Recently had a friend that was considering moving in here, and I strongly suggested she not. While I moved out of these apartments about 2 years ago, this reminded that I should leave a review of my experience so people don’t make the same mistake I did and that my friend almost made. The head of maintenance is an absolute brute of a man and the rudest most disrespectful person I have ever encountered in my entire life. He screamed and belittled my girlfriend to tears for not dusting the top of the fridge during checkout. Our neighbors who are also our good friends had the exact same experience. We were also threatened with fines on checkout by the same head of maintenance for our place being a “disaster”, despite it being flawlessly clean. He proceeded to scream and lecture us. When we contacted management they inspected the place and found it to be in prime condition, and said there would be no fines. The maintenance people would put a notice on your door at 9pm saying they needed to get into the apartment at 6am and then either let themselves into our apartment with no warning or not even show up at all after we had moved all the furniture so they could get to the vents. So avoiding their head of maintenance was a difficult task. There is one laundry machine per building, and on top of having only one to share with ~12 other apartments, ours was broken for most of the duration of us living there and no one came to fix it. One instance I was threatened a fine for having a cardboard box on my balcony that had been there for less than a day. The water was CONSTANTLY being shut off that it became a serious recurring issue. They failed to build a large enough parking lot for the amount of apartments they have, so good luck ever finding a space. And to top it all off, your rent will be raised randomly with little warning. I’ve lived in a lot of different places in Greeley and have had some weird experiences but this is by far the worst (and insultingly most expensive) place I have ever lived.

We moved in a year and a half ago. Move in process was very easy, low deposit. After moving in, we began to hear all the horrible stories from friends/co workers. Then we began having noise issues with our upstairs neighbors. At first, it was so loud and bad we thought it was a domestic violence situation. We would let management know and security and it would get better for about a week and then back to constant noise. It was so bad we had a picture fall off the wall, our animals would freak out and we had to buy a sound bar to be able to hear our tv. After about 4 months living there (bottom floor) our noisy neighbors flooded our apartment by “forgetting to turn the bathtub off”. I spent half a day, missing work, getting everything able to dry and cleaned up. An expensive rug was ruined, the carpet and walls compromised. I inquired about damage loss and was told to “take it up with my insurance”. When I talked to my insurance they said since I was not at fault, they would have to sue the persons at fault. I thought that extreme and moved on. Two months later, our apartment got flooded again, exact same situation. Nothing was done to the upstairs renters. And the noise complaints continued. I was told by the manager that the people living there before us had also complained of their noise. Nothing changed. At one point, management came into our apartment to listen for about 2 minutes and told us “that’s normal”. We had friends and family over that said it was in no way normal. At times it would continue on into the early morning hours. It continued until we moved out.A friend worked on the installation crew and said the improvements and upgrades were done at the cheapest possible option. And it showed. Our carpet deteriorated at a seam (not so coincidentally where the water damage was), we had mold growing in our bathroom and closet (was told conflicting stories/solutions), our appliances were not installed properly and we had to finagle to get our dishwasher open/closed, the last two months of our residency our water was contaminated and tasted like fish- made us and our animals very ill and we had to go so far as brushing our teeth with bottled water. After all that, we were held liable for “damages” we never caused.I would not recommend living here to my worst enemy. Some of the rudest, prejudice, unethical people I’ve ever encountered.

I currently have a family member and her family living here with this being their first time moving out on their own they were not told utilities were not included in rent and even then somehow rent had drastically raised up for them and not only an aunt of mine lived here and I wish I would have warned my family that is currently living here to not move in they had been wanting to break their lease with only being there for 2 months and sadly my aunt told them not too because this place had sued her for not finishing her whole year of lease ! My time I have visited I would see why they would sue their not even nice, this place reeks like cigarettes my family member has mentioned to always hearing neighbors arguing screaming and also to having the police always around the complex I would not recommend ! I myself live in an apartment with a washer and dryer no complaints and have not been through any of this that my family members have been through here mind you the washer and dryer area is dirty I’ve seen it for myself this place it not worth it to my fellow people that are looking skip this place I promise you there are better complex with less hassle you have to deal with here ! Sad I cannot help my family members to leave we don’t want court issues with this hateful place .

