Went here to get my nails done before my wedding. The lady that did my nails used a spinning tool on my nails and pushed it into my cuticles which caused 3 of my fingers to bleed around the nail bed. I dont think she knew what she was doing because my sisters got their nails dont by another lady and didnt bleed. The next day, the polish started to crack and I had no time to go back to the salon to get them fixed. Not only were they cracked, the gel manicure was very poorly done around the cuticle line. Do not come here.Picture is not even a week after I got them done.

I was happy to find this salon since it is so conveniently close to my house, however my most recent visit will be my last. I had an appointment for 9am, the door was locked at 9am so I headed back to my car to wait. Almost 10 after, another lady and I were let in. Although I had made an appointment, a “walk-in” was helped first and I was told my nail tech was coming soon. As I sat for 40 minutes, I wasn’t informed on who was helping me or when, then I was told the owner, Tracy, would be. Once she arrived, she proceeded to do my nails quickly, so quickly she over filed one of my natural nails but assured me she would fill in the gap later. Throughout the application, Tracy was distracted and as a result I had to bring several mistakes to her attention. An hour long appointment turned into two and by the end I was very upset with what I was left with. Upon checkout, I asked for a discount for my troubles (she did not offer). Tracy offered $5 off, I explained to her not only did I have to wait, I was having to leave with a damaged nail. So I asked if she could offer more, she responded with “Well what do you want?! I already offered you 10% off, you want 20%?” To be the owner, and to have handle an unpleased client how she chose to is shocking.

Did such an awesome job ...Im the truck driver who came in after the neighboring saloon claimed they were too busy to take me in ..claimed they were booked only two people in there ..I got better servce and I will be back thank you

Toenails and fingernails done and I am very happy!

Very nice workers, but cut all of my cuticles to the point they were bleeding and hurt. My nails looked good other than the blood though.

Best foot massage I’ve ever gotten when going for a pedicure. I wish I lived closer so I could go get it done monthly. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Everyone had masks on and wore them correctly. It was quiet, peaceful & they had a great section of polishes to choose from. Everyone was very friendly. I would highly recommend Chic Nail Spa for a pedicure.

Chic Nails did a great job and I love the color too. Thay have a huge selection of colors and very friendly staff.

Nice place! Employees were very kind and the foot massages will keep you coming back for pedicures! They take pride in the nail artistry.

It was terrible me and my 2 friends had an appointment at 1:45 we didn’t get serviced until almost an hour later we were all done by 5 they told my friend one price charged her a higher amount the lady who did my nails left air bubbles in my nails and she was very rough my cuticles are very much inflamed (her name was vee ) . I asked for square and got oval it was just a horrible experience for me and my 2 friends I do not recommend going here at all !

I went in for a manicure, the lady recommended dip nails. After she explained the dip nails would be better than the schillac I requested I decided to go with dip. They did not have any if the colors I selected, 8 in total! She kept saying the colors I selected were in high demand over Christmas, come on its now mid January! There was a strong odor in the salon and my instinct told me to leave so I told the lady I would come back another time

Always a quality service, Kathy does a great job with my nails and is always able to replicate pictures/designs of nails I would like for each appointment. Friendly staff, clean environment, love going there!

I recently moved to Grand Rapids and was searching for a new nail salon. Ive come to Chic Nail Spa 2 times now and both times they did a fantastic job on my dip nails. The prices are fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxing.

This is definitely my salon of choice! I have been going to Chic Nail Spa for about three years now. The salon is clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. It has the look and feel of an upscale salon, but with reasonable prices. Everyone who works there is friendly, yet professional. Tracy, the owner, does her best to make everyone feel welcome. She personally does my nails and they always look great! People are always asking me where I get my nails done. If you havent done so already, you need to try Chic Nail Spa, you cant go wrong.

I have been going to Chic Nail Spa every 2 weeks for the last 7 years and have always had a great experience! Tracy, the owner is so personable and does such great job as does her staff. They always do their best to be accommodating. There have been a couple times when I have had to go to different salons because I have been out of town and none of them have made me feel as comfortable and have done as good a job. Everyone who works here is also so kind and enjoyable! LOVE IT!

