My experience at Gresham Subaru could not have been better. From sales to finance to service this team is a well oiled machine! I called in about a specific Outback Touring XT with tons of questions about towing, trims, and more. Tracey, our outstanding sales professional, spent quality time understanding my needs and scheduled an appointment to test drive the following day. Our time at the store was easy, honest and Very educational. The team sourced the exact car and color I was looking for (they have a good regional network of dealer relationships) and Konoe helped me get Great financing. The service department installed a 2” hitch for me the following week so I could hook up a teardrop trailer, and Joseph was wonderful to work with through that. Thanks Gresham Subaru!

I have used Gresham Subaru (Nissan) service since I bought my first Subaru in 2005. They have always been friendly! In earlier years, they had excellent and comprehensive service. In more recent years, I have grown to be highly distrustful of their service. They sign off on multi point inspections as part of their service. This is completely bogus and is consistently not completed, per their own checklist. My headlight was inop and not found to be so. My new, Subaru-installed battery had a lot of corrosion and was not found during inspection. Battery completely died 2 weeks after bogus multi-point inspection. Air filter not changed through various inspections, even though clearly in need of changing. Cabin filter needed changing almost every 5000 miles, but engine filter remained unchanged and very dirty.I will no longer buy or service my Subaru at Gresham Subaru. This is After buying and servicing four Subarus at their facility for years. I cannot trust Gresham Subaru and this is a shame since they are the ONLY service center for Subis on the east side. Buy and service here, at your own risk.

My car was done and dusted in the service department on Monday-in record time. I had my 10,000 service and the small piece of recall work done in 1 hr. 15 mins. The nice surprise came when I went to pay the bill- there was none! I had forgotten that I purchased the service contract when I bought the car last November! My blue Subaru 2021 Crosstrek practically takes care of itself - it lets me know by text and on the screen if any warning information comes up. I am so pleased that I bought a Subaru. I feel very safe and protected in my little Bluebelle, as I call her.

Initially, I had a good experience buying my Impreza here last year. But thats where it ended. After the snow and ice earlier this year, I took it in to swap out my winter tires for the stock ones and to have an alignment done just in case. Got the car back with a crooked steering wheel and a loose wheel weight. Took it back in to have them fix the alignment again, rebalance the wheels and check the brakes since theyre squealing after only 12k miles. After a 90 dollar oil change and realignment, the steering wheel is now crooked in the opposite direction and their solution to the wheel weight was to just remove it, likely now an unbalanced wheel, and they never checked the brakes.Now to the sales department. Looked into trading up to a WRX or STI. Gave 5 different salesmen, including the sales manager himself, my information and what I wanted numbers on. Not a single one ever followed through with getting me any purchase info. They just dont care. Dont waste your time or money here and go to a different dealer.

My mom visited Gresham Subaru yesterday in a day of car shopping as she is very unhappy with her current vehicle and looking for something more reliable, comfortable, but with all wheel drive, drive assist etc. Knowing Subaru is the best I recommended that she go test drive some and check out what they had to offer. She had her mini golden doodle with her who is the sweetest and well behaved dog - knowing Subaru always has the commercials with the golden retrievers thought they would be dog friendly. The sales man came out to initially greet her but within minutes another sales man came out and pulled him aside, said something about her dog and that someone with a dog on a leash surely wouldn’t be buying a car. Well, surely sir, it’s your sales loss. And I’ve never been so disappointed as a lover of Subaru.She went to a local Mazda dealer where they treated her very well and she was able to test drive several vehicles. I’m hoping to get her to another Subaru dealer, but have never been so disappointed by one of the highest rated vehicle companies and am terribly sad that it was her first and only experience that left a bad taste in her mouth.

The parts department is awesome and helpful. 2 stars for price gouging on new cars. This is the only dealership in the Portland area that is adding $3k (technically $2995) to every vehicle. Why? Drive into town or one of the other suburbs and save yourself the Gresham Subaru tax. I’ll still go to your parts department due to living so close, but I will never buy a car from here with the ridiculous adjustment for market value.

