Encore North is one of the most beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming place I have lived. The amenities are excellent, the apartment location is perfect (relative to all city life), the staff is super supportive and welcoming, and I enjoy the several social events and other activities that the management organizes. Hats off to their efforts. I would highly encourage others to be a part of this welcoming community.

If you are looking to live at a place that truly cares for its residents, you’ve found it! Encore is by far the best apartment I’ve ever lived in, and the only apartment I’ve ever felt 100%safe to live my life to the fullest. You can’t go wrong with the amazing amenities and the fast response rate of the management team, specifically Christa the property manager!

I just recently moved in. So far everything about the community is great. The price is very fair for the quality of the apartment and amenities. The staff has been very helpful, even with my many questions. If you can get a spot here; then definitely go for it.

My boyfriend and I have been living here for a little over 2 weeks, and we have really enjoyed it so far! We are extremely appreciative of Olivia’s help, and the application and move-in process was a breeze. The apartment is spacious and we really enjoy the pool and gym!

The office staff is such a delightful and hardworking group of people! Not only do I feel so comfortable and familiar with every single one of them, I also see how much hard work they put in to make sure each person living in this community is fully satisfied with their living situations! I also want to point out how clean and so welcoming the community is!! Everyone seems so nice, even the residents who I crossed paths with!!

I have an enjoyed my stay but this place is over priced . The pros include maintenance is amazing and so helpful. Food trucks and social events in front of the building. They send you emails on current events in the community. Cons this place is expensive and sneaky move out fees. The fact I’m being charged for a carpet that was filthy when I moved in is beyond me. Also I hate the water bills are two months behind. I’m glad to have moved from this complex good luck.

Encore North did a wonderful job of helping tenants during the pandemic. From having a walking course around the area to getting food trucks to come to us and helping with packages at the holidays, they have done a wonderful job. Sean on the maintenance crew is wonderful and is so quick to help when you have a problem and just seems to have such a joy when helping people. They do a great job of keeping on top of rules and regulations so Encore North maintains its reputation as quality apartment living.

From the time I started living at Encore North until now, I have experienced nothing but professionalism, help, support and genuine concern from Christa, Marla and the staff.The community is terrific and we have a lot of fun here. It is always a pleasure to come home after a day of work to Encore North. Hats off to a great community and great staff - I would highly recommend living here!

Great community with a wonderful management team. I moved to Greensboro about 2 years ago and they have made me feel at home.

The apartment itself is great. The simple, open style makes the main room feel spacious and inviting. Rent is surprisingly affordable and the staff are gracious when you speak with them.Unfortunately, the neighborhood has grown more and more raucous. Part of the issue seems to be that sound penetrates into the apartment far too easily, from outside, the breezeway and neighboring apartments.The more impactful problem is numerous tactless neighbors who selfishly blast music and blare their horns, throughout the day and even well after midnight. Cannot count how many times Ive been woken up in the middle of the night by someone or another.

Great place great staff & the location is close to the new Bypass which makes getting around Greensboro a lot easier. Highly recommended!!!

The application process was super quick and easy! I’ve been working with both Crista and Marla and they’ve made this process so easy for me. I usually stress about the smallest things and they both have answered all my silly questions and have been so patient. The apartments are to die for. Well kept up with. The pool is such an eye catching part of the complex. Especially the gym facing the pool as your view. I am super excited to be a part of this apartment complex!

My roommate and I toured Encore North earlier today. We were very impressed as we first pulled in and the great impressions didn’t stop there. Christa toured us around the community and provided answers to all of our questions. At the end of our tour we mentioned we would be touring other apartments in the area. Christa said “I know you’ll be back!” And she was right! We are beyond excited to put in our application and hope to make Encore North our home! Highly recommend and we haven’t even moved in yet!

I don’t normally post reviews but I am just so impressed with the management here lately! Lately, I’ve been concerned about a few people and their dogs’ behavior. I have a dog of my own and have always found Encore North to be very pet welcoming and friendly. Even though I was nervous to express my concern, I was treated with such kindness and assured I wasn’t being annoying by making a complaint. They really care about the residents’ safety and desire to feel comfortable in their home. Thank you ladies for addressing my concerns so professionally!

I absolutely loved living here. The staff is amazing and always goes above and beyond to make residents feel appreciated. The maintenance team is awesome they do such a good job making the property look clean and beautiful. I honestly could not say enough good things about this property and the staff.