Went for a pedicure with my mother in law, she has never had a pedicure done, and she is getting married, so we went looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy a nice pedicure. We got there at 11am, we were greeted quickly, and waited less than 10 minutes to get put pedicures started. They were very nice, actually massaged my feet and calves, they talked to us and made us feel so comfortable. They applied both base and top coat and not forget they offered something to drink free of charge. They only accept tips in cash tho. Looks very modern too. Overall very good expericene we are coming back.

Everyone is so sweet there and kind. They have done a wonderful job each time Ive gone.

Today was my first time coming here, and I am SO happy I did!! Im usually very reluctant to try new nail salons but based off the reviews I read, I decided to give it a shot.I showed Tracy a picture of what I was looking to have done with my nails and she practically hit the nail on the head with shape and color! I will definitely be going back, and recommending it to my family and friends!

When I went to Chic, I had never had my nails done before. I went back many times, and I thought it was a good place, but I wanted to try another just to have something to compare it to. The second place did a great job on my nails too, BUT the atmosphere of Chic cannot be compared. The women are friendlier and more genuinely caring than the other places I tried. My sisters went with me once, and they loved it! If they werent from out of town, theyd go to Chic all the time. Today is a great day--I am celebrating recovering from surgery by going to Chic and getting a pedicure, and my out of town sisters and niece are coming too! We wouldnt go anywhere else. Chic has the best atmosphere and personal attention of anywhere the four of us have gone :)

By far the best place to get your nails done. All of the employees do a great job and the shellac and dip is done correctly. The pedicures are very relaxing. It is a clean spa with lots of options of services and a fantastic staff.

Edit: One of the best things a business owner can do when a customer isnt satisfied is to turn the situation around, which is what she did. She explained the situation and made sure the rest of my experience was great.--------------------Ive been here a few times and each time have had a frustrating and irritating experience. Mostly related to their scheduling. Ive been a walk in and they tell me to come back. Ive made an appointment and had to wait 40 minutes!!! They put in nail polish remover into the nail polish container to make it last longer. -Probably most places do this, but for the prices and considering the business they are in, seems like you should just reorder the color. Which in my experience of this, the color polish only lasted a few days before started chipping off. The place looks nice, especially after the new updates. Nice new chairs. They do a nice job of nails. They are nice people. Just the scheduling is terrible. Invest in a scheduling management application, tablet and head set.

This salon is the best salon in West Michigan. Their attention to detail when doing your nails is above and beyond all high end salons. Chic Nails doesn’t cost an arm and a leg like the high end salons do.if you want s quality salon that does a quality nod then go to Chic Nail Salon.

Made an appointment. Waited 32 min to be seen to be put in chair and left another 14 min. (I was in a great mood and was celebrating my birthday with a great of a pedi) To be ignored verbally most of my stay. Cut my nails crooked. Didn’t fully paint them. Only filed one foot. I Asked for design. She did her own which I didn’t care for AT ALL. Then got an attitude when I asked her to not use red in design. So disappointed in service and how my toes turned out. 😭😭 $37 wasted!!!

My technician was friendly and paid close attention to detail. The place was clean staff was pleasant.

Terrible service! People are very rude. My 13 year old got acrylics and the lady would not listen to her about the length. She made them too long. I told her she needs them shorter after they were done and she proceeded to be very short and argumentative with me in front of the whole salon. Will not be going back!

I was referred to come here by my waitress at Cracker Barrel lol. This was my first time coming to Chic Nails, and I had a really good experience. I called ahead to see if they had any availability Tracy took care of me--she is nice and very professional. I had pink and white acrylic ombre and needed a fill. She did her best to match the proper pink that I already had on my nails. Plus, I have a small nail bed, and she (unlike many other nail techs) did not cut me at all! Long story short, if you go ask for Tracy! :)

Called to set an appointment for a manicure and upon my arrival they had a wedding party that walked in. Person in front desk told me that I would have to wait because it was 7 of them and only 7 nail techs. Really wanted to try this place and disappointed that my first time there I had to cancel my appointment.

