The passenger seat seat belt alarm kept going off, regardless if there was someone in my passenger seat or not, or if the seat belt was buckled or not. Additionally the airbag light on the dashboard was stuck on.They diagnosed my car as the seat belt censor had gone out, and would require a $1,149 part with several hundreds of dollars in labor. I asked if they could simply disable the noise so my car would stop yelling at me while driving, and they insisted that wasnt an option.So I left, did a quick YouTube search and disabled the alarm simply by turning on the car without turning it over, repeatedly buckling and unbuckling the seat belt (Thanks YouTube for knowing more than certified technicians).I reached out to a few folks, who recommended the battery was the likely culprit (theres significant corrosion on mine, its over a decade old) so my wife and I replaced the battery with a brand new one. . . And every issue I took it in for was resolved. A hundred bucks later.Between a blatant bad diagnosis, insisting that they couldnt stop my car from yelling at me, and trying to get me to spend next to two grand on a non issue, I wont be returning here.

I have been most fortunate to have Gresham Subaru take care of my 2006 Tribeca since moving to the area in 2008. They do a fine job and if I am ever disappointed in any way at all they make it right and even give me a discount due to my inferior opinion of how or what was done--and perhaps I had expected them to READ MY MIND about what I wanted exactly. Ever done that, or been there folks? Well, the folks at this Service Department are very fine and well-trained in communication with the customer AS WELL as knowing my automobile and even my full-name when I come in with my car without an appointment most of the time. Never do they disappoint and I would not want anyone else taking care of my automobile. I take it in rather cluttered inside and dirty on the outside and it is shiny and bright at well as all service done at the time they said it would be done, too! How could I ask for anything more.
