ALWAYS VERY BUSY. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. FRIENDLY. If you have patience its not bad. I can see the experience can be a hit or miss. The first come first serve can be VERY frustrating but imagine its less they have to keep up with. My recent experience with my daughter was upsetting. My daughter took her vehicle to be serviced yesterday morning 830a/9a. We dropped it off since we had much to do surely thinking it would be at least done that day by 5pm before they close. Well 4pm she was told he has been busy but he just looked at it but hadnt eaten for lunch and has another car ahead of her and asked could she come back first thing Monday and he would pull hers first. They opened at 8 we get there like 810a and now she is told 2 cars got there before her and he will get to it between 12p-2p. I get its first come first serve but I am upset because she already had her car up there all day and it still didnt get looked at till close to closing & still didnt complete. Doing things like this makes things messy. He is sweet as can be but he should have said be here 730a...or I will pull the next car. I mean but I was hoping for a little common courtesy from how things went yesterday. They wont hurt from me pulling my business. I am thankful for the work they do and they are awesome but timing is a mess and being serviced day of is not guaranteed. I have only been there once. My daughter a few times but I will be ensuring we secure another mechanic. At least if you schedule it may take a few hours but its serviced that day vs...being told after leaving it to bring it back and it didnt seem like a priority when she took it back for the 2nd time. When people bring there care they should just be told up front they cant get to it that day so the consumer can make the decision to leave the car or just pick another day.

After visiting four or five tire shops in town to get quotes on a new set of tires including Walmart I ended up stopping in here at Greens discount tire. Im so glad that I did. They beat even Walmarts price and I was in and out with a new set of tires in less than 45 minutes. They were quite busy too so I was extremely happy. I would recommend them to anyone. They will now be our go-to going forward.

I have been going to Greens discount tire and Auto for about almost 17 years. I loved it I go there and will always go there. They have always helped me out with discounts on my tires mechanical work and it has been excellent! I have not had the first problem after they fixed anything on my car.

I came to this place to only get a tire plugged. They acted as if they did not want to help me first off. They had pulled cars in and out and still didn’t acknowledge me. Unprofessional, not helpful at all. I definitely would not respond. I am a business owner and would never give my customers this level of service.

Simple and easy. The invoice after service is minimal and clean. Without all the busy extras that dont pertain to what the is being done to the vehicle.I have had bad luck with tires. Drive a lot, and get a nail etc. Keep replacing one tire at a time thinking its a one time deal or wont have an occurrence for awhile. Ive had at least three (non-patchable fixes) replaced at other places in the last year lol. After another nail in a tire I already had replaced other . Greens replaced all 4 of my tires for a fair price. Hopefully this will be a good omen! And keep yall nails off the road folks!

Great tires! But had a front end alignment thats still not aligned. Called them up to tell me that my car was the problem. Even the steering wheel isnt straight anymore. Pulling to the right even worse now! Thanks!

My husband gets all of our new tires here. He buys used, but theyre always in excellent condition, with lots of tread. Once, we had a tire that wouldnt hold air - it had an extremely slow leak. We drove the car back up there, and they replaced it. No questions asked. These people are so nice and very helpful. Theyve got our business for good!

Ive been here twice. My first experience was a good one. Friendly & fast service, well within my budget. Today, I found myself in a bad situation. The store closes at 5pm. Excellent customer service!!! I showed up 30 min to closing in a pinch with a nail in my tire and not only were they able to squeeze me in to patch the tire, they also checked the pressure in the other 3 tires and filled them up for me. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Mechanics were very helpful when I had issues with tire studs on my vehicle. Price for tires was great! Ill be coming back!Update: One of the new tires I purchased from here had a leaking valve stem. One of the mechanics, Donald, had the problem diagnosed and replaced in fifteen minutes. I work night shift as well, so I was waiting on them to open before any employees arrived. Even still, everyone was nice and friendly before theyd even set their things down. Ill be recommending this business to others!

Bad customer service would not recommend very sexist.