Yikes! I only went here because of the good reviews I read on Google. The girl that did my feet, didnt do my hands. Sometime else came in to do my hands. I thought that was weird. According to their website, my services should have cost $59 but I was charged $76. I disputed this with the lady and she claimed she didnt know what the website said, as their prices were listed by the register. Whats the point of having a website if youre not going to honor the prices?

This place is well decorated and clean. Expected a great experience based on reviews, yet unfortunately a big disappointment. Called to schedule 4 pedis around 5pm. They told us to come in at 5:30 (didnt realized they close at 6) and was quoted a cost from $23 - $56. We got done with our pedis and they charged us $32 when we never asked for anything besides the basic. We even asked partway through the pedicure to say Were only getting the basic, right? They lied to our faces and said yes, then wanted a tip on top of the overcharged $32. They started mopping the floors before we were even done and expected us not to slip and fall in the disposable shoes as we walked out. 1 of the 4 had a TERRIBLE polish job and 3 of 4 didnt get a base or top coat. Id suggest going elsewhere or be ready to justify what exact services you want done..

I went in for a pedicure today. I always get a foot massage and leg massage and lotion put on everytime I get a pedicure. Ive had them for 26 years...once a month ....the girl that did mine looked like it was the first time doing a pedicure. She just didnt seem to know what she was doing. Then I go into the waxing room and get left in there while they are out there chit chatting away...for like ten minutes. Usually I have good service. Today was horrible. First time in 26 years I havent tipped at a salon. I probably will not return.

This place is great. A little awkward being a guy in there, but I have to have a pedicure every few months or my feet are history. My feet love them. Was just there last week after trying another place. Big mistake. This is the place to go.

1st time using this salon today. Myself and mom received 2 full gel sets with designs, and I brought my 2 daughters 9 and 11 with their 12 year old friend. Girls got mani/pedis. Unbelievably great service! Cathy did my nails and not only do they look and feel fantastic - she is an absolute gem! Sweet and funny. The girls were so quiet and well-behaved I almost forgot they were there - which means they were in good hands as well. We will definitely be back soon!

Attention anyone who thinks they are getting (and paying for) Pink & White you are being lied to. I have worn Pink & White for years, when I have them removed for a new set my nails are very healthy. After stopping in for a pink & white fill the attendant was screwing up my nails, the white tips were all over the place. After 4 nails in I let the owner know the girl did not know what she was doing. Tracy just said, tell her what you want. I should have just gotten up and walked away but let her keep going. After finishing the right hand, 3 out of the 5 nails the white tip wasnt even close to being straight. She ran the brush over the white portion and then the white went over my whole nail. By the time she got to my right hand I had lumps in my nails along with the horrible white lines going half way up my nail. Again 3 of those nails had a hazy while look over the whole nail. That was NOT anything that could be fixed. Anyone who has the Pink and White knows that the white portion is separate and done after the pink part. I have NEVER walked out on a service in my life or half way into one. I gave my credit card, still willing to pay for the mess. The owner Tracy didnt want to hurt her employees feelings. I then proceeded to go back to my original nail salon Asia Nail where they immediately removed the Pink & White back to my own nails. I was horrified to see how damaged my nails now were since going to Chic Nail. AGAIN, they are using the chemical and NOT the actual Pink and White although they will show you the containers are the same. They are NOT, they are using the chemicals that damage your nails. One VERY unhappy customer. I also do not like being lied to which I feel they do.One last thing, THANK YOU Vy at Asia Nails for fixing my nails.

My go to place for nails! I have tried dip nails at multiple locations and nothing tops Chic Nails. It doesn’t matter who you get, all the technicians are fabulous.

I have flat nail beds but Tracy the owner’s application of gel nails, does not lift between fills. Tracy and I have fun picking out the “color for the next weeks”, for my nails.

Relaxed place,lovely coversations,friendly atmosphere, manicures are so on point and most of all the shellac lasts for more than 2 weeks. The best in town.