Sterling Heights is awesome. Ive always found their office staff to be helpful and friendly. They do a good job of taking care of tenants with prompt notices about repairs, upgrades, and community events. The maintenance staff is also very helpful. When I call about an issue, they respond quickly. They go above and beyond. Two things I do not care for are the other tenants as some are good and some really dont do their part to keep the place in good standing. The second is the lease agreement: its definitely long, but for those who are contracted, it makes it difficult to plan appropriately if the time tables dont match up. Ultimately, I like it here and I dont want to move!

If you want the short version... This place is amazing. The apartments are even nicer than expected. Google maps does not show you how well groomed the lawns are or how well kept the grounds are. I was so happily surprised when I moved in. The staff at the leasing office are easy to talk to and they truly want to make your experience here a pleasant one. The maintenance staff are quick to respond to tickets and are incredibly nice and professional. Ive lived at some places where all the staff see you as nothing more than a check. This place is NOT that.Heres the longer version if you want a thorough detail of my experience...I just moved in about a week ago now (Additional review to follow on move out). However, I felt the need to share my experience. This place has been phenomenal. I was moving from many states away and the Covid-19 developments made looking for place extraordinarily difficult for me. I am 100% somebody who wants to see everything and plan out every single detail before deciding on a place. The online walkthrough was exceptional. It was not only detailed but had a measuring tool so I could plan out where my furniture might go and things of the sort. With this being said, I still asked close to a hundred questions and the staff in the leasing office answered every single one of them. Some of my obscure questions required them to check up on the answer but they absolutely did within minutes or at most a few hours. As an example, I asked what the dimensions of the doorways were so that I could be certain my furniture would fit through. Jessica went out and measured my apartments doors and sent me back the details within a time period that made me certain she got up almost immediately after I asked and went to check. This level of hospitality continued through my move in and I couldnt be more excited to live here.

My partner and I have been here since May and we’ve never had an issue with parking up until a few months ago. The parking is so bad here and people just park however they feel like and the lanes have been redone but are too narrow. Then these big diesel trucks want to park in the front parking and don’t even park right as well, when they should at least be decent and use the back parking. I feel that we pay more than enough money to at least get a covered parking spot and not have to park out on the street and then receive a ticket for parking out on the street due to parking issues here. Just disappointing :(

Overall a very average complex. The office staff is helpful and the maintenance crew is outstanding, they’re very friendly and helpful. Every once in awhile the corporate owners will walk through and I’ll get a call about something on my deck that’s ‘not allowed’ despite it being there for months (pride flag, hammock, cooler, etc) despite it not being clearly outlined in the lease and that’s the main reason that I’m giving 3 instead of 4 stars. There were issues with water but those have been fixed. I’ve seen reviews about security deposits and I’m moving out today so I’ll update my review once it’s time to get that back. One more minor issue is AC, the units come with one small air conditioner and in the hot summers it does not do well at cooling the whole apartment. This can be fixed with another window unit however those can be a hassle. All in all there are better options for the price in Greeley but if you like the charm of an old build with modern renovations, cheap covered parking, and granite countertops/stainless steel appliances this is the place for you.

I have lived at Sterling Heights for five years and am generally pleased with the experience. Management is excellent, helpful, and friendly. The facility is mature, but is well-maintained by an excellent maintenance team. The few issues that I have experienced have related to other tenants not complying with the rules of the lease, to which everyone agrees at signing. Compliance issues are handled promptly and fairly by management. I highly recommend this apartment facility to those seeking a convenient, friendly, and safe place to live.

I can truly say that I never had a bad experience. The manager scheduled a couple different community gatherings that I really enjoyed. My apartment was very nice on the inside and any time I had an issue or needed something fixed the maintenance men would always attend to it quickly. I also used the gym quite frequently and it has all your basic equipment in there that you would need.During my time here, I did not experience any issues with my apartment or with my safety. I found that the my apartment was in a great location for me. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone!

