I live in an old house and needed a few things done. A friend of mine was telling me about James at JR Construction and what great work he does. I decided to give him a call and Im really glad I did! He does outstanding work and is VERY reasonably priced. He is very knowledgeable and skilled at a variety of things. He cares about the work he does and wants to make his customers happy. He is very flexible, reliable, courteous and easy to work with. A lot of other companies will try to take advantage and rip you off. For example, to clean the air ducts in my house, James only charged me 25% of what other companies normally charge!!! He also cleaned the dryer vent while he was at it for no additional charge! He is honest and very reasonable. Use him!
BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE! At first this guy seemed to know what he was doing. I asked him to rid of mold, repair the leak and fix the wall. He abated the mold, did the worst tape job (wall install) Ive ever seen. Also, his tiling skills are lacking. But most importantly he never fixed the leak that caused the mold in the first place! Letting us believe it was repaired, 3 months later, water damage appeared on our ceiling in the location he supposedly repaired. I tried contacting him and he continually avoided my calls, made several appointments to fix the leak and never showed up. Finally, after threatening him with a lawsuit, he sent another person to fix the leak on the roof. After all is said and done, $4,000 later, I have a sub-par bathroom. Spend your hard earned money with someone who knows what they are doing.
I have been trying to understand how things work in my chalet to save money, so I do my research and ask experts. I only had a few silly questions Im sure. But the representative did not make me feel like my questions were silly. The company rep took the time to answer each via email. Very quickly too. And they made it simple to understand and did not use a bunch of nonsense jargon from their field. I appreciate that type of kindness.
James did an excellent job on our Home that was flooded by the water heater. The basement had around 6 inches deep in the finished basement. It was a nightmare when I came back from vacation to see this. James responded quickly and professionally. He billed the insurance company directly. He also didnt charge us our full deductible witch was a great help . And he and his crew restored our home back even better then it was before Thank You James