I bought my new Subaru in November of 2020, had it in for a front end tie rod end work right after the storm, since it got damaged being towed and they did my alignment. After only 8000 miles my car needed new tires and I knew the alignment was done wrong. I went in and was helped by a lady and the manager approved my new tires and alignment at no charge to me and I was very grateful. However, my bad review comes from today getting my tires and alignment done. I had an appt for 7am before my work day and I was 15 min late due to a crash on the freeway backing up traffic and I apologized for being late I had no control over it. It took 4 hours to get my new tires on and the alignment done. If I had known it would take that long, which has never taken more than an hour before, I would have had a ride to work but since I had 3 hours before my shift I assumed that was plenty of time. I said something to the lady at checkout that I had no idea I was going to have to wait 4 hours and the only response I got was well I was waiting for you at 7am? Does 15min really make that much of a difference????? I was highly disappointed in my service and was then late to work and had to explain to my manger why.... I have been a return customer to Gresham Subaru, both my new cars I have purchased through them and I doubt I will again.

I want to give a shout out to EXCEPTIONAL customer service at Gresham Subaru. I use to take my 2015 Subaru to Lithia Subaru in Oregon City BUT I could not get the service department to return my phone calls after 8 attempts, I even called their sales department and general manager and nobody would return my calls or emails. So I called Gresham Subaru and what a DIFFERENCE!!!! I spoke to an actual person and Everyone was so helpful and I got my recall scheduled. Even though the drive is longer for me, it is worth it and I plan on getting my car serviced at Gresham Subaru. Also my near future new Subaru will be made at Gresham! Thank you Gresham Subaru for treating your customers right. Lithia Subaru needs to take lessons from you on how to treat their customers!!!!!

I was lied to about the status of a used car I bought as is. A few months later the engine failed and I brought it to another Subaru dealership and had documentation that the car I bought needed thousands of dollars of repairs weeks before I bought it from Gresham Subaru. When I tried contacting the dealership to talk about it, the general manager Jake Pratt was a jackass over the phone and told me he wouldn’t help and to leave him alone.Someone I know also said they were given a loaner car from Gresham Subaru and got in an accident in it and the dealership then sold that car to someone claiming no accidents reportedDon’t do business with them unless you want a bunch of legal headaches.

Super sexist experience. Came in with my husband to select my new car. Gave the sales guy the listing I was interested in. Test drove car. Purchased car (husband signed paperwork for his role, and left). Drive car every day.Literally all correspondence for this car comes to my house addressed to my husband, including the letter thanking him for his purchase, and a refund check for a fee. Contacted the company to let them know about this upsetting experience, they completely blew me off. Its 2021, its incredibly offensive to have to have my husband endorse my checks. I wont buy here again.

Update:I’m grateful to update that Gresham Subaru did reach out and did cover the cost to repair/refinish my wheels. Management and the service team have helped assure that measures have been put in place to help prevent potential future damage and a keep a keen eye on quality of work leaving the shop.Original Concern:Part of the perks of buying my car here was they offer complimentary tire changes...but its costing me more money to repair/refinish my wheels than paying for another place to do a less damaging job of simply changing tires. Ill own up to causing curb rash on my own but now for the 2nd year in a row Ive noticed damage to my wheels after a tire change where its not possible for me to have curbed them. The damage is on the very inside part of 2 of my wheels where its impossible for a curb to damage with that kind of scratch pattern. Just be cautious of trusting their service department to care for your wheels. Its quick but far from clean and they will likely damage your wheels.