However, you may as well just not plan to leave because it is a nightmare. They nickle and dimed me to death to get out of there. They cant prorate rent or any of the thousands of fees that they charge you. I had to pay twice as much as my rent just to leave. And I got charged for 8 hours of cleaning time... I did not leave my apartment dirty by any means. The management were always nice and I never had a problem with them, as the policies are no their fault. I have lived in Sterling Heights for almost a year and I feel that I am now qualified to post a meaningful comment. Since I havent lived in apartments for many years, I would likely be the first to complain about anything not being up to par. However, the experience has been great. Management is friendly, helpful, and very responsive. The maintenance staff is the very best. I can report that the property is well-managed, well-maintained, reasonably priced, and very convenient for my needs. I have also found that there is always a small percentage of people who are not willing to comply with rules and who do not respect others or their environment. These very few people are the problem. Management cant do much about them, other than to address each problem as it arises. I highly recommend Sterling Heights as a great place to live. I would love to have you as neighbors if you simply abide by the rules and respect others. My intention is to be here for another 2-3 years, depending on my particular situation.

My partner and I have recently moved here in May and we must say that the staff is amazing and so helpful. During our process of getting paperwork and deposits ready, they were all so helpful, professional and very courteous. We love to call this place our home. Maintenance men are amazing as well. Only minor complaints would be the washer/dryer situation and parking. Theres times that we have to park at least 2-3 complexes away from ours and some tenants do not park right in the parking spaces causing them to hit the sides of our vehicles or almost taking up two spaces, and the trucks should have designated parking towards the back due to them being so bulky and causing parking to be tight. But other than, that we would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone in search of a great place to call home.

Several nights i have been woken by screaming individuals in the parking lots. Numerous days i am invited by the smell of marijuana through by bathroom and bedroom vents. Police were called recently for a domestic violence next door. These people moved out and new neighbors came in. I had to reach out to police due to the new neighbors fighting next door. We were accused of spitting off our balcony and then found a note saying it was a mistake. The office never gave a call to inform us that we were wrongfully accused. Around spring there was a voicemail left saying we had boxes and items left on the patio and we called to explain that we have nothing on our patio except for a table and two lawn chairs. We Were then told that it may have been a mistake. There was never a follow up call with an apology. Lastly, there was a fine and letter left on my door claiming that my dog had went on the grass without me cleaning it. I work 40+ hours as a coach/teacher during the day and evening. The one time the dog left a mess was when we got home from a trip out of town. I did not have a bag to clean the mess, so I went to retrieve one. As I was leaving to grab a bag I was abruptly yelled at by a maintenance worker. The beginning of the lease there was an issue with a previous roommate whom got in trouble, but that roommate moved to another location. There are numerous other accusations by the front office upon my roommate and I. We both work 40+ hours on top of just graduating college and are never late on our rent. I have never been harassed at any of my previous locations as I have been here. I am still paying off a lease break and multiple fees and its been a year now.

