on Sophia Nail. They must have been written by people who were never there. My 40 dollar gel pedicure which was advertised as lasting 60 minutes only lasted 35 minutes. I did not see the instruments come out of the sterilizer and they didnt have the plastic liner for the basin. These are but a few of the reasons why you should think twice about making an appointment here.

I have been looking for a nail spot for quite some time and found this place on google. It is super clean and EVERYTHING is sterilized.I usually get pedi + acrylic fill in + gel polish. Lee and Yohana are absolutely amazing. They both take their time in what they do while making sure that the service they are providing is exactly what you asked for. I usually go in every 2-3 weeks and my nails look intact. The owner is very accommodating and always makes sure you are satisfied.