The service for my crosstrek itself is good. Everything works and they seem to know what theyre talking about. Ive been here 4 times. First time was for a factory recall. Second time was to replace the hybrid battery which wasnt cheap. They gave me a loaner that was not clean and smell pretty horrible. The third time was to drop off the loaner and pick up my car. I waited an hour just to get my car keys back because they literally forgot about me. They gave me a free oil change to compensate which I made the mistake of taking. The fourth time I went in was for the free oil change they gave me for forgetting about me. I had my appointment at 8:30am and got there at 8:20am. I asked how long it would take and they said 30 minutes to 1 hour tops....I waited literally for an hour and 45 minutes and finally asked someone about my oil change and then they said it would be done in about 10 minutes. I didnt get to leave until almost 11 am for a free oil change. Im not going to go here anymore. They seem to forget about me everytime I go there. Im done with them. I wouldnt recommend this place if you can avoid it. They specialize in Subaru and they have certified associates but theyre not the best at service.

I was transferred to the parts department today and Bob picked up!!! I have been checking prices with other smalls shops compared to the dealership. (money is very tight due to covid) I was honest with Bob about this fact. I needed help to determine if the car was worth repairing due to all the quotes I was getting. I found a small shop that gave me a better price than the dealership but I need someones help to determine if that was the direction I wanted to go in. Even though I will not be using the dealership Bob still helped me and even said the smaller shop I was using was an excellent shop and he had full confidence in this shop to take his own car too. Shady. Called in advance for a new car and to ask about a trade in. Reasonable price on a new Subaru. It was the last make, model, and trim in the area. Very pushy salesperson. On the phone he said at 1 point, you ask enough questions. My turn to ask questions. He tried to pressure us into going to the dealership immediately because he said the car would probably be sold that day.We clearly told the salesperson we had a 2005 Honda Civic with about 135k miles to trade in. Salesperson said it would be an asset and he had a customer for it. When we showed up, he wouldnt entertain questions about the trade in. He kept saying dont worry about the trade in because I give you a very good price. The trade in offer was $750 on a piece of paper, but wasnt discussed or negotiated at all. When we asked about it, he convinced us that the car was going to an auction house because it had high miles and that the auction costs $300 or $400. We just wanted to get out of there so we said ok. We had been there for almost 4 hours when he said the sale would take 30-60 minutes.The dealer is now turning around and selling the Civic trade in for $7,999. What a pushy liar! Well never go back there. If I can help it, no one I know will go there either.

My fiance Rosemary just bought a 2021 Crosstrek Sport from Sam and we were super impressed with him. I bought a used car from the dealership yesterday and the whole experience was very controlling. I went in looking for another car and by the end of the deal they showed me a car I didn’t intend on getting. Additionally, everything that I wanted changed and every grievance I expressed was not met with any consideration, they said that it was too late to change anything even when I had not driven off the lot. Today I come to find that the bumper came out of place without any disturbances. I would not recommend shopping with them. The car that I wanted to look at was said to have been “sold” yet when I emailed another member of the team it was said to be in stock. Additionally, the car that I bought is no longer on the website but they car a intended on looking at still is.Worst car buying experience I do not recommend.