My husband and I have been living here for 2 weeks and we love it here. Our apartment is very spacious, its nice and quiet, pet friendly and the property is always nice and clean. The amenities are wonderful and look exactly as advertise. The staff is very friendly, professional and responds quickly to any inquiry or need. Its been a great experience and everything has looked and felt as it did the day we took our tour. Its a great place to live.

We have lived here for a little over a year now, and we’ve loved every minute of it. The neighborhood is extremely safe and quiet, and everyone is really friendly! The Encore team is really great about putting together events for the residents and they are all really fun to attend. Makes us feel like we’re important and valued as residents here. I lived at Encore North for almost 2 years and loved it! Christa and Marla are absolute Angels and the property is beautiful! I would 1000% recommend this place if you are in the market for a new home!

This is my second year living at encore north and I absolutely love it! My apartment is really nice and spacious. I think the price is comparable for the area & definitely worth it for how nice the apartments are. I’ve seen people complain about “steep fines” but the only time they send out emails about fines is if people aren’t following the rules about putting their trash out in the designated time frame. Overall, the management is extremely friendly and I love the community. It’s reasonably quiet for a city and I’m really happy here!

I would recommend Encore North as a place to reside. Ive been in a 2BR and a 1BR and enjoy both. Great floor plans for both options w/ nice balconies. I do not own a pet, but I see many pet owners, who are all respectful of the property. Management is incredibly friendly and accommodating; if there are any issues, go to them and they will do what they can to help resolve. Never an issue with parking. Safe area and convenient to grocery store/restaurants. The pool/gym/common areas are all well-maintained and incredibly clean. Have never had any bad experiences with the community, as everyone has been friendly and respectful.

I love living at Encore North. Ive lived here for the past year and I just resigned my lease. They always do fun events to keep the community connected which is one of my favorite parts about living here. The awesome leasing staff is another huge plus - if you need anything they will assist you with kindness and speed. I cant wait to live here another year!

If you like to enjoy the comforts of your home I would recommend you look elsewhere. I would describe Encore north as a retirement home, you must be very cautious with the volume of your music, tv, etc due to how extremely thin the walls are. There’s a time frame when you can listen to music, however whether or not you’re within that time frame the leasing office will bang on your door, call courtesy officer when the level of your music or tv is anywhere between five or seven. Also if you have pets, mainly dogs I would absolutely look elsewhere. As they may state this is a dog friendly community you will receive letters advising to hire a dog sitter to watch your dog while you’re not home or risk facing eviction, only to accommodate your neighbors. Needless to say living there is like walking on eggshells, other residents are allowed to play their guitar at whichever time they feel, burn sage, smoke cigarettes on their balcony and drop their cigarette buds on your patio furniture violating the “smoke free community” policy, stomp extremely hard when going up the stairs, move furniture across the floor at any time without a single thought of the residents beneath. No actions against those residents are issued which brings me to the conclusion that residents are not treated equally. If you have the luxury to choose elsewhere I would highly recommend 100%.

Encore North Apartments are THE place to live. I am absolutely loving the location. The apartments are super clean and well kept. Christa Justine and Marla are the awesome ladies in the office who have been amazing with helping me find my beautiful home. Everyone is so positive and helpful.

Absolutely cannot wait for my lease to be over. Worst Luxury apartments ever (ESPECIALLY for the $1k+ rent). PAPER thin walls and cheap finished in the apartments. The feeling I get living here is not of relaxation and peace(seems like management always have their eyes on you). Management has sent out several emails threatening residents with steep fines( Which Ive NEVER experienced before at an apartment complex, ESPECIALLY a luxury apartment complex). On top of that, Ive read the previous negative reviews, ACCURATE. The pool hasnt even opened yet and im already worried about going and having a bad time. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Save your money. (Anonymous review because afraid of EN figuring out who I am and making the rest of my lease hell)

I lived at Encore North Apartments for 9 months. Living here was a very good decision, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a spacious and open floor plan apartment. Even though living in an apartment you can sometimes hear neighbors, the exceptional staff made up for the troubles. If I had an issue I felt very comfortable going to the staff and expressing my concerns, as they were always available for a listening ear. It was very clear that the staff enjoyed and cared about their job. Encore North is by far the best apartments available in Greensboro, NC.