Review №52

After living here for a full year, my lease has ended and I can give my full honest review. I wish I could give more stars because I honestly do love my apartment! I lived in a two bedroom apartment. The kitchen is beautiful and has a lot of open counter space and the kitchen appliances are very nice. The bedroom and living room have a lot of space and the closet is amazing as well. The staff here are great and have always been so nice and very helpful! Unfortunately there are some things that are just out of their control. My biggest complaint and one of the main reasons we decided to not stay is because our apartment smelled like cigarette smoke. It was a faint smell until it started to seep into my clothing and all my items, causing me (a non-smoker), my brand new car and all of my belongings to ultimately smell like smoke. My only thought is our neighbors must be heavy smokers or the old tenants had to be. We complained of the problem and we were told we could move units but we have so many belongings that this was the last thing we wanted to do. There is often a strong smell of marijuana outside too, but were in Colorado so I guess what can you expect. My next complaint is the laundry situation; sharing one washer and dryer with an entire building of people is less than ideal. They are usually always in use when we are trying to do laundry and it stinks that we have to pay to do laundry every time on top of paying for a card that we have to preload with money. I understand the reasoning behind this it is just inconvenient. Since the washer and dryer were full every time we needed to do laundry, we had accumulated a larger load than normal but didnt want to separate because we did not want to pay twice; this was a bad idea considering two of my favorite pairs of pants got caught on something in the dryer and were ripped to shreds. :( Next, is the parking lot. It is often very hard to find parking close to our apartment, not due to lack of space but due to the fact that people simply just do not know how to park and are always taking up two spots or are parking extremely crooked. I paid for a covered parking spot and one day accidentally parked in the wrong one, once I realized I was in someone elses spot and was moving my car, the man whos spot it was flipped me off. Another thing that is kind of gross is the fact that there is dog poop all over the grass, it is almost inevitable to step in it. Another thing is the water temperature, I know that it runs from a boiler, but that makes it so sometimes it is literally impossible to get cold running water. The air conditioner gives off nice cool air but is very loud and only delivers cool air to the living room causing sleeping to be miserably hot especially in the summer time. Windows being open and fans being turned on do not even help the heat. Living right next to the pool in the summer in a little bothersome considering there are kids out there screaming literally all day every day since it has opened. The last thing Ill mention is that I always see police here and have watched multiple people get arrested so its a little scary. Overall, I did like my apartment and the staff here, there were just a lot of small things that made the experience a little less enjoyable.

You run out of hot water consistently at all times of the day. We take 3-minute showers during the week, and one 15-minute on Sunday. Its not like were hot water hogs. The whole building splits the gas bill, which is not good when I only set the heater at 60 at night. So my neighbor who sleeps with the heat on and the windows open, guess who helps pay for his gas bill? Me. Its like a communist system of utility billing. The north side of the building, the asphalt in front of the carports never melts, and to add to the hazard, the genius who built them has the roof of the carports tilting towards the front, emptying any melting water from the roof onto the ice rink to make it extra slick. My daughter was walking along and her feet completely slipped out from under her and slammed the ground. They say theyre working on remodeling the place. I guess thats more important than just lifting the angle of the roofs so that water slides off the back. The parking lot on the east side is very dark, so dont take out the trash after dark. We are LUCKY to have 2 washers and dryers in our building; most only have one. I get up Sunday morning around 7:00 to be able to get our laundry done. Otherwise good luck. The walls are paper thin. The hallways outside echo. There is no mail pickup. The mailman gets here at 6:30. There is dust everywhere, including inside my cupboards. I know this because there is dust on my pan lids. I have Netflix, and while streaming, it cuts out constantly. I might as well have commercials because thats about how often it cuts off. I cant wait until my lease is up. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly.

The management at this location was excellent to work with. I really enjoyed them all. The reaction to the American Flag situation was very unwarranted. However, I cannot justify giving these apartments more than two stars simply due to the type of people they choose to rent to. The police are constantly here, if somebody is smoking cigarettes or anything else for that matter, the smell will fill up your apartment. People are always having parties and being loud and disrespectful. There is a lot of domestic violence you can clearly hear. It really is a shame as these apartments are very nicely upgraded and as mentioned before, the staff is amazing. If you are looking for a quiet, family friendly place, look elsewhere. Especially if you have kids.

We lived in Sterling Heights for 19 months. Now that weve moved out and have gone through the full in/out process, I feel I can write an honest review.First off, the stream of 1 star reviews over the flag incident is ridiculous. Its written in the lease (contract) YOU sign stating you cannot hang stuff on your balcony railing. Quite frankly, the display of the US flag in this manner (no pole) is disrespectful anyway. With that out of the way... Sterling heights was a fine place to live. Our building had no drama, our washers/driers were always in order, and parking was abundant. Neighbors were friendly and the staff was helpful. Some people complain about cops being called here. After 19 months, I think we saw cops 2-3 times. No absurd scenes though. They didnt offer recycling, which was a pain. The pool was always clean, grills didnt work very well. Maintenance staff was super friendly, responsive and helpful. We NEVER had any maintenance request take longer than 2 days. Office staff were similarly helpful to us. Their community events are a bit silly, but hey its nice they try!! Most places dont care at all. Gym was... An ok little gym, I didnt love it, but used it occasionally, could definitely use an update. AC in the apartment was lackluster and the parking lot could use a repave. The move out process was alright. I arranged an appointment with the head maintenance guy (via the office) to do a walk-through. When I drove up to do it though, he wasnt there that day! This was super annoying. All said and done we got charged for ~1 hour of cleaning and 3 light bulbs (why????) After moving out.If you are looking for a place to rent, this is a good choice. Its a bit pricey for the area, but the apartments are updated and staff is good.

