I went in for SNS & a paint for my toes, they charged me $27 just to take paint off of my toes and repaint with regular paint, which took all but 10 minutes to do. I assumed the pricing would be similar to my other salon, so its my fault for not checking the prices. Then I got SNS & it was super rushed, as well as a ton of SNS dust was stuck to my hands afterward. They charged me $80 including tip for all of 30- MAYBE 45 minutes of work. It was super rushed & I have been taken care of better at other salons that are WAY cheaper. Overall I am disappointed that I just spent $80.

This place is amazing. The aromatherapy pedicure and massage was like heaven. My feet have never looked this good.

My 2nd time there, first time was great, not so much today as my feet and toes only got about 1/2 the scrubbing they needed. End of nails unpolished. She said she has worked there 10 years but her touch said she was a beginner. Disappointing.

Ive been going to Friendly Nails for years. I love this place! The staff are all really sweet and the owner always remembers the regulars names! Great pedicures and very reasonable prices, and they have a student discount! Also, with the deluxe pedicure you get wine if you want.

My mother and I have been here for pedicures several times and have usually had a great experience. However, my first manicure with them left me with bloody cuticles and sore fingers from filing. The lady who provided the service was very rough with my nails and fingers. I know having cuticles trimmed isn’t the most pleasant feeling and this is my first manicure in years, so I didn’t say anything. I did mention that the filing was painful. Upon leaving the salon, I realized how bad it was and spent the next hour holding pressure on my fingers and dipping them in hydrogen peroxide. Cutting a finger nail down to the core and filing it with the coarsest file is something I would think a professional manicurist would know not to do. I will not be returning to this salon for a manicure and probably not for a pedicure either.

This salon is a gem. Vivian is top notch -- talented and hard working, she absolutely nailed (no pun intended) my French manicure last week. Landon did the pedicure and his careful attention to detail and friendly personality put a bow on this 5-Star experience. Well done!

I had to go home and pluck out hairs they missed on eyebrows, under chin and a 2 hair on neck under chin. The tech was distracted, in a hurry and borderline rude

I love this place! It always makes me laugh when I choose the ridiculously sparkly polish and they ask me, Are you sure? The judgement is strong and I just find it really funny. They do great work and leave the door open for ventilation. There are plexi glass screens for covid safety and everyone wears their mask properly.

When I came in the manager was very snappy and rude.First off I asked for short nails she made them too short. And instead of taking the tips off she added a lot of acrylic to make them look longer. Then shaped them terribly. She was sweet though. They barely cleaned and it’s a Pandemic!. Then I got the pedi special that includes wine,beer, etc. we asked can we get wine she says they don’t have any! The man that did my feet rushed and didn’t do a good job. !! This was my first And LAST time coming here!!!!!

I am highly disappointed, I went into to get sns today . The nail technician rushed through my nails, and when I asked her if there was a problem she said no . My nails look terrible, they look as if I did not just get them done . Now I have to deal with this until they grow out . I went there maybe 3 weeks ago and everything was fine . It was like as if she did not want to work with me and that is unacceptable . I pay good money and I tip well . I not be returning.

I came to get a full set and a pedicure and the lady I had was a manager I’m assuming and she rushed through the entire time. My pinkie nail ended up crooked, she cut me with the drill and blamed me for it because I was using my phone with my OTHER hand. The nail shapes were not the same and she was very rough with my nails. I had a different lady for my pedicure and she was real sweet and gentle and did a great job. However, I was very unhappy with the service from the manager.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The lady who did my nails was extremely rude and aggressive she acted like if my hand was a toy like its not a real hand she is working on. She had a stank attitude when I asked her to fix my nail which was crooked and looked a hot mess. Near the end she tells me that she put the wrong color on my nails and laughed in my face. I didnt even realize it was the wrong color, on top of her tugging on my hands and almost throwing my hands every time she was done with one hand she cut me with the drill and was reckless as heck with the drill! horrible experience

I had gotten pedicures here plenty of times and always loved it, this time I decided to get a set of nails for the first time. Vivian was amazing and walked me through what would look the best. It was a great experience and I will definitely be getting them done again!