I have lived here for almost two years. Management changed hands this year. The new staff is awesome! The property manager is the best, professional, caring, incredibly responsive, she plays no favorites. Essentially she possesses a very special gift for property management blending humanity and necessity seamlessly for all residents.Taking over a property is a huge undertaking yet she has in my mind doene a stellar job. Maintenance is superb, timely and well executed. The apartments are spacious, closets are a dream. The rooms are well lit, fabulous window. The grounds are well manicured.This property is like any other in that one must live respectfully with neighbors. Here, with this staff it is easy to make a beautiful apartment home.I am a resident, no one is paying me to say these things. I simply believe that complimenting is as important as reporting issues to the office.Perfection for me is an environment where living comfortably is made possible by caring professional staff, this place has all of the ingredients for successful living.

I lived at Encore for more than a year between 2018-19. I had a great experience here. Crista, Justine and Sabrina have always been very helpful and attended to my concerns promptly.The apartments themselves were very nice, and it was nice to have easy access to the gym and the clubhouse. I see some people in the reviews have raised concerns about racism, but my personal experience was very pleasant here.

We love our apartment, the amenities, and management. We have been here for 10 months and have zero complaints. You are able to hear your neighbors, but that is what happens when you share walls. All in all it is a great place to live.

My husband and I have lived here since they opened in 2017. We were one of the first residents. Everything about this place (staff, maintenance, grounds, amenities) is top notch and professional. I love living here. It’s so beautiful and the staff is very helpful. Lots of great amenities like a salt water pool! It was awesome to find such a nice place that allowed me to have a dog. Very pet friendly.

An honest, neutral review for the public:We all know that most people only leave reviews when they are very angry or very pleased, or even begged to. My daughter and I have lived here since this place opened. We have seen office staff change, a new owner, and change in the actual manager here. Needless to stay, the sweet girls in the office have gone through a lot to try and accommodate everyone with all the changes. The pool is my favorite part, especially with all the fun things they’re doing so often! This place gives you chick-fil-a on your way to work and some type of drink almost every week after work one day. My daughter saw a review that was left by Sarah L which even made me offended. People like that are stuck in their very own world with no realistic expectation of reality. The pool is amazing. It is more relaxing in the week and more lively on Saturdays! When I feel like keeping to myself out there, I do! When I don’t, there are some of the friendliest people out there to spark up a conversation. People bring their own speakers sometimes but there’s usually always decent music playing. It makes it feel fun and makes me feel more comfortable knowing I don’t have to pretend to read the book I’m staring at just because that’s what “ladies” do. The girls in the office are so sweet and they don’t deserve the mean things coming out of some of these peoples mouths. If you don’t act entitled and come back to earth and realize we are all humans and equal, you will absolutely love this place and the social atmosphere. I’ve made so many great friends living here. Thank you Encore North and all the hard work from your staff behind the scenes!

Sarah L is probably the crazy lady that video tapes everyone at the pool and complains to the office all the time about the music being played. Community policies work both ways & she is just mad that the office cant do anything about her complaints because their not valid. Sarah L go buy a house and make us all happy. Great location, beautiful property helpful and friendly staff. Moved from out of state and my moving truck had mechanical issues on the way to NC! The issues caused a delay in my arrival time. I called the office and explained what was happening and that my original time of 3pm was not going to happen. They told me to just keep them posted and they would work with me. It was a Saturday and the leasing agent stayed until I arrived at 530pm! I can’t thank them enough for being so felxiable and accommodating!

I am very impressed with the staff. They have been very professional and genuinely nice. I’m moving in soon and am very excited!!

This is by far the worst apartment complex I’ve lived at. If you are of African American descent please reconsider moving to Encore North. My guests and I were at the pool and was harassed by management. Multiple people from the office came out to look and stare at us until they chose to address us by saying they don’t recognize us and do we live here? I had to inform them that I was in fact a resident. As we remained out by the pool they constantly kept coming out circling around us until we felt unwelcomed and left! The residents are paid to leave reviews so the reviews below are not genuine! The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbor in their living room while you’re in your living room. You can also hear your neighbor while they are in their kitchen having side conversations. Everything the person above you does as far as walking and shutting doors can be heard as well. The apartment complex says it is luxurious and the stay here has been everything but that!

I was gonna consider moving here but the reviews and the careless response from the owner has said it all. It’s sad that people charge outrageous to live in these places and be Miserable while having to be bound by leasing terms. Furthermore throwing these places together cheaply and delaying repairs...SMH

The pool looks beautiful and relaxing when they are taking you on a tour. But it is anything but. If you even attempt to go on the weekend it is impossible to enjoy unless you want to deal with a group of drunk, inconsiderate jerks that turn it into a party pool. If you complain to management they will tell you that there is nothing that they can do. They hired a pool monitor that actually parties with these people! Honestly, its hilarious at this point how unprofessional the management is here! Twilight zone stuff. If you value your peace, this is the worst possible place to live. It has been one thing after another since Ive moved in. The WORST place I have ever lived. I cant wait to get out of here.