The prices were good but the service sucked. They were very slow and the guy acted like he didn’t want to help me. I was just getting a used tire put on and my spare taken off. He did not even put my spare back in my trunk. If you just need something cheap, I may would go by there but otherwise go somewhere else.

The tread of my tire popped while I was driving, and Green’s was the closest place. The mechanic was great and Green was a pleasure to talk to. This is a place I would definitely recommend!

This is the ONLY place I use for anything tire related. I have used them for over 15 years and have always been satisfied. It also doesnt hurt that the owner is a Clemson fan.

I called the number listed, they said Hello and nothing more. I asked is this Tonys Tires and he said no you got the wrong number then hung up as I tried to verify the number with him. Either the number has changed, or the person answering the phone doesnt care to work. I double checked that I dialed correctly, and even used the link from the number listed on google to ensure it was indeed correct.

Got a tire from them and explained I was going to Florida and I had a blow out at 2am( in the middle of nowhere on 95) luckily we were able to gain control of the car and pulled over! Since all my tires were new, I wanted a new one, the gentleman recommended a used tire, I was hesitant, he insisted that the used tire was good and would be reliable. I got this tire two weeks ago and returned back to the place and explained the the car was pulling to the right, which was the tire that I just got replaced. They recommend a alignment and never looked at the tire. It is now 2:51 am and I’m driving on a donut and have 2 hours left to get to my destination in Florida, I’m very disappointed and sad to say I will not go back, I am a big supporter of always giving support to local businesses, this is one I will not recommend

Ive known Mr Green for approximately 5 years now, and after 4 sets of tires, etc. I have nothing but praise for mr. Green and his staff.In January they aligned the rear of my sons BMW 5 series....a difficult task....I checked the tires this morning and theyre wearing perfectly even..... thanks again, Doug!!!!

Great service. They go above and beyond. Was at the Qt across the street and car would not start due to battery cables. One of their technicians came over and replaced battery cables on the spot. Only cost me $20 and saved me a tow.

And all the other reviews on this side mention the lady at the front desk being rude shes not rude she just doesnt deal well with ignorance. The woman at the front counter needs to learn manners and how to treat people. I didn’t appreciate being laughed at when I got there at 10:30 on Saturday morning after just coming from getting my tires put on and then needed an alignment. I had called ahead the day before as well as on my way. She laughed in my face and informed me not today you aren’t. What kind of business owner hires an employee that gives the store a bad reputation on how customer service is done. News flash-she’s not helping you keep customers! It’s funny that all the other reviews that mentioned her had the same impression that I did. If this place has a woman at the front handling customers in such a trashy way, it really gives you an insight into how they are going to do their work on your vehicle. And based on reviews I’ve read from people having their work done here, that is correct. I’m so glad she laughed in my face and I had to leave. My boyfriend recommended that we go to Express on Woodruff Rd. He said he’s never had a bad experience there and that is where we went. The woman who was at the front there was incredible and helpful. Oh and shocker she didn’t laugh in my face. And guess what they got me in at 11 on a Saturday and had me out within an hour. And not to mention the people working there and the facility itself were way cleaner. So thanks to the woman who lacks any human attributes and thinks she is someone important and can laugh in people’s faces. I think you saved me from making a huge mistake on having my car worked on here. One star was being generous. This place deserves no stars.

Said the job would take 2hrs, dropped my car off and waited 2hrs just for them to tell me they couldn’t do it. 20mins later I went to another shop and got it done in 30minutes

This place was awesome! Need a tire and they sold me a used one. But the service guy was overly kind and end the conversation with have a blessed day. I went back and bought four new tires later that day and they credited me for the used tire sold earlier. Truly a class act bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a brand new set of Michelin tires for my 2011 Tahoe. I called around to a few tire stores to compare prices and Greens was the best. I felt comfortable at Greens because the shop owner was the one who answered all my questions and took the time to make sure I was putting the right tires on my car.The service was done quickly and I even got a follow up call the week after to make sure everything was performing the way it should. Driving from Atlanta to North Carolina and felt the car steering wheel shake so we pulled over and checked it. Googled tire shop and Green’s Discount Tire & Auto came up. Stopped by there and the mechanic and staff came outside and checked. He offered to balance and rotate our tires and noticed a separation in one tire. He found a tire and put it on in no time. Very nice staff. Would highly recommend them to everyone. They also offered us some South Carolina peaches! That’s a win, win for us!