Eh. I really wanted to like this place it’s a close location to my home and I’ve been searching for a good place. I got a young lady for my gel and pedicure. Immediately started drilling on my gel polish and the drill was HOT- very uncomfortable. I decided to get a pedicure since I had to wait for the foils on my nails and I wouldn’t hate my toes matching my nails. I selected a color from one of the palates and pointed at it with my foil finger- maybe that was the issue? My finger was big? So she thought I wanted the crud brown color next to the pretty pink? The pedicure was ok but again boiling hot water and hot stones enough to burn your skin off. I’m not a sissy when it comes to hot people ...and I was snickered at like “sissy” like how is it at all relaxing to have your skin simmer?? So then she starts to paint my nails the crud brown color and asks if I liked the color. I was a bit confused like no that’s not the color I chose. She gets up and brings back 2 nail palates neither of them have the color I picked. So she huffs off and gets more palates and I showed her the pink next to the crud brown color and she says “ok I will try for you” huh? I appreciate the end result the nails look good and the color is perfect but the experience? Terrible. I tipped her well because the result was what I wanted but I am not ever coming back here.

I got my eyebrows waxed and a manicure for only 23$(in cash, discount is you use cash). They were all so nice and funny in there, the atmosphere is very light and comfortable. Really nice selection of polishes, everything they did felt amazing and the wax wasnt too hot at all. the waxing did not hurt me much at all, maybe thats just personal but for reference. definitely will be going back again and again. They also didnt take too long but it wasnt rushed, perfect timing. No complaints at all!

I have been going to Friendly nails twice a month for over two years and I love it. Everyone is very friendly and always gives me exactly what I ask for. They remember details talked about previously and will even comment when theyve seen me at other businesses in the same shopping center. I absolutely recommend them to everyone. They all do a great job!

Wonderful experience with each visit. I never leave unsatisfied. I typically get the herbal pedicure (they have many different types to choose from) soothing and relaxing. Your legs and feet remain feeling good for about a week or two later. Staff welcoming & friendly. Great place! They give you wine and appetizers during your pedicure. I usually got fruit bc I was pregnant when I initially began going. I love love love this place

I’m visiting here from New Orleans and stopped in for a Gel nail manicure ., I had just had great service from a shoe repair shop next door. Good atmosphere and people were pleasant. The owner told me $22.00 for the gel manicure. I was serviced by Mary. She was fast and efficient. At the end she asked if I was paying cash. I noted there was a 5% cash discount posted at the front desk. I said yes, then she said the manicure was $30.00 . I was shocked and explained I was told $22.00 which is about standard. I travel a lot and it ranges from $18 to $25.00. In similar strip mall nail salons. The manicure consisted of water soak, cut cuticles and hand massage with a lotion. Nothing special. Mary insisted their price is $30.00 with cash. With the tip, I ended up paying $35.00 for a basic gel polish manicure. Hopefully it will last. Not sure if I’ll return. I later read reviews and pricing seems to be an issue. Their prices were not posted. Based on reviews, it seems they make up prices as they go along. I think I’ll look for another salon during my stay in Greensboro. Just left Detroit and Chicago and the prices were not this high.

(This is long but PLEASE READ!) My mom and I came here after a great recommendation from a friend and I can honestly say I will never go anywhere else in Greensboro. The staff is so genuinely kind and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. I watched the owner (who also takes customers and does nails herself) walk next door to Jimmy Johns to get a coke for a woman who was having blood sugar problems because they didnt have drinks with enough sugar to help her and also get her some crackers after and continuously check on her afterwards to make sure she was alright. My mom, whos had bad experiences in the past with gel polish got regular polish on her nails and they smudged later that day while we were out. We immediately went back to get them fixed and they were so easy and nice about it. It was free to get the nails fixed, but after talking with the tech about the types of polish my mom ended up trying their gel polish and she only charged us $12.00 to do it which was extremely nice considering most places would charge the price of a full gel set. I saw a lot of comments about people saying to be careful what they charge you and that they try to overcharge, we confirmed the price when we got there and it was the same as over the phone, what people dont pay attention to I think is the price of the upgrade they offer when youre getting a pedicure, it does make the pedicure a little expensive, but it also comes with a nice leg massage (with a scrub and clay mask for your legs) and a large glass of wine. I will be returning to Friendly Nails and it will honestly be very hard to go some place else when Im back home in Raleigh.