***Update***7/29/20As previously stated, I renewed my lease and have enjoyed the extra time here! The staff here, both office (Justine, Marla, Christa and Akiyah) and maintenance (Damian and Shonne), are incredible and will bend over backwards to ensure you have the best experience here! If youre looking for a nice place to live with great staff and great neighbors, this is definitely the place!******Ive lived here for almost a year now and definitely will be renewing my lease when the time comes. Staff is super friendly and goes out their way to accommodate any request within reason and theyre really dog friendly! Whenever I came down here and was apartment hunting, they actually let me come back several times and check everything out and were extremely helpful with everything and really was one of the main reasons I chose here. The maintenance guys are always super friendly and the few minor things Ive requested fixed, its usually been fixed that day or the next. The grounds are always kept up and the complex as a whole is really clean. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking!

OH my! I was just told to check out the comments on here and I dont even know what to say. Ive lived here for a long time and the pool this year is out of control, to the point they make you wear a pool pass wristband. New management cant figure out their identity, party apartments or luxury living! I know the crazy lady personally and I can tell you right now, that girl dont have time to write reviews or take any damn videos! Only reason I know about the apparent videos is bc the leasing office accused her of it! Im keeping my identity private bc Ive seen the harassment she has gotten from speaking up to management and Im good on that. These old, fatties that hang out at the pool aint got nothing better to do than mess with that girl! And then I read some other chicks comments (she def sounding kinda cray but shes being real) and the leasing girls is straight paying people to leave positive comments and make her comments seem irrelevant! Funny but so unprofessional yall! Yeah, and this place straight racist for sure. See what happens if I play my music at the pool. Prob get evicted. Thats all.Justine nice though.

Encore North is a beautiful complex, I fell in love with the property since it was first built. If you are thinking about moving here be deligent with your research and questions. Management appears to be nice and considerate of your needs, but remember this is sales. I’ve been invited to events with times left off and along with nothing but management making threats to residents on a daily basis. When I first moved in I went a month without a working dishwasher, and water pressure is terrible. I dare you to fry one slice of bacon with the vent on, you will hear two fire alarms going off consistently. Ventilations system is poor. You will always come across discrepancies with apartment management. There are rules people break and it is their job to enforce them. I am a full time student and I work 12 hours shifts with a second job. I cannot express how much my home and peace means to me. I do not bother anybody and I keep to myself. I’ve had the cops called on my gf because a resident said they did not see her handicap sticker which was on the dashboard. What could have been a simple email turned into an officer at my door disrupting my sleep. Black people at the pool causes for a head count and confirmation of residency but not the other way around. Have your guards up, but for everyone.The parking spaces are limited and if you own a nice vehicle it’s going to get scratched all the time and you”ll just have to take that up with your insurance company. 5 star comments are posted because they’re bribed, management gave residents $10 gift cards to post positive comments, so there goes the integrity of having true reviews.Again it’s a beautiful apartment complex, not telling people of color to stay away. This is an issue that is faced everyday regardless of where you are. But be prepared and manage your decisions effectively and compare the experiences shared and the capacity of what your willing to deal with.

This place is spanking brand new, lol. All top appliances, lightening that comes on when you walk in and Cindy is ever soooooo sweet, Im sure the rest of the staff is too. I cant wait to move in next month. So excited!!!

Th e apartments are nice. Once you become settled in you start to notice where things are upgraded and some things are down graded. The sink seems nice but it’s difficult to do dishes in one whole sink with low water pressure. The bath tub is small and more narrow than standard tubs in other homes. The white people in the community are racist to people of color and will just stare you down at community events and at the swimming pool and treat you like you should’t be there. You only receive threats in your emails like your a kid and very little community involvement. They shouldn’t tolerate racism as much as they tolerate no smoking. Everybody works hard and pays rent and should be able to relax and live amungst others. People walk around with their dogs looking for reasons to complain and to be nosy.

The apartments seem cheaply made and the management does not respond to issues very quickly.

I agree with Maria, race issues seem to be a big problem in the apartment complex. White people seem to not want individuals of color to be residents here and the management appears to have the same attitude. Maybe they should be more apparent that they do not want people of color living here or interacting with whites.