I know this is long but there is a lot that is wrong with this complex. If anyone is looking to rent. Do not rent from Sterling Heights apartments. They are way over priced, they will tell you rent for a 2 bedroom apartment is $1200 but then you have to pay “common electric” which is the courtyard and building lights, which some buildings light never turn off, they over charge for water even when you barely use water at all. My water bill at my house is less. Gas is higher than it should be. They charge $10 extra for trash which after the math, they are collecting over $25k a month in trash for 9 dumpsters. So after all the utilities and pet rent and a carport fee you end up paying over 1400 for a tiny 2 bedroom apartment. All these bs rules about what you can and can not have on your patio. Security comes around once a night at the same time and never comes back. The laundry room is a joke. There is 1 washer and 1 dryer per building, which each building has 12 units, so getting In to do a load is a pain. You have to pay for a laundry card and to put money on this card. Which comes to just about $3 a load, that adds up quick with a family of 4. So not only you pay utilities (which includes water) you also pay more for water when you need to wash your clothes. There’s room in the laundry room for a 2nd unit or even 4 stackables but no they can’t do that.I lived there for 3 years and every year rent went up and the complex went down. The management that was there when I moved in was great. Then there were some changes and it went way downhill after that. Maintenance was great, and that was really the only good thing, they were quick to come help with an issue. The people who work in the office use the “reserved parking” spaces for themselves for the day and they try to fight you when you want the one they are using. They don’t pay for those spots, the tenants do so tenants should have a choice in what they can have for a spot that is not being paid for. They require renters insurance but I guess it’s “not their responsibility to check to make sure it’s still in effect or renewed” so you can start a renters policy give them the dec page then cancel after that because they won’t check it.I was a good tenant when I lived there. Always on time if not early with rent. Quiet. Followed their stupid rules and now that I moved out they are trying to charge me for a “broken valve” nothing was broken when I left, 4 light bulbs which all worked when I moved out and “9hours of cleaning” I cleaned that as best I could considering I have a spinal injury, I worked my tail off to clean as best I could. By myself. the only thing that needed to be done was to replace the carpet because it was old when I moved in, and they are charging 2x the normal amount of utilities when we were told we wouldn’t have to worry about paying them on the last months rent and we weren’t there for the last month to use any utilities. They are not a place you want to rent. They will find any excuse to screw you over in the end. Never going to recommend them to anyone ever.

I lived at Sterling Heights for over two years, the apartment was nice, but management was a nightmare.Pros-The apartments at sterling heights are nice, clean and big.-The maintenance team is very kind and efficient.ConsYou probably wont get your deposit back, they might even charge you more on top of the deposit despite what they tell you at check out. They may try to find a way not to honor your lease to raise the rent 2 months after you signed it.One of the biggest issues we had was with Pamela, she is nice enough until you approach her with an issue, then she is rude, unprofessional and condescending ( I suggest downloading a call recording app so you can prove that she told you something when she denies it later).Long story short, it was to hard to work with Pamela.I would think twice before moving to Sterling Heights if you want your deposit back, but if you just assume that its lost money and you avoid working with Pamela as much as possible then the complex is nice. The pool is hardly ever busy, the neighbors are respectful and the maintenance staff is great.

The manangement is super nice to you if you get on their good side. The apartments and location are nice HOWEVER when you decide to move out plan on paying WAY more than you anticipated. You will not get back your deposit because they will find a way to use it and then charge you more for things that they needed to repair. Cleaning very detailed is a waste of time because they will have a worthless crew come in and you will get charged for it. Overall, its a nice place to live until you decide that you are going to move out.

