One of the worst experiences I have ever had! Went in for a repair on a belt to go a mile down the road and it to snap off, to come back wait 3 hours for a part delivery to have the service done again for it to snap off a month later. After the second service failing I went to another mechanic for the repair to be told they used the wrong sized belt for my vehicle. Went back to Pugh’s to discuss the situation and request a refund to not only wait another hour and a half to be told “sorry this conversation has ended” 10/10 would not recommend Pugh’s tire and service centers to anyone looking to have any service done correctly or fairly priced.

Had my van inspected and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Extremely efficient too. I was out faster than I expected.

This is how they “fixed” my window, with tape and a wooden wedge??? They were also going to charge me a total of $400 to fix the regulator/motor. Got it fixed at less than half the price elsewhere. Sad service.

I called at 7:23 am Saturday morning 12/19/29, to ask questions about a diagnostic appointment, the agent informed me if my check engine light wasnt on, I could come in for a $40 pre trip inspection on my vehicle and to arrive before 12:00pm. I arrive at 9:23am. I come outside to make a phone call. 2 employees came outside talking while I was outside on the phone. 10.08am, Cedric greets me and informs me that hell complete my pre trip inspection. 10:21am, Cedric parks my work truck. Cedric holds the door open for me. Harrison explains my minor issues. The next morning, there were 2 broken eggs in my front yard. Will I return? Can you order ice water in Hell?

I’m not one to normally leave reviews as I understand every place has good days and bad days BUT this was my third time leaving my car for an oil change and it not being ready at an agreed upon time of day. I called to make an appointment the day before but asked if I could drop my car off in the morning (so I was told yes drop it off, no appointment needed) and pick it up at 1, the other two times I asked to make sure it was ready by the end of the day (so they had the car from 7:45 or 8 through 5pm) Each time my car has not been done yet and I’ve had to wait or come back later to pick it up. When I asked this time if there was a better way for me to guarantee a timely pick up I was told that they don’t make appointments, it’s first come first serve, some cars are left overnight to be done in the morning and if I wanted to bring my car and wait with it they would get to it sooner since they don’t want you to have to wait in the building for long. So therefore- if you have the time to come in and wait for your car it will be done right away skipping the other cars that were dropped off. I am disappointed to have to take my business elsewhere, but I, like many working people, don’t have time to sit and wait for my car when I bring it nor do I have time to come and pick it up just to have to wait another 30-45 minutes for them to finally get to it. Leaving it for a full day should be ample time to get to a car for a simple oil change.

Friendly service and the facilities were accommodating. Beware that for a flat tire repair, just one small nail, cost $25 and it took 39 minutes to have my car from the parking lot and to have it done. Bear in mind that a new tire, sold by them retails at $59, so, for almost half the price for a repair, I could had a new one. The prices for a Synthetic oil on a 4 cylinder were just outrageous. Ill definitely will take my car to another place. Oh and by the way, my car was turn in to me with a hard smokers smell and I dont smoke so you can imagine my disgust. I went in due to the low pressure light.*Update 3/18 - I still have my low pressure tire light on. Bet its because they didnt inflate the tire properly nor check the others tire pressure, for $25 they should check even the spare tire.

Was quoted one hour for a new tire but ended up waiting over 4 hours. When I asked how much longer, a staff member replied with next week before returning to their other work. Would have rather had a honest estimate than waste my whole afternoon waiting.

Bad experience, waited a long time with appointment and Waited 2 hours then the guy told me they were going to lunch and had to wait even longer. They didn’t even move my car.

Im not one that likes to write a review but Pughs of Greenville Blvd for the second time cannot be trusted to good. They give all mechanics and bad name in the business.

I have taken my car in here 3-4 times while I’ve been a student...They’re nice people that fix my car without trying to sell me a bunch of stuff, and they charge a reasonable enough price each time. The only complaint I’d have is most times I have to call them to learn that typically my car has been done and ready for a while, I wish they would call me right when they finish it.

