Not willing to work with customer or make them feel comfortable about there auto trouble

Took my Grand Wagoneer to these guys to have them rebuild/tune my carburetor a while back. They rebuilt it and gave it back to me in a timely manner for what seemed a fair price at the time (roughly $350). When I went to drive it to work the next day it wouldnt stay running. Due to work and such I was unable to bring it back to them in their warranty time frame so when I did get the chance to bring it by, they charged me another ~$150. They replaced some parts and I drove it home a few days later. Then again, the next day it cut off on me while driving and would have a hard time starting up so I took it to them again. They held onto it for a while to drive it around and called me later telling me there was nothing they could do without charging me an open amount in diagnostic fees. To this day it has an extremely hard time starting and runs like rough. None of these problems existed before they worked on it. The guy I mainly dealt with was nice and interesting to talk to but I cannot recommend them to anyone looking to have a better running vehicle...

Ive never been here but I was referred here by a friend for a buddy of mine that was having issues with a new AVS2 carb on his F100. They got him in quick and got it tuned in by the next day for him to pick it up. Great service and will definitely try to stop by when Im in the area.

Took a little longer than expected cost more than qoute too but carb runs well on big block so still cheaper than a new one so overall good

Good people great work very happy with my carburetor was quoted 310 and that was right on the money they quoted me it to be done Wednesday and actually got it done a day early

Awesome guy, but when I put my carburetor on after the rebuild for the first time my truck kept cutting off. Got it towed to a shop and found out it was pouring out gas from the side where a gasket wasn’t installed correctly. Could’ve been a very costly and/or deadly mistake if it would’ve caught fire.Just to update; Eric tried making it right by picking up my carburetor, fixing the issue, and the returning it. The issue is that it is still leaking. I gave him a call for him to tell me he doesn’t like fooling with demon carburetors and there is nothing he can do. Doesn’t sound like guaranteed work to me. I specifically asked this guy if he knows much about demon and would there be an issue with him rebuilding it before I let him attempt to fix it. Let alone I was quoted $220 over the phone and when I picked it up, it jumped to $260. That money could’ve easily went toward a new carburetor of which I still have to purchase a new one now. Not cool, and a very unprofessional response. Steer clear of this business

I had my 1956 Cadillac Carter carburetor sent here by a transmission shop who suggested them. I live out of state, and was planning on shipping off my carburetor to be refurbished and have gotten quotes from $240-350. Being that the transmission shop had the car and recommended Carb Shop I had it sent there. I paid over the phone and that was that. When I received my car back the carburetor base was rusty and Im having difficulty getting it to idle. I was under the assumption for the $260 I was charged, that was the price to refurbish the carburetor like new, including zinc coating or various plating that the other quotes I received included. What I actually got was the carburetor cleaned and a $50 rebuild kit installed. When I called, I was rudely told it was absolutely ridiculous I made that assumption and if I mail it back theyll double check that the carburetor works and spray some black paint on it. If you think Im lying, Google 1956 Carter wcfb refurbishing services and you can see the prices and whats included. If Eric the owner took a minute to explain to me his side of things rather than get an immediate attitude with me, I might continue to use his business. But now, I wont, and my customers wont either.

Eric (owner) is so dedicated to his work. He obviously has years of experience that you can tell just by talking to him. What I like best about CarbShop is the honesty. If there’s something wrong with a car and it’s something out of his field, he will be honest with you and let you know if a different shop that will take great care of you. 5 stars fully earned.

I got my 1966 Mustangs carburetor rebuilt from these guys and they did an amazing job. They cleaned every metal surface, replaced all the gaskets, replace the fasteners and it ran perfectly. Im extremely thankful for the work they did. The price was more than fair for the work done. Im very glad to get my stang on the road again.

Dropped off a carb for a buick v8. The owner was awesome, he was nice and rebuilt the carburetor fast (within 3 days). I installed it on my jeep and it fired right up. They have my business for life!