My car was totaled so I needed to replace it quickly. Newly widowed, I wasn’t looking forward to the process without my husband as it was one that he enjoyed and I did not. My son has bought several cars from this dealership and highly recommended them . Even tho I was in Eugene I contacted Perry for information and advice. First let me say I hate the car buying process as much as most people.In searching for a specific hybrid car, Gresham Subaru had 2 on the lot so we made an appointment to go and check them out. We were greeted by Lance who was immediately friendly and more than happy to show us the models we came to see. That lead us to checking out the other models and comparing the features, the price and our lifestyle and we went home to ponder and do more research.Although there was no hard sell, lets be honest, car sales folks are there to sell cars. Lance promised if we returned to Gresham Subaru (which is 35 minutes from our home and there are other Subaru dealers closer) that he would get us the car we wanted. I felt Lance followed up just enough, not too much, to stay top of mind, which was perfect.At home the next day, I was checking out available cars headed to them and let Lance know of the one I think I wanted and we set an appointment to visit again, see that specific car and do another test drive.Yep, that was the one. The deal was fair and we didnt spend too much time going back and forth (probably me changing my mind more than anything).Rami helped us through the financing and signing all the documents. He was funny, smart, and explained everything thoroughly.I had to return for add-ons 3 days later - which was today - and the service department (I think his name was Steve) was ready for me and completed the work faster than they quoted (I love a good under promise and over deliver promise)!Lastly today, Hannah helped me figure out the Android Auto app and its working great now!Everyone worked as a team. This dealer is giving Subaru a bad name. Tried to trick me into believing their asking price was the MSRP which is instantly checked on the manufactures website to be 1,800$ over price.Not sure how they have a 4.5 star rating? Not sure what the public expects from a pyramid sales scheme? More dip a twirl than deals. Reducing a markup by offering to cover for the delivery to the dealership. Fudging MSRP numbers in document to give the appearance of a deal.Dont assume corporate strategies are the key to success. Be a neighbor the public can trust not one we question the motives of.Dont pass charges to the person making a large investment. Take your 25 to 35 % profit and be happy. Greed greed greed.

The longer I’ve had my Subaru, which I love, I realize these guys are a bunch of crooks who will try to nickel and dime their clients, literally lie to your face (I can think of 4 incidents, but for the sake of a long review I’m not getting into detail.) and leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere. I will purchase another Subaru again, but not from this lot.

Purchased a brand new 2020 subaru on sunday. finance manager and the sales person that sold me the subaru was so excited hand fives and cheering congrats. scheduled a tint 3days later and getting a call from subaru saying cannot do deal even though was told in financed everything was approved. then trying to sell me a down grade 2018. i will never go back to this subaru location i dislike liars i give this 0 out of 5 stars i had to give one star or else could not post this. now waiting on my money for tint and big payment down on vehicle

Another great car buying experience at Gresham Subaru! Kanoe Kamala was a great help and responded to my request for a test drive immediately. She really was a sweet girl! I gave the review 4 stars because even after getting the car ready and gassed up the driver windshied was filthy inside and they only gave me half a tank! Not cool guys! This is at least my 5th car purchased from Gresham Subaru (new and used over the years) and I wouldnt go anywhere else! (Next time Ill watch for the windshield and gas tank before driving off!) Awesome experience I had just been told that my total bill for replacing my key fob was going to be $260 at a competitors dealership. When I called Gresham up the service man said $67.50 and when I got there they said theres also a recall on your airbag well install for free in about an hour and 40 minutes. About 35 minutes later they had the airbag installed and my $34.95 key fob programmed and they charged me $67.50! They were friendly and helpful in fact the parts counter spent about 15 minutes with me getting some unrelated parts for my car. I was very impressed.

The sales agent overpromised and very much under delivered. He was kind during the test drive and pointed out all the features, hence the one star. When it came to negotiating, he would not budge. His boss and he himself told use there was no way we could get you that monthly payment and suggested we lease or look at a used car...that was annoying and offensive.It was not until we find another deal at a different dealership when he decided to lower his price by a lot AND reduce the APR percentage...this was after he said there was no way we could do that during our visit.I also felt like he was pushy and wouldnt let me talk.Do your research beforehand.

As always, Gresham Subaru is the best of the best! I drive from Vancouver to Gresham to have all my service done there. This is my 2nd Subaru with them. I used to live in Gresham so I know they are organized and fast in getting your car in working order. If they find something that needs fixing they explain what needs to be done and an approximate cost so you arent shocked when you check out. Everyone is friendly and professional and once your car is done they wash it. Love these guys...and gals!

It started off as a girls trip and we ended up here and all I can say is that we had a wonderful experience! My aunt got the car she wanted for a really good price. I would recommend coming here for a car. They have new and used cars. Ask for Beshara Shahin, he explained everything really well to us and he was just great! Overall, if you need a new car, come here for a great deal!
