I bought in my 2003 Chevy Trailblazers because my brake light had came on. I was told the service light was electronic glitch vs the actual brakes needing repair. Most repair shops would tell you that this is needed, that is needed making the work very expensive and costly. Not this place, the Gentleman honestly told me to save my money and not worry about the light. Saving me $1,000 dollars. Instead I got a High Mileage Oil Change and Tire Rotation. I appreciate his honestly and not trying to empty my pockets. Will definitely be back!

Dropped the truck off for an inspection and tire rotation... Even though the place was super busy 1 minute after they opened everybody was helpful and friendly.Theres a reason people will wait a bit longer vs going anywhere in a 5min radius for the same work.

You cant do better than Mikes for service in Greensboro. Theyve been taking great care of cars and customers for years! Brad and Ricky keep the shop humming and are always able to fit you in for emergencies. Having been a customer of Mikes for over 20 years, I have no intention of going anywhere else for the work I might need done on my vehicle now or on any vehicle I might have in the foreseeable future. The work they do is done with personal pride, with my best interests in mind, and at rates that are lower than I have heard about elsewhere. But, it is more than that which brings me back time after time. Mikes feels like you are visiting a friend. They treat everyone like family, and yet make each customer feel special. Based off the reviews I brought my car in for an oil change. This is the second time I have received service. The first time no issues 5 stars (oil change). This time around I was advised by Rickey that my car needed two tires, taillight repair, and brakes. After receiving the quote I advised Rick to proceed with the brake repair. In the middle of the repair Ricky advised me that my caliper was stuck. He advised me of the price I told him I would not like to replace it. He then advised me the service for replacing the brakes was started and the caliper would need to be replaced. After speaking with the mechanic he came back and advised me they could put my old brakes back on. Long story short as soon as I drove my car off the lot not even two minutes down the road I started experiencing problems I had never experienced before I brought my car to the shop. Car pulling to the right, car making an unusual noise, etc... I drove back to the shop and explained to Rick what was going on with my car. My car is currently being towed from their shop to another because at this point I am scared to drive the car. Not saying they did anything to the car but I am saying this is very weird that my car is doing things it did not do when I originally brought it in for a simple oil change. Definitely did not have this planned for a Friday night. BEWARE!!!!!!***UPDATE: the shop my car was towed to stated the Caliper was not stuck and my breakers were replaced no problem. So glad I got a second opinion instead of paying mikes tire & service center for a part I did not need. So DECEPTIVE on Rick end.

I was referred to Mikes Tire and Service years ago by a friend that I trusted. How grateful I am! Brad and all of the guys there take care of their customers and make sure we get what is needed for our vehicle (a 16 yr old Jeep Wrangler) while also keeping our circumstances in mind. They really care about taking care of the customer. As it turns out, its a small world. When I told my co-workers I was having my Jeep worked on...and told them where, they said oh yeah, I know them...they do great work.... That alone speaks volumes.

Mikes Tire and Service Center was my go to mechanic. I had two used cars, a 2004 Honda Odyssey and a 2005 Ford Focus. Whenever the cars needed work, they kept both of those cars in amazing condition and always charged a fair price for any work that was needed. Air conditioner in my car wasnt working so I took my car to Mikes Auto Center at approx 7:45 am on Monday morning. Therefore, Ileft the car and was given a ride home. Two hours later, I received a text stating the problem had been diagnosed and to call to discuss the problem and the charges. By 3:07 I received a text that my car was ready. Since my sister had stopped by to see me she gave me a ride to pick my car up.I am very thankful that I called them because they are a Better Business Bureau member.The staff was extremely professional and courteous. The service was very reasonable and expeditious. I highly recommend Mikes Auromobile Service for any problem you may have with your car.

Best prices, customer service, and time friendly place I been to! Got my vehicle in quick. Performed all the work why I was there did not have to make a return appointment. Ive been taking my car to Mikes since I moved here last year. Theyre flexible with getting you in if its an emergency (I had a nail in my tire) or scheduling you for regular maintenance. During their appointment, they will text updates and get approval before repairing anything that wasnt initially on the schedule. When other issues did arise, they drove me to the gym and picked me up so that my schedule wasnt impacted. My car was always ready in a timely fashion when I did wait. Theyre knowledgeable and friendly and Ive been very happy taking my car to them.

I took my car in with unknown electrical gremlins. Mike’s was able to find which of the many fuse boxes the gremlins were hiding in, but they were unable to catch and remove the varmints. He suggested a specialist nearby, then refused pay, stating they didn’t fix the problem, no charge. I will be going back with my business.

Was referred to Mikes by another service center who could not perform the service I needed. I am always cautious of a new garage but called Mikes. I brought my truck over and they worked me in the same day and completed the service timely and for a very fair price. They also determined I had an inspection due soon and asked if I wanted this done which saved me another trip. The guys there are very friendly honest and I would highly recommend Mikes for sure. Being new to Greensboro, I did not know of any auto repair companies. After extensive research online, visiting competing auto shops for same service, when I walked into Mikes Tire and Service Center, I was impressed by the customer service (as I was just getting a quote). I found their pricing on the work I was interested in getting to be the best offered. Of course pricing doesnt necessarily mean quality, but they provided surpassed great quality of work. Kudos to the technician! I found my go-to place for auto repair if/when needed. I also needed an unexpected replacement (new tires). I had always been happy with my previous tires, so he was able to get the same kind for me. Everything worked out perfectly. Highly recommend.

