Technician came quickly! I needed after hours services and he was here within an hour of my request. He was very professional, respectful and focused on getting the job done. It didn’t take him long at all to fix the issue. He even double checked to make sure everything was running correctly and made sure that my family was pleased and comfortable with the service performed. We just had our End of Warranty service completed, and are very pleased with J & J Mechanical. A few weeks ago we received a letter reminding us that it was time to perform the End of Warranty service. I called and spoke with Paula at J & J, who promptly scheduled our service in a very timely manner. Today, Anthony, the technician, arrived at our home at the scheduled time and proceeded to complete the service. He was very polite and professional. He answered all of my questions, tolerated an inquisitive 4 year old, and even gave our dog some attention.Our HVAC is almost 1 year old, so we have not required any repairs or maintenance issues, but I feel that in the future we will be able to confidently rely on J & J Mechanical for all of our heating and air conditioning needs.

My AC stopped working late last night. I called J&J and and spoke with the secretary. She was so professional and understanding. I then received a call from Joseph only 10 minutes later. Have had J & J Mechanical for many years. They provide excellent, expedient service. They came Sunday evening when our furnace went down to find a burned out motor. Came back @9:00 am on Monday with a new replacement motor and we had heat back on by 10:00 am. 2 men arrived on time to replace my unit. They laid down runners throughout my house. It took 4-5 hours as they predicted. Then Bill arrived as they were finishing up, to set up the unit to begin running. He answered all my questions, and explained the new thermostat to my satisfaction. All in all, a good experience.

I called J & J Mechanical because they offered 24 hour service. I had come home from work to find my house hot which is unusual. I checked the thermostat and found it set higher than normal, so I turned it back to 80 degrees. My friend stopped and told me to check to see if the fan was turning on the outdoor unit. It was not so I immediately shut the system down. She found J & J Mechanical online and I called. I spoke with Misty and she said she would have Joseph the technician call me. Joseph called about an hour later and explained he had another stop to make in Greenville NC before he could come to check my unit. Joseph arrived approximately around 9 or 9:30 pm. Joseph diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Now, I know I have an antique outdoor a/c unit, but this is the first time in 7 years that Ive had a problem. Joseph was extremely helpful, nice, polite, and professional! I couldnt have asked for a better technician that night! I will recommend J & J Mechanical to anyone needing assistance with a/c or hvac. Our air conditioner wasnt working. Call J&J at 8am. They came shortly after that. The compressor was broken. Our unit is 17 years old. We decided to buy another a.c. We had our AC go out at 8pm on Friday and a tech was here by 9pm. While the service was prompt, it did not solve the problem. The unit went down again less than 12 hours later.I received a call from the service manager today. He explained what was going on and went out of his way to make it right. The installers arrived about 10 minutes early and worked all day. They were polite, covered their shoes each time they came in the house, and explained the new system when they left.9.21.18 Update. AC stopped working and called for service, despite having a flooded office the repair was completed the next day. The technician, Anthony, was very polite and efficient. I am very pleased with the service and plan to continue using them.

J&J Mechanical was great! My wife and I recently purchased a new home and the AC stopped blowing air. I contacted J&J during regular business hours on a Friday and was able to get a technician out to my house within 45 minutes. Austin, the technician, diagnosed the problem promptly and ordered the new blower motor. It was rush-shipped over the weekend and installed on Tuesday. Been having problems with my HVAC unit that was installed by J&J since moving into my new home. I have had them to the house several times for issues on the unit not working properly. Each time the story was the same of it is working correctly and nothing is wrong. Well, the problem came again this morning waking up to it being 50 degrees in my home and the unit being covered in ice. I did the normal routine that I was told by J&J technician of thawing the unit out with warm water and it kicked back in with hot air. After reading several articles I knew something was not right. I called J&J at 9am and left a message with their call center. (I guess they are too big to have someone on site answer their phone). I was told they would return my call. I called back at 10am and got the call center again. This lady told me that she could not see that I had called in at all. Great. So, she sent it in as an emergency at 10am for a return call. It is now 2pm and I have not heard from them yet. I called another company at 11am. They had someone at my home at 1pm. Diagnosed the issue, of defrost sensors not functioning properly and getting everything fixed. I guess J&J has gotten too big to handle all of their business and take care of their customers. Well, at least they will not have to worry about this one anymore.

I called J & J because of a noise I have been hearing recently with our upstairs heat pump whenever it shuts off. The scheduler arranged for Ty H. to come out late today. I was impressed with the quick scheduling and a call from the office and from Ty when he was on the way. Ty quickly diagnosed the problem and solved it quickly by adjusting the frame around the filters so that they would not fall when the unit shuts down. He also found a problem with the float switch in the pan which kept the unit from running again. Once he did that all worked properly. I was very positively impressed with Tys service and also the invoice he created and emailed to me before he left! I have a very positive impression of Ty and J & J and the way they do business.
