The technicians always professional, clean and knowledgeable. It’s tough to imagine that they could improve with a merger and creation of Preferred Choice but they did. We’ve used them for many different projects from commercial to residential and they never fail to exceed expectations. Great service. Great communication. Knowledgeable staff.

I have used Preferred three times and I just signed up for their yearly maintenance BECAUSE all 3 of the technicians were so polite and knowledgeable. Eric was my technician this past time and he is so personal, professional and knowledgeable. I am asking for him everytime! The staff in the the office is very positive on the phone and they call in advance to let you know if the schedule changes slightly.

Hiring Preferred is the right choice. From your initial contact with scheduling, to sales, maintenance and install they are professionals all the way. They replaced our upstairs hvac, provided portable AC units to keep us comfortable until the install could be completed. We had 5 other quotes for this work, but Preferred was the only one willing to listen and ask the right questions. I can’t say enough about the good work Travis did for us. When it comes time to replace our downstairs unit I won’t call anyone else and until then all maintenance goes through Preferred. Would give 5+ stars! Keep up the good work.

These guys are great. You receive all the details with a follow up e-mail for each proposal. All questions are answered up front (Travis is wonderful explaining the details). Install is Scheduled well in advance. The team arrives and takes care of business leaving no trace behind other than a new, top notch system. All members of the team present themselves as the pros they are. And they even follow up to ensure everything is right. The biggest question: yes, I would use them again.

Bought an older home in Greer 10 months ago and figured it was about time to figure out the status of my HVAC. First, the office was helpful and friendly and quoted me what I felt was a fair price. Marty arrived as scheduled and was very friendly and helpful and neat. He checked over everything and gave me a clean bill of health. He noted that the filters had a bit of life left in them and didnt try to up-sell me new $50 filters. I will definitely use Preferred Choice again and would recommend them to friends and neighbors. Preferred Choices office personnel were polite and kept me informed of schedules and required paperwork. They provided a competitive quote on a top-quality system and their technicians worked diligently to get it installed and to tweak the system to the point that it met standards. This required followup work that they accomplished without being asked to do so. The system is functioning as promised and my house is more comfortable than with the old failed system. I recommend them highly.

We had a great experience with Preferred Choice. Our upstairs AC was about 30 years old when it went out, so we decided to replace it and the furnace. Preferred Choice sent Travis out to our house within a few days. He was very patient, courteous, and helpful. He spent a great deal of time discussing our options and helping us pick out the best unit for our home. The installation went smoothly and we are thrilled to have such a quiet and efficient Trane unit! I cannot recommend Preferred Choice highly enough.The company jumped through hoops to schedule our installation during the holidays. The crew was here on Monday before Christmas on Wednesday and had the heat running for the downstairs by the end of the day. After Christmas, they returned and had the AC downstairs running on Thursday. The following week, Preferred Choice installed a second HVAC unit in our attic and we did not miss a day of heat. Their installers went above and beyond by increasing the return pipe size and a filter at the downstairs unit. These things were done of their own volition. Thats right, not part of the original contract but done anyway to make things right. The price was more than competitive too. You will not find that kind of customer centric dedication often, but you will assuredly find it here.They also helped set up excellent financing for our job.Kudos to the entire team at Preferred Heating and Air... from the estimator to the owner of the company who showed up to be sure everything was right.It is a year later and we had a problem. Water had frozen in a drain line and had backed up to trip an overflow switch inside. I had found the condition but did not know how to reset the switch. Their tech, who was obviously sick, called an lead me through the process. This guy probably had Covid and called to help anyway. This is WAY above and beyond in service.You cannot go wrong with this company!!

Moss Heating and Air is great. I am a member of the clergy and they did work at our House of Worship last summer. We just recently hired them again to replace the HVAC unit in my residence. Read reviews and they were good so I decided to have them come look at my system. A gentleman came out and looked at my system and told me I had a bad damper. I paid the $75 charge for a call and got a quote from them to replace the damper. When the second gentleman came out (different guy) he told me the damper wasn’t broken, the wing nuts were just loose. They still charged me $60 for a “miscellaneous” repair. So I paid $135 for them to tighten a wing nut.Only reason I gave 2 stars was because their employees were so nice.Won’t be getting them to install my second system when I get one this summer.

I got three estimates to replace my worn-out HVAC system. Im so happy I chose Preferred Choice Heating and Air, Inc. for the job.Bradley gave us a fair estimate for the work and addressed all our issues. JR and Brent came at the scheduled time and completed the job quickly and efficiently (less than three days). They cleaned up after the installation and we are very satisfied with our new HVAC system. They have followed up to make sure we are pleased with their work and that the system is operating perfectly. We will continue to call Preferred Choice for our HVAC maintenance and you should too.

After getting quotes from six different HVAC contractors, we realized we had a complicated HVAC problem. Our condo has a very small space above the ceiling for the air handler, and everyone had a different opinion about how to fix our system (our HVAC wasnt keeping up in the summer months). To give you an idea: some contractors wanted to rip out our ceiling and remove all the bathroom plumbing before they would even begin installation.We ended up choosing Preferred Choice because Bradley went out of his way to research all of our options, answered questions promptly every time we asked and explained his reasoning very thoroughly. Unlike some of the other contractors we tried, Bradley clearly knew what he was talking about. In fact, one of the contractors who quoted our job swore that we had a 2.5-ton unit already, until we called the manufacturer to confirm what we already knew—it was a 1.5-ton unit.Bradley didnt upsell us on a system that wouldnt have benefitted us, and he listened to what we wanted and what we didnt want (no mini split on the wall, etc.). In the end, Bradley gave us a quote for the same Trane unit that was going to cost about $2,000 more if we had used that contractor.When it came to installation day, Bradley was early and handled everything, including blocking off parking spaces for the crane we needed to lift the HVAC unit to the roof. Inside, Brent and Josh did a phenomenal job of making sure that they didnt damage *anything.* That bathroom has wallpaper, and it looks as good as the day they arrived. They installed a new vent, a new return and a new air handler/fan coil, and they cleaned up perfectly. They used protective shoe covers in the house, laid down floor covers, and worked quietly and efficiently.We couldnt be happier with how everything turned out, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Preferred Choice. When we have to replace our other HVAC unit, theyll be our first call.

Outstanding top notch service and very professional. I had over a handful of HVAC guys come out and Tom was the only one respectful enough to not wear shoes on my carpet at all times.