I took my Corolla to them to get my suspension fixed, only to be told they wont fix it...THEY WONT FIX IT....AN AUTO REPAIR SHOP!!and I need to take it to who ever had been working on it. My co workers warned me that if youre not doing something as simple as buying tires from them or getting an oil change they dont want to do the job....This is what I get for not listening.

Everytime I go and get an oil change from Tyler. He always treats me with such respect and professionalism. The last time I went I was greeted by Parker and got an oil change and two new tires. I asked for Tyler. I had to wait for him to finish the car he was working on. I feel like he took no time to get my car done and ready. The shop was clean to be a mechanic shop. He did an awesome job.

I don’t know where you get your customer service people from but, they are superb! I took my Volvo in on Monday to have an alignment. As I suspected, I had a bent rim. Within a few hours, my rim was fixed and I was on my way!! My Mom, God rest her soul, always told me Pugh’s was THE best in Greenville. She was right! Thank you SO much!

We take all of our vehicles and horse trailer here! These guys always do a great job. Pricing is fair based on service delivered. I never wonder whether something was completed correctly, which is a hard thing to earn.

If you need new tires they have the best prices in town. Theyre polite, knowledgeable, and not rude like a lot of the other shops around here. Routine maintenance can be handled by them as well, I would highly recommend.

I dont even know where to start my son is attending ECU hes more than 4 hours away from me so when theres car trouble and you dont know anyone in the area that can be pretty worrisome for a parent . James at Pughs in Greenville by the mall was a lifesaver God sent. I recommend this place not only because of the customer service but the honesty and authentic genuine desire to want to help. Needed a NC Inspection so went here because it was close. Previously lived in a county that did not have emissions requirement so was not concerned that check engine light was ON as it has been since I purchased the vehicle. Technician moved the vehicle from parking lot as I waited. About 15 minutes passed and I was called to the counter thinking the inspection had been done. I was told that the vehicle failed because the check engine light was ON but the charges were $23.75 to tell me the check engine light was ON and I guess for the technician todrive it back and forth to the parking lot. Ill never go to a PUGHs again.

Dropped truck off at 930 said it would be ready by 1230 didnt get truck back till 230. Ridiculous to have to wait this long. Watched kid hit his vape after every step of balancing and putting tires on. Service sucked

I received polite and professional service on my last visit to Pughs tire service! The associate I dealt was Harrison Overby, he explained everything that was wrong with my vehicle in simple terms and was able to have my vehicle completed that same day!

I will never go to pughs tire ever again...So on 3/17 I went to pughs tire for a mount and balance of my 4 wheels which are 22s due to spring was coming in and I wanted to put my wheels back on my car. I also had 2 of the tires /wheels replaced with new ones that I purchased on line. I was charged 67.99 for this service. On 3/24 I went back to get a 4 wheel alignment and an inspection, which I couldnt get an alignment due to i needed lower ball joints and upper control arms. Ok so I went back bought all the parts I needed plus more and had my husband replace them. So upon doing this I told me husband to just simply put my wheels back on my car and when I do go back Ill have new parts and they can just align the car up with the 22 on them..Upon me driving my car back to pughs the following weekend I felt my car pulling worst than ever to the right..and I have had this car since 2010 and had these same wheels for over 4 years and I havent had an issue until the put my rim on the new tires...i went back to them several occasions for an alignment and it was no help. Now I have to go and buy a new rim because they bent my rim. They would not take responsibility for this issue.yes I have a Lexus and no its not new but it was running true and not pulling to the right before they bent my damn rim. .And Robey new damn well he wasnt gonna do anything they are liars and I wont be back to them EVER. DONT TAKE UR CAR HERE IF U DONT WANT TO SPEND EXTRA MONEY CUX THEY WILL JACK SOME STUFF UP AND HAVE YOU PAYING FOR IT. I know my car anf know how it was riding before i took it there. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

I went to get my tired patched (I ran over a nail) and they were gonna charge me $50, which is insane, said it might not work due to the angle I hit it at??? Called three other tire shops around and they ranged in price from $15-25 and said that the angle thing was not true (the nail was in the middle of the tire). Basically they just wanted me to buy a brand new tire from them. Ended up going to another shop and was in and out in 10 minutes! Just a heads up!
