Will never go back! After getting my truck serviced it smelled like a 1980 pool hall. Someone smoked in my truck during test drive! Never again will I go back. Its been three days and I still have a strong smoke smell in my truck!!! Cant believe they would do that.....

I have lways gotten good service and they never try to charge me for additional things I dont need. Very transparent once diagnosed about cost of parts and labor before doing the work.

Always have had a good experience there! Very nice people, very honest. Will not say you need a new part unless the car actually needs it.I had an emissions sensor that was bad. He was good at explaining what the sensors do and why its not a big deal if this isnt replaced. (upstream sensors can make you use more gas than needed, downstream sensors just measure what needs to be filtered out). So basically dont drive in California. Other places would have replaced it without explaining it or calling me to ask about replacing it.The other things they replaced were rotary disk and a bearing. They always call before doing the work to let you know the estimate and to make sure you are aware. He always shows me the bad part and explains how you can tell the part is bad and what it is supposed to look like.Always take it over there before I head to school (12 hour drive). I have an 2006 vehicle, so someone looking it over before I leave is a good idea.Good people. I dont get the feeling of being talked down to like I do from other places.

Im 39 and quit working on my own cars when I was mid 20s. Of all those mechanics I used in the the last 750,000mls as a serviceman, I have been so pleased with there honesty at smallest of issues and there low rates for the biggest of issues. Use them!

I recently moved to Greenwood from Muncie and was having an issue with my steering wheel catching on my 01 Dodge Ram 1500. I typically do most all the repairs on my truck, but didnt have the time to figure out what was wrong. So after spending about an hour researching online looking for auto service shops and reading the reviews Debauns Auto Service, my conclusion was they seemed to be an honest shop. So I took my truck in and they told me they would call me to let know what they found (I also asked that they would). Next day they called me stating I had a bad u-joint in my front right hub assembly which was causing the catching. I gave them the go ahead to fix it and they gave me an estimate of $250-$300. The following day they had it fixed and told me the cost would only be $186 (great surprise! Haha) as they gave me more of a worse case scenario cost I believe. I went in and picked it up, they showed me the bad u-joint that came off the truck and it was definitely shot. I appreciated the fact they showed me the bad part. I highly recommend Debauns as they are honest and trustworthy! If I have any more future problems with my truck that I cannot fix, I will be taking it to them.

This place is awesome! I had an issue with my driver door and it wouldn’t open. Went to a place before DeBauns and was told it’ll cost me 300 and they won’t be able to see me until 3 days later. At DeBauns the guy looked at my car for a couple minutes and fixed it on the spot free of charge!

This is the type of Auto Repair shop you wish every one was like. Very honest, straightforward, accurate estimates, only fix what needs to be fixed, very reasonable and always a quick turnaround. Been going to them for many years and I could not be happier than I am with them as my mechanic.

These guys are so helpful. They give it to ya straight, are careful to explain what work is done, and dont do anything thats unnecessary. They even reinflated and reseated the wheels for our wheelbarrow at no charge. I cant say enough good things about this business.
