The office people are amazing! I really do love renting from them. But the maintenance people suck! Good luck getting anything taken care of! Ive spent my own money on a plumber and now going to be hiring someone to come take care of everything else. Ive been in my place for 2 years still waiting for things to be fixed from when I moved in and it was promised.

The maintenance here quite frankly is awful. We had a few things broken when we first moved in and at first they were super quick to come and fix it, and when our cat was locked in the bathroom they were quick to come and get her out and break the handle off and replace it.But then the outlet by our fridge broke. A maintenance worker came and said that the outlet was broken and that theyll get someone to come fix it soon, we waited for two weeks. And during those two weeks the only thing we could do was plug a power strip into the wall, plug another power strip into that one, and plug the fridge into that one. And we had that for about 2 weeks. You would think that theyd want to fix something that is potentially a fire hazard as soon as possible right? And then they come in, fix it, and have the gall to tell us that it wasnt working because their building is wired wrong and that too many things plugged into outlets causes things to surge, and that it was basically our fault. We had a toaster plugged into another plug, pretty sure a toaster that we barely use isnt going to cause a fridge outlet to stop working.Besides that fiasco, its just generally a mess, the water is turned off on about a weekly basis here, and the unit as a whole was a mess when we moved in. Were talking rust in the sink, a broken vent in the bathroom, oh and free spiderwebs.Rent from them at your own risk.

I would take the previous reviews with a huge grain of salt! Betting its a bunch of jerks that dont know how to pay their bills and get evicted.... I have been renting from them for 3 years now at 2 different homes, and have nothing but a great experience! I can call them and talk to them any day of the week, and they are always helpful. I rented from a lot of places in my life and this company is one of the best I have ever rented from. Just pay your bills, dont lie to them, and I bet your experience will be 100% positive!!

Hi; I have been a cleaner for this company, and I can tell you that the office staff do the very best they can. If repairs are not made, honestly it is up to the discretion of the property owner. The staff at UNC rentals work very hard to ensure they are fair, the units are clean upon move-in and do their best to be attentive to their renters. A lot of the units I have cleaned are very dirty which is not UNC rentals fault.

I’ve been living at a property being managed by rentunc for 2 years now and they are the best and most helpful people I have ever met. They have the best attitude about there job and will do anything in there power to better your living experience. I am so grateful for rentunc and everything they’ve done for our property thus far, I have no doubt in my mind they are the best property managers I’ve ever met.

One star is generous. Ive lived in quite a few apartments, and this complex is in the worst condition and has the worst management. Our second bedroom has flooded multiple times with black colored water from plumbing issues from upstairs. Twice management has sent someone to fix it. It flooded again this week. No one responds to the emergency line. Management ignores any messages from my husband. I call them out on it and they respond to me about a week later. They never responded to my husband. And oftentimes they give you less than 24 hours for apartment showings. There was a large flood from torrential rain and they ignored our request to focus on the apartments where no one was living at the time. This last year has truly been an awful experience.I have lived in three other complexes and I have never had any issues with my apartments or management because they are professional and treat it like a business. RentUNC is quite the opposite.

It’s been very difficult to keep lines of communication open. Our house was sold and we switched to RentUNC and we have had nothing but problems since. There have been issues with billing that have not been resolved for almost two months. There have been multiple instances that I have tried to get information from them and they haven’t responded to me- sometimes this has meant having to wait over the weekend before messaging them again on Monday. Would not recommend

We’ve had a great experience renting from RentUNC. I’ve rented with them for close to 3 years. Maintenance at times had some hiccups, but their new crew is fantastic and so friendly. The ladies in the office have gone above and beyond. I needed to move out a bit before my lease ended, and the were able to help us find a sub-lease quickly. Additionally, they have gone out of their way to help us out with a billing issue. What I’ve ultimately learned is that being a good tenant and being kind to the office staff is the key to having a great experience with any management company, and that rings true with RentUNC as well.

