This amazing place took my broken down ford ranger and fixed it right on the spot. I was up and running to work in just a little over an hour. Trust me, their day was already full before I showed up with my truck that broke down this morning on my way to work. I cant thank them enough. I was referred to Cleveland Auto Repair by a Les Schwab employee, who uses them for his personal vehicles. I took in my car because it was making an awful screeching noise. I called ahead and scheduled my day to drop it off (which was a few days out, but my situation wasnt dire). I arrived shortly before their posted time of 7am, filled out the short intake, what information I didnt provide the lovely front desk asked clarifying questions. To save me from having to order an Uber, the lovely front desk woman drove me home (I live fairly close, but am lazy). I received a call about 3-4 hours later, informing me what the issue was and the surprisingly low cost to repair it. I also asked for an estimate on breaks, the mechanic quoted me and I asked him to replace both the front and rear. By 3:30 my car was DONE! I picked it up an hour later. I found their prices very reason; breaks were roughly the same as a few other places. The mechanic I had made quick work of the job.

Ive been trusting Arlen and his crew with my vehicles for over 20 years. Hes honest, his prices are more than fair and he does quality work. Which is why hes usually booked up for a few days. Great shop and Ill always bring my vehicles there to be repaired with no doubt about the price or workmanship

Very Honest, and Fair place to have your vehicle repaired. Fixed my 4 wheel drive system issue in 1 day.

They price gauge period! Tweekers cut out our catalytic converter. Called this place and they quoted atleast $800 just for labor, which they said would be 4hrs. Called a muffler shop and they quoted under $500 for parts an labor and it would be done in 30min. They tried to charge us over $700 to replace an alternator a few months back and we had to negotiate on the part. They were charging us for a premium part. If you call this place for a quote PLEASE make sure you check other places before being scammed by this place.

The people here are real, honest, hard working people who care about their clients. They will figure out what the problem is, let you know how much it will cost so you dont have any surprises later. Good work and good people!

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful family-ran auto repair shop. Whenever I am there, I know I will be taken care of & treated like family. They were able to care of the check engine light on my 97 Ford Ranger quickly/efficiently. I have always dreaded needing to have my cars repaired until now. I was visiting my mom from outta town and my van needed work fast. They hooked us up and did an amazing job! They had a challenging job and they overcame the many obstacles and returned it fast! What an amazing team. Highly recommended!!

I took my old minivan in to address some cooling issues. The problems were investigated and addressed on the first day and the van only needed to stay a second day to wait for a part to come in. Arlan kept in contact with me throughout the repair process and took an incredibly gracious amount of extra time out of his Busy workload when I went to pick up the van to help me understand all of the work that had been done. Driving home from the shop on one of the hottest days of the year, it was immediately apparent that the cooling system was operating better than I could’ve hoped for on this old hunk. Everyone I know who takes their vehicles to Cleveland trust them and I will always go back!

My dad used to take his older trucks here for years (he now has a new truck). They remembered his last name and asked if he was my father. I was impressed that they remembered him from that long ago. I took my 99 Ford Expedition to them. I called the day before and set up with them to drop off at 7:30am the next morning, they called me by 10am with a diagnosis and had my truck fixed by 4pm that same day! I picked up my truck that afternoon and it ran and still runs fantastic! The mechanic took time to explain what he did to my truck and the work was reasonably priced as well! Cleveland Auto Repair did an absolutely amazing job in repairing my truck they were very informative and they called me when they ran into an issue with my truck they were very informative about the issue and how much it was going to cost and ask for consent to fix it or not. Very honest, family owned shop. They even helped us find another mechanic who specializes in Smarts! We will definitely take our Ford Escape and minivan there for regular maintenance and anything else that we need.

This place is awful. We dropped off my brothers car for a diagnostic test. They had his car for 4 days, and wouldnt return our calls. We finally went into the shop after a week, only to hear the mechanic tell us that they havent had a chance to look at the car yet. The following week, they called and said the fuel pump needed to be replaced. We told them to go ahead and replace it. After another full week, the shop finally calls to ask if we want the fuel pump replaced. Very frustrated at this point, we said yes, but it needs to be done by the end of this week. We get the car back, and on the drive home from the shop, half of the exhaust and the whole muffler fell off. My brother also noticed that his stereo was set to demo mode, which only would have happened if his battery died and got reset - but the shop mentioned nothing about that. Then, the next morning, my brother tried to drive his car to work, but the battery died. He had to wait 3 hours for a tow truck, and work wasnt happy about that. While he was waiting for the tow, he looked under the hood to find out that they either pinched or disconnected one of the alternator cords. So now, his car wont start at all and he cant even roll up his windows. Its completely dead. We went back into the shop asking for a refund or some kind of compensation after wasting $400 at this worthless business, they told us that if we got the car towed down the street to their shop, they would look at the alternator. However, they wouldnt refund us, and they wouldnt even pay for the tow. They proceeded to tell us that the muffler and exhaust pipe falling off was not their fault - when we had no problems with it prior. We are frustrated and disappointed, and we are never going back here again.

Honest and informative when diagnosing my cars issues.
