I asked for curtain bangs and layers. one side of my bangs were an inch longer than the other side, i had to cut it to even it out when i got home. i loved the salon and people but yeah

Went for a natural looking balayage. Showed pictures to my stylist. She only used one tone and I’m very disappointed in my one tone “blonde” hair with roots. Not anything close to what I asked for. On my blow dry I also got neck pains because she was tugging on my hair so hard

Michelle is one of the best nail technicians anywhere. She is patient and attentive; gives suggestions and listens to what you want. Two thumbs up (because that is all I have) One million stars, and customer loyalty.

I was a mid afternoon walk in. The stylist shampooed my hair then asked me how Id like my hair to be cut. I gave fairly specific guidance. She proceeded to ignore everything that I said and cut my hair way to short. Why ask the question if youre going to do what you want?

I was in the city for spring break, originally from the Twin Cities, and wanted to get my hair dyed along the opal trend. Found Hairacy Downtown on Google and hoped for the best. As I told Darius when he finished, he crushed it. Was probably the best cut and color Ive had, hands down. Price was amazing, used to paying 3x that back home...10/10 would recommend.

The girls from Hairacy Downtown did an AMAZING job on all the up-dos of the gals at my wedding (As you can see from the picture). Kim, the owner, is amazing and very helpful throughout the process. I wouldnt recommend anywhere else. :)

First of all, I loved my pedicure and the nail technician! But, when it came to pricing... I was expecting to pay $55 but was charged $65 because I was a new client...? I was a little taken aback and wish that was clearly printed on the website. Then as I thought about it, I never received the full $55 pedicure. I never had the hot oil massage or the hot steamy towels. I received the $45 pedicure since I did not receive the hot oil massage or hot steamy towels and charged extra... Ouch.

Michelle did a great job on my nails! She made great conversation and was very non-judgemental. The whole experience was relaxing and worth every penny.

This was my 3rd time here and aboulutely love it here!! Everyone here is super friendly and they always make me feel so welcome when I visit!! And at today visit I fell in love with my stylist!! I finally found one and Darius made my hair feel and look so amazing!!! He was super funny and answered all my questions! I def recommend this Salon and Darius!! (Everyone does amazing work as well)

All i can say are wonderful things! They did my makeup and kirsten was super friendly, made me feel comfortable and my makeup highlighted my eyes and face extremely well! She also did my hair and it looks great, colored very well and it has not faded yet! Just a very welcoming and awesome environment! Highly recommended!

I went to Hairacy Downtown today for the first time. Katie, a new employee, gave me a manicure and pedicure (I asked for special fourth of July colors). She did a great job! Katie and the other employees were very pleasant and fun to talk to. Will definitely go back.

This is my go-to place for hair care. Kim, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. She is the only person I trust to style my unruly, tight curls! If you have very curly hair and are having trouble finding someone who can give you the right shape, I strongly suggest stopping in to this lovely establishment.

As someone who is very particular about their hair, I was incredibly reluctant to try a new salon. I was more than pleased with the service that was provided at Hairacy. Their stylist, Kellie has done my hair several times now. She is friendly, warm, a consummate professional, and truly knows her craft. I would recommend her to anyone. I also had nothing but pleasant interactions with the salon owner, Kim - as well as the rest of the Hairacy staff. Well worth the visit, not to mention they always have fabulous specials!

BRIDES BEWARE!!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!!!!The owner KIM Is the worst person to be in customer service. She is too concentrated on how she feels the clients looked rather than how the clients feel. After looking at her reviews, i noticed that someone wrote a bad review 8 months ago from todays date 5/10/18 and she replied and i quote it would have been nice for you to call me and tell me about your experience so i could have at least refunded your money or something.Being in customer service anyone knows that if refunds are needed OR someone is requesting to have their trial be free (because of quality) it normally needs to be approved by the manager/owner. Since my bridal trial was on Saturday I waited until Monday morning to contact the owner KIM however she wasnt working on Monday as told by Darius (who by the way is compassionate and understanding and shouldve been the owner). He at least offered a free re trial at no expense but i had already made arrangements with another salon).I told Kim that I did not want to write a bad review as i understand how that can be damaging to business and explained to her that i had seen her previous response from 8 months ago to try and get resolution... She called me Tuesday morning and continued to keep repeating herself of how much she LOVED and thought my hair and makeup was BEAUTIFUL. But again, this goes to show you with no apologies, no remorse and no understanding for client satisfaction she was only concerned about how she felt.I had my bridal trial and 1 bridesmaid trail in the same Saturday.My reasons for unhappiness are as follows:1. Makeup girl didnt have her air brush kit as requested to have 1 tested with airbrush and the other gal with regular makeup.2. Makeup quality she uses is poor and was inclusive of (but not limited to) WET and WILD, bb creams and other items you can buy at walgreens.3. Makeup girls hands reeked so bad of body odor.4. she herself was not wearing any makeup so the initial reaction by me to whom was doing it was So YOURE doing our makeup?5. Everyone was at a bridal show in Chicago except said makeup girl and Pink hair girl that is only contracted for weddings apparently she didnt even work at the salon.6. Said hair dresser stated she didnt like doing womens hair but loves to razor cut mens hair.7. Said hair dresser stated she had NO clue how to use halo extensions.8. Said hair dresser kept stating she shouldve listened in hair school about finger waves because she had no clue how to do them as shes working on my bridesmaid.9. said hair dresser was youtube-ing at the time of trying to accomplish said finger waves.10. Our fake lashes fell off as we were walking out of the salon door - how were they supposed to last all night at a wedding?Ill let you all do the rest of analyzing how my makeup and hair looked as i will upload pictures! CLOWNISH and the hair was a bun I would wear while working out.POOR QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR SERVICE, BE AWARE KIM WILL NOT STAND BY HER WORDS OF COMING TO A SOLUTION IF A BAD REVIEW IS NOT MADE.

Did my hair And makeup for my Senior Pictures! Very happy with how it turned out!

Went here with my maid of honor before my wedding on Friday August 25 2017. The girls who did our hair and makeup were very friendly, however, our hair was nothing great (did not look like the pics we brought in) and our makeup was HORRIBLE. There was no mirror to look at while she applied the makeup so you only see it after it has been set, she used the same applicators for both of us which looked like from her private stash of makeup.I asked the girl how long she had been doing makeup and this was her first time and she was still in cosmetology school... so not even licensed and im paying her 50$ to do my makeup that I had to redo anyways. I wish I would have taken pics but we were there for so long I didnt even have time to think and was blotting off makup and fixing it on the way to my wedding. Also no one knew how to cash us out on the computer so we stood there waiting for 20min while they tried to find the owner. Still couldnt find the owner so I finally was able to just write a check and leave otherwise I would have never made it to my wedding. Very dissappointing experience and of all days my wedding day. Definetley expected to atleast like my hair and makeup when paying $110 for it....

Hairacy Downtown has great service, they take their time, and really make sure you leave with a haircut you are happy with. I would recommend them to anyone and will continue going there myself.