Driving from Connecticut to Georgia for a wedding and realized my front tires were so worn from a BAD alignment and were not going to get to our destination let alone get home. Called as soon as they opened and were able to get us in immediately. Set us up with two used tires and corrected our terrible alignment. Cant thank them enough!

Great, fast service and some really genuine folks. Started off with my order not being found, but they tracked it and got me in pretty fast and kept me from doing an unnecessary wheel alignment, that another shop (whom i wont name) told me i needed.

On top of waiting forever to then receive terrible service from rude people, the owner then claims to have no knowledge of who I am! Well, I guess you dont know who I am after I was ignored for nearly an hour waiting on service I never received. The tires here are not discount and not quality. Save yourself the trouble and the frustration and just go to a bigger place that has the ability to serve customers and treat them like they matter!

Saved a bundle and had quick and helpful service. I had to turn in a leased vehicle and after the inspection was told i would be charged an exorbitant fee to replace one of the tires that they said the tire tread was too low. So i called two tire stores one of which was Greens Discount Tire. The other store only sold new tires. I spoke with Doug and explained my situation and he said he has new and used tires and can order something if he doesnt have it. He also said he has 95% of quality used tires that people need. The tire i needed was very specific and needed to match the other four exactly. He put me on a brief hold and when he came back on the line, said today was my lucky day, he had exactly what i needed and saved me a lot of money. I am so grateful i took the time to call him. Make sure you take the time to call him too, you will be glad you did.

Terrible customer service. Doug and DJ could not have been any more rude. Dropped my car off at 930am for an alignment (that they didn’t do correctly the week before). Took over 7 hours to get it done because they handle the walk-ins before before the customers that make appointment. Please someone explain how that makes sense....

Great price for some used tired. Service was sharp and fast enough but they forgot one lug nut. I had to turn around and go back to get it.

I went and had to get a tire fixed and the guy on the phone said they had two tires of my size when I get there they only had one tire its in great shape little high for the price for a used tire but overall good friendly people I will be going back to Greens Discount Tire.

The customer service is great! reason why they got a one star, but if I could give them minus 5 stars based on the quality of their work I would. I took my car there, to get tires installed balanced and aligned, when I took the car the alignment was ok, car didnt pull to any side really, and the steering wheel didnt vibrate at all. When they got through with the car, it pulled to the right, hard enough that i could switch lanes without touching my steering wheel, and the steering wheels vibrates really bad pretty much at any speed, all indicators of a bad balancing job and a poor alignment. I had to take the car back for them to check it, they replaced one of the weights on one tire that had fallen off (go figure) also come to find out they used clamp on weights on my rims, even though my rims have low profile tires, which calls for glue on weights. I work in the automotive industry, and I can tell you for a fact they alignment and the balancing was done incorrectly, My car still to this day pulls to the right, and the steering wheel vibrates so hard its a pain in the butt to drive my car. When I called them to have them fix it, I was told they couldnt fix it, and I need it to take my car somewhere else, no refund no apology nothing. They are cheap compared to other places, but you get what you pay for.

I bought a tire for the rear of my van and 9 days later the tread was separating from the tire. I was told twice by to other tire companys that it was a recap. I talked to them about replacing the tire but was told that since it was over 7 days that I bought the tire they could not replace. So buy at your own risk. I will not be going back.

Normally I go to Discount Tire but this time I was trying to save a few dollars. I have purchased six tires this year in 2016 alone from this place this past year. Three days ago I purchased two new tires but, the tire blew out while I was driving left me stranded on the highway. I brought the tire back into these people and they refused to replace it said that it was my fault, it was literally three days ago theyre telling me that the warranty is doesntcover my tire. I have purchased 6 tires from them in just one year, and they were all faulty. Came to realization that their tires arent really New.