The office managers are very kind and helpful! However, there’s usually at max a 24 hour notice before someone is going to come into your apartment for maintenance or a viewing, or that tenants may need to move cars. Most of the time it’s less than an hour for a notice. When my roommate and I first moved in, the apartment was a mess even though RentUNC said that it would be cleaned. They told us people were tired of having to pay for the apartment to be cleaned before they moved in. When we were viewing the apartment they also told us that the carpets would be replaced with hardwood floor before we moved in, they were not and the carpet was in very bad condition with stains everywhere. My closet door was broken when we moved in, and the maintenance said it was “unfixable”, so we went and got the supplies and fixed it ourselves. My bedroom door does not close properly and neither do most of the cabinets in the kitchen or bathroom. The dishwasher often breaks and the burners on the stove do not always heat properly. The shower has also had its fair share of problems. The knobs occasionally stop working, and you can’t take a bath because the mechanism to plug the drain does not work. Also, if you are a student and need WiFi in order to do school work or any work for that matter, the WiFi they provide does not work. Their properties are not kept up very well which is honestly a shame.

They mistreat their tennants, dont honor their leases, and expect you to say thank you at the end of the day. Not to mention that theyll let anyone into your apartment, even if theyre not staff. I advise you stay away if you value your way of living.

I have had nothing but a good experience with RENTUnc. I was renting from them for over 3 years. They were always helpful and even went the extra mile to help me out of a awful roommate situation. They found us a new place, worked with our schedule to check us out of the awful roommate house, and even worked with us on our deposit of the new place.Maintenance was always on time. There was only one time we didnt know maintenance was coming and that was when our toilet was leaking into the apartment under us(old building).Anna and Ester always let us know when they would be coming over, or when the office was going to be closed. They didnt charge us for the blinds we had broken. I would 100% rent from them again.

These people are the absolute worst people to rent from. They charge you for every little thing, they never give you notice to when they’re coming, they left us without hot water for two days, and now that I’ve left they tried saying my security deposit that should’ve been a couple hundred dollars is now only $35. One star is a generous rating to these awful girls. Never rent from them.

The girls that answer the phone are nice until you have a question, then they get an attitude. My door always gets stuck to the point that I cant get out of my room and my friend has to break down the door. We put in 4 different request in, trying to get it fixed and its been 3 weeks and still hasnt been done. We called telling them that it needed to be done because it is a fire hazard, which it is. When we stated that it was a hazard, they wanted to get an attitude and ask how it was possibly a fire hazard. Well if there was a fire and I am stuck in my room, I could possibly burn to death!!! We are very close to fixing the damn door ourselves.

They have terrible communication skills. They will charge you for fees even when you have not moved in yet. Also they do not answer their phone so questions that you may have will not be answered in a timely manner. I have not even moved in yet and my roomate and I are already facing problems with RENTUNC.

Nice receptionists and employees. the only problem is how unbelievably lazy their maintenance is. they have come 3 times to fix something and have never cleaned up after themselves. maintenance of any kind is very very slow and the rental company does not ever answer their phones.I had to beg and plead to get almost everything that was included in the lease that i had already paid for, including parking, hot water, wifi, the invisible cleaning service that supposedly shows up once a week, and getting the contractor to clean up the sawdust and wood shavings after they supposedly finished remodeling. Some of these things im STILL waiting on.edit: its been a month and nobody has done anything. NEVER RENT FROM RENTUNC

The house we were leasing from Tanager Management was sold to a new owner and during the process of reselling it my roommates and I were contacted by no fewer than four different LLCs claiming to be our new landlords, all demanding the rent wed been paying, copies of our personal information, and for us to get off their property. When I forwarded their messages to Tanager we never heard back and the eviction notices continued to come, taped to our doors, left in our mail. Ruby Lindblad of Tanager refused to take my phone calls or messages for three months asking for her help and when we tried to get advice from her she told us that she would not defend us if we were evicted, saying we didnt have a leg to stand on. During finals week my roommates and I were told that we had until the end of the week to get off the property. My roommates and I barely managed to scrape by and get a new place but we certainly wont ever lease from this group again. My advice to college students-- or anyone for that matter-- is find another place to live. You might get harassed and then evicted and theres nothing you can do about it.

By far the worst business owners. Poor knowledge of Colorado state laws, poor customer service. The only reason for having business in Greeley is because most of the UNC students dont have many options around campus to live.