I left a very poor review previously as my first few months were not the greatest experience but after writing the review the management was on top of my issues. I do regret not expressing my concerns with management prior to the review and feel that I misjudged. Management has been nothing but kind and the one maintenance gentleman I met was beyond amazing. He listened to our concerns about possible water damage on the patio and assured us that it will be fixed and to not worry. We thought we had up to the 5th to pay rent this month to only find out that it’s to the 3rd but management excused the late fees with kindness. The smell of marijuana has come to an end due to management being on top of our concerns and it’s been months since I’ve had to worry. Thank you to the team who care about your residents feelings and concerns and I do apologize for misjudgment. Keep up the great work your doing to make this a better place and thank you for taking my family and my concerns to heart. You have definitely changed my mind about my living experience here and I will recommend to anybody interested.

The water temperature here is horrid. Dont bother trying to shower if youre in a hurry cause its either going to be arctic or lava. We made a complaint but theres nothing they can do apparently. We have younger children and showers have to be monitored for when the water changes temps. You have to be on top of it or they could get burnt. We are non smokers and live on the top floor and having our patio open is barely an option unless you enjoy the smell of smoke or marijuana. Theres dog poo all over the grass areas from others not keeping up after their pets so constantly having to inform the young children to stay off the grass isnt fun. The inside of the apartments are nice and updated which is a nice thing but Im only 5 months into a 1 year lease and Im counting down the days already. :(

Place is not all its cracked up to be. If you want to live in a hyper-controlled box where Big Brother threatens you constantly, this is the place for you. Now, dont get me wrong, if you want to let your ignorant children screech and run around in nothing but diapers, this is the place for you. Doesnt make sense, does it?If you are white trash, or a lower class minority, you will not be messed with here. If you are a normal person trying to live, they will hate you and do everything they can to make you miserable. Its reverse racism and class warfare. I hate this place and cant wait until my lease is up.

Disgraceful that this property equates the tasteful display of the American Flag to clutter, personal belongings, or trash. That is what they have told one resident, Samuel Adams. For them to waste the owners money on the time to write a letter to a resident complaining about this tells you all you need to know. Dollar based management team with no real sense of community or personal relationship. Because if either of those existed the American flag would be allowed on anyones balcony anytime.

If there are greedy people in the world, they all spawn from here. The management is atrocious. They feed upon unsuspecting members of the public and force them into deals they are not ready for through incentive. Once they have you, theres no turning back. I wish there was a way to put less than one star. Not a current resident but left a couple weeks ago... I dont know where to start about this place... but Ill start with the major issues that I have with this complex. To start I just wanted to point out that my friends still living in the complex had somebody throw up on the carpet outside of their apartment and it took the complex 3 weeks to clean it up and the reason why I put it in quotations is because 7 months later it is still a disgusting mess where it happened. WHO WANTS TO LIVE IN A PLACE LIKE THAT. Every morning around 8 AM the maintenance workers operate either leaf blowers or some other machinery that is extremely loud. If youre a person who works night shifts this is ridiculous and obnoxious for anyone who needs to sleep. If youre going to be loud at least clean the place. The outsides of the complex are disgusting because they put carpet on the floors of each apartment and DONT FORGET THE PUKE STAIN THATS STILL AT THE COMPLEX. They also use their maintenance workers as little spies just as an FYI to make sure to constantly monitor and watch you like a hawk so thats exciting. Also were like 90% sure that the pool cleaner and the security guards have a drug deals or something else sketchy going on but thats a story for another time. Another huge issue is the laundry situations. THIS IS MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT, you pay $1000+ for this apartment and you have to pay to share one washer and dryer per building and you have to pay for these ridiculously idiotic cards that cost somewhere around $5 before you put any money on it. On top of that they decided to add locks to the doors to the washer and dryer rooms! If youre anything like me theres nothing I hate more than having a laundry basket in yours hands and then having to set it down just to unlock a door THAT HALF THE TIME ISNT EVEN LOCKED. If youre paying this amount of money to live in an apartment why not include a washer and dryer per apartment, this would make everybody elses life better, I wouldve even payed more money for that. Every other apartment in the area around the same price offers way better options for washing and drying clothes. ANOTHER huge issue about this place THE A/C. There isnt a central A/C system in the apartments so you have to rely on these obnoxiously loud A/C units that dont cool down the bedrooms of the apartments, only the living rooms. It makes sleeping hell because youre way to hot. It also makes just being in the apartment literal hell. The apartment complex changes rules constantly that may make life easier for the complex but makes the life of the residents terrible. They dont allow so many things on your porch. So if you want lawn chairs on your porch good luck because they might threaten to evict you. Also good luck with your security deposit because theyll charge you for every little thing to make sure they get all the money they can out of you. There are always sketchy people around the complex and constantly cops around here for different reasons. I know this is Greeley but this is ridiculous, this place makes you feel like youre living in downtown Chicago, thats how often the cops are here. ALSO be prepared for the worst parking of your life, all of the lines on the complex are painted and repainted over each other so it causes a lot of issues with how people park. Just when you thought you could not have more money threatened to be taken away from you there are the sheltered parking spots. If theres a serious storm coming our way and you want to protect your car from hail for the night, the apartment will make sure bright and early the next morning to threaten to fine you for trying to protect your car. Be prepared here to be watched like a hawk here, they will find anything they can to screw you over day in and day out. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to live.