I just left from Friendly Nails. Lets just say there is nothing friendly about this place. The staff is very discriminating and prejudice. After I was seated and one lady began her service, one of her customers comes in and she tells her that shes almost done with me and that she will be ready for her in a minute. She tosses me over to another nail tech right after she started doing my nails. (She also started adding nail extensions without my permission) He wasnt very Friendly either. He sat me next to an older lady that was there with her daughter. The older lady seemed to be a little off, I thought maybe she has Alzheimers. The nail tech doing my nails began to get frustrated with the old ladys innocent questions and remarks. Then another nail tech walks up to the old lady and tells her she had to go get her upper lip waxed, insisting that she had to after the old lady continuously denied the kind offer. Poor daughter, where were you? ..I sat there trying to promise myself that I would get out of there without tipping a single penny but working in the service industry myself did not allow me to do that. I tipped that man 20% and left very unsatisfied. Anyway Im not the kind to go write negative reviews whenever I have an unfortunate experience but I had to share my review because if youre like me, you go online and read reviews before purchasing something or trying out a service or anything else.

I went here because of all of the positive reviews, but my experience was far from positive. Nina was the woman who serviced us and I believe is the owner of the salon. She spoke to us as if we were amateurs and made snarky remarks towards my cousin and I in the 2 hours we spent there. If you go to this salon, please save yourself from the insult and go to any of the other nail techs. They were much nicer and not judgmental. Also, I rarely post negative reviews, but I felt as though I had to share my experience.

First time going to them and I’m disappointed. I felt rushed, nail tech was quick but my nail shape is ugly not at all what I wanted. Went back the next day to get my shape fixed and a new nail color and was told it would be $27 AFTER the $74 I spent the day before. Deciding that was a little expensive for a nail color and fixed shape I just told the nail tech no to the color change but she could fix my shape, she proceeded to do that but seemed annoyed by it after asking was the shape okay (it was the same) she rolled her eyes after I said “it looks the same” I told her never mind I’ll go elsewhere she got up and walked away. Staff extremely rude. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone! BLACK WOMEN TAKE YOUR MONEY WHERE IT WILL BE APPRECIATED !!

Had my back waxed here. Great place! had me in and out on my lunch break. Couldnt have taken more than 20min. Very pleased and highly recommend for anyone looking for these type of services.

Keep your money and go else where my friend and I both just wanted a matching set for our nails and toe nails and it smeed nearly impossible to get a matching polish for both my nails and toes.... and now we have different colors that don’t even match or close to matching and after almost 3 hours we were done and charged 240$ dollars and on top of that the waxing sevcive was terrible and it felt like she was taking revenge out on my eyebrows and they don’t even look good.... I routinely get my nails and toes and eyes done every two weeks for the past four years by far worst place ever

My wife came to Friendly Nails more than one time. Today, Thursday 18 May 2017 at 10:00 am, she dealt with a disrespectful employer and she believes that she is the owner. I could not get her name but she had a blonde hair and she is from Asia. First, I called and asked for face wax & she said it is 25$. Then, I came to the store and another employer her name is Suo finished waxing my face.Second, when my wife went to the first employer which she think is the owner, she said it is $40. She tried to deceive my wife to get more money by raising the price. My wife explained to her that she just wanted the whole face no other services such as eyebrow. But she still wanted my wife to pay the40$ and my wife refused.This employer or the owner needs to be trained on how to treat professionally, honestly and friendly with customers.

I went in for a simple pedicure...no massage, no cheap wine, no stone, nothing...just clean and paint my nails. They charged me $28 for that mess??? Also, one of the ladies was rude and keep telling me to relax while she was doing my SNS. She didnt even cut the cuticle, nothing and that cost $40. Never coming back to this place. They were having a supreme pedicure special of $5 off but I didnt asi for that but I guess they were charging that to everyone. Very dissatisfied.

They were friendly, their salon is very clean, the woman fixed my nails because of things I didnt even realize were wrong, and she did a beautiful job. Not only did I love the work she did but it only took her 45 mins. Im extremely excited that Ive found a new salon and I will be returning in 2-3 weeks to get my nails filled back in. Thank you!

Danny does my acrylic nails. Even when I mess them or break them a week later, he will fix them for free. Oh, dont forget to bring cash. They give you a discount if you use cash. I make my drive from downtown GSO to go here because of the amazing quality and service.

They continually go up on prices with no real explanation and no one i like stays. They charge for the length of your nails lol and i dont get long nails. Im done