My wifes CRV quit while away from home. I was able to get it started with a jump box and dropped it off at Mikes after normal working hours. They diagnosed the problem and replaced the battery the next day, also performed several needed maintenance items. It was good to know that her car was ready and safe for a trip to New Bern the following day to visit her father, who is dealing with health issues. Brad is always friendly and helpful and the work is done in a timely manner.

I went in for my 120,000-mile check-up this week and was pleasantly surprised. Even though we tacked on the inspection, which was due in another month, the final bill was less than I had expected, and all the work was finished in record time. Mikes never disappoints! I am a customer for life!

Forgot to post a review when I got the service done. I gave them a 2 stars because they quoted me differently when I arrived than whats stated over the phone. The guy quoted me around 100 dollars for an oil change for my BMW but then switched to almost 150 dollars since my car needed performance oil. Long story short, I could get an oil change with premium oil for a fraction of the price. Felt a bit overcharged for the service yet cheaper than BMW dealership. However, still pretty sad. Thought I got a deal....Update: They called me back and apologized for their mistake; also refunded me a portion of the total bill. Id appreciate the customer service. They seem to care about their service and the customers.

Brad continues what his father began, and you always feel welcome when you come in, called by name. And the service is just as fine as the attention. Nothing is hidden, you get to watch, if you like, and they will update you throughout the process, consulting with you before doing anything. The technicians are take charge mechanics and talk to you openly about what you need now or can wait to do later. Three bays, they get you in and out quickly. I cant say enough about this gem of a business which always puts people at ease and puts our concerns top priority. They know their job and keep the cost down. I highly suggest you give them a try!

We took our truck to Mikes Tire & Service Center for a checkup before we got rid of the Honda and everything checked out great. We read reviews about Mikes Tire and Service center but were really BLOWN away by the customer service and honesty. We thought for sure our truck needed new breaks, but one of the guys called and informed us that they still had a lot of life left in them. These guys are honest, efficient and genuinely nice. Im about to pick up my car from Mikes on tomorrow. I will have to salvage it, which I appreciate for their honesty. Wonderful! My husband and I recently moved to NC and have had a couple car issues. My husband had been using a different shop close to his work, but had decided against returning there. One morning at 4:45 am, his car broke down on a busy highway. I got it towed and had about 20 minutes to find a new shop and hope they would be ok with me showing up in a tow truck. I found Mike’s on google (they opened earlier than other shops, and reviews looked good!) - called and left a goofy message that I was a new client and would see them at 7:30. Brad called me before they were even open and said they would be glad to get us fixed up. Outstanding! They have a steady stream of customers, but fit us in with no notice and were happy to do so. Brad is very open, honest, friendly and informative. Mike even gave me a ride to my job and offered to pick me up afterward! That afternoon, our old Buick was fixed and has been driving great! Needless to say, we have found our auto shop in Mike’s and won’t be going anywhere else! Thank you thank you thank you!

This was my third visit to Mikes - two oil changes, a new wheel bearing and a more complete tune-up. Every visit has been a completely positive event. The work was done on-time, on-budget (in one case below budget) and I have not experienced any issues with the services provided. I appreciate the honesty in any discussions with Mikes. They provided me with a list of services required, the estimated costs for each and prioritized these requirements to match my budget restrictions.My experiences with car repairs has always been a bit like visiting a lawyer. On our way from Florida to Greensboro, the check engine light came on in our Honda Odyssey. After checking the ratings on local shops, I took it to Mikes. They diagnosed problem and replaced the catalytic converters the same day. Judging from my web searches, it appears that catalytic converter is often an issue on Odysseys, and typically the cause for the check engine light to illuminate. I was very pleased with the service and value at Mikes and recommend them to others.

Didnt get the chance to stop by but they were so nice and personable over the phone. Anything related to car troubles can stress you out but I felt better after just speaking with the front desk gentleman. Great service.

Beamer was booked for days but the manager wanted to help me out and he sent me to his next door neighbor Meineke. They were not busy and they said the reason Beamer had a lot full of cars was because their employees parked in front of the business. Not nice since I told them that Beamer sent me to them. Meineke asked for my name and phone number which I gave them. Then the woman asked for my address and I said I didnt want to give her that because I didnt want to be on another mailing list. She said she had to have it. All I had was one tire with a tiny nail in it that leaked down slowly. 26$ repair at Mikes Tire & Service Center. Excellent service. Manager expedited my repair and Juan pulled the tire off the car and off the rim and patched it from the inside and cleaned the rim before putting it back on the car. Total bill $25.62 and about 45 minutes including wait time.

I needed an oil change at the last minute and went to Mikes. They were all extremely friendly and helpful. My car was finished in less than 20 minutes and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. Ill definitely be back.