I lived there a few years ago and it looks like nothing has changed. I remember like it was yesterday I went in to pay my heating bill and the manager was telling me a different amount from my bill, I told her what my bill said and she said she did not care what my bill said, her computer said a different amount. I went for my bill in my apartment, still I got charged what was on her computer. $174 when there was only half of the apartments rented because of remodeling was a joke. When we moved out we were charged ridiculous moving out charges and ended up owing them. If I would have read the reviews online I would have not moved in!

We only moved in a few weeks ago but Sterling Heights management and apartments make me feel comfortable and right at home. I have been mistreated and judged in the past for my disabilities but when I informed Sterling Heights, they continued to treat me as a normal person. My boyfriend and I have never been happier in an apartment. Sincerely the offices cookie monster. :)UPDATE: Still love it here!My favorite apartment complex in Greeley! The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. The staff are wonderful people. They even put together little events for their residents. I had plenty terrible experiences since moving up to Greeley, but once I move into Sterling Heights I knew I was home. The staff are so kind they know not everybody can remember everything in the lease so they send out little reminders that keep our apartment environment inviting and friendly. My old apartments made me fear phone calls and emails but Sterling Heights staff have helped me no longer fear messages from apartment people because even if I did something wrong they remind me in the nicest way possible. We are all human here (minus our pets) and Sterling Heights community understands that. There is many great people to meet here. Great place for animal lovers and very kid friendly. I feel more safe in and around my apartment than I do on UNCs campus. As a tiny young woman feeling safe is one of my top priorities in choosing an apartment. Stop by, take a tour, and meet the staff. Maybe you might call Sterling Heights home too. ~Sarah Cox

Its was hard to hear Mr. Adams speech. I was at first disappointed with the letter he read. As a female Vietnam veteran of 15 years, I am appalled and saddened at where this country is going with its freedoms, even the freedom to burn the American flag!! I called Sterling Heights Apts and talked to the Manager, who listened to me about this issue. According to her, Mr. Adams was asked to contact the office 3 times before he was sent the letter. He was told he could fly the flag, but from a a pole but apparently he continues to argue the issue. He apparently has many followers supporting him, the FB of the apartments has shut down and the office has received many threat type calls. (Her husband is an American veteran, served during 9/11 and the family is all American, although some have told them to go back to wherever they came from). Mr. Adams--although you are an American (not veteran), please dont be defiant of this issue. This country has enough of that. Try to just follow rules set by the apt, set a positive role tor others and be a part of bringing this country together. For those of you who have hate comments to me, I dont need anymore hate from supposed freedom of speech Americans and non-Americans. AND, MR. ADAMS SHOULD NOT HAVE THAT BLUE GARLAND HUNG ON THE FLAG, AS WELL AS HE SHOULDNT BE LEANING ON THE FLAG!
